Its that time again Ladies and Gentlemen.....time for the number one show in all of professional wrestling.....from the number one company in all of professional wrestling.....it's time....for Monday Night Raw.....are you ready? Because the KLiQ are ready.....and here they are.....walking down the aisle before the commentators even have chance to welcome us to the show. They strut around ringside, trading insults with Jerry "The King" Lawler, before finally entering the squared circle, microphones in hand.

This is a far more united KLiQ than we have seen in the weeks leading up to tonight.....Shawn Michaels reveal that he was implementing the no title shot rule to their opponents should the KLiQ win at Survivor Series, seem to have gone a long way towards mending bridges....along with Michaels and Nash's successful outing as a team last week, means the group is looking pretty happy. The WWF Champion brings the microphone to his mouth and prepares to speak.....but stops himself, shaking his head, before dramatically passing the microphone to Kevin Nash.....who over-emphasises a look of shock, before laughing and taking the stick.

Nash says it's funny.....three weeks ago the easy money was on the KLiQ coming out here....having a little falling out....seeing tempers flare....maybe a shove here.....a push there......but here we are......and when the going gets tough, the KLiQ gets tougher. Nash says instead of him and Shawn out here at each other's throats.....it's their opponents that just can't get along.....

".....and guess what boys.....you keep fighting amongst yourselves....because when you've done laying each other out, we'll be there to pick up the pieces......just like we'll be there to pick up OUR Championship Belts after the match......oh......and those are Championship Belts that you shmucks......won't be having a shot at again....."

The KLiQ find that hilarious.....apart from Sean Waltman....who says that HE would be standing here with a Championship belt too right now, if it wasn't for Stone Cold Steve Austin sticking his big bald head where it didn't belong.....he tells Austin that come Survivor Series, he's going to make sure that it's HIM that eliminates Stone Cold.

Justin Credible even gets in on the action, saying that while Waltman is busy eliminating Austin from the Survivor Series match....he's going to be eliminating Jerry Lawler from the Raw announce Table. Lawler quips on commentary however that the only think that will be eliminated is the rodent type features of Credible, when he does the world a favour and puts that jockstrap back over his ugly mug.

Finally Michaels (over) graciously takes the microphone, before telling the crowd to take a good look at the sight before them.....the Heartbreak Kid, your WWF Champion.....Big Sexy Kevin Nash and the Bad Guy, Scott Hall....YOUR WWF Tag Team Champions......and that's not gonna change now.....and it's certainly not going to change after the Survivor Series.....

".....because while the black and white express keeps chugging along down the tracks.....Austin, Pillman....the Fart Brothers.....they're just gonna be spinning their wheels....with no chance of gold.....nothing to fight for.....and no reason to be here.....because the KLiQ is just too sweet.....and boys.....we ain't going nowhere...."

Apparently El Presidente has something to say....because Gorilla Monsoon makes his way out onto the entrance way.....he tells Waltman that he doesn't have to wait until Survivor Series to get his hands on Steve Austin.....because he's going to be going one on one with Stone Cold tonight.....

"......and as for you Mr. Michaels.....you may well feel that you have tipped the scales in your favour.....and yes, should the KLiQ be victorious at Survivor Series, The Harts, Mr. Austin and Mr. Pillman will NOT be eligible to challenge for any Championship held by you "gentlemen"....and I use that term loosely....but Survivor Series is still two weeks away......and YOU Shawn Michaels might not even be the WWF Champion by then......"

Monsoon says that he may have had some fine print added to his contract.....but that doesn't change the terms and conditions that come with holding gold here in the WWF......and those terms clearly state that ALL Championships must be defended within a thirty day window......and since the Title is NOT on the line at the Survivor Series....it's going to be on the line tonight.....against the man who defeated you not so long ago on Monday Night Raw......and that man.....is the Loose Cannon, Brian Pillman.....good luck.

With that Monsoon turns and heads to the back, leaving Shawn Michaels to throw a trademark hissy fit as the rest of the KLiQ attempt to calm him down.

