Post-match David Finlay told the media that he's had enough of being stuck in early matches with young lions so he's going away for a while to the UK and promised to return later in the year.

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Juice Robinson make defense number 1 of the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles

As the young lions from ringside were helping Goto and Ishii to the back, two men in street clothes ran through the crowd and slid into the ring and started attacking Juice and Tanahashi, they were revealed as KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji. KENTA took to the mic and cut a promo about how he had wasted too much of his career in the time he's spent in America and that he knew he had to make an immediate impact upon arrival and that there is nobody better to attack than the man he's wanted to face for so many years and his goofy friend that's holding him back.

KUSHIDA defeated Kazuchika Okada in 29:04 when KUSHIDA used Back to the Future 96 A*
Backstage after the match, Gedo took all questions on behalf of the Rainmaker while Okada sat there staring at the ground.
Gedo voiced his disapproval with his main man in losing two high profile singles matches in a row and told Okada that next up is the New Japan Cup, which is a must win tournament for Chaos.

Kenny Omega defeated SANADA in 34:43 to retain the IWGP Intercontinental & United States Titles when Omega used the One Winged Angel 90 A
