View Full Version : Intergender Negative Effect with Women's Division?

Okay, in the previous game, often times it seemed like matches were rated harsher when "Women's Division" was in effect but you booked an man and woman vs. man and woman match. Is that accurate or was that just a result of tag matches being judged harsher in 08? If it's the former, will that still hold true if I have the women in a separate division but still book them in intergender tag matches?

If it isnt integrated, the crowd will boo the segment and be turned off by women wrestling men.

I also recall being said that 08 had more harsh grading for tag matches. More possible penalties and 10 should be easier towards tag matches.

Yeah, I don't remember getting notes that the crowd was turned off by women wrestling men, but I don't know if that's actually a note you'd get. I ran a lot of intergender tag matches as it's a good way to keep the women from constantly having the same matches over and over again with a smaller pool to work from.
So, I was hoping it's the harsher tag ratings that caused the lower ratings and not women fighting men.

Really? How odd.
I recall Kid Kash v Trinity and Abyss & Taylor v Raven & Daffney getting huge reactions from the crowd, and that's in a company with a women's division.
I know it has to be limited to prevent abuse, but it would be a shame if you were penalised for only occasional matches.

it may be because 08 didnt have mix tag rules, some fans do dislike men on women violence, most of the time their mixed tag matches meaning men fight the men and women fight the women.
Obviously in real life it works differently if you have such a dick heel vs. a strong femal face the fans will go with it or they will literally just crap all over it.

An intergender match shouldn't necessarily mean 'men wrestling women'. The rules are often the male wrestling the male and the female wrestling the female

A mixed tag has men vs men and women vs women. An intergender match is between genders ("inter" literally means "between").
That's how I understand it, anyway.

I lied apparently.
I just had Alicia Strong fight Tyson Baine and got no penalty. My womens wrestling is set to division.
I also tried a tag match and no penalty.
I'll try with none and intergender next.
None: The crowd came to see men wrestlers so all females are penalized. That didnt stop James Justice from having a B rated match with Alicia Strong anyway :)
Intergender: Same as Division.
