Matches to make following UFC on Fuel TV 2.

With UFC on Fuel TV 2: Gustafsson vs. Nogueira done, it’s time to look at matches to make after the event.
Diego Nunes vs. the winner of Mark Hominick/Eddie Yagin- Going 2-2 in the UFC & 6-3 under the ZUFFA banner, Nunes has gone the distance in all of his fights with ZUFFA. Nunes could use a spark to help him reach his potential and a fight against the winner of Hominick and Yagin could do that. Hominick loves to stand and strike with his opponent, something Nnunes likes to do also. As for a bout with Nunes and Yagin, should Yagin beat Hominick, could tell which fighter is willing to continue fighting in the UFC and who isn’t.
Dennis Siver vs. Nam Phan- These two fighters have arguably the best body shots in the division, behind Mark Hominick, so why not pit these two fighters together to see who hits harder. This fight would also be not bad for the fans and ranking as both fighters are coming off a victory and love to strike.
Paulo Thiago vs. the winner of Rory McDonald/Che Mils- Paulo Thiago has been a hot and cold fighter, hot when he beat Josh Koscheck, cold when he faced Diego Sanchez. A good test for him, and his opponents would be a fight with him and the winner of Rory McDonald and Che Mils, as those two fighters are rising contenders and could take a new step in the welterweight division, should they face Thiago, and it would help Thiago see how good of a fighter he is against these contenders.
Alessio Sakara vs. Francis Carmont- Alessio Sakara, is and will be a gatekeeper in the middleweight division, used to see if a contender is as good as people say he is, and a good opponent for Sakara in his gate keeping role, is Carmont who won his second UFC fight tonight.
Brian Stann vs. Michael Bisping- Chael Sonnen’s last two victims love to stand and bang with their opponent, so why not put the two together in a fight and make fireworks. Stann lost to Sonnen via Triangle Choke, meanwhile Bisping lost to Sonnen via a close unanimous decision, so why not have these two strikers face off against each other?
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Thiago Silva- With a victory over Lil’ Nog, Gustafsson made himself a credible contender, so why not give him a bout with a top level fighter Thiago Silva, who is coming off a suspension for failing a drug test.
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Anthony Perosh- Lil’ Nog has been unsuccessful in his UFC career going, 3-3, and is looking like he could be a gatekeeper, so why not match him up with Anthony Perosh, who has gone 3-0 since dropping down to light heavyweight, with all of those victories coming via submission.
