Who do you think was the one who directed the kills on Ranson, dww, eayragt, and Destiny? That was all me! And I helped set-up michgcs (which I am sorry for) and Michiganhero. To quote Destiny, "I rocked this game!" And this is meant to be read in a joking manner. While I did do all that, Jman and Prophet did play great games as well. Man I wish I would have kept Prague around!!!!

Oh before I forget, great game IER and Rev. This role was great! I finally got to be somewhat of a Serial Killer, which was the one role I always wanted to have.

True - but I actually think this favoured scum. Jman giving Destiny the ability to find true scum was what made me blind to the fact he could be scum. There was evidence against him, but we were just happy it was Jman just being Jman, and this one fact made him a townie.

BHK's "kills" were vital, but it wasn't only that. He ended up controlling the direction that the day phases took and was the reason for townies getting mislynched or mis-vigged. Without those scum would have faced more questions during the day - SF could have got lynched sooner, and then questions would have probably piled up against Prophet and BHK (who's claims looked the weakest).

Question - to meta or not to meta? I have it in my head that it's bad form to, and try not to bring it up in the thread (or though I'll quite happily check out people's activities as there's not much point me questioning someone who's not around). I didn't bring it up when we were trying to lynch MichiganHero having spotted that he hadn't been on for five days (which made me "protecting" him as I thought his investigations would prove more useful than Destiny's protection with a possible Cult around useless as he wasn't getting results). Given that he got caught targetting someone in that time, I thought the only way he could target someone while being AWOL was if he had a compulsory kill, or a don who could order him to do a kill (turns out it was neither, but hey...), but never brought it up. When he then got vigged (on the same night I died) after initially thinking it made gonvick a liar I then thought perhaps he had been forced to use Jman's invention. Although all of my conclusions were wrong, perhaps if I had brought it up there would have been different questioning going up when he came up town to try and work out how he ended up targetting someone while not around to send in an ability. Maybe someone would have even stumbled upon the correct answer (althought that wouldn't have been me), but would it have been bad form to bring it up?

OK, first of all my thoughts on the game.

I thought it went fairly well and I hope no one thinks it was unfair or unbalanced.

I really think the key to the game was BHK. N3 I got the PM for an investigation on Cbot. I figured at this point the game was all but over. Thankfully though he attempted to recruit BHK and that may have kept the game competitive. Had it not been for that I think the town would have run through the the scum.

For me, the game was interesting coming down the stretch. N10 specifically was interesting. Had BHK gone after Jman instead of prague, the game was all but over as Proph would have had to wait for a kill.

Still plan on doing an epilogue, maybe later today or so.

I'm also going to post my awards for the game. Rev can also post his if he would like. Additionally, if any of you would like to vote for awards, just use my categories and send them to Rev and myself via pm and we'll tally them up.

Best Role: I enjoyed the SK/Brotherhood role. It was pretty much a modified version of the Sith role from SWM3, which I thought missed out on making an impact in that game.

BIP Ė Town: eayragt hands down. He had pretty much nailed the scum by a few phases in.

BIP - Scum Groups (mafia and cult): Jman for sure. Giving items to gonvick pretty much kept him off the gallows.

BIP - Third Party (mason and indie): Going to call BHK indie since it wasn't really a cult and just a modified SK. It was really great play for him and he pretty much dictated how the game went from the moment he got his kill.

BIP - Losing Effort: Has to be BHK.

Best Discussion: Going to say eayragt again. He made himself a town leader from early in the game and kept it up until he died. I also considered gonvick for this, and perhaps had he started the game and not had to come in mid game he could have.

Best Scum Catcher: eayragt

Most Dramatic Moment: For me, N10. Most people might prefer the final night and that is understandable. As a mod, however, N10 was interesting. As I mentioned earlier, the game could have easily flipped depending on who killed who.

Tha Black Phenom
Quote:
You are Retald Cughina, Dayordra Aligned Nosy Garbage Man.

