Tomohiro Ishii defeated Toru Yano in 6:03 when Yano was DQ'd for interference by Jado 72 B-

Bad Luck Fale defeated Jeff Cobb in 8:35 when Fale used the Bad Luck Fall 75 B-

After the match the two Bullet Club heavyweights shook hands and were joined by Yujiro Takahashi in the ring to too sweet.

SANADA defeated Hirooki Goto in 19:50 when SANADA used Skull End 95 A*

Naomichi Marufuji defeated Kazuchika Okada in 13:57 when Marufuji used a Super Shiranui 92 A

Tetsuya Naito & Kento Miyahara went to a 30 minute time limit draw 90 A
With the result, Kazuchika Okada wins Block A

Post-match Kento dragged his body over to the commentary table and spoke into Shinpei Nogami's mic saying that this war isn't over and whenever he eventually meets Naito for the third match he will come out on top.

Before intermission Yuji Nagata presented to the Sumo Hall crowd two new Young Lions that would be debuting during the Destruction Tour. Both men have been with the Bushiroad Club since 2012 and are highly successful amateur wrestlers. Nagata has been overseeing their progress over the past few years and they are the latest recruits following in the footsteps of Tomoyuki Oka & Katsuya Kitamura.

In an interview with Kevin Kelly for the NJPW website after the show, Juice talked about how he was disappointed with his performance in the G1 but made a promise to himself and the fans that he would rebound in the second half of 2018 and how he had his sights on a marquee match at Wrestle Kingdom.
