{Man, Im beat. Thats enough training for today. I think I'll relax tonight with my good buddy Jack Daniels.}

Casey Valentine: "Hey, Rip wants to speak to you... like right now!"

??: "Alright, thanks Casey."

{I wonder what that geriatric wants now. I havent even had a chance to shower yet and I have to listen to him bitch at me already. This sucks. I started walking to the office and the door was open. I let myself in. He and Keith Vegas were in the room discussing something, discussing what? I dont care.}

??: "What do you want old man? Start talking, I have plans."

Keith Vegas: "Hey, cant you see we are busy here? How rude. Wait your turn."

{WTF, is this loser really telling me to wait my turn? The nerve of these peons talking to me like this.}

??: "You talentless hack. Maybe you havent noticed, but Im higher up in the pecking order than some lowlife like you. Go back to jobbing."

{Keith Vegas stands up and gets in my face. We stare each other down.}

Rip: "Thats enough you two, knock it off. Keith, you're dismissed. we'll finish our discussion later."

{I smirked, knowing I won. As Keith walked by me I shoved him into the door. He started heading back towards me but Rip pointed to the exit. Keith left.}

Rip: "Ok, so lets get down to business. Sam Strong called today asking to speak with you. He says its pretty important. USPW is holding Made In America at Virginia Fields Park. I want you to drive down there and meet with him. Dont blow it. Sam is a very important man in this industry. Act like a jerk and you'll find yourself blacklisted."

{What a drag, just what I want. A 2 hour drive to Virginia. Although if Sam Strong wants to see me, I guess I should probably go. Besides, maybe I'll get to say "hi" to Alicia.}

??: "Yeah, whatever. I guess I'll be on my way."

Rip: "Good luck. You know this is a really huge opp..{I should find someone to drive down there with. The drive alone would really suck. Hell, maybe I can convince someone else to drive so I can get tanked before the trip. Is this old man still talking? I guess I should probably listen...} and thats how I started my legendary career."

{I stood up to leave, and walked out of the room. I looked around the arena to find some sucker to go with. Hmm, Riley, Duke and Ace. Nah, I aint going with those nobodies. They'll just cramp my style. Theres Lisa.. that might be a "fun" trip but she'd ruin my chances with the hotties at USPW. I'll just take a cab. I open my bottle of Jack and polish it off before calling for a ride. They'll be here in 5 minutes. Off to USPW I go..}

Taxi Driver: "Sir, SIR. WAKE UP. We're here."

{Man I must have passed out. What a headache. I shouldnt have drink that bottle so fast. And why the hell is this taxi driver yelling at me? Doesnt he know who I am?"

??: "Shut up. Stop yelling. How much is the cab fare?"

Taxi Driver: "$45 sir"

{I handed the jerk exactly $45. Like Im going to tip some guy yelling at me. What a clown. He didnt look very happy, like I care. I wouldnt be happy driving a cab either. Loser. I got out of the cab and started heading to the arena. When I entered I was greeted by an old "friend."}

Peter Valentine: "What the hell are you doing here? I havent see you in awhile. Hows Casey?"

??: "Sam wanted to speak to me about something, not sure what. Casey is good, I just saw him a few hours ago. Hes getting ready for the Rip Chord Invitational, the geriatric has big plans for him.

Peter Valentine: (laughs loudly) Heh, I see you havent changed one bit. Things just wouldnt be the same if you did. If you see Casey again tell him to give me a ring. I'll let you go see Sam. Bye."

??: "Yeah, whatever. Bye."

{Peter is an ok guy. Not sure why he gets such a bad reputation. Hes just looking out for himself, thats what you got to do in this business. Now where the hell is Sam Strongs office? I walk around aimlessly looking for it when I hear someone approaching me from behind. I hear a familiar voice yell out my name.}

Alicia Strong: "Jay, Jay is that you? OMG, it is. {She runs up and gives me a huge hug. I tried to cop a feel but she pulled back a second to early. Damnit} I havent seen you in forever, how are you?"

Jay Chord: "Im ok. Your old man wanted to see me. Where is his office?"

Alicia Strong: "Follow me, I'll show you.{I followed} So we have a lot of catching up to do. Did I tell you tha..{I trailed behind her about 2 feet. Man what an ass on her. Shes so hot. Im glad I didnt bring Lisa with me, she cant even compare to this piece of tail. What I would..} Jay?? Jay?? Hey you listening? This is his office. What is wrong with you?"

{Damn, she caught me not paying attention. Think Jay, think.}

Jay: "Sorry Alicia. Ive just had a busy day and a long drive down here. Really curious as to what your dad wanted. Lot on my mind you know."

Alicia Strong: "Its ok Jay. I understand. This is a big day for your career. Talking to my dad is a pretty big deal. {She gives me a quick goodbye hug}Good luck."

{ I collected my composure, and ate a breath mint. Ok Jay, here we go. Lets see what Sam wants.}

{As I walked in the door, Im greeted by Sam Strong}

Sam Strong: "Hey brother, have a seat. Long time no see. {I sit} So how are you? Hows Rip?"

Jay: Im kinda tired from the drive up here. Rip is ok, bitter like always."

"Yeah, that sounds like the Rip I know. Well thats enough small talk, brother. I called you in here for a reason. We both know you are an extremely talented worker and youve been around the business long enough to know the ins and outs. How would you feel about working at USPW?

{USPW? This 3rd rate company? I guess its better than listening to my dad call me an alcoholic anytime I pick up a drink.}

"Im listening. Its definitely a promotion from MAW."

"Well brother, theres more. Shane Sneer isnt getting any younger and he just has too much on his plate. Apparently, he just wants to focus on announcing. Thats what he enjoys. So USPW is left without a booker..

{OMG, is he suggesting what I think? I listen on attentively}

And you are the son of Rip Chord whos an amazing booker in his own right. Like I said earlier, youve been around the business before you learned to crawl. Theres no doubt in my mind you would be successful booking USPW, with Shanes help of course. Whadda ya say, brother?

{I cant believe this, the head book of USPW? This is huge. I could have the world title in no time!! I tried as best as I could to hold back my excitement.}

Well Sam, that sounds like a pretty good offer. Would I have control of signings and firings? The roster backstage is pretty old, Id like to add a friend or two to the roster.

You have complete control, brother. Well, almost complete. If I see anything I dont like, I'll just decline it. But Im a pretty easy going guy. And I have no doubt anyone you bring in will be talented. Just dont go firing Peter Valentine and we shouldnt have a problem.

Fire Peter Valentine?? No, nothing that crazy. Maybe just fire Bruce the Giant.

Ok, so it sounds like we are on the same page. I actually have already had the contract drafted, brother. It just needs your signature. You'd start right away, but Sneer will book next weeks match. Your first book should be the first Wednesday of 2010.

{I looked over the contract, and read it thoroughly. Everything looked on the up and up, and given the relationship Sam has with my dad, I doubt he'd do anything to screw me over. I dotted the bottom line. Sam flashed a huge smile when I handed over the papers.}

Welcome aboard brother. You should go see Sneer. He has a bunch of papers for you. Just worker bios, current storylines, that kinda stuff. I need to go though, its time for my angle.

{I walked around for about 3-4 minutes before I bumped into Shane Sneer. Shane was sorta like an Uncle to me, it'll be good to see him again.}

Hey Jay. Good to see you. That probably means you accepted the offer? Come this way.

{I followed him into a room that I assume is for the booking staff.}

Yeah, broth.. {I hate Sam} Shane. The offer is just too good to refuse. Shocked you are stepping down.

Its just too much work. Im at a point in my life where I just want to slow down and enjoy it. Sam wasnt too happy, but I had a few recommendations for him..

That explains it. I dont exactly have a reputation as a booker.

Right. Anyway, I have some bios for you.

{He hands me a huge accordion folder.. oh man I have to go through all that? Face palm.}

We also have a few story lines going on. As you may or may not know, Bruce and Chris are fighting it out for number 1 contender. Its a pretty hot storyline but it needs to end before Stars Stripes and Slams. Its been running 4 months now, getting stale ya know.

Tyson Baine is going for Enygmas belt. Its still pretty fresh and fans are totally behind it. Ride it out as long as you can. As for the T-rex and Liberty feud.. kill it fast. Its hurting James' momentum. Its all there in the folder. Sam Strong will have a few goals for you tomorrow, he doesnt want to overload you tonight. So take the rest of the night off to relax and enjoy the show. Sam is about to open. He just left the gorilla position. Hear the crowd?

The Hotel Room

{The event ran until 10 pm. It was a pretty good show, but Im exhausted. Rather than risk driving 2 hours back to Maryland, I rented a hotel room. I better get used to life on the road anyway, there will be a lot of hotel rooms in my future. I used the time to look over the files Shane had given me earlier in the day.

There were 5 belts in the company, interesting how there are 2 midcard titles. Something will have to be done about that. Theres no way Andre Jones should hold a title more prestigous than Peter freakin Valentine.}

{After checking out the history of the titles and getting an idea on how prestigious they are, I started to mull over the other papers I read. I saw the Sneer Corporation. With Shane becoming the tv colour guy, It was clear that stable was soon to be no more. I'll have to write that off in my first show. With no running stable, I knew that was something I'd have to fix.

The tag team division consisted of 6 teams, 2 of which were just part time.

Champion Force: Nicky Champion and The Force, an occasional team with little experience.
Savage Fury: Java and Tribal Warrior, an incredibly experienced team.
The Hillbilles: Made up of 2 wrestling bums who need to be fired.
The Peoples Team: Freddie Datsun and Des Davids, the tag team champs. Occasional team no more.
The Titans: Tyson Baine and T-Rex, Team is too over for the belts, probably just an occasional squashing of new talent or openers.
The Towers of Power: Rushmore and Muscles, rather solid wrestlers and great tag experience.

Looking at that group.. it looks like they could really use a young exciting tag team..hmmm...}

{I broke down the rest off the roster by their push, just so I could become familiar with it. Once I wrote something down, it became engraved in the back of my head. I broke them down as blue face, red heel. I made little creative notes after each section.

I watched some film of each wrestler and came away impressed with Nicky Champion. At just 25 years old, hes 13 years younger than every main eventer not named Enygma who is still 9 years his senior. Its clear the training with Sam Strong is paying off. The other 4 guys are some of the biggest names in the sport and are all good workers. Its a strong main event.

Chris Caufield is the best worker on the show, and a locker room leader. I'll have to keep him happy. Peter Valentine is a deserving champion. And what do I need to say about The Force? That guys a future HOIer. Insane talent. He has a power level of over 9000!

{I woke up around 10:00 am the next day. I called for a taxi to return to Maryland. The minute I walked through the door I noticed Sam Strong sitting in my living room, talking to my father.}

Sam Strong: "Oh hey brother, glad you are finally here. I wanted to discuss a few things with you."

Rip Chord: "Well it was nice seeing you Sam. I'll leave you 2 alone. Congrats on the big time boy."

Jay Chord: "Yeah, whatever."

Ok brother, these are a few things Im requesting you do. First, you cant fall into debt. Be careful with my money, I dont want to lose it. If I go bankrupt because of something you do, all my Strongamaniacs will run wild on you! You understand brother? 2nd, and this is just as important, this company better be as popular as it was before you took over. After 2 years, we'll reaccess. Understood?

{I nod my head, man this guy talks a lot. Get to the point.. brother.}

These arent as important as the first 2, but dont let that fool you. I want Nicky Champion and Peter Valentine to keep their momentum. Nicky and Peter are like vitamins brother, they help this company grow strong. Understood?

Yeah, I think so. What your saying is Nicky and Peter have to stay at C+ momentum, right?

That means no one whos had trouble with the law or causes constant problems backstage, alright? We dont need those types of people here. We need more angels like Peter Valentines backstage. Got it?

Ok, brother. One last thing. I want you to pack your bags and join us on tour tomorrow. I want you to follow Shane Sneer around for the next 13 days. By that time it'll be January 1st and you'll be taking over. Your first show is that wednesday, January 3rd. Got it?

Ok brother, now listen up. On Thursday you need to.. {I didnt quite understand how that was possible, ever since I joined the wrestling world in 2008, it seems months got 2 or 3 days shorter. I just chalk it up to too much drinking. Maybe the blackouts are too frequent nowadays.} and thats how you get there, got it?

Yeah, got it.

{Sam said his goodbyes and we seperated ways. I went to my room and immediately began to pack. Life on the road, the journey begins today but the fun starts at the beginning of the new year.}

{The following day, I took a taxi to meet up with USPW after having to call Shane to find out where they were. Why didnt Sam bother telling me this yesterday? I managed to find it ok but I didnt arrive alone. I made my first signing public, although he wouldnt officially join the roster until January 1st.}

Floyd Griffin*
The young American Floyd Griffin is a 6'5 280 pound powerhouse with a great look and freakish athleticism. He was trained exclusively by Steve Flash and it shows. What seperates Floyd from other men his size is his sense of flare and top rope arsenal. He is very well rounded. Floyds finisher, the 360 Leg drop, is received with huge pops from the crowd. Although Floyd is quite raw, its clear to everyone he is one for the future. If he can improve on his performance skills, Floyd should see a lot of gold in his career. One of Jay Chord's life long friends, it wasnt surprising when he was announced as Jays first USPW signing. Floyd wears a signature chain around his neck.

The day is January 1st, and with the experience I gained from following Shane Sneer around for 2 months is emmense. What an experience it was. With that knowledge I finally put my first card together

To end their feud for good, T-Rex and James Justice will fight it out on this weeks USPW American Wrestling. Who will be victor and go on for a chance at the title at Red, White and Blue!

Young newcomer Jay Chord, the son of the legendary Rip Chord, makes his USPW debut against Captain America.

Theres been some rumblings in The Sneer Corporation lately. Will they be able to put their differences aside when The Towers of Power face The People's Team for the tag team titles.

Andre Jones takes on Darryl Devine for the TV title. The 2 youngsters look to establish themselves in USPWs midcard.

Peter Valentine face Enygma in the main event. Its a non title match, but with a victory Peter could establish himself as a legit contender for the title.

{When I arrived to the arena, I was told Sam Strong needed to speak with me right away. Since this was my first show, I assumed as much.}

Hey brother, you ready for tonight?

As ready as I can get, Sam.

Well I got some news for you, so we are going to see how you adjust on the fly. I know its your first day on the job, but sometimes things just dont go as planned.

{Great, I wonder what the deal is. I had my card already booked, hopefully its not earth shattering.}

I got a call from the execs at Sports America. Due to them losing a show or two, they asked if I wanted to extend the show to 2 hours. So brother, you got to come up with 30 minutes more of material.

{Well that sucks. I could just extend some of the matches, I'll find a way.}

Yeah thats ok Sam. I'll figure something about. Is that all you wanted?

Yeah brother, I cant wait to see the show tonight. Given its your first time booking, you'll get some leeway as long as you arent putting up complete bombs.

{I left his office and went to talk to all the wrestlers. They were informed a few days ago about their spot on the card. The show would kick off in 10 minutes. I went to the booking room and had myself a seat. Not for long though, as Im in one of the early segments.}

Dark Match: Giant Redwood and Jumbo Jackson Vs The Hillbillies

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jumbo Jackson and Giant Redwood defeated The Hillbillys in 5:40 when Jumbo Jackson defeated Al The Hillbilly by pinfall with a Jumbo Avalanche.

Grade: D

The Crowd started off hot tonight. This match did a lot better than I had expected. Giant Redwood is really over with the fans too, the boos filled the arena. What a heel!

Jillefski: Welcome to USPW American Wrestling. The first match tonight is three way action between Strong, Bomb and Bryden. We are joined ringside by Raven Robinson, who the winner will face at Stars, Stripes and Slams for the womens title.

Sneer: It should be an action packed match Danny.

Raven: These ladies are very talented, I'll have to take all 3 of them seriously.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Belle Bryden defeated Alicia Strong and Cherry Bomb in 9:40 when Belle Bryden defeated Cherry Bomb by pinfall with a Dish Of The Day.

Grade: C


Not knowing how to use the women, I figured I'd try them as the opening act. The crowd wasnt really into it, unfortunately.

Sneer: As you know Danny, this is the son of the legendary Rip Chord. Expect big things from this kid.

In an extremely short match, Jay Chord defeated Captain USA in 4:37 by pinfall with a Cradle Piledriver.

Grade: E+



Before this match, Captain America told me he had a problem with the booking decision. What? He has a problem losing to me? How dare he insult Jay Chord. I immediately changed the match to a complete burial of Captain America. I dominated the entire match. At the end I gave him a stiff kick to the gut. It got some cheap heat. It was easily the match of the night. I carried that loser to a 5 star match. Maybe now he'll respect Jay Chord.

Out of nowhere, Floyd Griffin hits the ring and nails Enygma from behind, and powerslams him.

Peter Valentine: Enygma, if you thought that powerslam was painful, wait until our match tonight. You are mine!!

Valentine and Tyson join in and they beat Enygma down mercifully.

Bruce The Giant vs Adam Ant (Ant-man)

Jillefski: Bruce The Giant looks like a determined man, Shane. I wouldnt want to be Adam Ant tonight.

Shane: Definitely not an easy way to make your USPW debut, thats for sure.

In an extremely short match, Bruce The Giant defeated Ant-Man in 4:45 by pinfall with a Giant Choke Slam.