This one truly had it all.....high flying death defying action....technical prowess....psychology up the yoo-ha....submission masterclasses......ok.....I'm lying.....it had none of that......it did have a hell of a lot of smash-mouth action though.....and the crowd loved it. Psycho Sid, for all of his shortcomings, is never not over....and since turning his allegiances towards the power of money and the Million Dollar Corporation, the fans have certainly not been shy about letting Rich Steiner know how they feel about him.

The Intercontinental Championship wasn't on the line tonight....but as Brian Pillman just found out, beating a Champion in a non-title match gives you a pretty good chance of getting a shot at the gold somewhere down the line...couple that with Sid's ongoing issues with the Corporation and it makes for a pretty fired up Psycho Sid. Steiner on the other hand clearly feels like he has nothing to gain here.....a fact that he demonstrates come the end of the march.....when DiBiase yanks his client free of a Sid Powerbomb attempt, and Steiner takes a walk up the aisle way, forcing the official to count him out and award the match to Sid.

Winner: Psycho Sid (via Count-Out)

Sid takes the victory, but it wasn't the victory he had in mind clearly....because while Steiner is busy in the aisle strapping his Intercontinental Championship around his waist, Sid is screaming at him from the ring to ".....get his ass back down here and fight like a man....."

Steiner isn't interested however.....and neither is DiBiase, as both of them shrug the challenge off and turn to head to the back.....which is when Ahmed Johnson and the British Bulldog come walking out onto the entrance way, blocking Steiners exit. The stand, hands on hips shaking their heads....before advancing on The Intercontinental Champion, backing him up back towards the ring and the waiting Psycho Sid.......

......fortunately the Million Dollar Man has always got a plan.....and Southern Justice come running out from the back, blindsiding Ahmed and Davey Boy from behind.....just as Jeff Jarrett hops the barricade behind Psycho Sid, sliding into the ring.....and nailing him with a vicious guitar shot that knocks him down. Steiner joins Jarrett in the ring and the two men put the boots to Sid, while Southern Justice and even Ted DiBiase continue to stamp out Johnson and the Bulldog in the aisle, until finally DiBiase decides they've had enough, and the entire Corporation climb into the ring with their arms raised as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial and go straight to the back, where we find Al Snow hunched over a table, scouring over pictures of what look to be still images from the same video Al was watching last week.....Al isn't exactly dressed in his usual attire however....he has a deerstalker hat on his head....a ridiculously large magnifying glass.....as well as a long tweed coat and a smoking pipe in his other hand. Head is placed on the table beside him....but even she is sporting a new look.....wearing a bowler hat and with an obviously fake moustache attached to her face.....

"......you see it now right.......here, look through the magnifying glass.......you see?......I told you didn't I........why? Well that's elementary my dear Head......he's obviously not as in tune with that dark side as Raven would have everyone believe.........I know, we did it again, Sherlock Snow and Doctor Head have cracked another case......I know it's our first case, it's just a figure of speech.......why do you have to pick fault with everything I do........can't you just be happy for once? We've got the goods, we've gathered the evidence......now we just need to make our case.......and I don't know who this "Jack" is that Raven is so keen to meet......me, I want to meet the "Dude"......"

Just then the door slams open, and the rest of the Flock walk into the room....Raven comes to a halt in front of Snow and stares blankly at him, before finally asking him what he is doing.....Snow says that he's solving a mystery and turns to reveal the pictures on the table.....but Mankind is in the process of tearing them up. Raven tells Al that this isn't the time for stupid games.....because after his failure last week, it's now down to Raven and Mankind to show the Hardy Boys what true monsters looks like......now take that stupid outfit off..... cause you're going to have a ringside view of the carnage.

VS.

The Hardys have got to be looking for revenge following the vicious beat down they received at the hands of the Flock last week......and they may be in for another taste this week.....because Raven and Mankind have bought the entire band of misfits down to the ring with them.....Bill DeMott, Daniels, the Dogs of War, Doink.....and a reluctant Al Snow bringing up the rear. Matt and Jeff obviously learned a lesson about being prepared last week however....because tonight, the have two very big, very angry Road Warriors by their side.

