Now you see the way I've always read Peverill, that's exactly why he has Hands Of Stone. People were always taking advantage of him because he seemed like the pretty boy or the sneak or whatever. He kept getting pummeled as a young guy because he was never seen as being tough. So he worked his hands into blocks of granite and uses them as sort of secret weapons. He suckers people in. Letting them believe he's cowardly or slimy or whatever they think of him. Then right when they think they have him, BAM!! Hands of Stone putting their lights out.
