Liz is a very smart, calculating woman who always tries to know what everyone around her is doing so that she can use that information to her advantage. She seems to get along with most of that people that she meets and she hopes to use her personality to her advantage during the game.

Liz hobbies include shopping, playing video games, and writing.

Liz is currently single and she resides in Buffalo, New York. Her birthdate is August 12.

Stephanie Dennis (21)
Hometown: Austin, TX
Job: Unemployed (Student)

Stephanie, or “Steph” as she likes to be called, is a very pretty young woman who is used to getting her way. She uses her girl next door looks to her advantage, as all she has to do is bat her eyes at a guy and most guys will go out of their way to help her.

Stephanie’s hobbies include shopping, shopping, and ah…more shopping.

Stephanie is currently single and she resides in Austin, Texas with her cat Donnie Darko. Her birthdate is July 19.

Brenda Hoffman (45)
Hometown: San Francisco, CA
Job: Owner of an Organic Pizza Restaurant

Brenda was born and raised on a Hippy Compound and therefore she does not look at the world the way that others might. Brenda is not very reliable and one could say that she is very flaky. One thing that can be said about her is that she is not afraid to speak her mind no matter who she offends.

Brenda’s hobbies include hiking, flying kites, and making her own clothes.

Brenda is in a relationship with her common law husband and she resides in San Francisco, California with her common law husband Otto and her two children Otto Jr. and Sunbeam. Her birthdate is February 24.

Linda Dowling (57)
Hometown: Columbus, OH
Job: Retired High School Math Teacher

Linda is a very conservative woman who is quick to pass judgment on others. She is known for her backhanded compliments.

Linda’s hobbies include reading, playing bridge, playing with her grandchildren and smoking cigarettes.

Linda is married and resides in Columbus, Ohio where she lives with her husband Jason. Her birthday is March 3.

Ashley Simone (33)
Hometown: Portland, OR
Job: Office Manager

Ashley is a very quiet woman who never speaks unless she has something to say. She says that her approach to the game will be to fly under the radar and do whatever the majority wants her do to, as long as it is not against her or her interests.

Ashley’s hobbies include going out with her friends, listening to music, and cooking.

Ashley is in a relationship and she resides in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend Fred. Her birthday is December 28.

Job: Paralegal

Emily is a very easy going woman who people tend to flock to. She is a natural born leader who is also very motherly.

Emily’s hobbies include going to the gym, shopping (when she has the time), and reading.

Emily is married and resides in Sarasota, Florida with her husband Calvin and her four children Amy, Candace, Mary, and Keith. Her birthday is May 13.

Nicole is a follower who will do whatever others want her to do, sometimes at the detriment of herself. She is a pretty good athlete and she hopes that translates into her doing well in challenges.

Job: Elementary School Teacher

Maria is a very athletic woman who is extremely competitive. She hates to lose at anything and when she does lose she is the very definition of a sore loser.

Maria’s hobbies include dancing, listening to music, and going to the gym.

Maria is single and resides in Tacoma, Washington. Her birthday is May 6.

Peter Ross (37)
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Job: Physical Therapist

Peter is an openly gay man who loves to boss others around. He is also very paranoid and often thinks that others are out to get him. Peter has a tendency to read people poorly and because of this he is often not aware when others do not like him.

Peter’s hobbies include going to the gym, biking, and sailing.

Peter lives with his life partner and resides in Chicago, Illinois with his life partner Floyd and their two cats LOL and OMG. His birthday is January 3.

Job: Professor

Bruce is a highly intelligent man who is constantly assessing any situation that he is in. He says he is going to downplay his intelligence so that people do not view him as a threat.

Bruce’s hobbies include playing chess, reading, and painting.

Job: Taxi Cabdriver

Carl is very much a follower; he is the type of person that likes to ride the coattails of others instead of actually making moves for himself.

Lester Jackson (26)

Job: Waiter

Lester is someone who does not like to work, sure he will claim he does not like to do anything so he can rest up for challenges but that is not the case he is just lazy. He is however a very good athlete, who will do whatever it takes to win.

Lester is single and resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His birthdate is September 8.

Angelo Izzo (24)
Hometown: Boston, MA
Job: Construction Worker

Angelo is someone who fancies himself as a leader and he loves to call the shots. He thinks in very black and white, meaning if you are not with him you are against him.

Angelo hobbies include fishing, watching sports, and macking to the ladies.

Angelo is single and resides in Boston, Massachusetts. His birthdate is November 22.