The Hardy's have improved tremendously in the last year....and they really do hold their own against the combination of Raven and Mankind.....and could possibly have picked up the win a number of times, had the Flock not interjected with the distraction on the outside.....(because even the Legion of Doom can't keep the five....well four really, Snow doesn't play a part....men occupied at the same time).....and it's during one of these distractions that the Hardy's lose the match.....because as Jeff comes flying off the top rope with a Swanton Bomb to Mankind, Raven places a steel chair across the chest of his team mate.....and Hardy hits hard, hurting both his opponent and himself. McMahon questions why Raven wouldn't just pull Mankind out of harms way, instead of causing him even more damage with the steel chair, but Lawler says that Raven is only interested in inflicting pain, not preventing it.....and he doesn't care who is on the receiving end.

Raven drags Hardy to his feel, who is clearly favouring his back....then instantly drops him with the Evenflow DDT....and three seconds later, with Mankind still feeling the effects of the Swanton Bomb.....the Flock had the victory.

Winner(s): Raven and Mankind

Raven shuffles back into the corner, where he remains in a seated position on the mat....as DeMott, Daniels, the Dogs of War and Doink all storm the ring, laying into the Hardy Boys. Mankind is in no condition to do anything after just having his chest crushed with a steel chair, while Snow....well, Snow makes no indication at all that he is going to help. The LoD are quickly in there to put a stop to that....dispersing of first Doink, then Daniels....before finally going head to head with Wrath and Crush, finally sending the two big men over the top rope, while Matt Hardy does away with DeMott. Seeing his men evicted to ringside, Raven calms rolls to the outside to join them, while Hawk gets a microphone......

".....WELLLLL.....IT SEEMS TO ME, LIKE THERES A LITTLE BIT OF A FEATHERED PEST PROBLEM HERE IN THE WWF......BECAUSE THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE TRUE BIRD OF PREY IN THE WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION.....AND YOU'RE LOOKING AT HIM......RAVEN.....THERE'S A PAY PER VIEW COMING UP CALLED THE SURVIVOR SERIES......AND THERES FOUR OF US.....AND PLENTY OF YOU TO CHOOSE FROM......SO PICK YOUR FOUR BEST MEN.....AND THE LEGION OF DOOM AND THE HARDY BOYS WILL CLIP YOUR WINGS ONCE AND FOR ALL......BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE CALLED THE SURVIVOR SERIES.....BUT WHEN WE'RE DONE WITH YOU.....YOU'RE GONNA WISH THAT YOU NEVER EVEN SURVIVED THE LONG TRIP DOWN YOUR MOTHERS BIRTH CANAL......UHHHHHH.....WHAT A RUSHHHHH!!!!....."

With the challenge levied, Raven simply smirks, then abruptly turns and heads to the back, leaving Al Snow to help Mankind make the walk up the aisle, with the rest of the Flock not far behind.

The Son's of Samoa and the Nation of Domination have developed quite the rivalry over the last few weeks and months.....the SoS believe that the NoD are simply out here week in and week out, complaining about conspiracies and discrimination.....when the reality of the fact is that they simply can't get the job done......the problem with that is that the Nation HAVE been getting it done more often than not against the Samoan's....because on a pure win/loss ratio, it's been the SoS coming out on the losing end against the Nation more often than not.

To be fair however, those Nation wins have all come off the back of the unfair numbers advantage that Faarooq and his men have....numbers that Faarooq WAS trying to expand, when he offered Rikishi, Kokina and Maivia a spot each in the Nation originally.....since being rejected however he has been less than complimentary.....and has repeatedly angered young Rocky, citing that his father.....the proud black athlete Rocky Johnson.....should be ashamed by the son he has raised.....while running down the Samoan heritage at the same time.