I now know why Adam Ant was one of my first signings. Even though he got dominated, he made Bruce the Giant look really good. That was a well executed squash match. I hear this guy has some freakish power, I want to see him power slam some of these monsters.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, The People's Team defeated The Towers Of Power in 9:31 when Freddie Datsun defeated Mick Muscles by pinfall with a Patriot Press. The People's Team make defence number 1 of their USPW World Tag Team titles.

Grade: C-


Not much to say about this one. I just used it as card filler and it did better than expected.

This segment was hot. It really got the crowd going. Fans still love Sam Strong, hes ratings gold.

Nicky Champion is bench pressing 250 lbs. He does multiple sets and then Anger starts in on him.

The Force puts every single weight onto the bar. Its well over 1000 lbs.

Then Force does the unthinkable, not only does he bench it once, he continues to do 5 reps.

Peter Valentine vs Enygma

Danny: Its the semi main event Shane. Peter Valentine vs Enygma. This is a battle of two big names.

Shane: Thats correct Danny. Earlier tonight Peter was mocking Enygma after he was attacked from behind. Enygma can't be too happy about that. I'm expecting him to seek some serious revenge.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Enygma defeated Peter Valentine in 7:41 by submission with an Enygma Variation.

Grade: C




This was a great match. Enygma did solid work in the ring and Peter was dependable like always.

In the ring for the official contract signing to Stars, Stripes, and Slams, both men put their names on the dotted line.

Bruce: Caufield, not only will I end this feud at Stars, Stripes and Slams, I will also end your career. I am the biggest, strongest athlete in the entire world. I will show you what its like to be on the receiving end of the Giant choke slam.

Chris: Bruce, you may be the biggest athlete in the world, but I've got more heart and desire than anyone in this business. I will show you, and I will show all my young fans what can be accomplished with hard work.

The Arena was really lively for the main event. Bruce is so over with the fans.

Danny: Here we are Shane, its the main event. James Justice is one of the biggest stars in wrestling taking on one of the biggest monsters in wrestling. Who do you pick to win in this fantastic match up?

Shane: Its a battle of wrestling titans, but Justice's experience will prevail.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, James Justice defeated T-Rex in 7:50 by pinfall with a Liberation Slam.

Grade: C-


Final Rating: C I think this show might of hurt our popularity overall.

My first card seemed to be a success, although maybe not so much to the home crowd. Sam Strong was rather impressed. After the match I got into some backstage beef with Captain USA. He's still mad about earlier. What a disrespectful worker. While our next match was still a week away, I'd have some other business to take care of before then, including a few contract negotiations.

The Home Office

Before I knew it, it was Friday. I knew today would be a busy day before hand, as I had requested to talk to a lot of people. Earlier in the day I fired The Hillbillys. After given their match some thought, Im pretty sure it wasnt them. Giant Redwood could carry anyone to a good match, and proved it with The Hillbillys. I decided to make Giant Redwood and Jumbo Jackson a real team called The Jumbo Giants. Its the latest USPW craze.

Of course with the firing of The Hillbillys, and 2 new heel teams, the aforementioned Jumbo Giants and my Generation X, the tag ranks were pretty lobsided. I decided to pull the plug on The Titans, partly to balance things out and partly because they were needed elsewhere.

Also, after experiencing first hand how terrible the officiating was at USPW, I decided to do something about it. I signed Eugene Williams to a 15 month written contract to be head referee. When I called Baby Jamie and Robbie Sanchez to the office to fire them, Jamie was completely stunned. It was hilarious. He called me stupid and asked what I'd do without a referee.. I then told him I signed Eugene Williams. I swear he was about to cry. It made my day.

Now that all the firings were complete, and I had my ref I was ready to move on to a few wrestlers. Later in the day I was to meet with Keith Vegas and Sara Marie York.

Wow, really Jay? USPW? Thanks! This is the biggest moment of my life. I wont forget this Jay, thanks!
(We said our goodbyes and he left. I signed him to a PPA deal. I had big plans for Keith Vegas.

Me? Really? That sounds great! I'd love to work with Alicia Strong! Shes so pretty and so talented!
(Is this girl for real? How can anyone be so perky and uplifting? After talking for about an hour about our respective careers before she had left, I came away very impressed. Ive been around the backstage area of wrestling all my life and never met someone quite as nice as her. She'll be huge for locker room morale.)

Since I was in the office anyway, and the roster was set for now, I decided to book my next card.

When I arrived to Centerpiece Bridge, my services were required right away. There was an incident with Anger. I thought it was just a joke, so I gave him a slap on the wrist. It appears the locker room is upset by my decision, nut sure why?

I went and did my rounds, telling everyone what to expect tonight. Everyone was where they should be, and it appeared the show would go off unhitched. Much better than last week. When I walked by Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood pitched an idea to me. Having liked the idea, I decided to ditch the Jumbo Giants tag team before it ever officially started.

Dark Match 1
Captain USA vs Floyd Griffin

I had my friend dominate the disrespectful Captain USA. I made the match as short as possible. Captain USA still complained, even though it was a dark match. What a selfish man not willing to put others over. The two did work exceptionally well together though. Grade: E+

A video plays hyping the matches of Stars, Stripes and Slam. Grade: B-

That had ended the dark segment of the show.

Opening Match
Raven Robinson and Miss Sara vs Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden
Danny: Welcome everyone, to USPW American Wrestling. Tonights show is going to be a great one. Our first match pits womens champion Raven Robinson and the debuting Miss Sara against Cherry Bomb and the dangerous Belle Bryden

Shane: This match should be a good one Danny. Belle Bryden is on a roll and a win here should give her the upper leg on Raven.

The 4 wrestled it out for about 10 minutes before Belle pinned Miss Sara. There wasnt much heat, but the in ring work was great. Miss Sara really impressed in her debut, despite taken the pin. She sold the Dish of the Day exceptionally well. Grade: C-

Political Powers formed
4 men slowly begin to walk to the ring together. Giant Redwood, Anger and Peter Valentine walk side by side while Commissioner Doom walks in front. They finally hit the ring, and Doom grabs a microphone.

Doom: In this ring, stands 3 wrestling legends who demand respect from their peers. They demand respect from the fans. With me by their site, the Political Powers will hold all the USPW gold. To prove how great we are, Anger will win his match tonight in less than 5 minutes.

The 3 wrestlers stand around looking menacing. The crowd is raining boos. What a success, the fans are totally buying them as evil bad guys. Grade: D

2nd Match
Generation X vs Savage Fury

Danny: Here comes the young c0cky team of Generation X. They take on the experienced team of Savage Fury.

Sneer: This Jay kid is on a roll, having picked up a decisive win over Captain American last week. Dont be surprised if they pull an upset here.

Savage Fury did a good job putting us over. Hollywood nailed a few spots and we ended the match with a Generation Gap 8 minutes into it. The crowd wasnt really into it, although they werent completely dead. I had to hurry backstage as I had another skit coming up. Grade: D

Jay Chord Confronts Alicia Backstage

Jay: Way to continue to disgrace the Strong name, Alicia. You didnt even manage to have a match tonight in your dad's fed? You know what you need? You need the Jay motivation. How about you join Generation X?

Alicia: Jay, I would never join you and that jerk. All you two do is go around talking about how great you are.

Thats because we are great, Alicia. And you should be do. We have the bloodlines. Yet you fail to take advantage of it. The offer stands. Grade: D+

Match 3
Anger vs Keith Vegas

Before this match, I approached Anger off camera and in private. Knowing he was one of the most vicious men in wrestling, I offered him a deal.

Anger, if something bad were to happen to Keith Vegas this match, you might be $10,000 richer. (I gave him a little wink and nudge)

That shouldnt be a problem boss. I'd hate for an accident to happen as well, but they happen. He gave me a wink back, we had a deal.)

Danny: Anger has made it a point to squash Vegas tonight. He is being timed and has to finish Vegas off in 5 minutes or less.

Sneer: Anger is just way too big for Keith to have a fighting chance, Danny. This match isnt exactly a challenge.

Anger kicked Vegas to the gut and powerslammed him. When Vegas was on the mat, Anger gave him a stiff elbow drop. Anger picks Vegas up and whips in the rope, grabs him and gives him a viscious spine buster. Vegas looks hurt. Anger than covers for the 1-2-3. The 2 actually worked really well together, they had pretty good chemistry. Grade: E

Match 4
Andre Jones vs Adam Ant
Danny: Well its a rarity, but we are getting two matches back to back. Andre Jones takes on Adam Ant in a non title match.

Sneer: Not sure what Adam Ant expects to accomplish here, hes always the lighter guy in the ring. You have to admire his heart but he has no chance Danny.

I used this match trying to make Andre look formidable. Adam Ant again did a great job selling and the squash match was a success. Grade: D

Justice Demands A Title Shot

Justice storms into Sam Strongs office.

James Justice: Strong, after ending my feud with T-Rex once and for all, I feel I deserve a shot at gold. I want my chance, and Im demanding you give it.

Strong: James, I already promised the winner of Caufield and Giant the next title shot, whether it be against Baine or Enygma. Its even in the contract. I cant help you out. You are going to have to wait until thats all settled.

Im not just going to sit idly by waiting for my shot Strong. Im not getting any younger. If you arent going to give me the shot, I'll force my way into it.

I dont know what you have in mind justice, but if you can get Giant or Caufield to agree to it, then I'll give you the shot at Red, White and Blue! Grade: B

Match 5
Champion Force vs The Towers Of Power

Danny: Here we are back ringside, The Towers of Power are in the ring. (The Champion Force music hits to a gigantic pop) And here comes Champion Force! The Force looks completely pumped Sneer. Who is that with them? Is that.. is that Micky Starr?

Sneer: The crowd is definitely behind this tag team Danny. And with Micky Starr coming out with them, the crowd is louder than usual. But I wouldnt sell The Towers of Power short. They've been around a long time and have incredible experience together.

This match had nice back and forth action and a live crowd. The Force got a lot of offense in to the delight of the fans. Micky Starr did a good job ringside lifting the crowd. The match ended with a full force. Grade: C-

Freddie Datsun down and out

Danny: I just got word someone is laid out backstage, lets take it to the cameras. (Freddy Datsun is on the ground in pain. No one saw the attacker.) It looks like Freddie Datsun wont be able to make it to his match, which is next! Grade: D+

Match 6
Tyson Baine vs The People's Team

Danny: This match was supposed to be between Tyson Baine and The Peoples Team, but it doesnt look like Freddie will be making it to the ring.

Shane: No it doesnt Danny, and Des Davids is just no match for Tyson. This is going to be ugly.

Tyson Baine dominated this match and got in almost all the offense. He called out Enygma after he landed multiple Hades Bombs. Grade: C+

Enygma and Bruce Video
A video plays on screen announcing Enygma and Bruce will be in action next week. Grade: C+

Main Event
Chris Caufield vs T-Rex

Danny: And now its time for the main event. T-Rex looks to recompose himself after a loss to Justice last week, but Caufield looks to gain momentum heading into his match with Bruce The Giant.

Sneer: This should be a good match Danny. T-Rex is really looking to establish himself as a main event and a win over Chris would do that.

This match had good action and a hot crowd. T-Rex took control over, hitting a lot of power moves. As the match wore on, Chris began to take over after he tired down T-Rex. 11 minutes into the match, Chris hit the Danger Drop for the 3 count. Grade: C

Overall Grade C: The show was a success.

I thought I did a better job this week. I also noticed the quality of matches go up thanks to Eugene. My dad always said the easiest ways to improve matches were also the most overlooked. He had respect for good referees, a trait that wore off on me.

The following day at a house show, I had some business to take care of.

First on the list, fire Keith Vegas. I called him into my office and had him sit down.

Look here, Keith. I wasnt impressed with your match at all yesterday and the fact you were upset that you were booked to lose to Anger is too much. Hes Anger!!! You are.. you're you.

Whatever Jay. I had no problem losing to him or even getting squashed. I dont see why you needed to bury me in the process. What was the point in that? It doesnt make Anger look any better?

Are you really arguing with me over this? Look, if you arent willing to do the job then guess what? You're fired. Get lost.

WHAT? You are firing me after 6 days? Just 1 match? Why did you even sign me to begin with? Did you.. Did you sign me just so you could do this? My big shot was a joke? Damn you Jay, I hate you. I'll make you pay for this.

About an hour later, I had Captain USA come to my office since he requested a meeting with me.

USA: Hey Jay, I dont know what your problem is with me, but making me do the job 2 weeks in a row is excessive. I dont mind putting younger guys over, but why are you making me look bad?

You dont mind putting people over? You refused to put me over. Thats why I changed it to a burial!! How dare you insult me? You're too good to lose to Jay Chord? You're like 400 years old. You should do what your told, you are lucky to have a job!

You know what Jay, I retire in a few months anyway. This argument isnt worth it, Im leaving.

He left quietly. He knew he wasnt man enough. I dont know how someone with 0 respect lasted that long. I called it a day and went to my hotel room.

When I arrived to my office the next day an irate Sam Strong was waiting for me. Damn, is he this mad about Captain USA? I knew he was pissed because he never called me anything other than brother.

Jay!! What do you think? Is this all fun and games to you? Are you not taking this job seriously? Do you think this is Jay's $&^$@! playground?

Damn.. I bet it was that @#!^& Keith Vegas. Today is going to be a long day. This is probably going to suck worse than when Rip lays into me about my drinking. Time to think quick Jay. Lets talk our way out of this.

This is just lies boss. Nothing but lies. Vegas is just mad I fired him for not doing the job. He refused to lose to Anger. Anger was upset so he was just a little stiffer than usual. Its just Angers way of getting respect.

You worked with him in MAW Jay, you shouldve known if he had an ego or not. Im not sure Im buying your story but you are lucky there was little proof. The company still took a hit, Im not happy. Narrative: Prestige drops from 65 to 60. Im not exactly happy about Captain USA. The locker room isnt very happy either. USA has been wrestling before you were born and is highly respected by his peers. And this is how you treat him during his retirement run? He had maybe 2 months left and you just use him as a pawn to make yourself look good? You are losing control of the locker room Jay.

Jay, Shut Up! Do you really think Im going to take your word over Captain USA? You need to smarten up or you're going to be fired. You have until the end of the month to improve the locker room area. And next week, you are losing your match, got it? The workers backstage are beginning to wonder if your capable of doing the job.. so do it. Champion Force vs Generation X. And I want you to put them over Jay. That means the two of you are going to get dominated. You got it, boy?

Yes boss. (Damn, when hes pissed he doesnt play around. I hope this blows over fast. Ive got some ideas to improve locker room morale. I set up a meeting for monday and made it manditory. I cant believe these small jokes have come to this...)

Rallying The Troops
Monday had finally arrived. I was to hold a meeting to improve backstage morale. I had talked Sam Strong into hiring a catering service before hand. I showed up at the arena a few hours before the house show ended. I used the time to fire Sheik Mustafa. He wasnt very useful and his attitude sucked. Under the mandate to improve morale, firing him seemed like a no brainer. Actual Game: Sheik hatred of Chord. I had also told Carl Batch to meet me there. With a new vacancy, I offered him a written contract for the year. He accepted. I have big plans to emphasis the backstage area, and Batch makes a perfect interviewer.

After that, I used some time to reflect on my two weeks at the company. I had almost established myself as a midcarder in just 2 matches. The fans have really started to respond to me. Losing next week is going to slow that down a little.

I looked at the changes in personal. Out: The Hillbillys, Captain USA In: Floyd Griffin, Adam Ant-man, and Hollywood Bret Starr. I had successfully replaced 3 guys who were going to retire with talented youth. I had successfully replaced Sheik with Carl Batch, and improved the refereeing. The roster was right where I wanted it. I decided to go with what I had for the foreseeable future. It was finally time to start the meeting.

As you all know, I called you here to discuss the current morale backstage. Its just not acceptable. Me and Sam Strong have discussed what we can do to improve it. The first one isnt going to be popular, but to go along with the old rules of no smoking and no drugs... (I paused for a second, I really hated this rule) alcohol is no longer allowed. You are also going to be required to be here 3 hours before the show. (There was a lot of rumbling) But there is some good news. We will now be offering a masseuse and a chiropractor. USPW will also now pay and organize all your traveling and accomedations. (Sam didnt seem to thrilled about the idea, but the company has been making good money during house shows to more than cover the expenses. The workers however, were loving it. There was a lot of happy chatter in the room.)

And now its time for the big one, one Sam isnt even aware of. I have arranged for Stars Stripes and Slams to be the company's first ever PPV. (This was met with huge applause. It was a huge step for USPW and a great way to make money. Sam was thrilled. I imagine he wont be so thrilled when he sees the $2 million set. This was USPW history, it needed to be special. I ended the meeting on that note.)

I stayed a little while longer, booking 5 matches for the the card this Wednesday.

Tonight at the McGaw Arena

When I arrived, Chris Caufield had a group of people around him. Wondering what it was about, I went over there. He was doing some pretty funny Bruce The Giant impressions, funny enough for even Bruce to laugh. The locker room seemed to be much happier. Without Sheik around, things were looking up.

The crowd seemed pretty lively for the first dark match.

Dark Match
Adam Ant and Freddie Datsun vs Andre Jones and Floyd Griffin

The match was ok and did its job. I wanted Adam Ant and Griffin to keep improving, and putting them in there with Freddie Datsun will only help. The match ended with a Patriot Press, with Datsun pinning Griffin. Grade: D

Dark Angle
Micky Starr does his best job to lift the crowd before the TV opener. He did random things like throw a few tshirts and mention the home sports team. Grade: C

And it was now time to start the show.