Gender: Male

Youíve lived a fairly uneventful life thus far. You were born into poverty and without sufficient funds, unable to obtain a traditional education. This isnít to say you are dumb. In fact, you are rather intelligent. Taking up the job of a garbage collector has provided certain benefits to you. Some people think rummaging through trash is disgusting, you see it as a learning experience. Youíve found so many interesting things and read many interesting holos. Because of your affinity for investigating your findings, youíve managed to become rather skilled.

Each night you may elect to search trash for objects that may help you out. If you find something you may either use it or store it. If you store you may continue to search trash. If you use it, however, you must wait until the following night to look through the trash.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
Pretty much a JOAT who had to burn a night to get items.

Quote:
You are Droswad Clugh, Dayordra Aligned Security For Hire.

Gender: Male

Youíve helped protect some of the most prolific people in Dayordra, which is why you are one of the best and highest paid bodyguards around. The only thing that could possibly surpass your skill is your patriotism. With things in chaos youíve decided to offer your services for free.

Each night you may select one player and work as their bodyguard for the night. Due to your reputation, the player your select will not be able to be targeted by anyone else on that night.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
A protector who was a mild nuisance to other townies as well.

Quote:
You are Keldyn Mudn, Dayordra Aligned Expert Hacker.

Gender: Female

The government has been after you for years but has never been close to capturing you. It isnít their fault really; after all you are the one who keeps changing their information. You are by far the best hacker in Dayordra, hell maybe the best hacker period. You can infiltrate any computer system you want and get any information you want, even the stuff so deep down that even the government doesnít know it exists.

Each night you may hack into a system to check up on a player. Youíll dig deep enough to find out whether or not you think they are a threat to Dayordra.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
An investigator who didn't physically target anyone. I thought about making this role a miller as well just because I thought it would be interesting to have both investigators also being millers.

Quote:
You are Tash Strychkgar, Dayordra Aligned Seeker of Employment.

Gender: Male

You fell on hard times a few months ago, losing your job because of your addiction to mirizack. It is hard enough to have the addiction when employed, let alone trying to get your hands on it when youíre flat broke. So you sit and wait for an opportunity for employment.

If certain professions within Dayordra somehow become vacant you will be informed of the job posting. You may take the job if you want, or wait for another. As long as a job is on the board you can take it, however one you take a job you wonít be able to switch.

Because of your addiction you will have only a 50% chance of success or reliability.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated and you have taken a job.
Quote:
You are now Tash Strychkgar, Dayordra Aligned Drug Addled Mirizack Dealer.

When you couldn't get in touch with your dealer you knew something was up. Sure enough, he was dead.

Fortunately for you, people still need their fix and you have a working knowledge of the business. That is why you've decided to take over for him.

On all even nights you will go out of town to resupply and thus will be untargetable. However, sometimes your addiction gets the best of you so you only have a 50% chance of actually leaving town.
Could have taken over several different jobs, but there just weren't a lot of townies dying early in the game.

Destiny
Quote:
You are Futhim Lol, Dayordra Aligned Medical Expert.

Gender: Female

Your facility in Dayordra is highly regarded as the best medical chambers around. Your low costs and extensive equipment means that just about anyone can get medical attention if needed. It has never been about the money to you as helping others is the only true reward. That is why you are offering your services for free during this chaotic time.

Each night you may select one player to try and keep alive. If the person is attacked youíll take them back to your chamber and try to revive them.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.

Just a basic doctor really.

Dragonmack
Quote:
You are Rhahmund Lontund, Dayordra Aligned Prankster.

Gender: Female

Ever since you were a child you loved to play tricks on people. You didnít care whether the person involved enjoyed them or not as long as you got a laugh out of it. Some may think that your skill set isnít of much use right now, but you disagree.

Each night you may select a target to play a prank on. Your pranks are so good that whoever you target will not be able to do anything at night.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
Your basic townie roleblocker.

Quote:
You are Vas Slotnard, Dayordra Aligned Keeper of the Dead.

