It's that time of the week again, and time for the number one programme, from the number one company, in ALL of professional wrestling.....it's time for Raw is War......and Raw most certainly was War last week as the show went of the air, with Shawn Michaels, Brian Pillman, Ric Flair and Arn Anderson running rough-shot over the red and black wearing Wolfpac contention of Scott Hall and Sean Waltman.....and it looks like the fierce foursome are pleased with their actions, because they're opening up the show tonight, and they look to be in a particularly good mood as they walk the aisle tonight.....

.....they climb into the ring with huge smiles on their faces (a sight that looks particularly unsettling on the maniacal Brian Pillman) and soak in the disapproving sounds from the crowd, before Ric Flair picks up a microphone to open up the evenings proceedings......he tells the crowd that instead of jeering, they should be down on their hands and knees kneeling at the feet of greatness.....

"......because make NO mistake.....what you see gathered before you this evening is the true definition of greatness......there are not four men walking the face of this earth that can do what we can do in this ring.....and there aren't four men walking the face of this earth that can do what we do in the bar......we live a life, that you people could only dream of, and it's time that everyone realised that there's nothing they can do about it....."

......happy to have said his piece, Flair fades into the background where he begins flirting with Sunny as only Ric Flair can, while the Corporate Cannon takes the microphone, telling everyone that.....

"......there's a little thing in this world, and it's called the Divine Order....everything in its place, and everything placed in its order of importance....Gods, Angels, Humans, Animals, Plants and Objects.....and the wrestling world is no different......what's stood before you right now, is the very top of the tier.....Shawn Michaels, Brian Pillman, Ric Flair and Arn Anderson....the wrestling GOD'S......(behind Brian, Ric takes Sunny by the hand and spins her around, giving the crowd a good look at the beautiful blonde)......this beautiful young creature right here, a shining beacon.....a wrestling Angel......and then there's everybody in the back......mere wrestling men.........of course then there's you people, but you don't matter.....you're the animals, the plants and the crap, the bottom of the bottom........"

.....obviously the crowd don't react too favourably to that, no one likes to be compared to a plant after all, not that Pillman cares what they think.....he continues by telling them to quieten down, they might be mere swamp life but they're not alone.....your Scott Steiner's....Steve Austin's.....Scott Halls, Sean Waltmans, Kevin Nash's.....they're all swamp life too, so they're in good company.....and while Scott Steiner and Steve Austin waste their time and energy pulverising one another, brawling like the animals that they are, Brian Pillman bides his time and waits.....because a God doesn't need to sully his hands until the time is right to do so......and the right time to do so, is in six days time at the King of the Ring.....Pillman says that the natural order has been unbalanced for too long around here, with the highest prize in the sport in the hands of an unworthy champion, it's time for greatness to ascend to the very top of the World Wrestling Federation once more......the crowd continue to voice their disapproval at this, and apparently that's ticking the Nature Boy off, because he takes back the microphone to let the crowd know that.....

".....it is what it is, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.....we are the very top of The Order, simply because we don't know now NOT to be......we don't know how NOT to be great, just like you people wouldn't know greatness if it jumped up and bit you in your fat asses.....don't like it? Don't blame us......that's just The Order of things......"

.....Ric passes the microphone over the the Heartbreak Kid, who rounds things up by saying....basically that there's nothing more for him to say....as Pillman so eloquently put it, the King of the Ring will see not only a new WWF Champion in the Corporate Cannon, but a new King in the Heartbreak Kid.....because lets face it, who's gonna stop him?.....

"......the Undertaker? I don't think so, beat him before and I'll beat him again.....Cactus Jack? Ditto......Kevin Nash? Big not so Sexy could barely walk the last time I saw him, there's no way he's hobbling out with the crown.....and as for Scott Hall......the Bad Guy is going to find out first hand tonight, what happens when you mess with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels...."

King of the Ring: 2nd Round Match

Tonight is a big night for the Nation of Domination, with Faarooq being the only member not involved in active competition....and there's no throwaway bouts involved, every match has important ramifications, with both Scorpio and The Rock putting their respective titles on the line, while both Kama and Nelson are looking to advance to the quarter finals of the King of the Ring tournament....

....and it's Nelson in action first tonight, as he rekindles his battles with the Undertaker that stretches back to 1995, where not only did the big man defeat the Deadman on route to becoming the King of the Ring that year, he was also able to put the Phenom on the self, literally breaking his face after crushing his orbital bone with a series of brutal leg drops...a fact that I'm sure the Undertaker hasn't forgotten.....