The Opener
Alicia Strong vs Cherry Bomb

Danny: Welcome everyone, to a sold out McGaw Arena. In tonights opener, we'll see the lovely Alicia Strong vs Cherry Bomb.

Shane: The Womens division is all the rave in USPW these days Danny. They've really solidified themselves as the companies opener.

The match had action, and the crowd was ok. But this match just didnt seem that good. The biggest pop of the match was for Alicias angel driver, which she hit for the pinfall at 7:14. Grade: D+

Bruce The Giant and Caufield arguing

Bruce: Caufield, in just 4 days, I'll be ending your career. Soon after, I will be wearing gold. There is no one in this industry who can stop the angry Giant.

Chris: You talk a lot of game Bruce, but come Stars, Stripes and Slams, I'll prove its just talk when I pin you, 1..2..3.

James Justice appears on screen

Justice: You know, you two are just lucky. Lucky you arent facing me. I should be next in line for the title, because the 2 of you couldnt beat me!

Tension rises and an all out brawl seems like its going to happen until Strong hits the scene.

Strong: You three have a problem? Settle it in the ring, tonight! Justice vs Giant vs Chris.

The crowd pops. They really got behind this segment. Grade: B

2nd Match
Gen X vs Champion Force

Danny: And here comes the controversial Jay Chord who was in the papers last week. Gen X takes on Champion Force. The winners will go on to face The Peoples Team at SSS.

Shane: Yeah Danny, Jays head seems to be all over the place. Im not sure if his head will be in this match.

The match was almost over before it started. In just under 2 minutes, the match ended with a Full Force as Jim pinned Hollywood. I didnt even manage to make it in the match before it was over. There it was. We did the job. Grade: C-

Alicia laughs at Gen X

Alicia: So Jay, I thought you were going to teach me how to win. Who won their match earlier and who just lost? Disgracing the Chords name.

Jay: You think your funny Alicia? The fact is I didnt disgrace the Chords name. The only thing Im guilty of is picking an incompetent partner. Hollywood looks visably upset but doesnt say anything. Lets go, Bret. We dont need to listen to her. Bret follows. Grade: D

Match 3
Peter Valentine w/doom vs Des Davids for the National Title

Danny: Here comes one of the nastiest men in wrestling defending his title against youngster Des Davids.

Shane: Des is one half of the tag champs. Dont count him out.

The match was a complete dud. Des Davids didnt do a very good job getting squashed. It looks like Adam Ant could have a big role in USPW as cannon fodder. Grade: E+

Belle and Raven Argue Backstage

Belle: You'd better spend a lot of time with the belt the next 4 days Raven. You wont have it much longer. I'll show you why I make the big money in this company. Its because I can carry this division by myself.

Raven: Belle, this belt isnt going anywhere. I worked hard to get the top spot and I'll be damned if I'm going to lose it to the likes of you.

The 2 get in each others faces, but are seperated by Miss Sara. Grade: C-

Match 4
Giant Redwood/w Doom vs Darryl Devine

Danny: Mighty Fine takes on Giant Redwood next!

Shane: I dont see how Mighty Fine stands a chance. Giant is too big.

2 complete duds in a row. The match saw outside interference by Doom, but he accidently hit Redwood instead of Devine. Not a good week for Political Powers. I was told after the match by Sam Strong, that Redwood should never go 7 minutes in a match. Grade D-

Giant lays out Strong

A hostile Giant storms into Strongs office and completely destroys Strong and trashes the place.

Giant: Strong!! You want to put me in a match vs two faces? Are you trying to piss me off? Mission accomplished Strong. I'll show the world what an angry Giant can do.

This was the largest crowd reaction I've heard in USPW since I joined. The amount of noise was insane and the angle was huge. Grade: A

Match 5
Savage Fury vs The Towers of Power

Danny: The Towers of Power are on a bit of a losing streak Shane. They'll look to end it here.

Shane: It'll be a difficult task Danny. The Savage fury are just that, savages.

There wasnt much to say about this match. The Towers of Power seem pretty consistent, so they'll be used as filler a lot. Grade: D+

Political Powers Demand Match

Redwood, Anger and Doom appear in Strongs office

Doom: Sam, we were made fools of earlier today, I want to prove that was just an error. I want Anger and Redwood vs The Peoples Team for the titles at SSS.

Sam: The two of them have never even tagged together and you are demanding a title shot? You want a Political Powers match at SSS? You got one. Peter Valentine vs James Justice. Get out. Grade: C

Semi Main Event
Enygma vs Jumbo Jackson

Danny: 4 days until Enygma defends his belt against Tyson Baine at SSS, here he is against one of the hottest guys in USPW, Jumbo Jackson.

Danny: It gives Tyson a huge advantage to have this week off Danny.

The match had some good action and the crowd was really into it. Enygma was made to look especially strong. In the 12 minute fight, Jumbo may have gotten in 3 minutes of offense. It ended with an Enygma Variation. Sadly, Enygma seemed a bit off his game tonight. Grade: C+

After the match, Tyson Baine and T-Rex came down to the ring and laid a beatdown on Enygma. Jumbo Jackson joined in on the fun. The tv goes to commercial while Enygma is shown down and out. Grade B

The Main Event
Chris Caufield vs Bruce The Giant vs James Justice

Danny: What an amazing match this is going to be Sneer. We have 3 of the biggest names in Wrestling going at in the squared circle.

Shane: It should be a great one Danny. Ive been looking forward to this. The Giant looks angry, but Justice and Caufield wont go down without a fight.

The fight started out with Caufield and Justice working together against Bruce The Giant. When they finally got him off his feet, Justice turned his attention to Caufield and threw him out of the ring. Focusing back on the Giant, working his legs. Justice went for the cover, but the count was broken up by Caufield. The 2 continue to go at it, when out of no where, Caufield hits the danger drop. Just as he goes for the cover, Bruce appears and gives him the Giant Chokeslam. He picks up the 1,2,3.

I had originally intended for James Justice to win, but Bruce was using his creative control to block the fight, even if it was Chris taking the pin. Even with that, it ended up being the best match I booked to date. Grade: B

Overall Grade: C+

Live at the Dustbowl Arena

I arrived 2 hours before the show was supposed to start. I had booked what I believed to be a solid card. I decided not to wrestle tonight, but I'd be one of the few not in the ring. It was an action packed card from top to bottom. Before the show, Java had everyone play EWR to see who could book the best match with the old DaVE roster. He won with a B rated card. It was now time to start the dark segments of the show.


Dark Time
The Battle Royale
The final 4 wrestlers in the match were Danny Rushmore, Mick Muscles, Darryl Devine and Jumbo Jackson. We were soon down to Rushmore and Jumbo, with Jumbo getting the upperhand. The crowd seemed to enjoy it, without getting too involved. Grade D

The PPV Hype Angle

Danny: Welcome, everyone to a sold out Dustbowl. Tonights first match places the womens champion, Raven Robinson against the sexy Belle Bryden for the title. We are joined ringside by Alicia Strong, all night.

Shane: Thats right Danny, lucky us. The womens division continues to be the opener for USPW. They continue to impress every match with their performances. Who wins this match Alicia?

Alicia: I'd have to go with Belle boys. She looks determined, and has been on a hot streak. Raven is the champion though, she has the skills to get it done!

The match was solid. It started off with Belle getting in all the offense, and going for an early pin. After the 2 minute mark, it was pretty much back and forth until Robinson hit the Night faller 11 minutes into the match. Like always, the women put on a respectable match. Grade: C

Champion Force vs The People's Team

USPW Tag Team Title

Danny: And here we go, for the Tag Titles its Champion Force vs The People's Team.

Shane: Both of these teams are pretty inexperienced, Danny. Id have to give the edge to Champion Force because of Jim.

Alicia: I'd have to agree Danny. Nicky Champion is a future star and The Force already is one. They are a force to be reckoned with.

The match was your standard affair until around the 8 minute mark.

Danny: And he just hit the Full Force! We are going to have new tag team champions. The Force goes for the pin and 1.2.. oh no, oh no! Giant Redwood and Anger attack The Force.

Doom: Strong, if you wont give us a chance to win the titles, we wont allow anyone to have a chance.

The crowd was full of boos, especially for Giant Redwood. Champion Force had won by DQ, but fail to win the belts. Grade: C+

Shady Dealings
In a very dark part of the arena, I stood there with T-Rex. We were going to turn the real life scandal into a wrestling bit.

Jay: Hey, T-Rex, come over here. I got an interesting proposition for you.

T-Rex: What do you want, Jay. Im listening.

I get close to T-Rex and whisper a bunch of jibberish in his ear as the camara slowly zooms out. Grade: D+

Danny: I wonder what that Jay kid is up to now Shane. Next match is Miss Sara vs Cherry Bomb, the winner will take on Raven Robinson this Wednesday!

Shane: Jay is obviously up to no good Danny. Hes caused nothing but controversy since arriving.

Alicia: I'll be back guys, I just got word my dad wants to see me.

The match was pretty solid for what it was. I used it to fill time and to cool off the crowd before the main events hit. There was still a lot of time, dont need a burned out crowd. Grade: C-

Strong: Its the TV title Andre, not the PPV title. You want a match? You'll get one this Wednesday. I wont tell you against who, but it'll be for your title. Grade: B-

Outside the office, theres a huge bang. It looks like Alicia Strong has been laid out. But by who? At least we know it wasnt Sam or Andre. Grade: C-

Danny: It looks like Alicia wont be rejoining us tonight. I hope shes ok. In the ring is Peter Valentine, who will be facing James Justice.

Shane: And here comes James to a huge ovation. He wants a title shot, and a win here will only help.

The two just looked awkward out there together. No chemistry at all. After 10 minutes into the match, Justice won with a Liberation slam. The crowd was starting to come to life. Grade: C-

#1 Contender Match

Danny: This is the match a lot of people have been waiting for Sneer. The man with the biggest heart takes on the biggest man. Bruce has been bulldozing his way through everyone, and looks to prove a point to Enygma or Baine.

Shane: He better not overlook Chris, or he wont even get that far.

Bruce The Giant refused to lose to Chris. So I only had one choice and that was to give Bruce the victory. It was a heated battle where the workers were told to call it in match and work the crowd. They definitely succeeded at getting the crowd popping for the main event. Grade: B-

Enygma Vs Tyson Baine
For the
USPW World Title

Danny: And its the match we've all been waiting for. The Main Event! Tyson Baine takes on Enygma for the World Title.

Shane: Thats right Danny, this should be match of the year material here. One of the biggest fights in USPW history.

And that it was. The two workers had great chemistry. The wrestlers went all out for 15 minutes. Tyson Baine hit a Hades Bomb that Enygma managed to barely kick out of. Soon after, Enygma hit his varation, but it wasnt enough. The 2 rumbled for another 2-3 minutes before Enygma hit a second varation for the 3 count. Grade: B

Having won the match, Enygma begins to celebrate when out of nowhere Bruce The Giant appears. He completely destroys Enygma as the cameras go off air, with him towering over his flattened foe. Grade: A

The show was a huge success and my best one to date. The backstage area was buzzing after the event. It really improved the morale backstage.

The next day during the house show, I sat down in my office looking at where things stood. I had ended all 3 storylines that were in place before I took over and had started a few others.

I had Bruce The Giants feuding against Enygma, which had me worried. I knew Bruce wouldnt lose to Enygma after he solidified himself as one of the top heels in wrestling last night. I also had James Justice involved, looking for his title shot.

The storyline I had going with Alicia Strong was alive and well. Its slowly picked up heat, but the huge payoff wont be until later down the road. I also had Cherry Bomb going after Raven for the title. The Tag team division was looking as strong as ever, especially with the debuting Anger/Redwood team that would be gold.. until of course Anger knocked on my door.

Anger: Hey Jay, I need to speak to you. As you know Im not getting any younger and Im 21 years past my prime. Im going to hang them up in a month or so.

So ended the push of The Political Powers Tag Team. I also had no idea what to do with Anger after he retired. USPW doesnt need any more road agents with Strong, Doom and Mickey Starr. And lets face it, Anger isnt the most charasmatic guy, he wouldnt do well in a managers roll. But I'd worry about that when the time came. Now what to do with Giant Redwood...

Having fired The Hillbillys, and killing off The Titans, I knew I needed another menacing tag team, preferably one with good entertainment skills and star quality. I made a few phone calls, and afterwards I wrote down my card.

Prior to the show starting, there was an incident involving Anger, again. This time the whole locker room was pissed off at him. Announcing his retirement and then pulling a stunt like this? I decided enough was enough, he'd be retiring soon anyway and I'd have no use for him as yet another road agent. I would fire him after the show.

Other that the Anger incident, everything went off as planned.

It was time to start the dark portion of our show.

Dark Match
Savage Fury Vs Towers of Power Vs Starr and Griffin

Griffin and Starr were in the match to make the others looks good. The Towers of Power won the match in convincing fashion as they look to reestablish themselves without Shane Sneer. Grade: D+

After the tag team match, the show was underway.

Justice confronts Enygma in the ring

Justice: Enygma, I saw you win the title in convincing fashion a few days ago against Tyson Baine, just to get destroyed by Bruce The Giant. I have a proposition for you. If you give me a title match after your shot with Giant, I will make sure there are no more surprise attacks by the big man.

Enygma: Thats a good offer Justice, but I dont need help from anyone. And I definitely dont need protection from Bruce. Hes just a coward for attacking me after a long match with Baine.

Bruce The Giant then enters the building and walks down to the arena.

Bruce: You two can form any alliance you want, the fact is you still cant beat the Giant. I am a one man alliance, and will destroy anyone in my path to get the World Title back.

Bruce then surprise attacks both wrestlers, and delivers dual Giant chokeslams. He stands tall over his 2 opponents. Grade: B+

Match 1
Alicia Strong vs Belle Bryden

Danny: Here we are Shane, Made In America from the Laurent Ballroom. Alicia Strong is back from her attack at SSS, and is ready to take on Belle Bryden.

Shane: Alicia has something to prove Danny. She seems to have a new found determination.

The match opened to a pretty good crowd and had good work in ring. Alicia won it with the Angel Driver 10 minutes in. Grade: C

Jay Chord and Alicia argue backstage

Jay: So I see you won your 2nd match in a row. It looks like the Jay Chord motivation worked.

Alicia: Jay, my wins have nothing to do with you and everything to do with me. Im perfectly capable of winning without your "motivation lessons." Get lost.

Jay: Look here Alicia. You didnt start winning until I called you out on losing. You better respect me, you understand?

Chris Caufield is close by and overhears the argument.

Chris: Jay, you want to talk about respect? You have no respect for anyone in this business. How about I show you a lesson in respect right now, in the squared circle?

Jay: You want a match with me? You got it. Grade: D+

Match 2
Chris Caufield vs Jay Chord

Danny: Here comes that young punk Jay Chord down to the ring. Hes going to get his mouth shut by Chris Caufield, Shane.

Shane: I dont know Danny, Jay Chord is extremely talented. This isnt going to be a walk in the park for either wrestler.

This match really got the crowd going. I started it off getting in all the offense for the first 2 minutes. At that point I went for the Super DDT but it was reversed when he flipped me over his back. At that point Chris took charge of the match, and at the 7 minute mark hit me with the Danger Drop. It was the first time I've been pinned in USPW. Grade: C+

The Political Powers Backstage

Doom, Valentine and Redwood are shown watching a TV backstage, watching Anger as hes ready to take on Darryl Devine. Grade: D+

Match 3
Anger vs Darryl Devine

Danny: Welcome back to ringside action, next we have the menacing Anger taking on rising star Darrly Devine.

Shane: Anger is not a happy man Danny. I wouldnt want to be Darryl right now.

The match was a complete disaster. There was no heat and the in ring action was decent at best. Anger got in the majority of the offense before Darryl Devine won with a roll up from out of nowhere for the quick 1-2-3. Anger looks visably upset and storms out of the ring. Grade: D-

T-Rex shows off

T-Rex is shown crushing beer cans with his head backstage as Raven Robinson and Miss Sara look on.

T-Rex: Watch this ladies, let me show you what a man can do.

Miss Sara: (rolls her eyes) Not interested, T-Rex. The roids and bald head dont do it for me.

Raven: (laughing) Yeah Sara, lets leave this loser alone. Grade: C+

Match 4
Andre Jones Vs Des Davids
for the
USPW TV Title

Danny: Andre Jones was upset he wasnt on the PPV. Look for him to make short work out of Des Davids.

Shane: If he tries to make short work out of the athletic freak, Des Davids, hes going to find himself without a belt.

The match had an average crowd and some decent action. Des Davids hit a few moves showing off his strength and athleticism, but ultimately Andre Jones was just too much for him. Jones was the winner at the 5:30 mark with a Blast from the Past. Grade: D+

Carl Batch Sneaks around backstage

Carl Batch: Cameras, follow me. What we just saw was Cherry Bomb walk into Sam Strongs office. Lets listen on from outside the door. Be quiet!

Cherry: Sam, as you know, I have a title shot with Raven Robinson at Red, White and Blue. But I dont want to wait that long. I want a piece of her now!

Strong: Ok Cherry. Next week, You vs Raven vs Wanda Fish in a non title match. If you can get ahold of her, go for it. Grade: B-

Semi Main Event
Nicky Champion vs Jumbo Jackson

Danny: We are approaching the end of the card Shane. The 2nd last match of the night has Nicky Champion facing off against Jumbo Jackson.

