Hey everybody.
Quite some time ago on the old TEW boards a fellow named King Nate had an idea for a video game wrestling verse. I dont know what ever came of him or it but it was a tremendous idea or so I thought. I thought it would be cool. I spent the past month creating a verse based off of various things but the overriding factor was Fire Pro Wrestling. After about a month, I finished it up. I've never done anything like this and as do most people who say they are going to do a verse mod, in the past I would start one and then I wouldn't finish it. At any rate, this time I did. It took almost a month. I will post some information about it, but I have to let you all know, I did this alone. I didn't have any help really and I am not anywhere NEAR as good as Rick Arnold and the RAVEX team or the T-ZONE guys and IMO the new king of MODS D. Boon, my MOD is just a fan mod I guess. When I made it, I had in mind the whole idea of how I'd heard before I bought TEW, that when a worker reaches a certain level of overness they become legendery status and then from there they cant really fall in popularity too much. In alot of mods and stats I see alot of very high overness stuff that I just totally disagree with. In my verse here I've tried to make it special to have a worker with that huge of overness. There are few who are. The verse takes place somewhere in the mix of FirePro Wrestling D and Fire Pro Wrestling Z, dude I had no freakin' money at all last year I had to pawn my PS2, got a new one but I dont have it converted, cant play imports but I really am dying for FP Returns. Anyway, what I went ahead and did was actually got a list of all the federations [taking from FPD] and the real names and the generic names, the "fake" federations and what have you and over the course of some time I formulated something that I thought would work. When I ran it, I don't know what to say, I think it was going good but I don't know. Again, I plead my ignorance here cause I havent done this before so I dont want people to expect alot and then watch it suck. What would be really great is if a group or a person out there who gets this MOD fixes it up really nicely [better than I can] and makes it perfect.

I added alot of wrestlers too that arent in FP games.

Here is the information about the game that I can give you guys:

PROMOTIONS:

NORTH AMERICA:

CANADA:

(Note: Of all the continents/countries, Canada is the one probably most influenced by the Cornell Verse. Yeah, I even threw the Cornell Verse in there for Cornell Verse fans since I think TEW and the original TEW data is already cutting edge enough to go down as legendery in wrestling gaming. So, Cornell Verse fans would be pleased to see the C-Verse in here.)
TOTAL CANADIAN WRESTLING [TCW] -

TCW is a brand split organization run by the former Canadian powers George DeColt and Dan Stone. On one hand you have the Stone family on their brand and on the other the DeColt family.

PUNK ROCK WRESTLING [PRW] -

British Colombias garbage, hardhitting company. Started by Gerry Every, lead singer of death punk band The Misfortunes, whom himself had a tenure in the WWC with his bandmates. The PRW was originally a side attraction at their concerts but they elected to make it a full time venture.

INDEPENDENT UNION [I.U] -

Hardcore fans will remember the I.U's appearance in the legendery WCW vs NWO: World Tour. Well, it's back! Black Ninja lovers, AKI Man fans and Dr. FRANK fanatics unite.

DEAD OR ALIVE WRESTLING [DoA]

You same hardcore loonies will remember DoA in its debut in WCW vs NWO: World Tour. Ali Baba, Han Zo Man, Hannibal and all youre favorites are back.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA [U.S.A]:

WORLD FORCE WRESTLING [WFW]:

The World Wide Leaders in Wrestling, WFW, run by Dink KaKrackon [I did not make his name up.] Although the WWC had beat them down almost into bankruptcy but a few years ago, the once global leader is back to power in WFW, Steam Odin [Real Life: Stone Cold Steve Austin] and Luck Lepia [Real Life: The Rock] have lead them to the top in the Rough Edge era of wrestling, but Luck Lepia is a movie star now and some say the Steam is running off Steam Odin, meanwhile, KaKrackons son in law, Trouble J, possibly the most hated man in the business, is on a backstage tirade holding everybody down they better be careful or else........

WORLD WRESTLING CHAMPIONS [WWC]:

They make a claim as to having the most legit belt in the world, with its legacy dating back to the early 20th century. WWC is the product of Atlanta Never, the TV tycoon who bought out the old NMA company. WWC was long considered the number two company but in 1996, with Spott Koss [real life Scott Hall] and Rebin Gasher [real life: Kevin Nash] jumping ship unexpectedly, the WWC launched a revolution and the evil hWo took over and made WWC number 1. They hold in their possession the most iconic wrestler in the history of the sport, bar none, Ax Duggan [real life: Hulk Hogan] and the WWC, the richest company in the world, almost destroyed the worldwide leaders, WFW. But for some time now they have been falling behind the WFW, and nobody knows why, or what to do. Perhaps their answer lies in a star who works for.....