.....as for the Deadman, while he clearly has his eye on the King of the Ring prize...(not to mention the WWF Title opportunity at Summerslam that comes with it)....he also has his sights set on a former foe of the Nation, one Ahmed Johnson, a man who has already booked HIS place in the King of the Ring quarter finals last week with an impressive victory over Mr. Perfect.....

......as for THIS match, it was as you would expect....slow and plodding, but with enough high impact moves to keep the crowd invested. There's was a decent amount of back and forth action, and Nelson certainly looked like he had the match won on a number of occasions, but ultimately it was the Undertaker that took the match AND the quarter final shot, after rolling out of the way of one of those face crushing leg drops, and knocking Nelson out cold with a stiff Big Boot as Nelson was still in a seated position.

Winner: The Undertaker

From there Jim Ross sends us to pre recorded footage from what he tells us is small independent company, the American Wrestling Federation...(our child company, not that JR reveals that information)....where Ken Shamrock has been working tirelessly with both Matt and Jeff Hardy in an attempt to familiarise himself with competition inside a four sided ring as opposed to an eight sided cage.....

......here the trio can be seen basically running through some basic spots in an empty building, with each sequence ending the same way, and that's with either Matt or Jeff trapped in the ankle lock....

......at least until the doors swing open, and in walk the Million Dollar Man and his client, (who's "street clothes" consist of an extremely tacky although extremely expensive looking suit....which might have looked less tacky if he had put a shirt on underneath the jacket) Rich Steiner.....Steiner basically laughs at the three men in the ring, telling Shamrock that all the practicing in the world isn't going to prepare him for what happens when he steps foot inside a WWF ring.....ESPECIALLY if his training partners are these two scrubs here.....before telling him that if he really wants a good sparring bout, he should try getting in there with a man who's beaten both Matt and Jeff Hardy......a man like, oh I don't know.....Rich Steiner.....

.....obviously Shammy is quick to accept that, ushering the Hardy's to the outside before inviting the cocky sell-out in the ring. Steiner climbs through the ropes, taking off his jacket but keeping his ridiculously outdated medallion necklace on. The two men circle each other for a moment, before DiBiase offers Shamrock his first lesson in the wrestling business.....

"......in fact, it's two lessons in one, and two lessons that Rich Steiner is well versed in......the first being, always ensure you choose the best representation.....and there's none better than the Million Dollar Man......and the second......always make sure you choose the best allies......"

.......which is when the rest of the Million Dollar Corporation burst into the building, the distraction of which gives Steiner the opportunity to blindside Shamrock with a running Steinerline, just as Jarrett and Southern Justice pounce on the Hardy Boys.....and with the advantage firmly in the court of Ted DiBiase's boys, Jarrett joins Steiner in giving Shamrock a nice warm WWF welcome, while Southern Justice lay a beating on Matt and Jeff on the outside, before Steiner finally drills Shamrock into the mat with the Steiner Driver, as we go off to commercial.

It's time for a rare title match on free TV, as Scorpio puts the gold on the line against former Champion Rey Mysterio. Obviously space on Sunday nights Pay Per View is limited due to the one night tournament taking place, so we've got to get those mandatory 30 day title defences in somewhere right? (Kayfabe brother).....

.....before the bout starts we are treated to a guest commentator.....(well, I don't know if treated is the best word, as the man of 1000 holds isn't the most charismatic of chaps)....as newcomer to the WWF Dean Malenko takes a seat at the table, stating that he's out here to see who he's going to have to face to become the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion....but since he sees Rey Mysterio as the man to beat around here, he thinks the former champ will become a two time champ tonight.....

.....he could well be right too.....because Mysterio certainly seems fired up tonight....it's easy to forget however that Scorpio was the original face of the light heavyweight division, and the inaugural Champion......now 18 months later he's a two time winner and back at the top of the mountain, so he's not going down without a fight....and given his status within the Nation of Domination, you've got to believe he's not going to be against a little bit of help to retain his championship.....although the help he got, probably wasn't the help he was expecting.....

......because it wasn't the Nation that made their way down to ringside, but another former Light Heavyweight Champion, and the man who is apparently retired from light heavyweight competition, Chris Jericho.....

