What kind of info does a recruit give you back when you contact them? Also, Is this info logged automatically? Having to right down all the feedback a recruit gave was a big problem with TCY for me.

What information do we get from the scouting services about the recruits? Is it just their skills or does it include information on the recruits top school choices, visits, offers, etc.?

I agree about having to write down all the info about a recruiting visit in TCY...it is a major pain.

You can click the recruit card for any player and see his interest level, ratings, scouting report and all his feedback comments at any point in recruiting.

Writing it down? Why did you bother? Recruit responses makes no difference in the game. Only the HS coach telling you to stop calling matters, that you're wasting your resources if you contact beyond that point.

One visit to see if he's worth a scholarship, and an invitation to visit is all you need to do. Then if he visits you pump him up with calls (bribes if you want to) until his coach says 'stop.' Second visits and calls to non-visiting recruits are complete wastes.

So why write stuff down when it has no bearing on the game?

That's not true at all. The initial level of interest a recruit shows makes a big difference in whether you should pursue him or not.