Gary Warrick (43)

Job: Professional Bowler

Gary is a very paranoid guy who, because of his height, feels like he always has to prove himself to be equal or better than everyone else.

Abe is a very good athlete who goes out of his way to get along with everyone that he meets. He is usually the person who tries to put an end to conflict if he can.

Episode One-Day One- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[There is an establishing shot of a massive building located somewhere in the United States. The camera zooms into the front door of the building. The door opens up and the viewers are now shown what appears to be a lounge area.

Host Mack George appears in front of the camera with a smarmy smirk on his face and he is wearing the same damn grey shirt with a red tie and brown khaki pants that he wore last season.]



Mack George: Hello and welcome to the Compound! Last season sixteen perfect strangers came to this Compound to see if they had what it takes to win seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars. In the end James “Jim Force” Wade was the ultimate winner. Tonight we begin a new journey as sixteen new contestants will compete against each other.

Like last season the compound will test the contestants will, mind, bodies and souls. These contestants will be separated into two teams of eight and each episode they will have to vote one of their own out. They will live in separate wings of the Compound where their every move will be taped by cameras 24/7! Now join us as we see who has what it take to become the winner of The Compound!

[The opening credits role, we see photographs and live-action shots of the contestants wearing their best turmoil faces.]

Mack George

[We are now back inside the studio where Mack George sits cross legged on a sofa.]



Mack George: Now on tonight’s episode we will meet this season’s contestants.

[Mack George does a voiceover talking about the various contestants as we see pictures of them.

The next live shot we see is Mack outside standing in front of the contestants. Mack has his typical smarmy smirk on his face as he surveys the contestants.]



Mack George: Hello contestants and welcome to the Compound. Take a good look around you because for the next few months this will be your home. You will come to know the people standing here with you; some of these people may end up becoming your friend while others may end up becoming your enemy. You will compete against each other for the chance to win seven-hundred and fifty thousand dollars and to earn the right to be called the winner of The Compound!

[We see a reaction shot of the contestants, who are all looking at their fellow contestants, sizing them up. We then cut back to Mack George.]



Mack George: You might be wondering why you have not been informed on which team you will be on. Well as of right now there are no teams and that leads us into the first challenge of the season. We are going to have two races one will be between the men and the other shall be between the women.

Your goal is to run one hundred yards the first four men and the first four women that make it to the finish line in their respective race will advance to the next round of the challenge. In the next round of the challenge you will have to solve a puzzle the first two people that solve the puzzle in their respective race will advance into the third and final round of the challenge. The third and final round of the challenge will be a good old fashion foot race the top two contestants in their respective race shall race back towards me.

The first man and the first woman to complete their respective races will be made captains of their team. Both captains will be exempt from being voted out should their team lose the first exemption challenge.

Once the two captains are determined we shall have the two captains pick their new team’s schoolyard style, alternating each pick by gender. Meaning the male captain’s first pick has to be a woman and the female captain’s first pick has to be a male. Are there any questions?

[The contestants all give a response of no.]



Mack George: Good then, let’s draw for spots…

[The women, who are the first to run, are all lined up at the starting line ready to compete in the race.]



Mack George: Ladies are you ready? Go!

[Before we are shown the actual race we get the first confessional of the season, which is from Maria.]



Maria (In the confessional): I had to win this race and become a team captain. There was just no way I could lose to any of the other women. I mean half of them looked like they were ready to go into an old age home. How bad would I look if I lost to any of them?

[We now go to the start of the race. Right out of the gate Maria and Nicole are neck and neck for the lead in the race with Emily following close behind in third. The rest of the women seem to be not even trying to do well.]



Brenda (In the confessional): Man, I will admit that I tanked the race. To me it is extremely stupid to win the race because it just puts a huge target on your back. So yeah I wasn’t about to give that race everything I had because I did not want to be in a position where I was going to be viewed as a team leader…that is just something I was not cool with.

[Back to the race and Nicole is the first to cross the finish line thus advancing into the next round. She is followed closely by Maria who came in second and Emily who came in third. The fourth and final spot went to Ashley who was a few seconds behind Emily. That means that Liz, Linda, Brenda, and Stephanie were eliminated from this competition.]



Mack George: Okay Nicole, Emily, Maria and Ashley are now about to compete in the second round of this challenge.

Ladies are you ready? Go!

[Emily and Maria seem to be flying through the puzzle while Ashley and Nicole seem to have no clue as to what they are doing.]