......Jericho goes right up to Malenko at the commentary table, telling him that it's not Junior he should be scouting.....it's the Ayatollah of RocknRolla......the Heavyweight of the Light Heavyweights......Chris Jericho.....Malenko isn't interested however, telling Jericho that he made it clear that he didn't think the Light Heavyweights were any challenge to him, so why doesn't he go to the back so that he can watch Mysterio regain the Championship.....

.....obviously Jericho's ego doesn't accept that....and he turns his attention to the match, where he causes enough of a distraction to Rey that Scorpio is able to roll out of the way of a Mysterio splash from the top......before connecting with a roundhouse leg drop, covering and hooking the tights for good measure to retain his Championship.

Winner: .....and Still WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.....Scorpio
Rating: B

Quote:

Jericho turns to taunt Malenko.....asking him what does he think of his "Champion" now....before sliding into the ring and decking Mysterio with a clothesline as the youngster is getting to his feet....he mounts the masked man and begins raining blows down on him, declaring himself the man to beat around here.....which is when Malenko dives into the ring behind him, dragging him off Mysterio and delivering a series of right hands of his own, before sending Jericho bailing to the outside with a high dropkick to the jaw.....

.....obviously that action gave Mysterio time to recover, and now he gets his revenge, as he climbs through the ropes to the apron, before hitting a beautiful springboard moonsault to a Jericho who has just struggled back to his feet.....he picks the cocky Canadian up and rolls him back into the ring, where Malenko is waiting with a Texas Cloverleaf attempt. Fortunately for Jericho he is able to wriggle free and bolt up the aisle, shouting to a camera that this proves his point....these little midget light heavyweights have to fight him two on one to have any chance of beating him, before bolting through the entrance and to the back, out of harms way as we go to commercial.

Rating: A (again......all Jericho)

After that brief word from our sponsors we head to the back, where a rarely seen Gorilla Monsoon is in between a Scott Steiner and Steve Austin "disagreement", that sees both men being held back by two teams of backstage personnel....Gorilla informs them that he has been tasked by Vince McMahon to inform them that he is sick to death of them constantly disrupting his shows.....and because of this, they are under strict instructions not to lay so much as one finger on each other tonight......because if they DO.....Mr. Austin will be removed from the Triple Threat match at the King of the Ring, while Scott Steiner will be walking into that event as the CHALLENGER......not the Champion.....because McMahon will personally strip him of the WWF title and award it to Brian Pillman......obviously neither man are particularly pleased by that fact, with Steiner telling Monsoon that......

"........IF THAT RAT BASTARD MCMAHON HAS SOMETHING TO SAY TO BIG POPPA PUMP, THEN WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE THE BALLS TO SAY IT TO MY FACE, INSTEAD OF SENDING HIS FAT ERRAND BOY......"

.....Monsoon tells both men that Mr. McMahon though it would be wiser for this message to be delivered by him, the President of the World Wrestling Federation.....

".....son, the only thing you're fit to be the president of, is the pie eating contest down the street......McMahon ain't here to deliver his little message, because he knows as well as you do, that I'd stomp a mud hole in his ass, just like I've been doing to this sack of crap for a month now.......Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't need to lay a damn thing on this muscled up moron tonight.....because in six days at the King of the Ring, I'm going to tear both him AND Brian Pillman a new ass, and walk out of that damn place as the brand new WWF Champion....and that's the bottom line......."

"......THE BOTTOM LINE? THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT AT THE KING OF THE RING, BIG POPPA PUMP IS GONNA SHOVE YOUR BALD HEAD STRAIGHT UP BRIAN PILLMAN'S SCRAWNY ASS, AND SEND YOU BOTH HOME CRYING TO YOUR MOMMA'S LIKE SOME GOD DAMN HUMAN CENTIPEDE....AND THEN.....I MIGHT JUST WIN THE KING OF THE RING TOO FOR THE HELL OF IT, BECAUSE ALL MY FREAKS KNOW THAT SCOTT STEINER IS THE KING OF THE RING....AND THE KING OF THE BEDROOM.....AND MY SCEPTRE IS DAMN SURE BIGGER THAN YOURS.....THATS THE BOTTOM LINE YOU WHITE TRASH BASTARD....."

.....the two continue to bicker, but don't actually come to blows, as each man eventually walks off, proclaiming that they don't need to touch each other tonight to prove who the better man is.....there's more than one way to show who the baddest man in the WWF actually is.

