Installing Mods

Here is a quick guide to installing user-made WMMA2 mods from this forum.

1 - Download the mod of your choice. It will be in ZIP format - unzip it to your Desktop.

2 - Open WMMA2 and go into the editor. Select Create Database. For the purposes of this example, we'll use the database name Test.

3 - Close WMMA2.

4 - Go into your WMMA2 folder (normally in Program Files \ GDS \ WMMA2) and enter the Data folder. Inside you will find a folder called Test (or whatever name you chose in step 2), enter it. You will find a bunch of files ending in ".mm2", starting with "area.mm2" and ending with "user.mm2".

5 - Open the folder that you created on your desktop in step 1. You will find a bunch of files ending in ".mm2", starting with "area.mm2" and ending with "user.mm2". Select them all and select Copy.

6 - Paste the files from step 5 over the ones you found in step 4, choosing to Replace All when asked.

7 - Open WMMA2. Select Change Database from the menu bar at the top. Select Test (or whatever name you chose). You should now have a working database.