Nicole (In the confessional): I felt so dumb when I was doing that puzzle…especially seeing how I was standing in between Maria and Emily and they were both working so quickly. I am not sure what was going wrong…I mean I used to do a ton of puzzles all of the time when I was a kid…

[Alas, today was not Nicole’s today to impress us with her puzzle skills as both Maria and Emily finished their respective puzzles before Nicole was even half way through with hers.

We now see Maria and Emily lined up at the starting line getting ready to compete in the final leg of their challenge. ]



Mack George: Okay it’s down to Emily and Maria, one of these two women will end up being a team captain and as such they will earn the right to pick their team. Also, should their team lose the first exemption challenge, they will hold individual exemption. This means that they cannot be voted off at the first elimination ceremony.

Ladies are you ready? Go!

[This was not a competitive final heat as Maria easily smoked Emily who is Maria’s senior by thirteen years. As Maria crosses the finish line Mack George holds up his arms like an NFL referee after the kicker makes a good field goal.]



Mack George: Maria wins! Congratulations Maria you are the first team captain!

Maria (In the confessional): I knew I was going to win, there was just no way any of those chicks were gonna beat Maria Sanchez! Now I get to draft my team, man this feels great!

[After Maria’s confessional we cut back to Mack who is standing next to the men, who are all lined up.]

Mack George: Men are you ready? Go!

[The men start to run and right from the start it seems like just Peter and Angelo were even trying to win as the rest of the men were lagging behind. Lester was the slowest of them all, making no real effort to do well in this challenge.]



Lester (In the confessional): Man, I wasn’t even trying to pick up the w right here. So I did a little slow job, what I would funny was how fast the little dude ran. I mean that guy got some tiny legs but he sure did fly.

[Angelo finished first in the race followed by Peter just mere seconds later. Abe and Carl finished in third and fourth respectively meaning Peter, Angelo, Carl, and Abe advanced into the next round of the challenge.]



Mack George: Okay, the puzzle round of this challenge will take place between Angelo, Abe, Carl, and Peter.

Gentlemen are you ready? Go!

[None of the men seem particularly good at the puzzle portion of the challenge. In fact, they are so bad that the producers decided to throw in a time lapse showing us after six minutes only Peter is close to solving his puzzle.]



Angelo (In the confessional): Man we’re a bunch of dumbasses, even the women that sucked at the puzzle challenge did better than us. I mean I am not a puzzle master but I thought I could do this…I mean it looked simple enough…but I was wrong.

[Finally after six minutes and forty-four seconds Peter is the first person to finish. He is then joined in the finals by Abe who finished his puzzle in seven minutes and eleven seconds according to the graphic at the bottom of the screen.

We now see Abe and Peter at the starting line, before the race starts Abe offers his hand to Peter and they shake and they shake hands and wish each other good luck.]



Mack George: Abe, Peter, you both know what is at stake if you win this challenge.

Gentlemen are you ready? Go!

[Peter and Abe are neck and neck in this race and at the very last second Peter pulls ahead and picks up the photo-finish win. As Peter crosses the finish line Mack George holds up his arms like an NFL referee after the kicker makes a good field goal.]



Mack George: Peter wins! Congratulations Peter you join Maria as a team captain!

Peter (In the confessional): Wow…just wow! I can’t believe I just won that! I actually feel bad for the other guys. Especially when they find out that they lost to a gay guy, that is going to be a huge blow to their testosterone fueled egos. I bet you, that they are all going to wish that never happened because you just know their stupid buddies at home are going to be laughing at them. Well they better get used to it because not only am I a good athlete, I’m also gonna make this game fierce.

Episode One-Day One- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[After Peter’s confessional we see Mack standing in front of the contestants with Maria on his right and Peter on his left.]



Mack George: Okay we just flipped a coin to decide who was going to pick first. Maria called tails and it ended up tails, which means Maria you get first pick. As a reminder you must pick a man with your first pick. So Maria who is going to be your first pick?

[Without any hesitation Maria tells Mack who she wants as the first pick.]



Maria: Mack I want the cute guy in the red shirt…oh that did not come out right…

[Maria embarrassingly laughs along with Mack and the other contestants as Angelo walks over to Maria and gives her a hug and then stands next to her.]



Maria (In the confessional): Why did I pick Angelo? Well if I am going to be here for a month, I gotta have my eye candy and Angelo fits that quota quite good.

[Mack George turns to Peter and informs him that he must now make his pick.]