King of the Ring: 2nd Round Match

It's time to get back to the action.....and back to the King of the Ring tournament, as Psycho Sid faces off against Kama, in the Nation's third outing of the evening.....so far they are 1-1 where wins and losses are concerned, so Kama will be looking to extend those winning ways here....especially since with Nelson being eliminated earlier in the evening, this is the last chance the Nation have at capturing not only the King of the Ring title, but adding the WWF Title to their growing collection as well....of course, realistically, the chances of Kama becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion are pretty slim.....and they got even slimmer tonight, because Psycho Sid put the big man away with an impressive Powerbomb, booking himself a place in the quarter finals, and putting an end the Nation's dream of capturing the crown.

Winner: Psycho Sid
Rating: B

Quote:

Sid celebrates his victory, and the crowd are certainly happy to see Kama on the losing end, before the big man drops down to the floor where he begins to bump fists with some of the more rambunctious fans, working his way around the front row offering his fist to all.....and everyone accepts....except for one lone hooded fan, who stands stoically in front of the wrestler, offering him nothing......until he reaches up to remove the hood from his head......

....to reveal the master of the macabre himself, Raven.....Sid steps back, momentarily surprised....and instantly snaps his head back and forth, keeping an eye out for a sneak attack from the members of Raven's Flock......Raven himself simply smirks however, pulling a microphone out to tell Sid that......

"......heavy is the head that wears the crown....especially when that crown is weighed down with madness....how can one be expected to rule, when they themselves are ruled by their own paranoia.....but is it paranoia, when there are enemies at all doors.....a crown of thorns adorning a scared mind.....a throne of daggers at your back.....is it really paranoia? Or are they really out to get you? Quote the Raven......Nevermore......"

.....with that Raven starts cackling....before throwing his arms out, crucifix style, as Sid continues to stand wide eyed, scouring the crowd for any sign of an impending attack.....which is the unfortunate time that an overly enthusiastic member of the crowd decides to reach out and slap Sid on the back, offering his support.....unfortunately Sid doesn't hear the words, feeling only the hand on his back......as he turns around and slugs the poor fan right between the eyes.....and this isn't a big guy.....around 5'8", roughly 100lbs.....impressive mullet for 1997.....you couldn't ask for a more pathetic looking victim if you'd planted him there yourself (wink, wink)......

......Sid immediately realises his mistake and tries to apologise to the pint sized pipsqueak, but there's two problem, first being that security won't let him near the guy.....and the second being the guy wouldn't have heard it anyway, he's out cold.....

.....Raven continues to cackle as security motion to the back, where a pair of local law enforcement officers make their way down the aisle. Security explain the situation to the officers, who decide to caution AND cuff Big Sid, before carting him off to the back under threats of assault charges.....Sid attempts to explain the mistake, citing that he believed he was about to be assaulted HIMSELF, but it looks like he's going to have to explain that at the station, because for now, he's outta here.....

.....the camera goes back to where Raven was standing, but the leader of the Flock has disappeared into the crowd and is nowhere to be seen. Rude explains that Raven has gone to get ready for his match later this evening, while Jim Ross declares that Sid is slipping ever deeper into a pool of madness and paranoia....and not only did Raven push Sid into that pool to begin with, he's also removed all the buoyancy aids and is in the process of shoving Sid deeper into the depths of despair as the weeks and months go by

So far the Nation of Domination haven't had a great night.....sure Scorpio successfully defended the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship earlier in the evening, but both Kama and Nelson crashed out of the King of the Ring tournament in the same night.....and if the Rock should lose his European Title here then their night will get even worse....this is possibly the biggest opportunity of young Billy Kidman's career. He may be a former light heavyweight champion himself, but by taking the European title away from the Nation of Domination, not only would he gain a measure of revenge against the faction that cost him HIS title, but by defeating a competitor of the Rock's standings he would see his own stock rise considerably.....

....of course....that's easier said than done.....and not because of the threat of interference from the rest of the Nation, because surprisingly the Rock is going it alone tonight......no, it's easier said than done because the Rock is no longer the rookie that nobody has heard of....he's a bonafide star who's just getting better by the day.....not that Kidman didn't give it his all, this was a very open match with both men getting sustained periods of offence in.....eventually however The Rock simply proved too much for young Kidman to handle, and he found himself counting the lights after a Rock Bottom for the one, the two and the three.