Gender: Female

Your responsibility is pretty simple; collect the dead and prep them for examination. Most people may not enjoy such a job, they may even find it mundane. Not you though. To you every corpse is like a new book. You like to give a look over and make an analysis. What you want is to figure out the story, who the person was, what they did, why they did it.

Each night you will wait for a person to die. Once dead you will collect them and take them back to your prepping station. At the beginning of the day phase you will be given information on each corpse. Because of your duties you will always be seen targeting the deceased player(s).

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
I'll be honest, I don't really know how he thought he was a FI. I said he would get information and that is all he got

Quote:
You are Mickll Smapmor, Dayordra Aligned Cherished Elder.

Gender: Male

You are old, very old. You were the first successful test subject in the early stages of Noble creation. You yourself are no Noble, but that doesnít mean you arenít important to Dayordra. You stand as the pillar of progress and an example of what it took to make Dayordra so great. The imperfect science of altering DNA at the time you were gifted with a very low aging rate, and while youíve lost count you know you are well over several hundred years old.

This doesnít mean you are spry by any means and the last 50 years or so have been quite painful for you. You see this chaos as a potential release, finally allowing you to rest in peace. Your conundrum is that with your death you know that all of Dayordra will be shut down. Decisions, decisions.

You win as long as you donít finish the game alive.
As should be expected of me by now, a role that puts a player in a unique situation. Fulfill their win condition and hurt the town, or guarantee a loss but help the greater good.

Quote:
You are Huss Saphz, Dayordra Aligned Lady of the Night.

Gender: Female

Everyone has a vice and sometimes it takes certain skills to facilitate certain vices. That is where you come into play. You walk the streets looking for someone who is willing to pay for your services. Unfortunately there arenít many people wandering about late at night looking to fulfill their desires right now, theyíre too scared. It has allowed you to invest more time in a hobby of yours; people watching.

The night is full of interesting characters and you like to watch what they do, see who they speak with, or who speaks with them. The good thing is that no one really pays any attention to you when they arenít looking to be serviced, so you go mostly unnoticed.

Each night you may select a player to check out. You will find out who, if anyone, they targeted and who, if anyone, targets them.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
What has become one of my favorite roles, the watcher/tracker combo. Instead of splitting up the ability and giving it to 2 players, I much prefer one person to have it.

You are Syks Trychn, Dayordra Aligned Mirizack Dealer.

Gender: Male

Lets cut to the chase, youíre a sleezeball. You get people hooked on mirizack and then proceed to take their money for as long as you can. Youíve made quite the living for yourself, enough that you can pay off officials and keep your name out of the records.

Your particular skillset isnít really something that can help out during these times, but your luck certainly does. You have to keep a fresh supply of mirizack to deal to your customers and this means you have to fly off planet to get it.

Every other night you will leave the planet making your completely untargetable. This will start on Night 2, meaning that on even nights you will not be targeted.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.

Basic commuter. Decided to go with it instead of a hider.

You are Jett Cheldr, Dayordra Aligned Shunned Legacy.

Gender: Male

You would have never hurt your father, not in a million years. Now because of the assassination you arenít allowed to assume your position as the new Premier. You want nothing more than to bring those responsible in for justice and prove that you are fit to rule Dayordra.

As the son of the Premier youíve been able to discuss all things government related to those in the know, specifically the investigators. While you are far from a specialist, you did pick up a few tricks.

Each night you may select a target for investigation. Youíll spend the entire evening checking out the player. Unfortunately, because of your lack of experience it will take you some time to evaluate your information. This means that you can investigate someone on Night 1 but wonít get the result until Day 3. Investigations on N2 will not come through until D4 and so on. You may investigate every night, but youíll have to wait one day for results.

Unfortunately, because of the suspicion on you, you will come up a threat if investigated.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.

I can't remember if I came up with this role or saw it on mafiascum, but I've had it in the works for a while now. I had it dubbed "Private Investigator". I thought it worked out pretty well and it something I may use again.

Quote:
You are Richlough Thurtlye, Dayordra Aligned Menace.