Can you guess what happened in this meeting between Rikishi and Faarooq? Of course you can.....because despite Rocky and Kokina being there at ringside, they were unable to counteract the man advantage of Kama, Nelson and Scorpio being at ringside too....Rikishi is a larger than average individual, and the commentators speculated on a number of occasions whether or not Faarooq would be able to get the Samoan's ample frame up for the Dominator......but in the end it was a moot point, because a decent match was tainted by the ending, when Kama was able to hit Big Kishi with a Big Booti.....and Faarooq rolled his opponent up from behind to secure the victory.

Winner: Faarooq

The Nation head up the aisle and head towards the back, while Maivia and Kokina climb into the ring to check on their partner. Faarooq and his group stop at the top of the ramp to turn and celebrate, rubbing the victory in the Son's of Samoa's face....which is when young Rocky grabs a microphone. He tells the Nation that they had better savour that victory....because for all these weeks they've been running around using their fourth man to pick up cheap wins......well the cheap tricks stop next week.....and the numbers advantage stops next week.......because next week, the SoS are bringing some back up with them......the fourth member of their Survivor Series team. Faarooq doesn't look to concerned however, shouting into a camera that by the time he's rowed his little ass over from the Islands, he'll be too tired to do anything other than lay down and get his ass kicked by the Nation....and it must run in the family.....because we've been kicking Samoan ass for months now....by any means necessary.

It's time to find out who Chris Jericho, Marc Mero and Bart Gunn have chosen for the fourth member of their Survivor Series team.....as he is about to step into the ring against a currently unknown opponent....Jericho, Mero and Bart come to the ring, where Lionheart does the introductions for his team......

.....and welcomes Chris Candido to their team.

Next out we have Billy Gunn, Mr. Perfect, Lance Storm and Jesse James.....Jesse James doesn't look to be at the top of his game however, as he's wearing a neck brace. Perfect is the talker for this team.....and says that while no one is particularly comfortable to be siding with this next gentleman....you can't argue his abilities.....

.....and you really can't....as out comes one of the most under appreciated men in the WWF, along with the beautiful Marlena......remember his name....Goldust.

VS.

Getting an athlete the calibre of Goldust is quite the coup for Billy Gunn and his team.....but then Jericho's team hasn't done too badly either....picking up the man who rid the World Wrestling Federation of the negative influence that was Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chris Candido. Candido has had one eye on the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship as of late.....but the Survivor Series isn't your average Pay Per View.....and with this being the only event of this calendar year without a single title on the line, a spot on one in one of the elimination matches was the only way that Candido was going to find himself on the card.

These two have yet to meet here in the WWF, so no one really knew what to expect.....what they got however was a decent match.....and even with the number of bodies at ringside, it was a relatively clean match....eventually however Goldust proved to be the better man on the night, managing to pick up the victory with the Curtain Call.

Winner: Goldust
Rating: B

With the match over we soon find the ring filled with bodies.....Jericho, Mero and Bart help Candido to his feet, while Billy, Storm and Goldust look on. Jericho picks up a microphone and tells the opposition that they may have picked up the win tonight....and Goldust is a hell of a pick (Jericho should know after all given their Summerslam spectacular)....but looking at Jesse James down there on the floor wearing a neck brace, they still appear to be one partner down. Billy Gunn takes a mic.....and try's his best to cut a promo, while at the same time trying to distance himself from his own partner Goldust, who is desperately trying to run his hands over Gunn's chest.....he tells Jericho not to worry......because while James might be out of commission...he's found a partner who knows all about making surprise Survivor Series returns.......the Perfect Partner if you will.......

..........just as Mr. Perfect slams a chair across the back of Chris Candido. The momentary distraction there is enough to give Billy, Goldust and Storm the jump....and they lay out their opposition.....Goldust assaulting Mero....Gunn laying out his brother....and Storm once again laying a beat down on Jericho....before all four men stand victorious in the ring......and we have our full Survivor Series team.....Billy Gunn, Lance Storm, Goldust......and in a surprising turn of events........Mr. Perfect

From there we go to some pre-recorded footage from James E Cornette and his Big Red Monster, Kane.....Cornette does the talking (obviously) and says that he's sorry that they can't be there live tonight....but the fact of the matter is, the only thing that's stopping his Weapon of Mass Destruction, Kane, from obliterating his brother the Undertaker....and destroying him before they even make it to their Survivor Series clash.....is Cornette......