Winner: .....and Still WWF European Champion.....The Rock
Rating: B

It's been a night of two halves for the Nation tonight....on the plus side they have managed to come out victorious in both of their championship matches, but at the same time they came up short in both King of the Ring matches......as Faarooq makes his way down the aisle with the rest of his Nation brothers to join the Rock in the ring however, he doesn't look particularly pleased....he grabs a microphone to congratulate the Rock and Scorpio on jobs well done, before berating the crowd for celebrating Kama and Nelson's defeats tonight.....while at the same time expressing his disappointment at Nelson and Kama's defeat......

".......but then, when these two proud black men are subjected to nothing but abuse and disrespect from you people, how were they supposed to concentrate on their matches to begin with.....you people make me sick.....you would rather cheer two white lunatics in the Undertaker and Psycho Sid than get behind two proud upstanding black citizens like Kama and Nelson.....you would rather cheer a man obsessed with death and a man who's so crazy that his voices hear voices, than offer your support to the Nation......well that's ok, because you can boo all you like, it doesn't take away from the fact that the Nation of Domination hold three of the five WWF titles in our black hands.....so boo that......"

.....and they do boo that.....and they boo even louder as the Nation line up in the middle of the ring, raising their fists in salute as we go to commercial.

King of the Ring: 2nd Round Match

It's back to the King of the Ring tournament now, as The British Bulldog and Raven face of, with both men looking to book their spots in Sunday nights quarter finals....of course, whether the King of the Ring crown is actually of any consequence to Raven is another matter, he hardly strikes as the kind of gentleman that cares much about the crown......the WWF Championship opportunity awaiting the King at Summerslam however might be a different matter, because while titles haven't factored into any of the leader of the Flocks plans thus far, you've got to believe that he has Gold planned somewhere in his future.....

.....this was actually a decent little match too, with each man's style perfectly complimenting the other....and while Raven may be attempting to change his style of Wrestling from pure brawler to more of an all round entertainer, he can still throw fists when the need rises....he can also be thrown around the ring with sufficient force by his opponent as to ensure that Davey looks particularly dangerous.....so dangerous in fact, that you would have to wonder exactly why.........

.....Bret and Owen chose this time to make their way out from the back.....in fact even Davey looks slightly perturbed as to what they are doing there.....the Tag Champs tell him not to worry however, they're just there to ensure that he doesn't get screwed by the Flock, before telling him to just concentrate on his match.....

......which he does, and true to their word Bret and Owen's presence DOES ensure that the Flock don't make a single appearance in this one.....they even have a hand in the finish of the match......well, Owen does......and not in the way you would think.....because with Davey firmly in control of the match, he goes to run the ropes.....just as Owen appears to use the ring apron as a resting point, "accidentally" clipping his brother in-laws ankle and sending the Bulldog stumbling forward......straight into the waiting arms and Evenflow DDT of Raven......who makes the cover and three seconds later moves one step closer to the 1997 King of the Ring crown.

Winner: Raven
Rating: B+

Quote:

Raven doesn't waste time with celebrations, he simply rolls out of the ring and heads straight to the back, while Bret and Owen climb into the ring with a look of mock concern on their face, with the Hitman slapping his brother on the arm, calling him a klutz.....Owen apologises to the Bulldog, claiming it was an accident......"but at least we're equal now I guess, you "accidentally" cost me my match last week, I "accidentally cost you your match tonight"......I don't think Davey heard much of the "apology" however, he's still down and out from the Evenflow......Bret and Owen look as though they are about to try and help the Bulldog to his feet, but they soon have other ideas........

.....because the New Age Outlaws have creeped down the aisle, and are currently sliding into the ring with a steel chair each in hand....Bret and Owen see the challengers coming though and quickly bolt from the ring, stating that they're happy to wait until Sunday night.....(a stark change in stance as Jim Ross points out, from the previous "any one, any where, any time" motto that the Harts used to live by)....and they start to make their way up the ramp before disappearing to the back......of course that leaves Davey Boy Smith all alone, with two Outlaws who are looking to make a point.....they look down at the Bulldog, then look at each other before shrugging their shoulders. Gunn tosses the his steel chair to the mat while Road Dogg drags the burly Brit to his feet.....before kicking him in the gut, leaving him doubled over and prone for the Famouser by Gunn, crashing his skull into the steel chair below....

.....Road Dogg pulls a nearby camera over, speaking directly to their In Your House opponents....telling Bret and Owen that "....if this is how you treat your friends, then I'm kinda worried about how you're gonna treat your enemies......" before pausing for a moment to look at his partner as they both break out in laughter ".....no I'm not, I'm only joking with you boys....we know we're gonna kick your ass, take your belts.....and send you back home to the not so great white north.....see you Sunday....."