Shane: Thats right Danny, Nicky is going solo tonight as his partner has a match against Tyson Baine later.

The match had a good crowd and good action. Jumbo Jackson didnt get much offense in as I was trying to put Nicky over as a credible Main Eventer. He hit the Hawkeye hammer around 10 minutes into the match. Grade: C-

Main Event
Tyson Baine vs The Force

Danny: And here we are, its time for the main event. Tyson Baine is coming off a huge loss to Enygma, failing to win the title. His opponent tonight is The Force who is riding a huge wave of momentum.

Shane: Tyson Baine is out here to prove a point Danny. But you can never count out The Force! This match is going to be an unpredictable mess.

The Force and Baine battle it out for a good 13-14 minutes. The Force even hit his Force Slam, only to have Tyson Baine kick out. A few minutes later, The Force went for a flying elbow, but was caught in midair by Tyson Baine, who delivered the Hades Bomb for the win. Grade: C

After the match, Tyson continued to attack The Force. He grabbed the steel chair and put The Forces leg into it, looking to injur the wrestler. As he was about to attack, Nicky Champion hit the ring in the nick of time to save his partner from certain doom. Baine leaves the ring, unamused. It looks like its the start of a rivalry. Grade: C+

After the show, I had to take care of some business backstage, which included firing Anger. I knew that wouldnt go over well, but it had to be done. His impending retirement really threw a wrench into my plans for The Political Powers and now I'd have to find someone to replace him, or scrap the idea all together.

Anger: What do you want Jay? I want to take a shower and go out drinking. Make this quick.

Jay: Quick? ok. You're fired. All that crap you are pulling backstage even though you are retiring soon? Unacceptable. Dont think you'll get a free ride until retirement Anger. You saw me fire Captain USA. And now youve witnessed me firing you! Get out.

Anger: You punk! You no good.. you'll regret this Jay. Im one of the biggest names in wrestling, I carry this company. USPW will sink without me.

Sara York: Jay, may I speak to you?

If it was anyone else, I probably tell them to get lost. I just wanted to go home, but shes just way too nice to blow off. I decided to hear her out, I couldnt say no.

Jay: What do you want Sara?

Sara: Well, I heard you just fired Anger. Thats the 2nd guy youve fired close to retirement. The locker room talks Jay, and while no one really cares about Anger, we see a pattern forming. What happens when Freddie Datsun retires? Or Giant Redwood? Or.. ( I cut her off)

Jay: As long as they arent causing constant problems backstage, Sara, nothing will happen to them. Im not looking to fire the geriatic crew just for my own amusement.

Sara: Be nice, Jay. You'll be old one day too. You need to grow up a little and respect your elders.

Im not sure why I didnt go off on her, telling me to grow up! The audicity.. yet I couldnt bring myself to yell. She had some sort of mind power over me. What a drag. We talked for another 30-40 minutes before she left. She was telling me about all the rumblings backstage and I really appreciated it. Sara might not be a huge part of USPWs on screen success, but she was quite possibly the biggest influence backstage short of Chris Caufield. Now that she left and the arena was empty, I went to my hotel room, knowing I'd have a busy week ahead of me.

February 1st, the New Month

The following Monday, at a house show, I used the time in the office to meet up with a few wrestlers. I knew the Tag Team division needed some new life, and with Anger screwing up my plans, I had to go outside the company to accomplish this. I didnt know who to sign at first. Grunt and Stink? They were somewhat menacing, and pretty over. Yet they didnt have much star quality and were beyond terrible in the ring. I kept looking, and finally hit the jackpot. These 2 were menacing, loaded with star quality, and solid all around workers. Even though they werent over, and I worried how the smaller of the two would fit into USPW, I decided these were the 2 guys I wanted.

Jay: Hey Umaga, Bali. Why dont you two take a seat? I brought you in today to offer you a job to USPW. I need 2 menacing heels to add to the tag team ranks, and I also feel you two have what it takes to be singles stars. While Im not sure how Balis style will fit into USPW, I know Umagas is perfect. What do you two say?

The two talk amongst themselves for a few minutes, before Bali addresses me.

Bali: We are listening, what are the terms? We are sick of working week to week for paychecks. We want something long term, with gauranteed money. We are thinking 3 years for $3k each.

Jay: 2 years

Bali: deal!

With that, they had left the office. I was going to repackage the two as Monsters, and rename them The Islanders, Umaga and Bali. I was very happy with how it all played out (and greatful for having an 8 in negotiation skills). Bali was quite possibly the most talented worker on the roster, with Umaga being in the top 5. It was a huge day for USPW talentwise. They wouldnt be joining the active roster in time for Wednesdays show, but should be available on the 10th.

I was stuck in the office for the next few hours, so I decided to use the time to evalute the roster, and see if anyone needed to be pushed or depushed.

Bruce The Giant once again became a national icon (A pop) in the USA, with Enygma (B+) on the verge of becoming one himself. James Justice and Tyson Baine (both Bs) were both massively over. Nicky Champion (C+) was the last main eventer, easily the youngest of the 5 but the least over. I was planning on building up his fame by putting him in a feud against Baine.

The upper midcard was solid with a bunch of guys in their lower 30s and the young Andre Jones (C-). Caufield (C+) was easily the most over of the bunch, and could be a credible ME if needed. T-Rex (C) was 2nd in line, while Jumbo Jackon, and the Force (both C-) resided at the bottom.

The midcard wasnt pretty, and partly why I had been using the women as the "true midcard." Outside of Freddy Datsun and Peter Valentine (both C-), there was a huge drop off in name value. We had the Towers of Power, Darryl Devine and Des Davids all lumped together (D pop), with myself a step behind (D-)

The rest of the workers were all has beens or prospects, from Giant Redwood and Savage Fury to Ant-man and Floyd Griffin. No one in the lower card appeared ready for a push, except for the just signed Islanders.

The Womens Division was the pride and glory of USPW, and what really seperated us from the likes of SWF and TCW. Alicia Strong (C-) was the headliner, even though I was careful to keep the belt off her. Cherry Bomb, Belle Bryden and Raven Robinson (D) were just as over as anyone in the midcard, and Sara York (D-) on the verge of being there herself.

In just one month, it looks like the roster was much improved and the cards were getting better and better. It would be an interesting February.

I had also heard Fuyoku Higa turned pro, and while I knew she was loyal to 5SSW, I would do my due dillegence and offer a contract anyway. I crossed my fingers hoping she would sign, although I figured it would take an act of God for her to sign here.

Wednesday finally arrived, and Danny Jillefski brought us a lot of free alcohol. What a man, what a visionary. Free alcohol for me. Of course we have that stupid backstage rule thanks to Sam Strong. Enough venting, its time for the show.

Dark Match
Savage Fury vs Giant Redwood and Jumbo Jackson

The match played to an average crowd and was actually decent in ring. While it was nothing spectacular, it managed not to totally kill the crowd and kept 4 workers in shape. Grade D+

It was now time for the tv show.

Justice and Enygma demand a match

Justice: Strong, after last weeks beat down, I demand a match with Bruce The Giant. I want my revenge and I want it now.

Enygma: I dont think so Justice. This is the 2nd show in a row hes surprised attacked me. Bruce wants the belt so bad, lets have the match now. I want Bruce! I want him to feel the Enygma!

Sam: Well, it looks like we have a problem here. Both of you want Bruce. Lets settle this problem. You two face Bruce The Giant and whoever he picks as a partner, tonight in the main event. Grade: B+

Opener
Raven Robinson vs Belle Bryden vs Cherry Bomb

Danny: Here we are from Irvine Hall. Our first match is about to get underway. It consists of the lovely Raven, Belle and Cherry Bomb.

Sneer: Thats right Danny, and this is a non title match. Cherry has a lot to prove to Raven, and this is her chance to do it.

The match wasnt nearly as good as I had hoped. In fact, it was the worst womens match to date. Cherry Bomb was victorious after pinning Belle Bryden, with Raven Robinson out cold after she took a body drop outside of the ring. Grade: D+

Match 2
The Force vs Danny Rushmore

Danny: The Force and Nicky are in singles action tonight against Danny and Mick. Here is the first of two matches. I like The Force in this one Shane, how about you?

Sneer: Obviously The Force, Danny. I heard he has a power level of over 9000!

What a terrible match this was. It was just doomed from the beginning due to having absolutely horrible chemistry. I called for the fight to end earlier than planned, it was that bad. Jim Force won with a full force. Grade: D-

Bruce The Giant finds a partner

Carl Batch: It's Carl Batch here. Im backstage, and Ive got an exclusive scoop. Over there stand the mighty Bruce The Giant, and T-Rex. Now be quiet as we zoom in to listen.

Bruce: T-Rex, I need a partner for tonights match. I need a man who is powerful and can cause a hurting on Enygma. I need T-Rex. What do you say?

T-Rex: You got yourself a partner. I wouldnt mind getting my hands on James Justice and getting my revenge for last months loss. Grade: C+

Match 3
Gen X vs The People's Team
For The
USPW Tag Team Title

Danny: Wow, T-Rex and Bruce teaming up tonight. Thats a half ton of raw man power Danny. This next tag team match, the 4 wrestlers might weight 1000 lbs all together, as Gen X takes on The People's Team.

Shane: And its for the USPW Tag Team titles. Jay Chord is one of the fast rising stars of the company, and Hollywood has the bloodline of legends. We may be looking at new champions here!!

At the beginning of the match, me and Hollywood kept Des Davids in the ring for the first 3-4 minutes. We wore him down in normal tag team fashion, and then he made the hot tag to Freddie Datsun. Datsun cleaned house for awhile, until out of nowhere I hit the Super DDT...

Danny: And Jay hits the Super DDT from out of nowhere. We could have new champions here. He goes for the pin.. but whats this? The referee is distracted by Alicia Strong. Jay looks annoyed and very upset at the ref, wait a second..!! Freddie Datsun rolls him up and 1..2..3! Wow, what a shocking turn of events. Grade: D+

Chord and Alicia Drama backstage

I left the ring quickly because I had another angle backstage with Alicia.

Jay Chord: Alicia, what the hell was that about? You just cost me the tag team titles. What the hell is wrong with you?

Alicia: Jay, I know you had something to do with me being attacked at SSS, and I know it was T-Rex who did it. All I was doing was getting sweet, sweet revenge.

Jay: I'll show you sweet sweet rev..

Sam Strong leaves his office and sees us in a heated debate

Strong: Is there a problem here Alicia? Jay?

Jay: No problem at all Sam, I was just leaving. Grade: C+

Match 4
Peter Valentine vs Darryl Devine
For The
USPW National Title

Danny: I dont think we've seen the last of Jay Chord and Alicia Strong Shane. Those 2 are developing a huge hatred of each other. But lets return to the in ring action, where Peter Valentine puts up his belt vs Darryl Mighty Fine Devine.

Sneer: Peter isnt in a very good mood Danny. He looks to avenge the loss his friend Anger took last week. Anger was so upset about the loss he just up and quit. I wouldnt want to be Darryl tonight.

The two wrestlers really flowed well together, they had some good chemistry. Peter Valentine successfully won his title with a heartbreak around the 8 minute mark, but Darryl Devine looked especially strong in the match. Grade: D+

Chris Caufield and Miss Sara Chat Backstage

Caufield: (Looking at papers) This looks like a great idea to improve morale around here Sara. One day you are going to be a locker room leader organizing events like these.

Sara: You really think so Chris? Thanks a bunch. A future champ and future locker room leader, sounds good to me!

Andre Jones is off to the side looking on, before he approaches the two.

Andre: You? Future champ? Girl you arent going to win anything, and neither is this washed up has been next to you. Hes the past, Im the future, and you.. youre a nobody.

Caufield: You calling me washed up? How about me and you, next week for the TV title?

Andre: Wha?? The Title? Umm.. no no. You have to earn a shot at the title. You cant just demand a title shot. What is wrong with you?

Caufield: I see you are a coward, how about a non title shot just so I can beat your punk ass?

Andre: What? You callin me a punk? You're on! Grade: C

Semi Main Event
Nicky Champion vs Mick Muscles

Danny: And here is the other half. We saw The Force take on Danny earlier, with the Force picking up a quick win. Will Nicky be able to match his partners success vs Mick Muscles?

Shane: I'd imagine so Danny. I just cant see Mick Muscles stopping the run Nicky is on.

And he didnt. Nicky Champion won the match easily, around the 8 minute mark. He dominated the match for almost the entire thing, as I continued to build up his credibility to make him a legit main eventer. Grade: C

Baine Attacks

After the match, Tyson Baine comes from out of the audience and power slams an unexpecting Nicky Champion. He then delivers the Hades Bomb.

Baine: Nicky, I suggest you dont stick your face in my business. I dont care if The Force is your tag team partner. I had business to take care of and you wouldnt let me.

He then hits Nicky with a second Hades Bomb. Grade: B

The Main Event
Bruce The Giant and T-Rex vs Justice and Enygma

Danny: And its finally time for the main event, and what a main event it is. In quite possibly the biggest tag team ever, Bruce and T-Rex face the tandem of Enygma and Justice. What are your thoughts on this one Shane?

Shane: Its an impossible one to predict Danny. But I'll never bet against the Giant. Hes just too big, too powerful.

This match was great, from the in ring action to the amount of heat from the crowd. Bruce The Giant dominated from the offset while T-Rex looked on. After a tag to T-Rex, the strategy of Justice and Enygma changed. Enygma quickly got the upperhand on T-Rex while Justice distracted Bruce on the outside. Back in the ring, Enygma hit the variation on T-Rex and won the match. Bruce The Giant was willing to lose this one, as long as T-Rex got pinned. It should have helped Enygma come closer to national icon status. Grade: B

Overall Grade: B

What a TV show. It was easily the best USPW Made In America to date. I was surprised at how well received it was, considering the opener was a snooze fest. The Main Event made the card.

It was Monday when I heard back from Fuyoko Higa, she had turned down my offer to meet with her for a contract. What a bitch! Why would anyone turn down an offer to work in the same promotion as the great Jay Chord? She must be insane, luckily she turned the offer down.

Bali and Umaga also officially joined the roster and would be debuting this Wednesday.

This was just your random squash match with Darryl Devine picking up the win at the 5:32 mark with a dream drop. Grade: D+

Sam: Peter, I just got a call from some of the sponsers. I need to leave the show. Im leaving you in charge, got it?

Valentine: Sure thing boss. I'll make it a great show, dont you worry about a thing. Grade: B-

Belle Bryden vs Miss Sara

(I figured Danny and Sneer didnt add much, so Im going to just have them comment when its a story plot)

Belle and Sara fought to a pretty hot crowd and the match had solid ring work. At 8 minutes, Belle won with the Dish of the Day. Grade: C-

Cherry and Raven fight backstage

Carl Batch: Here we are backstage, where theres some drama about to start. Lets listen on.

Cherry: Raven, at Red, White and Blue Im taking that belt. I won the match last week easily. You stand no chance.

Raven: Lets wait til Red, White and Blue to see who has no chance, Cherry. This belt is mine and its not going anywhere.

The two begin to fight backstage, but are broken up by event security. Grade: C

Match 2
Savage Fury vs The Islanders (debut)

The Islanders made a very impressive debut and managed to carry Savage Fury to a pretty decent tag match. Bali looked especially great, even though the fans seemed to like Umaga better. The two could be big stars in USPW if built right. Bali won the match with an unbreakable sleeper. Grade: D+

The Political Powers recruiting

Doom: Hey Jumbo. As you know, Anger retired 2 weeks ago and we havent replaced them. We are looking for a few big men, what do you say?

Redwood: (puts an arm around Jumbo) We've had a few tag matches the past month or so, and together we could win tag team gold.

Jumbo: Gold around my waist does seem pretty appealing. Im in. Grade: D

Match 3
Hollywood Brett Star vs Ant-man

Hollywood made his singles debut today, and picked up the quick win vs Ant-man. Unfortunately the match sucked.. bad. Probably the worst match I had booked to date. Hollywood needs to step it up, or he wont be worthy of tagging with the Great Jay Chord. Grade: E

Jay Chord approaches Peter Valentine

Jay: Peter, I want a match tonight. I can already see the headlines, its a blockbuster. The legendary Jay Chord vs The Immortal Alicia Strong. And the winner takes on Andre Jones next week for the TV title.

Valentine: You want to fight Alicia Strong? I.. I.. I LOVE IT!! You got it, Jay. Grade: C

Batch interviews Nicky Champion

Batch: The last few weeks, Tyson Baine has been a thorn in the side of the Champion Force. Last week he attacked you unprovoked and out of nowhere. How do you feel about that?

Nicky: I feel mad, Carl. Very mad. That Tyson Baine is too much of a coward to stand face to face with me in the ring. He always has to resort to sneak attacks. He did the same exact thing with Enygma. Tyson Baine is just a thug who has to resort to dirty tactics to get an upperhand, rather than actual talent. When me and him get in the squared circle, I'll be the one getting their hand raised. Grade: C+

Match 4
The Towers of Power vs Champion Force

Nicky Champion really took control of this match, continuing to build his momentum and credibility. The Force also got in some offence vs Mick Muscles. Champion won the match at the 9 minute mark with a Hawkeye Hammer. Grade: D+

T-Rex hits on Seduction

T-Rex: Hey baby, why dont I show you what a real man can do? You've been hanging around with the little boy too long. Its time you get with the T-Bone steak if you get my drift.