Gender: Female

You are by far the most clever criminal to ever step foot on Dayordra. Youíre always one step ahead of both the government and the Noble; it is quite impressive really. Youíve managed to steal an entire armory a whole month before anyone realized it was gone. Every time you are close to being caught youíve managed to set someone else up for the crime.

Your talents can actually be of assistance here. Each night you may select a target to steal from. You will either steal an item that will give you an ability, or you will steal information from them. If you receive an ability you must use it before stealing another.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
Variation of a thief. Sometimes the thief just can't steal something from someone so I decided to add the option of stealing information from them too. If they couldn't steal an item, they could get information on the player like a PC geek.

You are crazy, certifiably insane even; but you are also a patriot. On several occasions youíve been know to use ďany means necessaryĒ to help Dayordra against those who threaten itís freedoms. Needless to say youíve served a little time, but always get pardoned because of your reasoning. The Premier is a sucker for patriots.

Youíll be damned if you let anyone destroy your beloved Dayordra and will put your life on the line to ensure it survives. You have a one shot ability that can be used at any point in the game, day or night time. Your ability is to select one player who you will kill by detonating the explosives you have attached to you. You can do this by pming the mods.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated and you have died for Dayordra.

Pro town suicide bomber.

Quote:
You are Llur Digth, Brotherhood Aligned Father.

Gender: Male

You worked for the government of Dayordra for years as one of the lead scientists. You helped create many of the Noble seen today and laid the ground work for advances in the powers Nobles could receive. However, the current set up of the Noble seemed archaic to you.

You felt the Noble could be so much more. Increased stability, power, size, speed, everything. You knew that this could only be done by altering the DNA of fully grown adults; something the government refused to even consider.

Your concept was to take criminals and instead of spending money to imprison them, you could change them to be your new super soldiers, complete with a reset of their criminal instincts. The Premier wasnít interested in your ideas unfortunately. The more you pressed the more the patience of the Premier was tested until you were finally relieved of your duties.

Angry and ready for vengeance you decided to take matters into your own hands. You worked independently for years, trying to perfect your studies and now youíve finally gotten something to work with.

Youíre out to find the perfect candidate for your test. At any point during the game you may attempt to take a player and turn them into your own version of a Noble. Some will be more willing then others. If you are successful in finding someone it will take a full cycle of phases for the changes to set.

The player will then take on the form of your personal hitman. Youíll bestow upon them the ability of mind control. They will be able to use any other player in the game to make a kill for them, so that they can keep their hands clean.

If investigated you will show up as a threat.

You win if any member of The Brotherhood is the last person standing.
Would turn turn someone into an SK and then take on their original ability. Would have become multivoter had he not been lynched. Could have converted anyone but Noble and Apostasy.

You are Zhegser Yonurn, Dayordra Aligned Official Fact Checker.

Gender: Female

You are certainly a stickler for the details, which explains why you have such an important role within the government. No information is sent out into the public until you check the details; after all the last thing government needs is to present false information. That is of course unless there is a reason for the false information.

Youíve never been known as the most honest person, you do work for the government after all. If someone were to hypothetically offer you something in return for your altering of facts, you may hypothetically accept.

Because of your ability to skew facts your vote will count as 2 instead of 1.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
Quote:
You are now Lilith, The Brotherhood Aligned First Born.

You were enticed by a scientist to come in for an experiment that could turn you into a soldier more powerful than any Noble could ever dream, and you graciously accepted. The process will not be complete until D5, until then you must wait patiently.

The power bestowed upon you is that of mind control. You can take over anyoneís mind and force them to do your bidding; a very powerful tool to have.

Once the process is complete youíll be able to take over the mind of any player in the game and force them to kill for you. Because of this you will never be seen targeting your victims. To use your ability you must tell us who you are using and who you are killing.

Because of your new powers you will lose your old ability, but this will not take place until the process is complete. During this time however you will be teaching your master your tricks, allowing them to use your ability.

Because you seem the same for all intents and purposes, you will not come up as a threat if investigated.

You may speak with Comradebot outside of the game.

