What's his name, the agent of Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer in the 60s? He revolutionalized sports management. He has a sports agent simulator that came out in the 80s. The guy is dead now but his company is today one of the top three sports management company.
His game was fun once and boring after because no matter what you did, you ended up at the same place. It was more about playing as him and based on the actual event of what he did. But an actual game on this topic has yet to be done.
You would go to party and build your network. Set up meeting and negotiate contracts with athletes, represent them by calling people from your network to set up endorsement deals and participation into events, build the company, go into multiple sports - that require a bigger network to be successful - then hire employees and delegate task like accounting for Arnold (2hrs a week task to employee A) and representing Arnold at events (8 hrs a week task to employee B).
Then competitor try to steel your talent, you try to do the same by offering to take a lower cut - reducing your revenue while trying to maintain profit. Your atheltes might not be happy with the level of representation and revenue you are bringing them so they tell you before leaving to give you a chance to ractify it. Taking it even further, organizing an event that puts your athlete in the spotlight.