Seduction: T-Rex, you are a pig. Watch your mouth around a lady. Get lost.

Darryl Devine then enters the scene.

Darryl: Whats going on here? T-Rex, are you bothering my lady?

T-Rex: (Throws a fake punch at Darryl Devine) HAHA, thats what I thought. Get out of my way, little boy. Seduction, Im not done with you yet! Grade: C-

Alicia Strong Vs Jay Chord

The match was incredibly hot and I was getting a lot of heat. The match started and we actually had really good chemistry in the ring. I was shocked how easy it was to work with her. She gave me a kick to the groin, ran into the ropes and tried to do the cross body splash but I caught her in mid air. I gave her a vicious bodyslam and picked her up. I then set her up for the Super DDT and spiked her right on the head. I wasnt done yet though, I nailed 2 more super ddts on her and had her set up for the Cradle Piledriver when..

Danny: This Jay Chord is a sick sick man. Hes looking to end Alicias career tonight. Oh no, another super ddt. Jay just pin her already.

Shane: Oh no, oh no. Hes setting her up for the cradle Piledriver. Dont do it Jay.

Danny: Wait, what is this.. Its Micky Starr coming to the rescue. Get him Micky.

Micky entered the ring and came after me with a full head of steam. He quickly established the upperhand but I quickly reversed one of his moves into the super ddt. I then picked him up, and nailed the Cradle Piledriver on the old sack of bones. The crowd was just raining boos. Wow. The Jay Chord era was in full force. Soon I would solidify myself as one of the top heels in USPW. I won the match via DQ. As Alicia laid lifeless on the mat, I kissed her right on the lips and left the ring.

Semi Main Event
Tyson Baine vs Freddie Datsun

Tyson Baine took control of this match early on and never let up. It was intended to make Tyson look like a viscious monster. He hit power move after power move until nailing the Hades Bomb 8 minutes into the match. Grade: C

James Justice Talks to the Crowd

Justice: Giant, last week, Me and Enygma ended your terrorizing reign on USPW when we successfully beat you and T-Rex. With that victory, I think I have established myself as the top contender. You cant beat me Giant, theres no reason you should have the title shot.

Bruce: (Bruce's music hits and he starts to walk down the aisle) Oh really Justice? I cant beat you? Lets see, right here, right now.

Before he could get to the ring, Enygma attacks him from behind with a steel chair and lays him out. Justice looks on smiling.

Justice: Hows it feel to get a taste of your own medicine Giant? Me and Enygma have agreed to watch each others back until we can meet in the ring for the World Title! Grade: A

The Main Event
Chris Caufield vs Andre Jones (non title match)

After last weeks drama between the 2 wrestlers, they were about to settle their differences in the ring. Caufield was accompanied by Miss Sara who Andre had called a loser the week before. The match saw a lot of twists and turns, including Andre Jones hitting his blast from the past. However, he was too weak to go for the pinfall. Both wrestlers were down and the ref started to count to 10. Caufield was the first to his feet, followed closely by Andre. Caufield quickly grabbed Andre, and hit the danger drop at the 11 minute mark for the win. Grade: C+

Overall Grade: C+

I was meeting with Andre Jones soon for a possible extension. I looked at the other contracts and realized Raven Robinson, Darryl Devine, Tribal Warrior, T-Rex and Mick Muscles would need to be reupped soon as well. I wasnt quite sure if I would be resigning everyone. Darryl Devine, Raven and T-Rex seemed like a lock and Mick Muscles was a strong possibility, but with the Islanders now aboard, I wondered if Savage Fury was overkill. It left 3 Samoan monsters on USPW. But I figured it'd be best to wait it out and see the contract figures before making my mind up.

It was time to meet with Andre Jones now.

Jay: Have a seat, Andre.

Andre: Will do. So lets can the small talk and get to business. This is what Im asking for.

Jay: (He handed me a piece of paper and I looked it over.. $10,000 and another midcard title run, he wanted to be paid as much as T-Rex, Nicky Champion and Chris Caufield) Ok, bye.

Andre: Bye? What is that supposed to mean? You are going to look it over and think about it or what?

Jay: I mean Im not signing you. You want Chris Caufield money. You couldnt hold Caufields jockstrap. Not only that but you want another title run when you have the title? I dont think so. Have fun getting that money anywhere. SWF already let you go and you arent TCW material. Have fun main eventing for MAW or NYCW. If you decide to come down on your demands, you know where I am.

Andre: %#&^ you Jay. You dont think Im worth Caufield money? Hes just an old washed up has been. Im one of the few youngsters on the card, and besides that.. I've had the TV title for over 2 months now. Im a star.

Jay: You're dilusional. But it doesnt matter Andre, Sam Strong said I cant offer more than 9.5k. And you arent even willing to do home shows. Its best if you just leave now.

He stormed out of the office, pretty pissed off. It doesnt look like he'll be back in USPW. Maybe he'd have accepted a PPA deal, but Andre seems like too much of a mercenary to accept. I now had 3 more TV shows to get the TV title off of Andre before he'd leave the company.

I arrived to the arena 3 hours before the show. Everyone was already there, I was apparently the last to arrive, albiet on time. The atmosphere has gotten a lot better around here with the likes of Redwood and Valentine taking control. The matches were now underway.

Dark Match
Floyd Griffin and Hollywood Starr vs The Towers of Power

Typical opener. Nothing surprising happened here, and the 2 teams had a pretty nondescript match. Floyd Griffin looked rather impressive, but Hollywood continues to disappoint. Grade: D

Danny, Batch and Sneer kick off the show

Danny: Here we are at Shakeshift. We have a great show for you tonight, with Enygma and Justice in action. The TV title is also on the line as Andre Jones takes on Jay Chord.

Sneer: Thats right Danny, and there will be hell to pay for Chord. Tonight Sam Strong is in the building and hes going to address what happened last week.

After last weeks loss to me, I needed to build up Alicias credibility again. I had her dominate this match, and she pinned Belle with an angel driver around the 7 minute mark. The crowd was hot and really behind Alicia. Grade: C-

Tyson Baine in the Ring

Baine: Enygma, Justice, all I hear you two do is run your mouth about Bruce. You are lucky Im not after you. I have a new determination to destroy everyone who stands in my path. I will beat both of you, if it gets me the title. In fact, Im calling you both out here now. I'll show the world I can destroy you both!!

The 2 men appear from the gorilla position, and the crowd goes nuts. As they are walking down the aisle, they are attacked from behind by The Islanders. Tyson Baine comes in to join in on the fun and the 3 completely destroy Justice and Enygma.

Baine: And The Peoples Team, I'd be very afraid. At this weekends PPV, you take on these very Islanders for the title. Oh, and Nicky Champion, you take on me!

Danny: Wow, Shane. I cant believe what we just saw. That was one of the most vicious attacks we've seen on USPW. These 2 Samoans are deadly.

Sneer: You can say that again. These 2 could be going places, and fast.

I had originally planned to let Andre win this fight, but since he was a little bitch and didnt resign with USPW, I needed to take the title off him and use him to get other guys over. Who better than to hold the title and gain pop than Jay Chord? I dominated the match from the get go and even hit the deadly Cradle Piledriver. What an awesome match, I carried him to quality. Grade: D+

Strongs Office

Strong: Jay, Peter. Sit down. What happened last week is unacceptable. Peter, I dont see how you could let him make that match. But thats nothing compared to what you did Jay. What kind of man are you to ddt someone 100 lbs lighter than you? And a 60 year old man in Mickey Starr? You show no respect. And that belt you just won, I'll do everything in my power to get that belt off you.

Jay: Old man, you talk a lot. Do you know who you are talking to? You are talking to Jay Chord. Do you know who I am? I am the son of legen..

I walked off camera, but before doing so I bumped into Cherry Bomb and Raven Robinson arguing. I got between the middle of them and eyed them down. Then I faked a punch and watched them run. Grade: B-

Redwood and Jumbo vs The People's Team
For The
USPW Tag Team Title

The crowd was pretty hot from the last angle, and it defintely helped this match. While the in ring action wasnt too great, the fact it was graced with Redwoods presence was enough to carry it to respectability. Freddie Datsun won 6 minutes in with the Patriot Press. Grade: D+

M. Starr: Caufield, Devine, Davids, I called you 3 men here for a reason. Ive been ordered by Sam Strong to find capable men of ending Jay Chords title reign as soon as possible. If you want a match, just say the word.

Bruce The Giant vs The Force

This match was a lot better than expected and the crowd really got into it. The Force attempted to body slam the giant, but was unsuccessful as the 600lbs man fell on top of him. That was all it took for a 3 count. The Force looked very strong in the match, despite losing. Grade: B-

Nicky: Nice try, Force. You almost beat the most hated man in wrestling. The number 1 villian, the Giant!

Wow, what a match. Who knew 2 guys with barely any popularity in these parts could tear up the arena with 2 stars. The crowd loved this match and was in it from start to end. Its clear the Islanders are going to be big in USPW. It was obvious they were going to lose the match, but talk about a respectable performance. Justice and Enygma even looked impressed. Grade: B

Strongs Office

Alicia: Dad, how could you leave control to Peter and not me? How could you let that happen to me last week? That hurt a lot, and if it wasnt for Micky I may not even be wrestling anymore. What were you thinking? And now that monster has the TV title. Fire him! Do something.

Sam: Alicia, we are doing something. I had Micky Starr round up some men to take care of Jay Chord. He wont be champion long. No one disgraces a Strong the way Jay did. No one. Micky, who did you find?

Micky: So far, Devine, Des and Caufield. They should really give him a struggle. At this weekends PPV, its Jay Chord vs Darryl Devine in a special TV title match held on a PPV. We'll stop at nothing to get the belt off the pathetic Chord. Grade: B

What a bomb. The 2 had terrible chemistry and T-Rex just totally looked off his game. This match was a disaster of epic proportions. Well, not that bad but terrible for a main event. Grade: C-

Strong: Brother, since you took over USPW, our ratings have doubled from .60 to 1.21. It hasnt even been 2 months yet, but apparently what you are doing is ratings gold. Im very impressed with the show quality and our popularity growth. You had a terrible scene backstage, but it seems youve really earned the guys respect back.

I wasnt expecting praise. But wow. I doubled the ratings? I knew people loved me, but I didnt know they wanted to see me on TV that badly. I really am great.

Chord: Thanks boss. That means a lot. And the company is just going to continue to grow. Jay Cho.. um USPW will be a house hold name and will be the fed to watch. Its where all the action is.

Strong: Well thats what I wanted to talk to you about. The long term. What are your goals long term? Where do you see USPW in 6 months? Who has the titles?

Chord: Well Sam, this is what I had in mind... (we talked for about 15-20 minutes about my plans) and that would headline our Independence Day Slam.

Strong: Very impressive. I'll have to think about that though. What are your short term goals with all the contracts coming up? Are you resigning these guys? Letting them walk?

Chord: Resigning most boss. Andre Jones wont resign for less than $10k and Savage Fury may be redundant with The Islanders around.

Strong: Yeah forget Andre. I brought him to USPW as a favor and his ego went to his head. Hes not worth the money. I wouldnt be so quick to let Savage Fury walk though, they are well respected. Did you have people in mind to replace those wrestlers if you let them walk?

Chord: Status quo boss. Unless there are some huge free agent talents out there, but Im sure you'll sign them for me. The roster is plenty big with the womens division. Theres hardly enough time for everyone as there is. The wrestlers get irritated being left off the show.

Strong: Hahaha, yeah. If you see any big names you want out there, let me know. The Tyson Baine and Enygma signings are paying off huge. And good job elevating Nicky Champion into a national star. Thats all I needed brother, see ya.

This was great news. I was establishing myself as a huge wrestling icon all the while carrying USPW on my shoulders. Of course people were watching USPW more than ever before, its where Jay Chord is. Nothing can stop the legendary Jay Chord now, nothing!

Tonight was a big night. It would be interesting to see how well the show does. Last ppv was a big moment, being the first ever, but would people continue to pay for monthly PPVs? The card looks spectacular on paper, so hopefully the buyrates will be there. Everyone was on time and spirits were up in the locker room. It was now time for the show.


The Dark Royale

It would now be USPW tradition to hold a battle royale at the beginning of almost every PPV event. It gets the workers involved and the crowds seem to like them. Peter Valentine and Redwood worked together in this one, until 5 people were left in the ring, and 3 of them teamed up to eliminate the massive Giant. Peter managed to win without Redwoods help anyway. Grade: D

The match was pretty much like every womens match. I could always count on the womens division to pull a decent opener, albiet unspectacular. The crowd was pretty into it, and when Raven hit the Night Faller there was a huge pop. Raven successfully defended the title.

This match was a disappointment, and the crowd wasnt really into it. Bali and Umaga dominated a weak Des Davids throughout the match until he made the hot tag to Datsun around 6 minutes in. Datsun went wild for about 2 minutes before being beatdown by Umaga and Bali while Davids was laid out outside the ring. The ref told Bali to go to his corner, and in the process, Datsun managed to roll up a distracted Umaga for the 1,2,3.

#1 Contender Match for the National Title

Chris Caufield really carried this match and looked great in doing so. Around the 10 minute mark, he hit the danger drop on Jumbo Jackson, but in the process was thrown over the top rope by T-Rex, taking T-Rex with him. This left The Force alone in the ring with an out cold Jumbo. The Force covered for the 1-2-3.

The crowd was really into this match, and really rallied behind Devine. It was clear I was one of the biggest heels the company had. Devine got in a lot of offense at the beginning of the match to the delight of fans, but around the 7:30 mark, I reversed a move into the Super DDT. I then used a bunch of submission holds to wear down Darryl Devine. He started to rally again, but was laid out by a clothesline, which lead the the Cradle Piledriver. I won the match and the arena was shaking with boos.

Tyson Baine and Nicky Champion had a great match. The crowd was really into it, which bodes well for the Main Event. The match was very open and saw equal offense from the two. Nicky Champion really looked like a credible opponent and should become a huge part of the main event scene. Around the 11 minute mark the referee was being distracted by Baine.

Danny: And Champion is getting back on his feet.. oh no, what is T-Rex doing here? The steel chair.. and Champion is out. Oh no, 1..2..3. And Baine wins.

Shane: It looks like they are back together, Danny.

James Justice vs Enygma vs Bruce The Giant
For The
USPW Heavyweight Title

The match was even better than the last. What a card. The fans were waiting for this one, and the workers delivered. It was non stop from beginning to end. Enygma and Justice delivered on their promise and really wore down Bruce The Giant. Around the 9 minute mark, they abandoned that plan and started attacking each other. Bruce the Giant was back in the mix 2 minutes later, but soon found himself the victim of a double clothesline that sent him outside of the ring. Justice then went for the Liberation Slam, but was quickly countered. He became the latest victim of the variation, as Enygma defends.

Grade: B+


Overall Grade: B

I was very happy with the card and think the storylines delivered. I felt no reason to end any of the current storylines, and would continue on with them. Enygma, Baine, Justice, Giant and Champion were incredibly over, with Bruce and Enygma quite possibly the biggest names in the USA.

The next few days would be busy ones. It was disappointing to hear our February PPV did worse than the one in January, although probably to be expected without the $2million set.

On Monday, Darryl Devine was in my office, as we discussed his future with USPW.

Chord: Hey, Devine. So what are you looking to get out of USPW? What are your goals and how much money you want?

Darryl Devine: TBH, all I care about is the money. I'd like $6000 for 2 years.

Chord: I was thinking more along the lines of a $5000 deal for 18 months.

Devine: Deal.

Alicia Strong vs Cherry Bomb vs Raven Robinson

The match was open and saw all the workers get in some offense. Raven took charge around 8 minutes in, but after throwing Cherry Bomb out of the ring, she found herself victim of a surprise Angel Driver, and Alicia picked up the win. Grade: C-

Miss Sara and Belle Argue

Miss Sara: Alicia is going to win the title soon. She is really on a roll.

Belle: Theres no chance, if I couldnt beat Raven 1 on 1, Alicia definitely cant.

T-Rex is walking by and overhears them.

T-Rex: Why dont you girls argue about something else. Like which one of you gets to date me after The Titans win their match tonight.

The two girls roll their eyes and walk off. Grade: C

Match 2
Darryl Devine vs Andre Jones

Since Andre wasnt going to resign, I figured I could use him to get over some of the other USPW youngsters besides myself. Darryl Devine was first in line and put up a pretty impressive performance and win. By the time I'm done with Andre, he wont even be able to main event FCW. That'll show him to reject an offer from Jay Chord. Grade: D+

Champion Force and The Titans backstage

Baine: Hi there, Champion. Tonight, in our tag team match.. Im going to pin you just like I did at RW&B.

Tyson then gets in Champions face, and the 2 are seperated by Force and T-Rex.

Force: Champion, just wait to release your anger in the ring. Together, we'll make them feel the Champion Force!

T-Rex and Tyson Baine walk off. Grade: C+

Match 3
Jumbo and Redwood vs The Islanders vs Savage Fury

Jumbo Jackson was made to look very strong this match, dominating Savage Fury and pinning Tribal Warrior. He then tagged Giant Redwood, who ended up on the wrong part of a double gore by Umaga and Bali. Bali went for the cover and picked up the quick 3. Grade: D+

Political Powers Beatdown

Doom and Peter Valentine come down the ring and whisper something into Redwoods ear. The 3 men than turn on Jumbo Jackson and begin to beat him mercifully.