XTREME WRESTLING ALLINACE [XWA]

Peter Greetingsir, one of the most gifted writers and wrestling minds formulated over the years this cutting edge Hardcore style, based in the Tri State area. They have a major fan following in their home town and are even said to be held in high regard by Dink KaKrackon whom admires Greetingsirs creative ability and testicular fortitude [for lack of better words.] With possibly the brightest prospect in the US as one of their top men, Rog RanDom [Real life: RVD] and some true looney tunes, like the crazy Tattoo [real life: Sabu] who knows what to expect out of Americas new contender for power in the formally big 2 now big 3!

POWER MOVE PRO WRESTLING [PMPW]:

POWER MOVE PRO WRESTLING fans need not wait for what will never come, a PMPW sequel, because The Commandant, Agent Orange, Area 51 and the man who gets all of the women, some of the men, Lance, they're all back and they are an indy company running events in the US. [BTW, Beavis and Butthead are in the crowd in this game.]

But some people dont like wrestling, some people like

GRUESOME FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS [GFC]

Since 1993, Dina Black and the company he represents created the Mixed Martial Arts revolutionary GFC. This shoot fighting promotion is well known and respected by everybody. Voice Stacie [Real Life: Royce Gracie: Kane Harlock [Real Life: Ken Shamrock] and others made this bloody, brutal company famous.

MEXICO:

TRIPLE A [TRIPLE A]:

The Mexican scene is a monopoly, Triple A, the legendery organization that has run for years now, is still thriving and still loved by all.

(Yes, pretty bland.)

UNITED KINGDOM:

COMMONWEALTH WRESTLING ALLIANCE COMBAT [CWAC]:

Originally known as CWA years ago before it shut down, ever since it debuted the record setting wrestling program, SATURDAY NIGHT SLAM MASTERS, CWAC has been the biggest deal in all of the UK. When former bodybuilder turned indy wrestler turned mayor, turned city savior, turned wrestling star, Mike Haggar [Final Fight] decided to leave the USA to move to the UK, he brought his money and concept and reputation with him. Buying the CWA and relaunching it as CWAC, and the good guys vs. Blood Wrestling Alliance rivalry that has taken the UK by storm, can be seen every saturday night on the UKs most watched sporting program: Saturday Night Slam Masters.

TECMO WORLD WRESTLING [TWW]:

Created by the most iconic figure in the history of the UNITED KINGDOM wrestling scene, Raiden [Fatal Fury] TWW is trying to promote a Hybrid style and bring people from all walks of the business in. Akira Dragon, Rex Beat, Dr. Guildo and others are there to try and take the UK by storm.

JAPAN:

VIEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING [VJPW]

Victory Musashi, the god of puroresu and of the fighting spirit is the owner of Japans biggest country, and this is his final year as a wrestler. The icon is on his way down the "Legends Road" and this year will be his final year of touring. VJPW are the "Leaders of Sports."

OLIVE JAPAN PRO WRESTLING [OJPW]

Created by Great Shiba, wrestlings second God, most probably. Great Shiba and Inoki have been business rivals for years now, and OJPW is a major contender for the number 1 spot and always have been, and, possibly, at times, even were the Kings.

SUPER NOVA [NOVA]

Mitsuhide Hikawa [real life: Misawa] the OJPWs superstar for years broke off to form this shocking, bright burning star, SUPER NOVA, and they are quickly on the rise. Definitely a force to be reckoned with, who knows what to expect from NOVA especially now that arguably the most decorated man in wrestling, and the only man to have been, WFW, WWC, VJPW and OJPW world champion, possibly the best big man ever, "BIG BAD SABER" is there!

NEW INDEPENDENT WORLD [NIW]

The NIW, owned by the father of hardcore wrestling, Katsushi Okita, has been one of the most influential organizations in the world, innovating the hardcore style and with them, possibly the best in the world, the Flapping Phoenix, Ranmal.

NORTH EASTERN PRO WRESTLING [NEPW] "YUKIGUNI PURORESU"

Created by the legendery Blade Hayate, YUKIGUNI-Puro is a lucha style organization out in Japan that has been operating for quite some time now and boasts some of the best in ring and most colorful workers around!

ZIP Japan Pro Wrestling [ZIP]

The garbage federation, ZIP Japan, takes extreme to a whole nother level! Using a similar idea as NIW, except even more bloody and even more brutal, if you could believe it! [and I know you can't!]

Choryuukan: Super Dragon Pavilion [CHORYUUKAN]

A new concept run by Azteca Dragon. Choryuukan has some very entertaining, very exciting and very potential-filled wrestlers on their roster, most all of which are proteges of the great Azteca Dragon himself.

