Ok so like the title says I'm Reimagining The WWF in 1989. I have set my roster to the 1989 roster.
(minus some jobbers/Some openers/some managers and Dusty Rhodes Which in my (Kayfab) story He left the company to go back to the NWA. Things will not happen as the did in real life. This is a completely Fictional take on the WWF going into the Wrestlemania V, and into the 90's

VM: Hello Everyone and welcome to this edition of Prime Time Wrestling. With me tonight is my broadcast partner Jesse " the body" Ventura.

JV: Wont you hurry up I have someplace better to be McMahon.

VM: Where exactly would that be Jess?

JV: Anywhere I wouldn't be sitting with you, McMahon.

VM: Well Jess sorry to inconvenience you but tonight we have 6 very important matches tonight leading up to the Royal Rumble in 2 weeks. three of which being Royal Rumble Qualifying spots. Also we have the Semi Finals of The Tag Team #1 contender tournament. And Finally the WWF Champion Randy Savage will face of against The Heenan Family's Andre The Giant. Thats a might large task for the Macho Man.

JV: Thats the smartest thing you have ever said McMahon. The WWF Champion has his hands full tonight. Because i'm sure Bobby Heenan will have something up his sleeve in that match.

VM: I'm sure of it Jess. But now lets go to the ring as our first Royal Rumble qualifier is beginning.

VM: There you Have it folks Hillbilly Jim is going to the Rumble.

JV: Yeah, The bumpkin wont last 3 seconds in the match with some of the others that made in in already McMahon.

VM: You never Know Jess stranger things have happened. But lets go backstage where I hear Gene Oakerlund has caught up with Bobby Heenan and Andre the Giant.

wow, TNM 7. Almost feels wrong having it on a TEW forum.

Actually I'm using both. TNM7 for the match write ups only and TEW10 for everything else (Contracts, wrestlers eaving and Returning, The grading process and more.) TNM& is just to get the feel of the matches right.

understood, I will say those are some long match ups for every fight. I would probably use TNM 7 to get a feel for the match but still use a smaller write up for postings. I used to love TNM 7 but never really read through the match ups and always skipped right to the end.

agreed they are long but not all of them are the same like the savage match was only 3 panels long

BH: No "Mean Gene" We are not here to make a statement to Savage. We are here to make a Challenge to the Macho Man. You see Randy as of right now you don't have an opponent to defend your title against at the Royal Rumble. and we are here to Remedy that. You see in tonights match I have a stipulation for you... Ok you listening Savage. If...... Or Should I say when Andre beats you, I will get to choose One of the Heenan Family Members to be your opponent at the Rumble For the title. Sounds fair enough doesn't it Gene.

MGO: With you Bobby Heenan, I doubt that anythings fair.

(Andre then grabs the mic.)
ATG: Savage YOUR WORLD TITLE REIGN IS COMING TO AND END. AND IT ALL STARTS TONIGHT WHEN I CRUSH YOU!

(Heenan and Andre Walk off)
MGO: Back to you Vince.

The Camera is now back on Vince and Ventura.

JV: I told you Vince that Heenan had something up his sleeve.

VM: He certainly did. Now we just have to find out what the Champ thinks about this. But lets go back to the ring for the first Semi Finals match for the WWF tag Team #1 contenders title.

THE BRAIN BUSTERS Defeated The Rockers at 6:53
When Arn Anderson pined Marty Janetty after a spike Piledriver.

VM: The Brainbusters advance to the finals.

JV: Bobby Heenan is a Genius, McMahon. When The Brainbusters win this tournament, and Andre destroys Savage tonight He'll Have competitors booked in every title match at the Royal Rumble. With Rick Rude already going up against the Ultimate Warrior for the Intercontinental title. And after the Rumble, McMahon. Heenan will have all the Gold.

VM: Well you may be right Jess but we aren't even sure that the Macho Man will even except the challenge laid down by Bobby Heenan earlier tonight.

JV: If he doesn't McMahon it will just Prove that The Macho Man is nothing but a coward.

VM: What ever you Say Jess, But now its time for the Second Royal Rumble Qualifier. Lets go to the ring.

BAD NEWS BROWN defeated Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake at 12:57 Via Count Out
After Brown Knocked Brutus unconscious after a piledriver on the arena floor.

VM:Well its Official Bad News Brown Will Be in The Royal RUmble.

JV: After What he just did to The Barber He deserves to be in McMahon.

VM:It looks Like Beefcake may be seriously injured down there Jess. How Could you say such a thing.

JV:Ohh, Get a back bone McMahon.

VM: Well lets go back to Mean Gene Okerlund who has some exciting news for us. Gene?


The Camera switches Back to "Mean" Gene Okerlund.

MGO: Thank You Vince. With me at this time "The WWF Champion" The Macho Man Randy Savage.(Savage Enters the Interview area.) I know you heard Bobby Heenan's challenge from earlier. We are all waiting to hear your Response.

MMRS:OOHHH YEAH.. MEAN GENE. I HEARD WHAT HEENAN SAID. AND I SAY BRING IT ON THERE IS NOTHING THAT I CANT DO AND NO ONE THAT I CAN'T BEAT BECAUSE NOT ONLY AM I THE GREATEST WWF CHAMPION THERE HAS EVER BEEN AND I'M THE GREATEST PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER IN THIS COMPANY. AND NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE THIS BELT AWAY FROM ME! OOOHHH YEAH!
(Macho Man stomps out of the area.)

MGO:There you have it folks the stipulation has been accepted. Back to you Vince.

VM: Thank you Gene. Now lets Go back to ringside for the next Match.

OWEN HART Defeated Mr. Perfect at 00:05 via pin
After Owen rolled up Perfect with the Schoolboy pin while Perfect was telling the fans how this match was going to be a piece of cake.

VM: The Perfect One lostin under 10 seconds that has got to be a new WWF record.

JV:They need to restart that match McMahon. Perfect wasn't ready. That was really unfair Mcmahon.

VM:Never the less Owen Hart the younger brother of Bret Hart wins his Debut Match and go on to be in The Royal Rumble just 2 weeks away. And speaking of Bret Hart. lets go to the ring now where The Hart Foundation will face the Twin Towers in our second Semi Final of the WWF Tag Team #1 Contender tournament.

After Slick was caught interfering in the match.

VM: Thats where cheating gets you, Jess.

JV: You Goody Two Shoes, McMahon. Cheating is a way of life one day you'll figure that out, McMahon.

VM: What ever you say, Jess. But now lets Go Back to the ring for our Main Event.

ANDRE THE GIANT defeated "The Macho Man" Randy Savage at 3:30 Via DQ
After the ref did a quick count while Savage was on the outside.

After the match Randy Savage went after the Ref who escaped the ring and Heenan handed him a Black Briefcase. Savage Then went after Heenan but Found himself surrounded by the members of the Heenan Family. Who attacked. Then the crowd let out an uproar as out of the locker rooms ran Hulk Hogan who took out a couple Heenan Family members before they began to retreat

VM: What was that. Thank goodness the Hulkster was here to help. But what was that Referee thinking? What was in that Briefcase

JV: If I know Heenan, it was money, McMahon. And that Ref was thinking with his wallet. Like i told you Bobby Heenan had something up his sleeve. and alot of money in a briefcase.

VM:Well never the less this means that a Heenan Family Member will get a shot at the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble. But which one I guess we will find out at Superstars.