Redwood: Thats 3 matches with you, and 3 losses! You are a weak link Jumbo. From now on, its me and Peter. You are just a bum.

Grade: D+

Des Davids vs Jay Chord
For the
USPW TV Title

This match was surprisingly good and the crowd was into it. Davids put on a decent performance, but after the 4 minute mark, I dominated the match and eventually hit the super ddt for the pinfall. Grade: C-

Datsun and Caufield backstage

Caufield: Damn, Jay won again. The boss isnt going to be happy. Ya know Freddie, whoever does get that title off Jay is probably going to become a favorite of the boss.

Datsun: Thats a good point Chris. I'll have to go talk with Strong and see what I can do about this little problem.

Semi Main Event
The Titans vs Champion Force

This match didnt live up to expectations. It wasnt horrible by any stretch of the imagination, but there was just a lack of selling. At 8:32, Tyson Baine hid the Hades Bomb on the Force, but Nicky Champion stopped the 3 count in a nick of time. Baine then tagged in T-Rex who fell victim to the Hawkeye Hammer.

Grade: C+

Chord storms into Strongs Office

Chord: Sam, when will you just give up? Anyone you send after me will just suffer the same fate as Des Davids and Darryl Devine. Theres nothing you can do to get this title off me. Just give up Sam. Give up.

Strong: Jay, I wont give up until I achieve what I intended to. Next week, its you and Freddie Datsun for the TV title.

Enygma vs James Justice
For The
USPW Heavyweight Title

This match was amazing. The two wrestlers called it in the ring and really wowed the crowd. At 10:32 into the match..

Danny: Wow what a match, the two men have given it everything they have and Im not sure they have anything left. Oh no, what is he doing here?

Bruce the Giant walks down to the ringside area and obliterates Justice and Enygma. He then grabbed a microphone.

Bruce: You two want to team up on me to keep the gold off me? I dont need to team up with anyone to make sure you two never have a fight 1 on 1 until I get my rematch.

On Sunday, T-Rex signed a 2 year deal for $7000 a month. It was almost the turn of the month, and time for my monthly report.

The calender turned to March, and it was time to go through the roster and adjust pushes.

The main event scene stayed the same. The Giant (A pop) and Enygma (A) were national icons and 2 of the biggest names stateside. Justice (B+) and Tyson Baine (B+) arent that far behind. Nicky Champion (B) really saw his stock rise in February and the fans have been eating him up lately.

The midcard scene did change a lot though. On the verge of Main Event status was The Force (C+), Chris Caufield (C+) and myself (C+, B- in MA). While it looked like Caufield was the one most likely to crack the main event scene just last month, hes been passed by 2 guys. It appears hes stalled a little. We'll have to do something about that. T-Rex (C-) and Jumbo Jackson (C-) were a notch below. The two were building up to their storylines the past 2 months, and should be a more important part of USPW soon.

The midcard was pretty jumbled, but Valentine, Devine and Datsun (all C-) are clearly the cream of the crop, with The Islanders (D-) on the rise.

The womens division was still headlined by Alicia Strong (C-). However, Raven Robinsons (D+) title run has really paid off and she has seen her fanbase rise. Cherry Bomb (D), Belle (D) and Miss Sara (D-) rounded out the card.

I made a call later on Monday to see who was available. To my surprise, there were many big name Free Agents out there from Ricky Decolt to Christian Faith. I made a bunch of guys offers, and while I expect most to say no, I dont expect to strike out. In fact, the guy I want the most is probably the most likely to sign. The guy could carry a wet paper bag to a 5 star match, so he should at least be able to carry Giant Redwood to 2 stars.

When I arrived to the arena, Sara York was telling stories of her matches in AAA to everyone backstage. Also, T-Rex was drawing everyone as cartoon characters. The place had a really happy feel today. Should make for a good card.

Mick Muscles and Danny Rushmore are shown playing poker, smoking cigars and discussing tonights card. The two are betting on all the outcomes.

Miss Sara vs Belle vs Cherry Bomb

I decided to skip an opening tv angle, and it appears the move paid off. This match was great, and the crowd was really into it. Belle Bryden pinned Miss Sara for the win.

Sam Strongs Office

Enygma: Strong, what happened last week was tragic. Me and Justice were putting on a great fight and we were minutes away from seeing who the better man was, and then Bruce the Giant destroys us. You need to do something about him.

Justice: We want our match Sam, and we dont want outside interference.

Strong: Liberty and Justice. Steel Cage Match for the Heavyweight Title. There will be no one getting in.

Match 2
Giant Redwood and Peter Valentine vs The Bruisers (Aaron Jackson and Bulldozer Brandon Smith)

This match was the debut of Brandon Smith. I signed him to a $2500 18 month written deal. Jumbo Jackson would also start using his real name. The 2 teams fought it out, and near the end of the match, Brandon Smith had the upperhand on Peter Valentine, but Comm. Doom interfered, tripping him. This gave Peter Valentine enough time to recover and hit the heartbreaker.

Grade: D-

Tyson Baine Questions T-Rex's Desire

Baine: Where is your head T-Rex? You used to be one of the most fearsome men in wrestling. Now all you do is go around looking at the ladies. Do you even know the last time you won a match?

T-rex: Yeah, it was.. ummm.. well

Baine: Exactly. Either you prove to me you still have it, or this reunion is going to end quickly. I want a T-Rex, not a T-bear.

Match 3
Andre Jones vs Des Davids

Jones's exit wasnt very graceful, but this would be his last match on the show. His USPW run would be over soon. Des Davids picked up the win with a Quarterback Sack to send Jones on his way.

Carl Batch Interviewing Alicia and Raven

Carl Batch: Carl Batch here, with Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson. Ladies, you two have a match for the title at Liberty and Justice. What are your thoughts about it?

Alicia: I hope to have a great match, and hope that that best lady wins. I want to put on a performance of a life time and make womens wrestling more credible.

Raven: Well said Alicia. Im going to give it everything I have to defend this title. And I know Alicia will be doing everything she can to win it.

Darryl Devine vs Peter Valentine
For the
USPW National Title

The two workers had pretty good chemistry. 9 minutes into the match, Peter Valentine was firmly in control. At that point, Aaron Jackson heads down to the ring, and distracts Peter Valentine. Devine rolls up Peter and wins the USPW National Title.

Grade: D+

T-Rex bumps into Hollywood Brett Starr

Hollywood: Watch where your going, recognize class when it stands in front of you. Oh wait, arent you the guy who gets rejected by ladies everywhere? Who hasnt had a win in how long?

T-Rex: And who are you? Werent you Jay Chords partner? Well, Jay Chord is main eventing tonights show for the TV title. What are you doing? When was the last time you were even on air? You still work here?

T-Rex then had enough. He unleashed a brutal attack on Brett Starr. After the youngster was laid out, T-Rex performed the Jurassic Crush. Mickey Starr walks by and sees the carnage.

Mickey: Oh my god!! Brett are you ok? T-Rex, thats enough, stop the madness. T-Rex!!

T-Rex than turned his attention to Mickey Starr and steamrolls over him, spearing him into a wall. He then walks off, leaving the 2 men for dead.

Grade: C+

Bruce The Giant vs Savage Fury

This was a complete squash. Bruce was meant to dominate and unleash his anger on the 2 poor souls.

Grade: D+

Caufield and Datsun backstage

Datsun: Good luck in your match Chris. I have a big match myself tonight. I cant wait. The USPW TV title will be mine.

Chris: Yeah. Congrats on that shot. I'll see ya around.

Grade: C+

Semi Main Event
Chris Caufield vs Umaga

The card lacked good ring action, so it was decided Caufield and Umaga would be allowed to go all out and show what they could do. The match was pretty good for what it was.

Grade: C+

Champion Force Backstage

The match had a lot of heat. The fans were in it from start to finish. We both went all out to have a good match, and there were a bunch of near falls, but I ultimately defended the title when I hit the Cradle Piledriver.

Strong: Well done Jay. Well done. But next week, you arent going to be so lucky. Next week, its Jay Chord vs Freddie Datsun.... vs Des Davids.. vs Darryl Devine. Good luck Jay.

On Monday, I called in Savage Fury. With recent signings, they were seen as redundant. I made my intentions clear that I didnt intend to sign Tribal Warrior, and that obviously meant Java had to go as well. I gave them their walking papers, and they were off. Andre Jones has also left the company.

I also heard back from all the wrestlers I contacted about deals, and 2 ended up agreeing to long term contracts. Including one that could step right into the main event scene.

I arrived at the arena incredibly early. I was hyped for tonights card. The TV viewers were going to be in for a treat tonight.

Cameras show Micky Starr and Sam Strong arriving to the arena and entering the building.

Alicia Strong and Raven vs Belle and Cherry Bomb

I continued the trend of kicking off the tv show with a match, and it paid off again. The ladies were working to a hot crowd due to the dark angle, and it really came off well. Raven Robinson continued her winning ways when she pinned Cherry Bomb.

Sam Strongs Office

An irate Giant storms into Strongs office.

Giant: You think your clever Strong? A steel cage match? You win this round, but dont think its over Strong. Those two will be lucky to still be standing by the time L&J rolls around.

Strong: Bruce, whatever you are thinking of doing, I suggest you dont.

Match 2
The Bruisers vs The Islanders

This match was pretty solid despite The Bruisers lack of experience. Jacksons run of domination continues, but this time he picks up the win vs Bali. The Bruisers pick up their 1st victory.

Grade: C

Sneer and Danny Recap last weeks assault

A film plays of last weeks attack.

Sneer: Just look at the vicious T-rex man handle Brett Starr. You'd figure the youngster would be smart enough to learn something, but no. He demanded a match tonight vs the monster.

Danny: Not sure what Brett Starr is thinking Shane. Maybe he enjoys being a human dart.

Grade: C+

Match 3
Hollywood Starr vs T-Rex

Ewww. Wow, what a killer. Hopefully the card can recover from this abortion. T-Rex won in a very quick squash match but the fans werent into it at all. It wasnt a total loss as T-Rex gained some credibility by just destroying Starr yet again.

Grade: E+

Enygma and Justice backstage

Enygma: In less than 2 weeks, we face off in the cage for the World Title Justice. But lets not look ahead. We need to take care of business tonight against The Towers.

Justice: Agreed. Tonight, we show the world why we'll be headlining L&J.

Chord vs Datsun vs Davids vs Devine
For The
USPW TV Title

This match started out with the 3 men beating the hell out of me. After I was down and out, the wrestlers started fighting amongst each other. Around the 10 minute mark, Devine was knocked out outside the ring, and Davids and Datsun were teaming up against me..

Danny: It looks like its going to be the last of Jay Chord in this match. The three workers have just been targeting him the whole time. It looks as if Datsun or Davids will be winning gold. Wait a second.. who is that? Is that Bryan Holmes? What is he doing here?

Sneer: Looks like hes here to help Jay Chord. Remember this is a no DQ match. The People's Team advantage is gone.

Me and Bryan continue to fight Davids and Datsun off. When we finally got the upperhand, Darryl Devine came to his senses and the two of us targetted him. At that time..

Danny: This is sick, its been 2 vs 1 for awhile now. This Bryan Holmes needs to leave.

Sneer: Look, its Chris Caufield with a steel chair. He's going to even things out a little here.

Danny: Looks like Chord is going to get whats coming to him.

And there I stood alongside Bryan Holmes, in front of Chris Caufield and his steel chair. And at the time, he turned around and nailed Darryl Devine with the steel chair, laying him out cold. I go for the cover and defend my title.

Danny: Why? Why did he do that? What is going on here? Has Chris teamed up with Jay too?

Shane: It looks like we are going to find out now, Danny.

Grade: C+

The New Alliance

After a beatdown of Devine, Davids and Datsun, I grab 2 microphones from ringside, one for me and one for Chris.

Jay: Sam, old man. Every single move you make just backfires. Here I stand, still the TV champion. You overlooked one thing Sam. You overlooked Chris Caufield. Not once did you offer him a match. I approached him, and promised him gold. And here we are..

Caufield: Strong, Im sick and tired of being overlooked. And soon, me and Bryan Holmes will be Tag Team Champions. This is just the beginning of The Mind Games. Bryan may not be one for words, hes more the silent assassin who stalks his prey. But trust us, hes deadly.

Jay: And you know what else Sam? Do you think its just coincidence the 3 men I faced tonight were all champions? Or were you just a puppet in my game? After tonights beating, Holmes and Caufield have to be number 1 contenders for the Tag Titles. As for the National Title.. well who cares?

Which brings me to my next point Strong. You really really want this title off me? The USPW TV Title? A title made to defend on television? Ha, this title isnt worth of Jay Chord. Jay Chord wasnt made to headline television, Jay Chord was made to headline the biggest PPVs on the planet. Fans everywhere should have to pay $40 to even see me in a title match. Ive already given them 3 title matches on TV, and do they appreciate it? Of course not. The peons just boo me because of their jealousy. They hate me because Im just better. I am Jay Chord and they are not. So you see this title here? Chris, go get it.

Caufield goes under the ring and comes back out with a trash can. He throws the trash can in the ring.

This is what I think of your TV title Strong. If it means that much to you, I'll give you what you want. The only title worthy of Jay, is World.

I toss the title in the trash and the 3 of us are about to walk off.

Strong, thats why we are The Creative Control. We'll get what we want, and you cant do a damn thing about it.

Champion Force vs Power Trip (Redwood+Valentine)

This match was pretty good, considering the segment it followed. The action was good but the crowd sorta fell flat. Still, it did the trick. The Force picked up the pin over Redwood.

Tyson Baine and T-Rex Confront Champion Force

Baine and T-Rex walk down the aisle, Baine with a mic in hand.

Baine: Champion Force, we want a rematch. You beat us the last time, but T-Rex is a new man with a new desire. You wont beat us again.

Baine and T-Rex walk off stage without an answer.

Grade: B

The Towers of Power vs Enygma and Justice

Justice and Enygma stole the show and were both made to look great. Mission accomplished. The match was actually awesome and the fans loved it. Justice picked up the 3 count, 1 uping Enygma.

Grade: B

The show was awesome and lived up to my expectations. The fans totally ate up Chris Caufield as a heel and Bryan Holmes debut was well executed. Our stable is a smash hit and our momentum is through the roof.

On Friday, I signed Raven Robinson up for 18 months at 6k. She was a big part of the womens division, so I had to pay her as such. I also took the time to make a few matches for Wednesdays card.

Floyd: You two just formed an on screen alliance last week, and he takes me on as a protege. I know you recommended me. Thanks.

Jay: Yeah no problem.

I really had nothing to do with it. The timing was interesting though. He could learn a lot from Caufield.

Cherry Bomb vs Miss Sara

Danny: And Miss Sara hits the Energy Burst. And gets the count. Thats her first win at USPW. What an upset.

Miss Sara looked good out there, and she deserved a win. She'll be getting a lot of jokes thrown her way backstage now. But getting the first win is good.

Strongs Office

The cameras show Strongs office, T-Rex, Baine and Valentine are inside.

Tyson: The Titans demand a match against Champion Force. They refused to give us an answer. Sam, Make the match

Valentine: And I want Darryl Devine. He took my title with a fluke pin. I want my title back.

Strong: Im sick of people barging in my office, demanding matches. You want a match? Fine, next its You 3 vs Champion Force and Darryl Devine.

2nd Match
Champion Force w Devine vs The Titans w Valentine

This match saw Champion and Force look really strong at the expense of Peter Valentine. However, Valentines team still won win T-Rex made Darryl Devine submit via the Jurassic Crush, while the 4 other men were fighting outside the ring.

3rd Match
Floyd Griffin vs Hollywood Bret Starr

Griffin seemed in a really good mood, so I decided to let him pick up a win tonight. Bret Starr continued to be arrogant and ****y, while continuing to get annihilated. The match was terrible but I figured I could hide it on the card.

Grade: E+

Tower Of Power Poker game

The Towers are sitting by, looking bored. They need 2 more people to play poker with. At that point, Alicia and Raven walk by.

Mick: How about you ladies join us for a game of cards?

Alicia: (coughing) No thanks, its like an ashtray in here. Lets go Raven.

Match 4
Islanders vs Antman and Brandon Smith

This was a squash to rebuild the Islanders after last weeks loss. Antman continues to be the good soldier and can put on amazing squash matches. Brandon Smith got in some offense, but ultimately watched his partner get pinned.

Sam Strong In the Ring

Strong: Last week, we saw Jay Chord throw away the TV title. The youngster has absolutely no respect for the business. The TV title was prestigious. Now its just a piece of trash. Chord, get out here now!

Chord: (walks to ring) Strong, the tv title was never prestigious. It doesnt even have a history. It isnt even defended on PPVs. Its outdated Sam. Before Jay Chord came to USPW, you didnt have PPV so a TV title was fine. But now that Im here, USPW is the place to be. PPV came calling immediately. They get it. They understand Jay Chord was made to headline the biggest events in the world. Thats why I demand a shot at the real title Sam. And until I get one, your life is going to be hell.

Bruce The Giant: (Bruce's music hits and he walks to the ring) I think we all know who deserves a shot at the title. I havent had a fair chance. The two men teamed up against me. They made the match about me, not the title. They are disgracing the World title. It needs to be on the one true giant.