You win if any member of The Brotherhood is the last person standing.
I enjoyed this role as I think it gave the SK one helluva chance to win. BHK played it exceptionally well and really swung the tide of the game.

You are Patroclus, Noble Aligned Well Respected Veteran.

Gender: Male

You are one of the oldest remaining Noble, having served your government for over 50 years. You’ve been by the book from the start, never doing anything that isn’t justified. This has helped you become of the most respected Noble in the citizens eyes.

The power bestowed upon you at birth is that you can use the energy around you as a weapon. You take the energy in and then project it out through your hands with a single shot. This is usually enough to take down any enemy, but you try to only use it in the most dire of circumstances.

You have the ability to select one target and kill them with your energy blast, but there are some ground rules. Because you are just, you may only kill someone if they’ve been voted for during the prior day phase. In addition, you may not kill on back to back nights. You do not have to kill, however.

Because of your standing with the citizens of Dayordra, you will come up as a non-threat if investigated.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
Town vig that had to meet certain criteria. This was mostly a safety precaution to ensure the vig wasn't out killing innocents every night and making things harder on the town.

You are Eunomia, Noble Aligned Mimic.

As far as the Noble go, you aren’t often considered one of the most popular. It isn’t because you are disliked, but you are simply overlooked You are far from flashy, more concerned with getting the job done that drawing attention to yourself. Sometimes that bites you in the ass, as drawing attention is actually beneficial.

The power bestowed upon you is that of absorption. You are able to use the intent of others to your advantage for a limited time.

If you are physically targeted at night you will learn a one shot ability that is the same as the ability used on you. This excludes a kill. If you are targeted by multiple abilities you will have the option to choose which you want. The following night you must use the gained ability or you will lose it.

Because of the current standing of the Noble, you will come up a threat if investigated.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.
He was only ever targeted once and that was with a delayed investigation from michgcs. For what it is worth, he was the female in the write up who was going out for the first time.

You shouldn’t even exist. The scientists of Dayordra have taken great strides in sterilizing all Noble. This was to allow them the ability to take part in certain “human interactions” without any potential issues. Clearly something went wrong somewhere. As far as anyone knows you are the first and only child born of Noble descent. Upon conception you were immediately offered up to the government out of fear. Luckily you turned out just fine, mostly. You are mostly an experiment, seeing how a Noble birthed child can handle Noble alteration.

The power bestowed upon you is hardened skin. You have the ability to make your skin as hard as stone, able to deflect any potential attempts to hurt you. The alterations didn’t take as well as hoped, unfortunately.

You are essentially bulletproof, at least sometimes. Because of your defects you are not able to harden your skin on consecutive nights. You must pm the mods to inform them if you intend to use your action. If distracted during the night you will also be unable to use your ability.

Because of the current standing of the Noble, you will come up a threat if investigated.

You win when all threats to Dayordra have been eliminated.

The only way to make things fair for a "last man standing" SK is to have restrictions on roles like bulletproof and PGO. This idea was all Rev and I think worked out very well.

You very well could be the smartest Noble to have ever been created. In fact, you werenít even offered a spot in The Apostasy to begin with; instead you figured out who they were on your own and volunteered your services. They were impressed.

The power bestowed upon you at birth was that of a hyper active brain. You literally crave knowledge and are able to learn things very quickly. You can solve any problem quickly as well. Your greatest ability, however, may be your ability to craft objects from seemingly anything.

Each night youíll have a finished product. You may give this product to anyone you want. You will know exactly what this product is, but that isnít the best part. Youíve rigged each item to send information back to your personal terminal. You will find out how your item was used, who it was used on, and any results it may deliver.

If investigated you will show up as a threat.

You may speak with your fellow Apostasy members outside of the thread. They are Wallbanger, Jaded, moon_lit_tears, TheKenwyne, and Paws7297.

You win when the number of The Apostasy is equal or greater to that of Dayordra.
I think there has been a scum inventor before, but I have no idea how it worked. This role was designed to both sabotage the town and help make a scum guy look townie. Most of the investigation he had to give out were flavored ones like naive, insane, and paranoid. Not sure how well it worked out and it might need some tweaking, but this is the role that ended up winning the game for the scum.