.....before the cocky pair give Davey another kick, before heading to the back themselves, as we go to commercial.

King of the Ring: 2nd Round Match

Our final match for the evening is our final second round match of the King of the Ring tournament ahead of Sunday's event.....and its two former friends with a lot of bad blood to settle, as Scott Hall of the Wolfpac faces off against one time KLiQ running buddy.....the man, the myth.....the icon.....the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels....

....Shawn as always is accompanied by the beautiful Sunny, while Scott Hall has Sean Waltman in his corner.....and Shawn Michaels will be pleased to know (as Jim Ross informs us) that due to the current condition of his knee is not here tonight.....and not only is he not here tonight, it's a huge question mark as to whether he will even make it to the King of the Ring in just six days time.....

.....Shawn and Scott obviously know each other quite well in this ring by now, they've battled many, many times over the years and their matches never fail to disappoint....and neither does this one....even hampered by Scott Halls ongoing injury and declining physical abilities they still manage to pull off the match of the night, with the Bag Guy relishing in the fact that he has his former friend one on one in the ring, while Michaels sells his ass off for his former running mate.....and the crowd are eating it up too, especially with the Bag Guy firmly in control.......

........and they get even louder as these three men make their way down the aisle, letting Pillman, Flair and Anderson know exactly what they think of them.....and they get even more vocal when the Nature Boy and The Enforcer proceed to jump Sean Waltman on the outside bouncing him off the steel steps before Arn holds the outnumbered Wolfpac member in place as Flair tears his shirt off and proceeds to light his chest up with knife edge chops....

....obviously that causes the official to take his eye off the action in the ring....which is why he doesn't see Brian Pillman sliding under the bottom rope, nailing Hall with his Time Bomb Hangman's Neckbreaker before rolling Michaels on top of him and slithering out of the ring and back to the outside....the official turns around and sees the cover....and three seconds later our quarter finals are set.

Winner: Shawn Michaels
Rating: A

Quote:

There's nothing really to be gained here from a prolonged beating of Hall and Waltman.....especially since neither men are competition in Sunday's King of the Ring event....but then I guess the satisfaction of inflicting some pain on the friends that he believes turned their back on him is all the justification Shawn Michaels needs.....and so the four men continue their assault on the Bad Guy and the Kid.......

....::::!!!!SIRENS!!!!::::....

.....at least until the sirens blare, and Scott Steiner makes his way onto the entrance ramp.....steel pipe in hand......and he's not punched anyone in the face all evening.....obviously he's got some frustrations to work through........

....::::!!!!GLASS SHATTERS!!!!::::....

......but then so does this man.....as Stone Cold Steve Austin walks out before Steiner has even began to make his way down the aisle.....the two men come face to face, but both know that they can't lay a finger on each other......they trade insults for a minute, with each basically saying the same thing.....if they can't kick each other's ass, then they're going to kick someone's.....although this is clearly a case of each man wanting to one up the other, because Austin points at Scotty's lead pipe, telling him that ".....unlike you, I don't need no damn weapon to whoop ass around here....."

.....Scotty takes that as a challenge, and tosses the pipe to one side.....before the two rivals turn and each run towards the ring where they separate and begin to unleash their anger towards each other on Michaels, Pillman, Flair and Anderson......and they've got a lot of anger.....which is probably why they hold their own so well, fighting off all four men.....who soon become three when Austin lays Anderson out with a Stone Cold Stunner......

.....Hall and Waltman soon get back into the action, and the pair join in the fun as they begin to exchange blows with Michaels and Flair......leaving Pillman all alone in the middle of the ring.....Austin on one side.....Steiner on the other......and as Jim Ross points out, that is NOT a situation that you want to find yourself in......

.....Pillman tries to dive through the ropes to escape, but Scotty catches him by the back of his tights, dragging him back into the ring (and exposing most of his ass in the process).....from there, it's a case of "can you top this", as Stone Cold and Big Poppa Pump proceed to beat the holy hell out of the Corporate Cannon, hurling insults at each other as they do so.....before Anderson finally regains his senses and manages to drag a battered Brian Pillman from the ring, just as Flair and Michaels escape the clutches of the Wolfpac, and all four men retreat up the aisleway, leaving the show to come to a close with Austin and Steiner face to face in the ring.....we'll see you Sunday folks