Tyson Baine: Wait. Hold up. If we are giving out title shots like Candy, Baine wants in. I only got 1 shot at the belt, and was seconds away from capturing gold. I deserve a shot as much as anyone in USPW.

Champion: I want in on this. Ive been on fire lately, and if it wasnt for Baine cheating, I would have pinned him at RW&B.

Strong: Fine, at L&J it will be a #1 contenders match. Jay Chord vs The Giant vs Champion vs Baine.

Match 4
Redwood vs Aaron Jackson

The match was over in 6 minutes. Sadly after it was over, Sam Strong said it was far too long. Redwood just looked exhausted. Redwood is really past his prime now, and hes out of breath just walking to the ring. It may be time to find a backstage roll for him.

T-Rex Trashes Belle

T-Rex: Hi Belle. Did you see my win tonight when I destroyed Devine?

Belle: I already told you Im not interested Rex. Get lost.

Silly girl. Its I who isnt interested. When I was chasing you girls around, I lost my focus on what actually matters. Girls like you are just dime a dozen. Guys like me, are 1 in a billion.

He then roars at her and she runs off scared.

Semi Main Event
Caufield vs Davids

The 2 wrestlers had the crowd going, and Davids looked credible. But in the long run, Chris just out thought Des Davids and hit the Danger Drop to pick up the victory.

Grade: C+

Enygma and Justice Hype Their Match

Enygma: In 4 days, me and you meet in the steel cage for the World Title. We are going to put on a show the fans will never forget. And there will be no Bruce the Giant to interfere.

Justice: Thats right. Im going to give it my all to regain that title. And Im going to give it my all for all the Justice fans out there.

Grade: A

Main Event
Bryan Holmes vs Freddie Datsun

It was Holmes in ring debut, and since it was a special occasion, I gave it the main event spot. Theres no question hes the most talented wrestler on the roster, and is already quite over. I wasnt shocked at all when he and Freddie Datsun stole the show. They just had great chemistry. Much like the match before, Holmes wore down Datsun and just out thought him. He was always 2-3 steps ahead, and managed to get the victory via the Final Impact.

Grade: B

The morning of the PPV, there was big news in the wrestling world. Apparently Dan Stone and Dan Stone Jr had a falling out and are now feuding. Not only that, but Dan Stone Jrs contract expires in just 22 days. The dirtsheets didnt say what the feud was about, but I imagine it has to do with ownership of NOTBPW. Everyone knew Sr would be retiring sooner or later, and maybe hes already promised the company to his eldest son or his only daughter.

It appears Jrs days in NOTBPW are over, but where would he end up? Is it possible USPW could land Dan Jr? Or would TCW and SWF get in the sweepstakes? One thing was for sure, USPW wouldnt be sitting idly by. I made calls that day, and was hoping for the best. If Enygma shocked the world by joining USPW, what would Jr do?

Either way, it would be 22 days before anyone would know anything, as Stone would have to fulfill the rest of his contract.

And now it was time to head on to The Dust Bowl Arena for L&J.

The tradition continued, and the wrestlers put on the best Battle Royale to date. Aaron Jackson looked very impressive and picked up the win.

This match was made to put over T-Rex as a menacing monster. The Force picked up the victory via DQ, but in the process got annihilated by T-Rex. The match was pretty good for what it was, and the fans were really starting to get into the event.

This match was pretty open and the crowd was loving every minute of it. The 3 of us teamed up against Giant and took him out early. Soon after, Tyson and Nicky would continue their feud and go after one another while I caught my breath. The two noticed this and decided to team up on me. At that point..

Danny: Oh no, here comes Caufield and Holmes. They are really bringing it to Nicky Champion and Tyson Baine.

As Nicky and Baine fought off Mindgames, I was left in the ring by myself.. or so I thought. When I turned around, there I was in the grasp of Bruces hand. I went up for the ride as Giant nailed his chokeslam for the 3 count, and the right to face the champion in April.

For The
USPW World Title

This match was amazing and the crowd was sizzling. The two fought it out in the steel cage for a good 15 minutes before Enygma won via submission with the variation. Justice really looked strong out there despite the loss, while Enygma continues his winning ways. This was his 5th defense of the title.

The PPV helped create a new feud between Alicia Strong and J-Ro. The Bruce, Enygma and Justice storyline continued, although Justice may be written out of the story and move on to another feud after his clean loss to Enygma. Champion and Baine fued was continuing to gain heat, and of course I was still entrenched with the Strongs as well.

There was one more show this month, and I was eager to get it out of the way. I think Sam will be very impressed with my March recap.

I also officially retired the USPW TV title, and changed the Tag Titles to floating. The tag team division would be a big part of USPW.

The numbers came in, and the PPV was the biggest one yet at .73. March is also going to easily be our most profitable month of the year, as the January PPV had a $3mil special set, and last month gate sales were down as we went to smaller areas.

Seductress's contract expires in 30 days. She doesn't really add much to Darryl Devines matches, and is irritated at a failed gimmick from a few months ago. Shes a negative presence backstage. Very few people get along with her. With Devine incredibly happy because of a few recent victories, shes not needed. I decided I would let her contract run its course as to not piss off Darryl, but she wouldnt be resigned. She just wouldnt be fired.

Surprised to see Strong go down, but it does set up a nice three-way feud for the ladies belt and I am sure J-Ro will inject some much needed heat.

On Tuesday I was meeting with a few workers I called about contracts. Robbie Retro was first.

Jay Chord: Hi Robbie, have a seat. Look, Id really like to have you at USPW. You are young, and already over with the fans. You'd be a huge hit in USPW. Im talking upper midcarder on day 1. What do you say? 2 years and $8k a month?

Robbie: Look Jay, Im not looking to sign a written contract. I have another job that pays really well.

Jay: Well, yeah. But I'll pay you better. If you dont want a written deal, how about a PPA?

Robbie: It'd have to be a written deal Jay, as I already have an offer for a written deal.

Jay: But you just said.. man nevermind. SWF can have you. Get lost.

SWF won the bidding war, and Retro resigned. An hour later, Joshua Taylor arrived.

Jay: Hey Josh, have a se..

Josh: TCW offered 11k a month.

Jay: Bye.

and he left. Well that was quick and painless, unlike talking to Robbie Retro. Not a very good day for USPW. TCW also signed Acid and Frankie Perez today. Ricky Decolt reupped with CGC on a PPA deal, but I decided he was just too small for USPW. Even though Rickys larger than Ant-man, Ant-man has freakish power. And 1 small guy was enough.

This was one of the better womens matches to date. Raven Robinson and Alicia are really over with the fans. Alicia Strong won the match after J-Ro went crazy and knocked out Alicia and Raven with steel chairs. She placed Alicia on top of Raven for the 3 count, and exited the stage.

After her match, I confronted J-Ro.
Jay: Hey, I see you really hate Alicia Strong too. You know, Creative Control wants all the gold, and to have all the gold, we need the womens title. You obviously have what it takes.
J-ro: Jay, if you help me destroy Alicia Strong and get the womens title, I'd be very appreciative.
She winks and walks off, but not after rubbing her body against mine. Damn, shes hot.

Second Match: C
Belle Bryden vs Miss Sara
Special: Cherry Bomb in booth.

Danny: Nice of you to join us Cherry.
Cherry: Danny, I didnt come here to be friendly. I came to tell you that what you saw last week was a fluke. Sara could never pin me again.

This match was solid. Miss Sara continued to surprise people when she pinned Belle Bryden with another roll up pin. The crowd is really starting to react to her, and shes one of the most over females in the division after just a few matches.

Sam Strong, Tyson Baine, Giant

Strong: Ok, you two scheduled a meeting earlier and Im pressed for time, so Im meeting with both of you at the same time.
Giant: I want Enygma. I want him to feel the Giant Chokeslam. I want to feel his bones rattle when he hits the canvas. I want to see his face when I pin him 1,2,3.
Tyson: Champion Force. I want a rematch to show those punks we can beat them. I want to destroy Nicky Champion. Hes lucky Mindgames interupted our match or he'd have been history and I'd be facing Enygma.
Giant: Ha, you think you can beat me? I dont think so you little an..
Strong: Enough. Tonight, its Champion Force and Enygma vs The Titans... and the Giant. Have fun boys. Now get out of my office.

Third Match: D
Ant-man vs Floyd Griffin

This was your typical squash match. Floyd Griffin has been improving greatly since training with Caufield, and with his menacing looks and superstar quality, its clear he needs to be used. It looked like the card was especially strong tonight, and I needed a meh match to keep the fans from burning out.

Darryl Devine, Peter Valentine

Valentine: You have something of mine. Theres no way you can beat me again Devine. The planets aligned just right for you to even win once. I want a title shot and I want it now.
Devine: How many times do I have to beat you before you admit Im just better than you Peter? Im moving on to bigger and better things. I deserve it, and these fans deserve it.

Fourth Match:C+
The Islanders vs The Peoples Team

Part of me wondered how good this match would have been if I didnt want Bali and Umaga to dominate it. The two of them have really established themselves as solid midcarders in just a short span due to their incredible skills and great looks. Bali applied the unbreakable sleeper on Datsun for the submission victory.

The Force, Nicky Champion, Enygma

The Force: YOU READY FOR THE MATCH TONIGHT BOYS? ALL OF NEW ENGLAND WILL FEEL THE FORCE TONIGHT!!
Nicky: I want Tyson. He stole a victory from me, and has been a thorn in my side for months. Tyson, tonight I am going to pin you.
Enygma: Thats a bold prediction. And Giant, you will never take this title off me. If you even try to get a chokeslam on me, I'll counter it and make you tap out. The biggest man in wrestling, tapping out. I like the sound of that Giant.

The Semi:B-
Champion Force w/ Enygma vs The Titans w/ Giant

The crowd was really into this one. The match spilled to the outside with Champion and Baine in the ring alone. Champion hits his hawkeye hammer and picks up the victory for his team. Afterwards, Baine looks shocked and is visably pissed off.

Angle: C-
Towers of Power, The Bruisers

Backstage, the Towers of Powers are talking amongst themselves, wondering if their time as a force in the tag team ranks is over. They psyched themselves up to the point where they then went on to attack the Bruisers from behind, laying the two out cold.

The Main Event: B+
Bryan Holmes vs James Justice

This match was great, which wasnt much of a shock. Bryan Holmes was worth his weight in gold and it seems like he can carry anyone to a good match. In the right enviroment, he could put on some spectacular matches with the main event scene. While he'll never be a superstar in USPW, hes definitely a valuable chip. Justice picked up the win with a liberation slam, but Holmes came across really well in the match.

After the match, Caufield and myself hit the ring and unleash an assault on James Justice for winning the match. We lay him down and out and the cameras fade with the 3 of us standing tall over a knocked out Justice.

The show was great, and was a good way to end the month. In a few days, I would need to write my monthly recap and hand it in to Sam Strong.

The calender month turned to April and it was time to review the rosters and recap it for Sam Strong.

The main event scene was still the same 5 guys, with Giant (A*) Enygma (A*), Justice (A) and Baine (A) being amongst the most popular guys in the USA. Nicky Champion (B+) is close behind.

On the verge of breaking the main event scene were myself (B), Force (B-), T-Rex (B-) and Caufield (B-). Just a month ago it seemed like Rex and Chris stalled, but a successful turn by Caufield and a few squash matches for T-Rex turned that all around.

Other notables on the roster were Darryl Devine (C-), Umaga (C-) Bali (C-) Aaron Jackson (C) and Bryan Holmes (C). Valentine, Datsun, Davids and The Towers of Power could always be counted on to get some heat too.

The womens divison was clearly on the rise in March as Raven Robinson (C-) stepped up her game and Alicia Strong (C-) continued to be a focal point in many USPW storylines. The debut of J-Ro (D) was a huge success and Miss Sara (D) saw her first 2 wins. Belle (D) and Cherry (D) continued to be reliable and formidable challengers.

April should be more of the same.

This was the best womens match to date and the two had great chemistry. J-Ro picked up the pin when she nailed the J-Rocker. This match should have helped both wrestlers, as they continue to rise up the womens division.

Strong: You wanted to meet with me again Tyson? What do you want this time?
Baine: I want Nicky Champion, 1 on 1 at Freedom Fight. He got incredibly lucky last week when he pinned me. That will not happen again. I will end my feud with Nicky once and for all. Make the match Sam.
Strong: You got it, to go along with The Giant vs Enygma, the 2nd match announced will be Tyson Baine vs Nicky Champion.

Peter Valentine, Ant-man

Not much to say here, just a squash match to help build up Valentines pop and momentum after a few losses to Darryl Devine.

Enygma is backstage resting in his locker room when Bruce The Giant breaks the door down and starts demolishing Enygma. He ends the attack with a Giant chokeslam on the hard cement floor.

Towers of Power, The Bruisers

Aaron Jackson continued his impressive run as he manages to pin Danny Rushmore for the victory. Brandon Smith still isnt up to his partners level, but is slowly moving up the card with every tag win.

The four ladies are shown backstage arguing before a cat fight breaks out amongst the four. Alicia Strong and Raven get the upperhand before the fight is broken up by backstage security.

T-Rex, Freddie Datsun

T-Rex continues his reign of terror, with Freddie Datsun being the latest victim. T-Rex applied the Jurassic Crush for the win. He dominated the match from beginning to end, and is quickly making a case for ME push.

Umaga: Bali, we both got singles matches tonight. I challenge you to a little competition. Tonight, you go one on one with Darryl Devine for the National Title and I take on Des Davids. I guarantee a victory in my match. What about you?
Bali: I'll be wearing gold when I leave the ring. Book it.

Fifth Match:
Umaga, Des Davids

Umaga looked like a man on a mission in this match. He just looks and acts like a superstar and the fans continue to react to him. The Islanders are going to be huge in USPW with a little time.

Special: National Title

Bali started the match getting in all the offense, and steamrolling over Darryl Devine. It was your old school face/heel match up where the heel got in all the offense, but the face rallied at the end and pulled off the underdog victory.

Redwood, The Force, Nicky Champion.

Redwood is standing like a menacing statue in front of Strongs office.
The Force: REDWOOD, ARE YOU OK? CAN YOU HEAR ME? DO YOU FEEL THE FORCE?
Nicky: Man, hes worse than a British Royal Guard. REDWOOOOOOOOD, hey Redwood? Nothing.
At this time, The Force rips a huge fart, and even though it appears Redwood is about to gag, he continues to stand still.

The Main Event: B+
James Justice, Chris Caufield

Why did I give this match away on free tv? Wow. What a show. The fans were loving every minute of it as Justice and Caufield dueled it out for over 15 minutes. Both fighters got in a lot of offense and looked like stars. Justice was ultimately too much for Caufield as he hit the Liberation slam at the 16:12 mark for the pin.

Creative Control hit the ring after the loss and much like last week, continued to beat the hell out of James Justice.
Chord: Justice, you may have beaten Chris Caufield and Bryan Holmes, but you will never beat Jay Chord. I challenge you to a match at Freedom Fight. The legendary Jay Chord vs James Justice. And after I finish you, I will move on to bigger, better things. Like the winner of Enygma and The Giant. You see, unlike you, I have what it takes to win a title match. This match involved all the women, and it was clear the division was on the verge of breaking out. The workers were getting more over every match and have been putting on great performances. Sara York continued her hot streak when she pinned J-Ro, picking up the win for her team.

Giant: What do you want Strong and what is he doing here? He better get lost before things get ugly.
Enygma: The only thing thats going to get ugly is your face. Oh wait, it already is.
Strong: You two knock it off. I called you both in here to tell you something. From now until Freedom Fight, you two arent allowed to touch each other unless its in a sanctioned match. If you do it Bruce, you'll lose your shot. Enygma, if you do, you'll lose you belt. Now get out.

Floyd Griffin vs Ant-man vs Bret Starr

Floyd continued to get pushed, picking up an impressive win vs the other youngsters. Bret Starr was ok with the loss. Obviously me threatening him has had an impact.

Umaga, Bali, Mickey Starr, Carl Batch

Umaga: Our matches are next. I get a shot at the title and a chance to inflict pain.
Bali: Good luck Umaga. Im going to inflict a lot of pain tonight too. Im psyched. I could kick some ass right now.
Bali eyes Mickey Starr and Carl Batch who are talking about 100 feet away. Bali and Umaga laugh at each other and slowly start walking towards Batch and Starr. When they were within striking distance, they speared Batch and Starr, leaving them down and out. Bali continued onward to the arena, where he'd face Brandon Smith.

Thrid Match: D+
Bali vs Brandon Smith

Bali picked up the quick win over Brandon Smith, looking very impressive in doing so. Brandon Smith will have to resort to tag team victories to see any wins. Hes talented though, he'll see better days.

Fourth Match: C
Darryl Devine vs Umaga
Special: National Title

Devine and Umaga put on a decent match in the middle of the card. Devine continues to impress the audience with a flashy style of wrestling. Umaga got in a lot of offense, but ultimately found himself the victim of the Devine Dream Drop. Devine defends successfully.

Sam Strong, J-Ro, Sara York

Strong: Ladies, take a seat. You both requested to see me. As you know, Im a busy man so I like doing these things together. What do you want Sara?
Sara: I want a shot at the title Mr. Strong. Im on a huge run, and have had many impressive victories of late, including tonight when I pinned her.
J-Ro: How soon you forget that one on one, you were the loser. I pinned you fair and square. Im the one who deserves a title shot.
Strong: J-Ro, you screwed my daughter out of the title. Im not sure why I would reward you with a title shot of all people. But I tell you what, next week its Miss Sara vs J-Ro vs Alicia Strong. The winner will take on Raven Robinson for the title at Freedom Fight.

