*Yes I realize that the AWA is really back and running shows again. However I have adapted my own version of it. Enjoy*
January 2006. Steve Corino and Dale Gagne enjoy a cup of cofee with the man that will soon be put in charge of the AWA. His name is Josh Montgomery. Josh was originally a assistant booker for NWATNA but left after a heated debate with Jeff Jarrett nearly blackballing him from the industry. Josh had known Corino from when he had tried to get Corino on in NWATNA to do an AWA vs. NWA Revival fued. This never happened. Corino heard about Josh and so him, Dale and Steve had a long conversation about what needed to be done. The AWA has been reviving itself since 2002 or so but Josh said the way its being done is not the way it should be. The way he sees it is the main AWA Show should be held in Minnesota and they should tour the northern part of the country until it gets popular enough to go down south. He hopes that the fans will remember the old AWA Style and want to pick up on the new AWA. Unfortunately the new AWA would have to deal with something that no other indy fed has to. The Jarretts have told all NWATNA workers to not work for AWA if they value there job. Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong were released by TNA for speaking out against the AWA Clause Roster thus far: AWA World Heavyweight Champion: Steve Corino AWA Lightwieght Champion: AWA Tag Team Champions: First Show is: Sunday Thursday: AWA Wrestling is proud to announce the signing of the following workers: Topgun Talwar Sedrick Strong Scorpio Sky Scott Lost Tony Kozina Sal Rinauro Black Dragon Mark Jindrack Trent Acid Sean O'Harie Scott Steiner The Mystery Man Puerta Rican Standout Anarchy Vordell Walker Chris Bosh Roderick Strong Danny Daniels Aaron Aguilera First Show Preview: Steve Corino, Danny Daniels and Trent Acid vs. Roderick Strong, Mark Jindrack and Scott Steiner Aaron Aguilera vs. Slyk Wagner Brown Anarchy vs. Tony Kozina Black Dragon vs. Sal Rinuaro vs. Scorpio Sky vs. Trent Acid Scott Lost and Chris Bosh against Biohazard and Topgun Talwar The Mystery Man will appear and explain his actions! Thats all I have so far who do you think the mystery man is? I bet none of you have any clue. |

AWAwrestling.com has learned that AWA Matchmaker has made a Best of Seven Series between AWA's Trent Acid and Jack Evans for the Lightweight Title.
A prematch of this best of Seven Series is this week on the AWA Resurgance Show. The Amazing Red has signed an AWA Contract. AWA Resurgance Sunday Week 3 2006 January Jack Evans vs. Trent Acid Evans and Acid really set the tone for this event in which AWA intends to deliver. Rating: C- Time: 2 Minutes Lesnar and Steiner challenge each other to a match backstage Rating: A Time: 3 Minutes Steve Corino says he is taking the request for his match against his number 1 contender. THE AMAZING RED (Joke Segment) Rating: C+ Time: 3 Minutes Corino vs. Red Another great match on this show and if everything can live up to this shows hype AWA will have an explosion in this area. Corino wins with an Old School Expulsion in a good match Rating: B- Time: 25 Minutes Mark Jindrack cuts a promo about Corino and the AWA Title Rating: B- Time: 2 Minutes The Briscoes vs. The Logans vs. The Maximos vs. Topgun Hazard (Tag Team Title Match) A really great match that left the fans breathless. I really like this....It's like your just taking the name AWA and starting from scratch...You have a nice mix of independent stars, guys you got from TNA and ex WWE guys...Giving you a nice starting roster
Just curious what your overness is, in certain regions and what kind of attendance numbers your drawing |