However, you recently retired because of your disagreements with the now former Premier.

What people donít know is that you are actually Dal Schodd, The Apostasy Aligned Architect.

You are the one who set in motion the formation of The Apostasy. Your position is such a secret that the current members arenít even aware of your affiliation. It was your subtle hints and anonymous notes that paved the way for what you hope to be the future of Dayordra.

When it comes to elections, your history with the people have made it so that you automatically have 1 vote in your favor, youíll also break any tie in your favor. But that isnít all. You are completely aware of everyone who is part of The Apostasy. Note: You are strictly forbidden from speaking with these players outside of the thread. Your job is to try and help them win, no matter what. The members of The Apostasy are:

Because of your standing with the people, if investigated you will show up as a non-threat. If you die, however, your secrets may well be revealed.

You win when the number of The Apostasy is equal or greater to that of Dayordra.
I think Prophet played the role about as well as he could. Had he been able to get on before BHK or Jman voted, probably could have survived. This was a version of a role I had in the CVerse 2 game.

If investigated you will come up as a threat.

You win when the number of The Apostasy is equal or greater to that of Dayordra.
Traditional scum roleblocker.

Jaded
Quote:
You are Phobos, The Apostasy Aligned Sharp Shooter.

Gender: Male

You are the surest shot in all of Dayordra. Youíve never missed your target for any distance. This has made you one arrogant SOB. You would often put on shooting exhibitions in various cities just to get the roar of a crowd. You never really cared about being a Noble, which made you the perfect recruit for The Apostasy.

The power bestowed upon you is that of super human sight. If you focus enough you are capable of seeing miles away without the use of equipment. This is part of the reason why you are such a deadly marksman.

You will operate as the designated hitman for The Apostasy. You will listen to orders and shoot whoever you are told to shoot. You do have one trick up your sleeve though. Youíve been working on mastering the ability to find the weakest spot of a target and now youíre ready to unleash it. Unfortunately you only have enough energy to do it once. This gives you one chance to select a target and fire one deadly shot. The target will die regardless of protection.

If investigated you will come up as a threat.

Hitman with a one shot. Actually wasted his special shot on Grunt who was already vulnerable that night. Though he was as good as dead the next phase, so it really didn't matter.

You are Koios, The Apostasy Aligned Interrogator.

Gender: Male

Being the former interrogator for the Noble you had a very specific job; get the information you need any way possible. As hard as it may sound, it was pretty easy for you. You werenít often called to action in the field, instead having a room set aside where people would be brought to you. You wanted more though. Having learned the horrors of peopleís actions you wanted to get out and fight with your brothers. You were refused. This made you a perfect fit for the The Apostasy.

The power bestowed upon you is that of mind reading. As interrogator your job was pretty easy, you simply had to touch someone, allowing you to access any information in their minds.

Each night you may select a player to attempt a mind read. If successful you will be given information that includes the role of your target.

If investigated you will come up as a threat.

Pretty traditional role cop.

You are Agaue, The Apostasy Aligned Forecaster.

Gender: Female

You are one badass broad.Youíve always been one of the favorite Noble, at least by the men of Dayordra. You donít mind the attention though, in fact you revel in it. Lets just say that you have put in enough time with personal experimentation on the infertility of the Noble. Deep down there really wasnít a reason for you to join The Apostasy; you were simply bored and looking for a new thrill and joining seemed like it would fulfill that desire.

The power bestowed upon you is that of foresight. You can breifly see into the future, allowing you to make proper adjustments if needed. The visions are extremely brief however, meaning you have to act fast.

You have options with your abilities. Each night you may breifly see into the future, seeing if someone is investigated. If they are you will alter their alignment for the night. This will not work on the Noble or The Apostasy however. If you elect to not frame someone you may use a separate ability. During the day phase you can use your foresight to alter votes. If voting for a member of The Apostasy, your vote will not count and youíll convince another not to stick by their vote, essentially you will have a -2 vote. If voting on anyone else, youíll convince another to just aboard, making your vote count as +2. If you want to use this ability you must let the mods know during the day phase.