"......you should be thanking me Deadman.....because I'm the only thing standing between you and total annihilation.....but it's getting harder to control the monster.....he needs to take out some frustration on somebody.....anybody......so next week.....just six days before he finally gets his hands on you Deadman.....Kane is coming to Raw.....and he wants a match with the best that the WWF has to offer.....he's sick of fighting nobodies like the Hardy Boys.....and he's already shown that the freaks of the world like Mankind hold no threat......he wants a challenge.....he wants the best.......he wants the best there is.....the best there was......and the best there ever will be.....he wants YOU Bret Hart......so if you've got the guts to take a break from brawling with the red necks and the clinically insane....Kane will see YOU.....next Monday night on Raw....."

VS.

It's time for somewhat of a clash of styles now......as the high flying attributes of Sean Waltman are set to face off against the more brawl based move set of Stone Cold Steve Austin. To be fair Austin is much more than just a brawler, and can turn his hand to most things.....but high flying is most certainly not his forte....which is why he spends the majority of the match grounding the cocky Waltman.

With Pillman in the back preparing for his upcoming WWF Championship bout with Shawn Michaels, Austin is out here alone.....while as per usual, Waltman has Justin Creidible at ringside.....and the KLiQ pair certainly aren't shy about bending the rules in Waltman's favour.....although that doesn't last for long.....because the King is up and out of his chair at the announce table in no time to put a stop to that.....and keeps Credible occupied on the outside just long enough for Austin to nail his opponent with the Stone Cold Stunner for the win.

Winner: Steve Austin
Rating: B+

VS.

It's main event time.....and the Heartbreak Kid's WWF Championship is definitely in danger here tonight.....because his opponent Brian Pillman is one of a very, very small list of people to hold a victory over Michaels this calendar year.....so small in fact, that Pillman is the only wrestler to hold a one on one victory over Michaels on Monday Night Raw....which is probably why Michaels comes to the ring with not only Sunny......but the WWF Tag Team Champions, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash too. Steve Austin has opted to remain at ringside, joining McMahon, King and Ross at the commentary table, where he spends the majority of the night running down not only the KLiQ, but his own Survivor Series team mates, Bret and Owen Hart.

Much like their previous match up, this was a very evenly fought contest.....and Pillman was often only one big move away from putting the Champion away on a number of occasions......but none more so than when he had Michaels set up for the Time Bomb, the Hangman's Neckbreaker that he has been utilising as a finishing move......

......which is when Sean Waltman and Justin Credible come running down the aisle......turning the officials attention away from the fact that Kevin Nash is heading into the ring.....where he nails a wide open Pillman with a Big Boot right to the jaw. Austin is up from the announce table like a shot and sends Scott Hall flying over the safety barricade, right into the crowd, before turning his attention on Nash.......

.......as Bret Hart and Owen Hart come running out from the back to deal with Waltman and Credible. Owen takes care of Justin Credible, but the former 123 Kid dives in to the ring to escape the chasing Hitman. Hart follows, but Waltman is quickly back on the floor after running across the canvas and diving through the ropes. The Hitman follows the same route, but he brushes past a still groggy Pillman on his way, who abruptly shoves Hart in the chest, telling him to get out of the ring. Bret shoves him back, after telling him that he's here to help.....unfortunately he shoves him right into a mouthful of Sweet Chin Music by the Champion.....who makes the cover for the one, two, three and retains his title.

Winner: and Still WWF Champion.......Shawn Michaels
Rating: A

Quote:

And it's almost a mirror image of last weeks closing segment......as the KLiQ retreat up the ramp as a unit, laughing amongst themselves at the sight of their Survivor Series opponents imploding in the middle of the ring.....Austin, Pillman and the Harts might be having trouble co-operating right now.....but if they can't work as a unit in just thirteen days time, then they can kiss goodbye at a shot at ANY title held by the KLiQ at ANY time.
