Is for TDCB 2. I would love to see the college game similar to TPB 2005 (layout wise and 2d display) and more interaction between importing players into TPB 2005.

Although I am not a basketball fan, I have to agree. I may be on my way of purchasing TPB2005. I've heard some good things about it but I have yet to try the demo. Maybe I'll do that tonight. ;)

Do so Maximus, as I've said before, I'm not an NBA fan by any means.. but TPB is quite an immpressive sports sim.
The thing I really like is how nice the default player pics, logos, interface, etc.. looks in the game. No messing around, just starting my league and getting into the game. Even with no manual present in the demo, the game was easy to navigate after about 2-3 days of on and off playing.
Support has been top notch as well.

I dunno but all I know is one guy on staff made a basketball game with the layout you like and a 2D game engine so it would seem possible now wouldn't it? :)

Actually, I figured TDCB 2 would follow in the footsteps of TPB. At least if it was recieved well, and it appears to have so far. I would think it would be much easier to use the "skin" from TPB 2005 and have Arlie rework his engine into the model.

You have to keep in mind that TDCB and all of its code stays with .400. So, only one Grey Dog developer has any basketball code he can use for a college game.

TDCB is an awesome game, I've been hooked since I tried the demo. If TDCB2 ever comes out I promise to squeal like a little girl.

It certainly would be nice to see a reworked TDCB. To me this is a classic game that has set the standard for many of the other text games to measure up to. TPB2005 is very much in the same league in terms of play and quality.

I concur. Also, a new football game with more in game control.

I would also like to see an updated version of TDCB under this company. I notice that all college basketball questions are directed to this site. I am trying to currently setup a local College Basketball Scenario utilizing Tournament Dreams. We will begin making the website during the month of February. May be asking quite a few questions before it is over.