If investigated you will come up as a threat.

A very cool ability that Rev came up with. Only got to use his ability once I think, because when he got into the game it was pretty much down to him and Jman.

You are Bacchus, The Apostasy Aligned Chameleon.

Gender: Male

You are regarded as the leader of The Apostasy and the one who set up the Premier for assassination. You were always one of his most trusted Noble, but you longed for more power and tear the government out of his hands. You were the last one he would have expected to turn on him, which is why it was so easy to get rid of him. Now all you have to do is take control of the government and Dayordra will be yours.

The power bestowed upon you is that of disguising yourself. You can briefly take the form of anyone you can think of.

Each night you may select any player in the game and take the form of them. If investigated you will show up as their alignment and if killed your body will appear as theirs.

The "Don" as far as the group knew. Came up scum when investigated by michgcs because she was blocked by Dragonmack that night.

There are the roles, if you have any questions or anything just ask. Not sure if I'll do a breakdown of all the write ups, but if there is a demand for them I can try.

I hope everyone enjoyed it and hopefully all of you will sign up for DUST 2 later this year!

Shame. I totally knew SF was behind the shenanigans behind Paws' lynch but I never capitalized on anything. Cool roles about so far. Nice game and great job to the winners.

To quote Destiny, "I rocked this game!" And this is meant to be read in a joking manner. While I did do all that, Jman and Prophet did play great games as well. Man I wish I would have kept Prague around!!!!
I kept asking about mich and your storylines, because I wanted to turn the game against you as a recruit. Glad it didn't work, `cause you were evil, and all full of kills. lol

And if I had to do it again, knowing what I know now, I'd have still held the info until the following day. Because you would've offed me during the night.

Phenomenal game IER and Rev. That second to last night phase had me all tweaked with anticipation. Just glad I died after pp and Smart, `cause I think those two could've outted my evil tendencies, postmortem.

I can answer one question people may have had, as in what happened when Ranson was taken away. That was a council action as we had the ability to basically 'lock up' one person for a night phase and make him untargetable. As it was in doubt whether Ranson was scum or the princess role he claimed and turned out to be, the council figured this was the best way to protect or neutralize him for that phase. If he was scum, he was basically roleblocked. If he wasn't scum, he was protected.

For the record, suicide bomber is a type of role I have grown to avoid. It forces a player to stop playing in order to win. That's kind of counter-intuitive. In mafia games IRL where there's less than 15 people it works fine because you sit out for about 5 minutes. On here it's kind of a drag.

I included a suicide bomber in a game on NLW once and I think Arrows used it early and I immediately thought "Well, his game was kind of boring".

I know it's a team game, I played the role, and I did my best to hit scum (did I hit scum?), but I would simply like to suggest to future mods that such roles be thought about heavily before being added. Yea, being on a team requires personal sacrifice at times, but launching yourself into a cheer-leading role on purpose seems like a situation to be avoided when possible. Maybe it's just me. It's normally just me...

All I'm saying is it's weird to say "I was having fun playing, and then I achieved my win condition".

Sorry I wasn't the most talkative council colleague - didn't really want to disucss anything as I wasn't 100% on Prophet (not that I had any evidence at any point, I was just wary).

I think this game was the best advert for that game - I really, enjoyed it. Certainly can't argue with the balance - although the Cult/SK and Scum had decent abilities, the town was pretty powerful as well. At various points any of the three factions could have won it.

Never had the role myself, so if I did my thoughts might be different to what they are now, but the way I see the role is as more fun than a role where you got night-killed the night before you went all Dayordra. Whether it's any worse than a standard indy survivor which actually encourages you to just sit back and do as little as possible all game is debatable.

Well, for the record, I'm not a fan or "useless and neutral" roles either. For them, the game seems to revolve around the question "Is he really useless and neutral?" and our answer is invariably "Let's kill him to be safe".
