I dont like the way it is handled in the game.

I think it should be as it is in real life.

This is something I would like to see changed.

IRL, players can be suspended twice a year, before the season and at the end of the semester (near end of the season).

We need to be punished if we recruit stupid players. :)

AGREE, keep it real.

I don't think you're right about this. Normal students can have academic action taken against them at the end of each semester, so twice a year, but athletes are monitored a lot more closely, I'm pretty sure. Or else you couldn't have football players suspended mid-season, which does happen.

Too much reality is not fun. We have talked to Arlie about this issue in the past. After playing several seasons in which you lose quite a few games because of players lack of intelligence it can be downright frustrating.

Maybe it should be a toggle, then. I personally like the realism. It forces you to recruit more carefully. At least you have some recourse through study hours in this game. In TDCB you just had to pray they got their grades up. :)

Trust Cody and me when we say that you really wouldn't like the realism. Arlie has had to do some major tweaking because we had teams that could have fielded a complete 22-player team on the suspension list (though only about 20% got suspended). There doesn't seem to be enough Underwater Basketweaving 101 classes for our dummies to take like irl either, so view it as a trade-off.