Mack George: Okay, now it is time for you to make your first pick Peter. As a reminder it has to be a woman.

[Peter stands there for a moment and really thinks over who his first pick will be. Finally he points at Nicole.]



Peter: I will take the girl with the white pants.

[Nicole walks over to Peter and gives him a hug and a little kiss on his cheek. He smiles as she tells him that her name is Nicole.]



Peter (In the confessional): The reason I chose Nicole as my first pick was because she was the only woman who made eye contact with me. The rest of the women were just sort of looking down at the ground. That showed me that the other women were not gamers and I don’t want to fill my team with a bunch of people who are not ready to play.



Mack George: Maria it is now time for you to make your second pick. As a reminder you must pick a female this time around.

[Maria looks over at Mack with an agitated look on her face due to his constant reminder of the rules. She and Angelo discuss who they want to pick for a brief moment before Maria informs Mack who the next pick will be.]



Maria: Mack, I would like to pick the woman in the green top.

[Ashley looks surprised that she was the next pick. She walks over to her new teammates and gives them a hug.]



Ashley (In the confessional): I am not sure why Maria picked me third because I thought for sure there would be other women that would be picked before me. Not that I am complaining, cuz it looks like we got a chill team right here.



Mack George: Peter, it is now time for you to make your next pick. Remember your next pick has to be a guy.

[Peter looks at the guys for a moment before he points at Abe, Nicole does not look at all happy that Peter did not consult her before making the pick.]



Peter: Mack, I am going to pick the younger guy in the black shirt, because he gave me a run for my money just a few minutes ago.

[Peter walks over to his team and once again shakes Peter’s hand. He then gives Nicole a hug and introduces himself to her.]



Peter (In the confessional): I am pretty sure that Nicole was none too pleased over the fact that I chose Abe without even consulting her. She shot me a dirty look and I was thinking to myself, “Bitch, you can shoot me all the dirty looks you want. This is my team and I am going to draft the players that I want. End of story.”

Of course I only thought that but come on, when I beat Abe earlier in the race he proved to me that he would be able to hang with me. Plus he is not bad to look at and it always helps to have a nice young beefcake on your team. It is a shame that he did not want to give me a hug…



Mack George: Okay Maria it is your turn to pick.

[Maria looks over the men for a second and then she turns and consults with Angelo and Ashley as to whom she should choose. Ashley is overheard telling Maria to pick the brother; Maria nods her head in agreement. ]



Maria: I would like to pick the tall guy with the black shirt.

[Lester walks over to his new teammates and introduces himself to them.]



Lester (In the confessional): I was so happy when Maria chose me to be on her team. You see Maria wants to actually have a winning team. I don’t know what that other dude is doing, all I know is the team he is putting together just don’t look like they’re gonna be any good. We will probably kick their collective asses on a regular basis.



Mack George: Peter it is not your turn to choose the next member of your team.

[Peter once again takes a moment to make his decision; once again he does not consult his teammates about the choice.]



Peter: Um…I think I would like to pick the girl with the pink sneakers on.

[Liz walks over to her new teammates with a huge smile on her face.]



Peter (In the confessional): Okay none of the women that were left really stood out to me. The reason why I chose Liz was because she had on these fierce pink sneakers. I figured if the girl has fashion sense, she will be a perfect fit on my team.



Mack George: Maria it is now your turn.

[Maria does not bother to even consult her teammates this time as she knows who she wants to pick.]



Maria: Well my next pick is going to be Emily because she did so well in the race against me.

[Emily mouths the words, “thank you”, to Maria as she walks over to the mat to join her new team.]



Maria (In the confessional): Choosing Emily was a no brainer for me because a, I already knew her name and b she made it into the finals in our race. Yeah I beat her big time but at least she tried in that race.



Mack George: Peter it is now your turn to choose.

[This time Peter does not even bother to think over the next pick.]



Peter: Um…I am going to go with the guy that is wearing the Red Sox hat.

[A look of relief crawls across Carl’s face as he joins his new team.]



Peter (In the confessional): Picking Carl when I did was a no brainer. I mean just look at the men that were left over besides him. You had two old dudes and an Oompa Loompa.

And let me tell you this, there is just no way that your team can be a fierce team with an Oompa Loompa on it…believe that. It does suck that one of those two old farts will end up on my team though.



Mack George: Maria it is now time for you to make your choice.

[Maria turns and looks at her teammates and they discuss which of the remaining guys they want to take. This debate goes on for a little bit, which causes Mack George to step in and force them to make a pick.]



