Terror Rising sounds more like Nogueira, but man of 1,000 Tapouts may be any of the top ADCC competitors.

I'd say that "man of the 100 tap outs" could be Aoki or Shaolin, "natural all-round fighter" is Couture, "So I faced an Axe Murderer" is obviously Wanderlei but the characteristic holds true for almost all Chute Boxe fighters. "Terror rising" although the name implies Serra the no KO power part tells me it's more like Nogueira.

There appear to be two Dan Henderson templates and I'm really lost on "the beast is free" part. I thought Coleman (but he has no cardio), Randleman (but can't defend subs), Lindland or Barnett (but the "lack of mobility" is lost on me).

Anyway it's a great thing those templates are in because they provide a parallell between the real world and WMMA skill levels.

And yes Hughes isn't with MFS anymore, he started his own gym in Alton, Il that he is using to train for his fight with Serra.

It's a pun on the name Method Man.

I don't really see why people would think Method(ical) Man refers to Tim Sylvia, the description sounds nothing like him - he's wins the majority of his fights without it going to the judges, and I don't know anybody who'd describe him as being an all-rounder, he's a stand-up striker.

I disagree, lately he puts many fights in the judges hands, and he is not too bad on the ground.

Anyway, if thats not Sylvia's set then what is?

The reason I thought it might be Tim is because after beating AA for the second time Timmy did switch to more of a jab jab decision style. He only has one stoppage in his last five fights. Timmy also showed good ground skills against Jeff Monson, he might be primarily a stand-up striker but he is good enough to at least survive on the ground. Of course, I wasn't 100% sure if it was him or not.

The closest I could think of for the Beast is Free is Dan Severn. He's strong, a great grappler, not to mobile and has great cardio but I don't remember him having heavy hands. That was the one I had the hardest time trying to figure out.

I didn't say he had zero ground skills, I said that I don't know many people who would describe him as an all-rounder - which is what the description in the game says. The point is that if a style specifically refers to a person being an all-rounder, I can't believe that Tim Sylvia would be the name that comes to mind.

I agree but the problem with Dan Severn would be that all the descriptions fit modern fighters (well, maybe except Goodridge). And while Severn still fights he's over 50 and really is a fighter from the old days of MMA.

And a fantastic one at that.
I was disappointed by the absence of an "Ol' Dirty Brawler."
