Matches to make following UFC on FX 2.
by Chris Estrada.

With UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann done, itís time to look at matches to make after the event.

Thiago Alves vs. Diego Sanchez- Should Sanchez decide to stay in the welterweight division, a good fight for him, and the fans, is against Thiago Alves. Since fighting GSP, Alves has been unable to do much in the UFC, however he could try and prove all the haters with a victory over Sanchez and help him get back into the title picture for the UFC welterweight division.

Martin Kampmann vs. Brian Ebersole- Martin Kampmann has been a little disappointing in his last few fights, so a fight with rising star, Brian Ebersole, may help him get back on track or may help Ebersole reach the next level in the UFC.

Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson- Both Benavidez and Johnson won their flyweight tournament fight, so it would be a no brainier to put this fight together & both fighters would bring fireworks, making this fight a top contender for fight of the year, even though it has yet to happen.

Ian McCall vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani- The losers of the flyweight tournament semi-finals should face off, as it is the best option, and the one that makes the best opportunity for these two high-level fighters.

Court McGee vs. Aaron Simpson- McGee is slowly climbing up the middleweight ladder and a fight with Aaron Simpson is the best fight for both fighters, standings and style wise, as they both have a strong wrestling style with a

Constantinos Philippou vs. Buddy Roberts- A bout between Buddy Roberts and Constantinos Philippou would be a good match up for both fighters and the fans, as both of them love to strike and are currently on their way out of the promotion, should they lose their next fight. This fight would help Dana White do his job easier as he will just have to fire the loser.

Aaron Rosa vs. Loser of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira/Alexander Gustafsson- Aaron Rosa is making short strides up the Light Heavyweight ladder, and could get bumped up into the contender status if he were to beat the loser of the Lilí Nog and Gustafsson fight.

James Te Huna vs. Tom Blackledge- James Te Huna is 2-2 in the UFC and Blackedge is 0-1, so a fight between these two could choose who stays in the UFC and who is given the pink slip.
