Default Raw 2/16/2009 **SPOILER**

So what did everyone think of this week's Raw?

I thought it was a pretty good show. Fairly predictable but I like where it is going. If you have watched wrestling atleast once in the last 10 years you knew HHH was going to come down but it's pretty cool. They are setting up a different style of match for the same ol match up we have had a dozen times over.

I am curious to see how this Jericho thing ends up. I seriously dont think it will be Flair, but I don't know who else it could be. I mean the internet seems to think Austin but would he wrestle at his own Hall of Fame weekend? The best choice for broken down old has been would of been Mick Foley if he wasnt wasting away in TNA. Other then Austin or Hulk Hogan who is really going to give us the pay off match this angle deserves. I can't think of anyone.

I am pretty sure win, lose or draw HHH is coming back to RAW and Cena is going to smackdown after the draft. HHH did his time, and I think he is ready for it to be over.

JBL vs HBK is interesting...I am leaning towards 3 way. 3 texans at WM.

Only read the reports but sounds like a good show. I really hope Flair doesn't make a comeback to face Jericho, would be pointless and make last years epic match with HBK a complete waste of time. He ended his WWE run on a high note, keep it that way. Jericho vs Austin? I'd be well happy with that but really doubt Austin will get back in the ring. Jericho vs Hogan? I doubt that will happen. Honestly, I've no idea where this is going. What's the deal with Rourke? Is he definitely out of WM25?

I like the way the title situation is going. I hope Cena ends up back on SD! 'cos I'm sick of him on RAW. Don't get me wrong, I like him but I think he needs a new playground. Triple H has helped SD! out a lot since he was drafted but I think it's time for him to go back to RAW.

As for JBL/HBK, I hope we don't get a three-way at 'Mania. I want it to be 'Taker vs HBK, two of the genuine all time greats still in the WWE. I really want/wanted Kane to be involved in someway but I don't see that happening, he just seems to be getting lost in the shuffle. They dropped the ball with him last year. The Mysterio thing had tons of potential and should've seen the return of the monster for one last run but I suspect all this PG13 stuff screwed that up.

Very well done altough predictable but predictable isnīt bad imho as long as its well done. It probably wonīt happen but for one pay day it could. Who is both a hollywood star and a wrestler? If ya smell what I am cooking? We know Jericho will face someone and I also hope Taker vs HBK stays one on one.

This leaves lost in the shuffle: JBL, Kane, Mysterio, Big Show.

Mysterio could end up in the MITB and well maybe JBL will be confronted by Kane after loosing the spot for Taker.

Hogan is definitly out if ya believe what Bischoff has said in the Sun. Terry Funk could do or maybe Jake The Snake as they both still wrestle. Jericho could carry either of em to a decent match but it wonīt really have the luster of say Rourke, Flair, Rock, Austin, Hogan. They are prolly backup if none of those pan out. Hell Goldberg could maybe do a one off.

I expect Show vs Kozlov or something along those lines, nice filler match like Batista vs Umaga last time. With JBL and Kane going after the MITB to get the heat down again.
Maybe see Colons vs Miz and Morrison if they are not in MITB. MVP vs Benjamin will prolly go to MITB as will Punk as him vs Regal has played its course imho. And Regal isnīt MITB material.

So as it looks now:

HHH vs Orton
Cena vs Edge
HBK vs Taker
Hardy vs Hardy
???? vs Jericho
Show vs Khozlov (vs Umaga) monsters collide kinda thing.
Christian vs Swagger
Kane vs JBL
MITB : Mysterio, Kofi, MVP, Benjamin, Punk, Morrison, Miz, Primo, Carlito, Kennedy/Bourne.

Thatīs a nice show imho and features almost everyone of note. The rest can go in the dark match royal rumble. Legacy of course will interfere in the main event.

Trips will prolly go back to RAW and Cena to Smackdown in the draft.

I swear to god, after that match last night, they have a chance to make the whole Knox/Mysterio thing into the greatest angle in wrestling. Picture this, if you will...

Backstage. Hallway. Rey is stretching before a match, when Knox walks up to him, looms over him. "Last week... I battered you, bruised you, broke you... and you just kept right on going, didn't you? The way I see it... there's really just one thing left to do."

Rey raises his fists, ready to defend himself, when Knox... drops to one knee, hands folded together, begging. "Teach me?"

C'mon... Mike Knox, World's Largest Luchadore In Training would be -gold-. Especially if he can startp ulling off some of the moves. Kane shows up to argue for Knox going back to his old 'big man moveset' ways and just attacking people for no good reason, and we get that classic struggle between good and evil that wrestling fans love...

Loving the whole Orton storyline. It was obvious Triple H was going to come out but that doesn't make it any less cool. The Jericho thing has me intrigued too, since right now there's no telling who he'll fight at Wrestlemania.

I know it's going to be HBK, but I'd rather see JBL face Undertaker...it should only be HBK if he's going to end the streak, and I don't think the streak's going to end yet. I'd like to see HBK win the MITB match and have one last title run.

Infinity's Mike Knox idea MUST be done.

In my opinion, the Infinity idea has been going on for a while now. Mysterio is "Making" Mike Knox into a credible monster (I know, not exactly the same thing, but I mean litterally). After those two are done, Knox will bassically be able to give anyone trouble they want him too, and he does look menacing and tough out there (especially against Mysterio).

He's improving at quite a bit of different things, and with the beard and all, he has lost that goofiness he had when he first popped up on ECW.

They won't take me. I'm a fan of the product.

... also, no former TV experience. Writing a screenplay that won a campus-wide award in college doesn't count.
