Night Three
Huh? He stared at his target, a completely confused look on his face. This must be some kind of sick joke. He sat on a log an kept an eye on his target, far more focused on how he could've wound up back here again. He couldn't even begin to explain it. He had every intention on visiting someone specific tonight, and yet he wound up back with this.
Quick rub of the eyes to make sure.
Still, this.

Even at his speed, this place was massive. He'd already spent far too long hunting down his target tonight. With one leap he was on the castle wall, and within seconds he'd found his way to it's highest point. He could see nearly everything from up here.
Nothing.
This is unacceptable.

Another had been running around town all night for reasons of his own. He'd already finished part of his night's work when he was stopped by something strange banging into his legs. He dropped to a knee and seemed completely amazed by what he saw inside.
So amazed he watched.
It left once he was done watching, both on to do more work.

It was all she could do to get to the door when she heard him knocking. As the door opened her body fell forward, into his arms. He helped her to lean on the door frame and smiled. Normally, this required some talking. This one should be easy.
"I know." He offered his hand and she shook it. He turned to leave and she closed the door, feeling a little better. He made it a few steps before he froze, heavy footsteps of the dog headed beast approaching. They got faster, turning into a full run. He heard a smash, and then a second as the beast knocked a front door out of his way from inside without slowing.
Just as the beast got within striking distance, it's prey was swept into the air and carried off.