WOMENS PRO WRESTLING [WPW]:

Womens Pro Wrestling, the Joshi empire, the top womens organization in the world is still running strong today despite the decline in interest in womens wrestling, although it isnt the early 90s anymore, Joshi fans still are loyal to WPW!

GONGS:

GONGS is a pseudo MMA, shoot fighting product with pro wrestling elements to it. They have actually been in business for quite some time but just cant seem to launch themself into the superstar stratosphere, maybe its YOU who can bring them to the top!

BLADE Championship Fighting [BLADE]:

BLADE is the worlds leader in MMA, even more so than Gruesome Fighting. It was here that the Beast, Beast Sappo [Bob Sapp] made his impact in Japan and it was here where so many legendery, bloody, brutal, prolific bouts went down!

Along with all of these organiztions, there is even more.

Characters from games like Wrestle War, TEKKEN, Street Fighter, Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 2's sequels, Rumble Roses, 3 Count Bout, Champion Wrestler, Nintendo's Pro Wrestling, Hammerlock Wrestling, Fatal Fury, Streets of Rage, Streets of Rage 2, The Main Event, WCW vs The World, PUNCH OUT! and interpreted celebrities from real life, interpreted athletes from the NHL, NBA, NFL, the world of pro Boxing, MMA, The Cornell Verse, some personally created characters and others... are all in here...

LOL
did I sell you guys yet? Okay well, I hope so! heres the problem, I am an idiot, I don't know how to work a damn thing if it isn't spelled out to me and so I don't know what to do about getting this stuff up here. Please, dont even try to explain it to me, I've reached out to people, and I'm just slow. So if you're interested in this game, you can reach me on AIM at MevsTheWorld or via email at MevsTheWorld@aol.com and I can get it to you and I would like to hope that somebody can take this mess I made and turn it into something really cool and more importantly somebody can take this and put it up on a site for me. That would be great and I hope to hear from some of you about trying this game out.

Thanks for your time.

Gino

Is there any documentation about who you have added specifically.
As I would like this data, but I would prefer to remove the Cornellverse wrestlers if possible.

Hm? I'm not quite sure what you mean.
Who I've added?
Well the game contains aroun 1,005 wrestlers. I dont have a complete list of who is in it but of the 1,005 wrestlers possibly 100 are imported from the cornellverse and then statistically adjusted to fit the musashi-verse. Every wrestler in this data has had specific individual attention paid to them, almost every single contract for 22 federations has a different bio than the one provided. This data is unique in many ways. I spent alot of time on it its too bad either nobody wanted to play it, nobody likes it, or the worse crime of all that nobody has heard of or played Fire Pro Wrestling. If people have tried this out id love to hear some opinions [if it sucks it sucks if its cool its cool. I didnt predict DOTT coming out at the same time but i think that its awesome that TEW 2005 already has a tone of scenarios out with DarkFires, the C-Verse plus, the cornellverse, T-ZONE, RAVEX, mine and so on, its awesome to have all this variety and its only been out now for about two months, by the end of the year there will be so much data there is going to be ridiculous amounts of replayability.

Anyway, perhaps I will do a list of whose in the game at some point. But I'm not quite sure your question, there is about 100 cornellverse workers in the game and theyre not really all the top superstars of the cornellverse data and are primarily free agents or in Canada.
Thanks for the ?

any other ?s comments concerns id love to hear em thanks alot

I would like to ask your permission retroactively to use some wrestlers you created for my Cornellverse addition. Actually I revised it and took most of them out so my mod could be well, mine. But another mod maker would like to ask your permission also so consider this a bump.

I apologize for not trying harder to search the forum so I could ask your permission but it was pretty low key at first.

Hey.
Sure, I dont mind if you use it at all.
To be honest though, this mod is currently being revamped and redeveloped to meet a much more higher standard as I have learned a good deal more since putting this out way back when and I intend to put out a newer, better version sometime in the future, but as far as your mod goes absolutely go right ahead, as a matter of fact, that would be that Kebrick fellow he contacted me and I even sent him another mod I worked on with 1,300 workers (99% of which have pics) more than half of them are all original too so you can ask him if he would send that your way for more help on your mod. Good luck and Fire Pro will return and this time it will be so much better!

Thanks. I thought your mod was very clever last time so I'm excited to see improvements. The only reason I heavily edited your wrestlers is because they were a different scale as compared to the Cornellverse. I believe you did the same in reverse (modded the Cornellverse workers to fit in the Musashi Verse).

The only reason I took your guys & the Damaged Verse guys out was so that my mod could have all original workers although Jester Jax & Mr. Incredible still have the base of your guys.

Looking forward to your mod. If any of my workers intrest you feel free to use them of course.
