We received a mixed response to our first show-my first show at all-of 2010. Overall the feeling was positive, that a promotion our size is to be applauded for such an effort. My short term goal is to make this company a Cult entity, and that show would not be out of place in that sized promotion.

Our greatest achievemnt was certainly the main event. Wrestling magazines have rated it an 80/100; comparitively, the company itself is sized at under 50/100. Every match, in fact, was greater than our size; while I do not know how that data is comparable, (being that a company's popularity and a match's quality are not in like units) this does imply upward movement for us.

As to the negative reactions:
First, some people liked the gimmicks; some did not. I knew this walking into the show. Furthermore, I think the biggest reason we did not get a sellout was due to the populace's lack of faith in my ability. Rather, their belief that I am going to change this company to something nothing like WLW. While that belief is wrong, it is nonetheless a belief I can understand. With a few more shows I hope to prove my integrity.

As to the details that I should have known but for which I did not prepare, first is SPEED D's poor reception. Had I realized the lack of performance ability he had, I would have not put him on the main show. He is young; he will grow and learn. But currently he is not ready to take part in matches whose outcome affect the overall show-and thereby the company. I believe he will be in such a place soon; his tag team will only help that.

The out-of-ring focus I put toward The 505 was misplaced. In the ring they are great performers; their match's positive reception is proof of that. But they themselves are not overly popular and some of them cannot speak Japanese. Ergo, when time is spent on their character, not their wrestling, the crowd does not care. This was my biggest blunder and quite possibly caused the show to be rated a few points lower by itself.

With that said and learned, I will soon have our next card available. I will also have a few more essays soon.