The Titans vs The Peoples Team

T-Rex continued to dominate, as he picked up the win via submission. Baine got in very little ring time, looking preoccupied by something else. At the end of the match, hes seen telling T-Rex he has something to take care of.

Champion is shown backstage alone, and Baine attacks from behind. He picks Nicky up and delivers the Hades Bomb onto the cement floor and walks off.

Force is then shown walking by and notices Champion down and out. He calls for help and realizes his match is next.

The Semi: C+
Mind Games vs The Force

The Force never stood a chance, as Nicky Champion obviously couldnt make it to the ring. Caufield and Holmes wear him down and eventually pick up the win.

I walked by James Justice on my way to the ring, as I had a match next vs Aaron Jackson.

Jay: Justice, I suggest you watch this next match because thats going to be you at Freedom Fight.
Justice: I suggest you shut up and worry about Aaron Jackson or you wont even get to Freedom Fight.

Aaron Jackson, Jay Chord

This was a great match, probably one of my better ones to date. Aaron Jackson was really easy to work with and we both got in some offense. I ultimately won the match with a Cradle Piledriver. Lately it almost seems a given USPW will be putting on great main events and are able to do so with a variety of talent.

All three workers put on a show and the crowd was really into it. At the 8:42 mark Alicia Strong hit Miss Sara with the Angel Driver. I walked down to ringside and momentarily distracted Alicia Strong, while J-Ro covered up Miss Sara for the 3 count.

After the match, J-Ro stood next to me, pressing her body onto mine. Alicia and Miss Sara are in the ring.
Jay Chord: How easily distracted you are Alicia. You just lost your shot for gold. I'd say your disgracing the family name, but when Sams your father, you cant really disgrace it much. Lets go J-Ro. This weekend at Freedom Fight, show Alicia how its done.

The People's Team vs T-Rex and Peter Valentine

T-Rex continued to destroy everyone in his path, and Datsun suffered the same fate. Valentines on a mini hotstreak, continuing to build up after his losses to Darryl.

Justice: Sam, I want to make sure Jay Chord doesnt cheat in our match at Freedom Fight. I want Bryan Holmes and Caufiled barred from ringside during our match up. I also want a backstage pass for a friend of mine.
Strong: Justice, I'd be happy to do that for you. I hate that punk just as much as you. Throwing away titles and constantly messing with my daughter. He needs to pay.

AMM (Champagne Lover) vs Hollywood Bret Starr

AMM was making his debut, and since I had big plans for him I put him over resident jobber Bret Starr. I locked him up to a 2 year deal, and am hoping his great in ring work and superstar look make him a huge name in USPW. Hes already a superstar in Mexico, so he has the experience.

Darryl Devine vs Floyd Griffin
Special: National Title

Wow, Floyd Griffin has really improved as of late. Its amazing what happens when you put him in the ring with someone like Darryl Devine over Bret Starr. Devine hit the Dream Drop at the 9 minute mark for the win. Towers of Power were always good for a decent match. They didnt win much nowadays but you have to admire their consistency. They dont put up many duds. Nicky Champion continued his run when he hit the Hawkeye Hammer for the 3 count.

Special: Title Shot

Umaga and Bali dominated Brandon Smith for awhile, until he made the hot tag to Aaron Jackson. Jackson went on an incredibly rally and was just about to pin Umaga before Bali broke up the count. After a few minutes, Jackson tagged in Brandon again, while Umaga tagged Bali. Both Islanders stood out there beating the hell out of Brandon while Jackson was being held out of the ring by the ref. They hit the double gore, and Bali picks up the 3 count.

Strong: How did you get in here? You didnt have a meeting. Isnt Redwood patrolling out there?
Aaron: Huh? Redwood isnt out there. Maybe hes firing one out, he did have a lot of those tacos the catering service brought in today. Anyway, we were screwed out of our title shot. We want in on that match at Freedom Fight.
Strong: Well I was watching on TV and cant help but agree with you. Plus the more opponents Mindgames have, the better. So at Freedom Fight, its a 3 way dance for the Tag Team Titles. The Islanders vs The Bruisers vs Mindgames.

Bruce The Giant and Jay Chord vs Enygma and Justice

Wow. This was easily my best match to date, if not the best match in USPW history. There was no doubt this match would pay off huge at the PPV, as it was hyping 2 of the matches. At the 13:42 mark, Justice and I were fighting outside the ring when Bruce The Giant hit Enygma with the Giant Choke Slam for the 3 count.

After the match, Caufield and Holmes hit the ring to beat the piss out of James Justice yet again.

Danny: Wow, it looks like Justice should have brought his protection today. Hes going to be in rough shape heading into Freedom Fight.

These two workers dont really put on good matches. Remembering RW&B, I figured I'd stick this somewhere in the midcard. Luckily I did. The match wasnt bad, it just wasnt Main Event material. It served its purpose though, as Nicky Champion hit the hawkeye hammer and got the clean pin over Tyson Baine. The fans absolutely love Nicky Champion, the pop hes getting of late is equal to Enygmas.

This match was still great even if it wasnt the match of the night. Enygma and Justice battled it out, and saw Enygma even kick out of the Giant chokeslam. Around 12 minutes into the match, Enygma did what was assumed impossible. He got the Giant to tap out via the variation. Im not even sure how he managed to apply it. That was his 6th defense.

Big news in the wrestling world, not only did NOTBPW lose Dan Stone Jr, but it now appears Dark Angel wont be resigning with them either. Id offer him a contract, but Strong doesnt want any super juniors.

I was still deciding on whether I'd be offering Pistol Pete Hall a contract since he was now free to sign anywhere. I just fear at 48, he doesnt have a lot left in his legs. Of course he'd still make a great road agent in case Sam Strong retires sometime soon.

On Monday I signed a bunch of guys and placed them in SCCW. I tried to sign a few others but was blocked. I forgot about our pact with MAW. Seduction also left the company.

Strong: Hi Karry.
So Sam, your company has really been taking off lately. Its even being mentioned in the same breath as SWF and TCW. Why do you think its so successful?
Well, we are more family orientated than the other big promotions in the USA. We also take pride in our throwback 80's style. Our womens division really makes us stand out from the pack too. We have some of the most talented, and beautiful ladies in all of wrestling including my daughter Alicia. We really hope to expand the division because thats what makes us unique.
And what are your plans for the future of the company? You arent getting any younger, how long do you plan to stick around?
I havent thought about retirement yet. But the future of USPW looks bright. We just opened our own Dev. fed, SCCW. We hope that allows us to create our own big names.
Speaking of big names, USPW just signed Canadian legend, Dan Stone Jr. How did that happen?
That was all Jay Chord. I told him by years end I'd like to expand to Canada and maybe Mexico. With Dan Stone Jr and AMM, we definitely have the wrestlers to expand the USPW name.

Very Nice. So what is it like working with Jay anyway? There are a lot of rumors in the dirtsheets that this guy is quite the douche? He was even in the papers for the Keith Vegas scandal. Is this stuff true?
That Keith Vegas thing was never proven true. The thing with Keith was he wasnt willing to do the job. He got upset losing to guys much more over than he was. Jay fired him so Vegas made the lie. Jay is pretty easy to work with, hes just young so he makes some immature mistakes from time to time. Overall though, hes outstanding.
Well, coming from a guy who thinks Peter Valentine is a great man, that sure does speak highly for Jay Chord.
Yes, I think highly of both men. Both locker room leader types.
So time is running out, will we ever see you in the ring again?

Belle Bryden finally managed to pin Raven Robinson, but only after she lost the title. The match could have been slightly better, but I protected Raven Robinson.

Alicia Strong really stood out this match, and managed to get a victory over J-Ro, establishing herself as a threat to the title. Miss Sara also continued to impress, and was almost forcing herself into the title picture.

After the match, I walk down to the ring and join the side of J-Ro.

Jay: Alicia, you may have won this match, but thats not surprising. It was a non title match. Its clear when the title is on the line, you just choke. You dont have the killer instinct, the drive. J-Ro managed to capture the title in her first attempt. She is clearly the woman to carry the division to new heights.
Alicia: Whatever Jay. Like you know anything about winning a big match. What happened at Freedom Fight?
So you want to talk about that. Well thats the real reason I came out here. I lost that match because of Dan Stone Jr. The coward attacked me from behind with a steel chair. You know Stone, you may be a big deal in Canada, but this isnt Canada. This is the big leagues, and we both know you dont have what it takes. Your daddy isnt here to help you now, Dan. See Dan, thats the difference between me and you. The minute I left my fathers side, I became a legend in just 4 months. And you? You've been living off your fathers name for decades. Stone, I demand a match.

Third Match: 64
The Peoples Team vs Towers Of Power

The match was just filler and used to get Freddie Datsun a little more over. Tag Division seems in great shape where almost any 2 tag teams can put on a decent performance.

AMM: Hey Rex, I just wanted to say sorry about last week. I didnt mean to insult you. I was just offering some help.
T-Rex: Its ok AMM. Its more than ok. In fact, Im so over it that I requested a match with you tonight. And guess what? Its next.

AMM, T-Rex

T-Rex pretty much destroyed AMM, continuing to climb up the card in convincing fashion. He has to be one of our top heels now. I wouldnt be surprised to see him in the title scene again in the near future. AMM really just needs the exposure until he becomes a star at USPW. Too bad Sam Strong didnt want to use the name Champagne Lover though, thinking the name was too risky for USPW. What a sap.

Bruce: (talking to himself) I cant believe I lost. Enygma... must pay. Ive never felt such disappointment, such anger. Someone is going to pay.

The Giant looks around backstage and sees Nicky Champion and Sam Strong discussing something.

Nicky: So with my win over Baine, I think I deserve a title shot.
Strong: You do have a point, well see what I ca..
Bruce: Let me get this straight, you think you deserve a title shot? Not before I get my rematch.
Nicky: Rematch? You lost fair and square. And besides, why should you get a rematch? Its not like you lost the title. Its my time.

At that point Giant went ballistic and completely destroyed an unexpecting Champion. Sam Strong looked by and called for help.

The Force vs Bali

The Force and Bali battled it out for 10 minutes until The Force connected with the Full Force, picking up another win. The Force was really starting to become popular with the fans, and is starting to look like a credible singles wrestler. Champion Force wasnt going anywhere, but they'd be appearing less as the two would both be active in singles action.

Darryl Devine and Engyma were backsage discussing their titles, when Peter Valentine and Baine walked by.

Tyson: I cant believe you still have that title. How many fluke wins can one guy have?
Enygma: Funny Tyson. Arent you the same guy who hasnt pinned anyone in over 6 matches? And the only wins youve had in the last few months were picked up by T-Rex. Maybe you should worry about yourself, rather than me.
Tyson: You have some nerve Enygma. Nicky Champion beating me was just a fluke, its all it was.
Enygma: Everything is a fluke to you.

Dan Stone Jr vs Umaga

In his first match at USPW, Dan Stone Jr picked up the impressive win over Umaga. The crowd was really into the match and it wouldnt be long until Stone was main eventing.

Justice: So, are you going to give Jay his match?
Dan: Its not in me to turn down a fight James. If he wants a fight, thats what he'll get.
Justice: Well, I got your back. We need to watch out for Caufield and Holmes. We are still outnumbered. Tonight, me and Enygma will take care of them, but Enygma has his own problems to worry about.
Dan: We will just have to outthink them and stay a step ahead. Jay Chord and his lackeys bit off more than they can chew this time around.

Enygma and James Justice vs Mind Games

Justice and Engyma would dispatch of Mind Games in about 12 minutes when Justice hit Holmes with a Liberation slam and picked up the victory. Justice continues to be a thorn in the side of Creative Control.

Over the weekend, Raymond Diaz, FAG, Captain Atomic and Shady K all refused to speak with me. That sucked.

We did however sign Amber Allen, Zoe Ammis and Emma Bitch. I decided against signing Tracy Brandon, as she wanted too much money.

The month turned to May and it was time to hand in a report to Sam Strong.

The main event scene remained unchanged, although Nicky Champion (94) did climb up the pecking order. Engyma (100), Bruce The Giant (94), Tyson Baine (90) and James Justice (88) continued to be massively over as well.

The uppermidcard was making some serious noise as T-Rex (84) and myself (85) continued to climb up the card. Chris Caufield (78), The Force (72) and Bryan Holmes (70) rounded off the upper card.

Bali (68) and Umaga (58) continued to move up the card, although Umaga was sacraficed to Dan Stone Jr (63). Darryl Devine (61), Aaron Jackson (63) and Peter Valentine (54) were the most over midcarders. 2 other guys on the move were AMM (40) and Floyd Griffin (40).

The womens division saw a lot of growth as Alicia Strong (60) continued to win over fans, and J-Ro (58) made a huge splash that was topped off by winning the title off Raven Robisnon (46). Sara Marie York (55) was quickly establishing herself as a threat to the title and her real life persona just fits so well with USPW. Cherry Bomb (44) continued to struggle, but Belle Bryden (49) managed to pick up a big win over Raven.

May would be a building month for us, as I decided to make Junes USPW Americana a 30 man Royal Rumble where the winner would earn a title shot at our biggest event of the year at Julys Independence Day. Since the July event was special, we would be more focused on advancing storylines for the big payoff at the July PPV.

Alicia Strong vs Cherry Bomb

Alicia continued to look like the best woman the division had to offer. Its amazing how over with the crowd she has become and pretty soon the womens division will be cranking out 4 star matches. Cherry Bomb could really use a win or two though, shes been on her back a lot recently.

He hands the 2 ladies a bottle of champagne, and the 2 ladies begin to giggle like 14 year old girls, and mutter out a thank you. At that point Bruce The Giant has seen enough, and walks over.

Bruce: Enough with the boy band crap AMM. You are going to make me throw up.
AMM: Sorry Giant, I was just mesmerized by their amazing aura and couldnt help myself.
Bruce then just decided to kick the crap out of AMM since he didnt shut up like he asked. The 2 ladies ran off screaming, while the Giant landed the chokeslam and treated AMM like a human rag doll.

Third Match: 41
Miss Sara and AMM vs Belle Bryden and Giant Redwood

In the first intergender match I ran since taking over the company, I had to explain the rules to the wrestlers. The men werent allowed to touch the ladies. This didnt stop Giant Redwood from powerslamming Miss Sara and getting his team disqualified. This match wasnt a really good one, but Redwood has just fallen out of favor with the fans and AMM isnt quite over yet.

J-Ro: How'd that powerslam feel? Does it feel just as bad as losing to me all the time?
Miss Sara: Very funny. I seem to recall pinning you once or twice. If you are so confident, why dont you put that belt on the line?
J-Ro: Ive already beaten you. Theres just no point.

Sam Strong was close by and heard the 2 arguing.

Strong: No point to it? Well there is a point now. I dont like you J-Ro, you are in cahoots with Jay Chord and cheated your way to the title. So guess what? You are going to be a very active champion. Next week, its J-Ro vs Miss Sara vs the debuting Amber Allen.

Sgt Bubba Lee West vs Brandon Smith

This match sucked but that was a given considering the popularity of the workers involved. I had Sgt. Bubba Lee West look very strong in this match, and he picked up a decisive victory over Brandon Smith who continues to job up the card.

My music hits and I enter the arena to a parade of boos.
Chord: Stone, I dont want to wait until DoI to get my hands on you. Lets go, right here, right now!
Stone: I already have a match tonight against Bryan Holmes Jay. And next week I take on Tyson Baine. You are just going to have to wait for your inevitable loss.

As you might have imagined, this match was a complete squash with Bruce The Giant looking like a complete monster.

I was expecting this match to be a lot better, which is saying something about the quality of wrestlers involved. Bryan Holmes put up a good fight but he just didnt have enough in the tank to beat Stone. Stone has really taken USPW by storm and its not all that surprising. In just 2 matches hes elevated himself into a legit star.

The Islanders are walking to the ring, as their match is next. On their way they see Aaron Jackson standing alone and for no apparent reason lay him out cold.

Bali was made to look amazing. He has risen up the card so fast and has really connected with the fans. Even though he was booked to appear strong, he still took the loss when Nicky hit him with not one but two hawkeye hammers. Bali kicked out of the first.

Dan Stone Jr (63 to 76) and Sgt Bubba Lee West (25 to 40) had a very successful night last night. USPW had a very bad night the following day. It appears SWF has offered a contract to Tyson Baine, and theres just no way hes going to resign with us. He'll have 3 more matches with USPW before inevitably joining SWF. That sucks. Redwood would also be leaving in 2 weeks, as we wouldnt be resigning him. Another possible problem down the road is Bruce The Giant. He expires in about 2 months, right before our biggest PPV of the year. I couldnt exactly book him for that PPV if I didnt even know he'd still be with the company. With his creative control clause, there would be no jobbing. It'd be up to Sam Strong.

I did however sign a few more wrestlers and assigned them to SCCW until I had a use for them.

On Saturday I successfully extended our TV contract and managed to steal Lauren Easter from NOTBPW and she would be appearing as soon as her contract started.

Gargantuan also signed, but he would get a few months at SCCW to improve his in ring work.
