Xtended CVerse Idea and Planning Thread

The Idea: Flesh out the CVerse with Agers, Narratives, Eras, and Alter Egos based on the Alt thread (with permission of course). Perhaps add some new local companies around and overall try to make a 'bigger' CVerse.

The Note: I love the CVerse. I am in no way knocking the CVerse. It is a work of art. I'm just scribbling in crayon on top of it to try to make it look nicer to me. If you disagree or feel I'm abusing the CVerse I apologize.

Current Progess: Y Wrestling (Local, New England) with 20 or so workers to go along with it. (20/20) Editing

Future Ideas: Alter Egos with Alt Thread.

One thing I'll throw out is that I looks as if the CVerse is about to hit an "Attitude"-esque Era. I say this because of the Man Under Pressure storyline, with a escalation in violence in SWF being noted in the article.

I was talking about adding some local companies as a mod in the last version and I very much support this. Putting down some good restrictions to make them only select the low level wrestlers who rarely get a look in would also be a key element.

Im hesitant on the idea of adding in "forumers" as it slightly destroys my suspension of disbelief, as its mixing two realities (the forum and the C-verse) but perhaps characters that were created to be part of the C-verse in popular dynasties might be interesting (eg. Phoenix Negra as the alt of whoever it turns out to be, if we ever do find out).

I think restrictions for some of the local feds would be awesome, actually. Have a fed where they only hire under 25's, and another for the grizzled vets...

Would REALLY like to see some new British guys after all the love Australia has had in 10. :)

Did seem to me like the 2010 picture pack was much more streamlined than the '08 one. Which was great, but left some of my work out in the cold with no one to love it. Were the 'Wrath of God' alts in there? Nightshade? The 7000 Edd Stones? I actually don't know... Probably not though.

If you ever see an Alt Pic I've done, feel free to use it.

Also, if you';re taking inspiration from diaries on the board, can I suggest BigPapa's Generation Supreme? Give Rich Money more of that 'Beautiful Reign' or have Avatar as part of the writing staff?

I don't think I'll actually edit companies to look like dynasties but maybe I'll add "Big" Papa Avatar to the database as a potential booker.

Also created Gateway Wrestling East and Gateway Wrestling West, East owned by Stink and West owned but Grunt. Set both to only hire unemployed. Both are local.

Gonna start looking to do the alter egos soon, but honestly I've been working 50 hours so I feel more comfortable doing little projects like the local companies than divulging in a huge AltEgo Project.

ALSO: I am using Sims 3 to create faces for created people.

Another way is to use the GDS renders that got transfered into the C-Verse. For example if someone wanted "me" in that particular fed you'd use Dan Reacher since it's the same render as James Heatly. Which anybody who has made a GDS diary or read one of my recent dairies would know is the character I created for the GDSverse (and my diaries).

A few dojos would be cool too. I suggest any narratives be minor though.

Yeah the alter ego is going to be the bread and butter of this "mod". Well I hope so anyway.

I've always said that all my alts are free for everyone to use in every way they want to use them, I really don't care. Same goes for skins, graphics, anything. :) Renders are a different subject as the programs cost so much aswell all the stuff people can buy into the programs, etc.. And it takes a lot longer time I'd imagine.

In bizarre news today, Big Smack Scott was injured today at a autograph signing session. It is said that a kid said Scott "sucked" and Scott went to attack the kid. What happened after that changes depending on who you ask but all reports end with the kid hitting Scott with the Big Smack Shuffle and Scott being injured.

Yeah, I've been working on it in odds and ends, but to be honest I thought interest was minimal so I made it more of a 'me' project. I'll get back to making it a 'us' project again.
