Pre-Show New Japan Rumble

SANADA came out victorious in the annual Dark Rumble match after coming out at the last spot and eliminating the remaining three men in Katsuya Kitamura, Yuji Nagata & YOSHI-HASHI. Surprise entrants were Cheeseburger of ROH and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Scott Norton, who were both elimated by Kitamura. Tomoyuki Oka had the most elimations as he and Kitamura held control of the match for an extended period of time making short work of several fellow Young Lions and Juniors. 77 B





BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi defeated Funky Future and The Young Bucks in 13:43 to win the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Titles when BUSHI hit MX on Taguchi 82 B

Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tanga Roa defeated Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr & El Desperado in 10:54 to win the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Titles when Tama Tonga hit a Gun Stun on El Desperado 75 B-

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Juice Robinson defeated War Machine in 13:43 to win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles when Hiroshi & Juice hit stereo High Fly Flows 87 B+
After the match Tanahashi took to the mic and thanked the fans for coming out tonight, he promised that although it was great fun to team with Juice tonight he plans on getting back to where the ace should be on the biggest show of the year, at the top.

Tetsuya Naito defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title in 42:40 when Naito win two Destinos in a row to pin Okada. 99 A*
The other members of Los Ingobernables de Japon joined Naito in the ring to celebrate the end of Okada's record breaking reign on a great evening for all members of the group.
