*Chants are heard*
Ring of Honor Ring of Honor Ring of Honor!!

This is something special. Something that wrestling can be proud of. Something thats full potential has yet to have been tapped. Something that people want to be a part of...

Thats all I could think about all day... It was January 1st 2006. Gabe Sapolsky said he wanted to focus on building up Full Impact Pro and give someone else ownership of ROH. I could not believe it. Gabe has made something so great and now he wants to give it to someone else. I had to make sure that with all my power it went to someone deserving.

I got my initial start with Ring of Honor in May of 2005. I started out as Ring Crew learning some behind the scenes things. Gabe one day came up to me and said we were short a referee. I asked him what I could do and all he did was gave me a shirt and told me to get the job done. I was ecstatic. I refereed Matt Sydal vs. El Generico the opening match of Final Battle 2005. It was awesome. I talked with Gabe some more and more over the next few weeks and had lots of booking ideas. Gabe then promoted me up to assistant marketing director.

Then it happened. I was backstage and Gabe told everyone what he was doing. There was a lot of shock. At the end of the show Gabe told everyone his three choices for the new booker and owner of Ring of Honor. Myself.. Joshua Montgomery, Ace Steele and Raven. The next day the whole roster had a meeting to vote in the new owner and booker. Raven resigned from the race. The roster voted for me with a 59 percentile. I was so ecstatic.

Here is my chance to shine and show everyone what Ring of Honor is about. Its time for Ring of Honor to be able to do there shows on TV and PPV. Its time for Ring of Honor to make people proud to say they are a wrestling fan again.

Well here goes...

My ROH Game messed up after my most recent post because I did not shut it down properly. So now I will be restarting. Basically the same stuff but the fueds and stuff will be essentially different. Storm vs. Danielson is still on though! I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Also each House Show will now have a correct title to it.

January Week 1 Newswire:
The fued between The Eymbassy and GenNext has not settled down at all in recent months. After both teams took some time off from ROH Shelley and Aries got into a match at a recent TNA PPV in which Rave and Nana got involved in as well.

ROH is pleased to announce the aquisitions of the following. Arik Cannon, Lance Storm, Larry Sweeney, Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush.

Jushin Lyger has expressed interest in doing more ROH shows in the future.

ROH is looking into expanding its market to the Florida area.

There will be a special number 1 contenders tournament for the ROH Pure Title the following weeks on the House Shows.

Aj Styles's attitude has been very different over recent weeks. He seems to have more of a ****y and brash attitude and a lot of stars are beggining to notice.

ROH House Show Number 1 Preview (Reign of Honor)

Lance Storm will be in attendance.

ROH Pure Wrestling Tournament begins.
Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries

ROH Reign of Honor

Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries
Alex Shelley and Austin Aries had a what I would call a *** opening match in this one. Shelley hit the Shellshock on Aries and that was all she wrote. Who is she I wonder?
Time: 19 Minutes

Danielson is about cutting a promo in the ring. He goes over and shakes Lance Storm's hand. Danielson says he challenges Storm to a match but Storm just sits there and smiles saying no thanks.

Pretty good six man tag match. Joe gets the win over Sabin after an Island Driver.

Jimmy Jacobs vs. Bryan Danielson
This match went for about 20 minutes until Justin Credible jumped the guard rail from the crowd and nailed Danielson with a superkick. Jacobs attempted to make the save until Peter Polaco ran in and attacked him. Peter and Lance reunite the Impact Players as the House Show ends!
Rating: C+
Time: 23 Minutes

Final: C
Attendance: 2,000
Notes: Hurt Popularity Perhaps
Bank Balance: Up to $201,250

Newswire:

Jushin Lyger is expected to be in attendance at an upcoming house show. Lyger has stated that he talked with ROH recently at a TNA Event he was at. He says he is coming back to ROH because he is unpleased with the attitude of a certain ROH Star named AJ Styles. He says AJ has tons of potential but a mouth that holds him back. What will become of this?

ROH is beginning to negotiate with some networks about carrying ROH programming. Nothing big just kind of like a preview thing. Maybe one ROH Classic Match.

The Impact Players mean business. They have come into ROH to resparkle the old Hardcore fire that a lot of fans have.

ROH Honor, Pride and Glory will be held in the Sunshine State of Florida!

ROH Honor, Pride and Glory Preview Card:

I'm a HUGE Ring Of Honor fan, in fact if you ever get the chance to check out my ECW diary it is essentially filled with ROH guys. Anyways about you...

I like the signing of Larry Sweeney (love his entrance:More, more, more) and I like how you're getting the students (Andrews, Hagadorn) involved

Look forward to seeing your first set of results

From a HTML Point of view, colors or bold would be nice
From a Fan point of view, I don't know, how about rumors or the newswire. You know what it is right?

I like Sydal getting the win, he seems like he is poised to be one of the Indy's breakout stars of 2006.

I should have known that the Briscoes would be the mystery tag team. Every ROH is clamoring for the day when/if they return to ROH

Good stuff
Diary is definately becoming more appealing to the eye!

1) Rave can't use the clash anymore.

2) Low Ki doesn't lose, well, ever. To have Generico beat him would be unrealistic ;)

1. Crap I forgot

2. Generico is the man

theunholyicon

Meh, hes comedy, and a finisher.

To me anyways. Was an ROH flavour of the week.

Much like James Gibson, and everyone saying he was MVP of 2005 was mainly because the ROH fans on the ROH forum went crazy over him and I don't know why.

And if you look, Low Ki rarely EVER loses. People call him the HHH of ROH, meaning he doesn't want to do the job, but I just think thats how Gabes booking him, on purpose.

Gave Lethal the rub when he beat him, thats for sure.

Chuck
12-06-2005, 03:34 PM
I still enjoy Generico. He has a lot of skill in my honest opinion.

Ki yes could be considered the Triple H of ROH but I hate booking a no lose character.

Ki is also undependable for me because every big event on Friday or Saturday he has prior commitments. Lyger always has Thurdsay commitments as well.

Heres a little preview for the card going up tonight:

4 Way ROH Pure Wrestling Title Number 1 Contenders Match in which the winner will face Sydal in a best of seven series
Chris Hero vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Aj Styles vs. Alex Shelley

ROH Tag Team Champions state an open challenge to any tag team for a non title match

Austin Aries and new ROH Pure Champion Matt Sydal vs. Alex Shelley and Fast Eddie

Homicide vs. Kevin Steen!

Card looks good, but did you mean to have Shelly wrestle twice?

Well I am having to shut it down AGAIN! MY TEW keeps messing up the files. However I promise I will start again sometime later this week. THIS IS GAY