Mack George: Maria if you and your team cannot decide which guy you are going to pick next for your team, you will forfeit the right to pick and instead the other team will pick for you.

[That seemed to be the kick in the ass that Maria needed as she turned to Mack and gave him an answer right after he threaten to take her decision away from her.]



Maria: Let’s go with the gentleman that has the green jogging pants on.

[Bruce lets out a sigh of relief as he walks over to his new teammates.]



Bruce (In the confessional): It was a bit troubling for me to get picked so late. I understand why, because I am older than most of the other contestants. However, I might be old but I am still in great shape so I hope I can prove to the rest of my team that I was a worthy selection.



Mack George: Okay Peter it is time for you to make your next pick.

[Once again Peter does not even bother to think over who he is going to pick next. He points directly at Stephanie and says.]



Peter: I would like the girl with the blonde hair to join my team.

[Steph smiles and claps her hands as she runs over to join her new teammates.]



Peter (In the confessional): Choosing Steph was another no brainer, I mean it was her and the two old hags left to pick from. I knew that one of the old hags was going to end up on my team but I did not want them both. So I just had to choose Step to be on our team.



Mack George: Maria you must choose between Linda and Brenda. Which one of them will be the final female member of your team?

[Maria consults her teammates and it seems like none of them really care which woman they get on their team.]



Maria: We’ll go with…ah…Linda.

[Linda walks over to her new team with a smile on her face, most likely because she was not chosen last.]



Maria (In the confessional): To be honest with you, I didn’t even know which one was Linda and which one was Brenda. I mean it didn’t really matter because they both sucked in the race so neither one of them would be a huge asset to our team. I will say that had I know who was who I probably would have picked Brenda because I was standing next to Linda before the race started and the woman reeked of cigarettes.



Mack George: Well Brenda that means you are the final woman on Peter’s team, why don’t you join your new teammates.



Brenda (In the confessional): It didn’t bother me that I was chosen last. It’s all good; I am a go with the flow type of person so I did not really care when I got picked or what team I ended up on. At the end of the day fate…destiny…or whatever chose me to be in the spot that I am in and I am cool with that.



Mack George: Okay Peter you must choose between Gary and Robert. Which one of them will be the final member of your team?

[Peter looks at his two options; Gary is standing there sheepishly looking at the ground. While Robert looks Peter directly in the eyes, never once blinking or looking away.]



Peter: I’ll take the guy with the gray hair.

[Robert slowly walks over to his new team.]



Robert (In the confessional): Well I was pretty shocked that I wasn’t picked last. Even though it was between Gary and me, I thought for sure Peter would have chosen Gary to be on his team for the simple fact that Gary is the younger guy.



Mack George: Okay then that means Gary is the final member of Maria’s team…



Gary (In the confessional): I was not surprised to be chosen last. It is the story of my life; I have had to fight for everything I have earned in my life. So this is nothing new to me, if people want to judge me because of my height…well so be it. I will be the one laughing when I walk away with the money at the end of the game.



Mack George: Now that the teams are all set, I would like to inform you of a major change from last season. As you know we previously had a poor wing and a rich wing of the Compound. Well that is not the case this season, this season both wings will be poor wings.

This means each wing has four stone beds, no hot water, each team will only be allowed to eat bread and water, and each team has just one restroom. Both teams will have to earn basic amenities through victories in the Luxury Competitions.

Okay now that the teams have been formed and you know about the Compound it is time for each team to make their way to their wing. Peter your team, which is the Purple Team, will be living in the west wing of the Compound. While Maria your team, which is the Green team, will be living in the east wing of the Compound.

Mack George: All right then, let the game begin.

I can see the comparison between Richard Hatch and Peter. He really is not based that much on Richard though, he is more of a mix of John Carroll and Colton from the previous season of the show.

[Back from the commercial break and we see the members of the Purple team settling into their new digs. Peter, Steph, Abe, and Robert are standing there looking at the sleeping arrangements.]



Peter: I am going to say this right now; I would like to sleep on one of the beds. I have a bad back and it would be just murder on my back to sleep on the floor…

[Abe rolls his eyes at Peter’s proclamation.]



Abe: Dude there are four women on this team and four beds. Now they might not be the most comfortable beds to sleep on, but they look to be more comfortable than the floor. So I think the women should get the beds and you should just act like a man and sleep on the floor.

[Peter looks shocked that Abe would have the audacity to disagree with him in front of others.]



Peter: Um…no. That is just not going to happen, if I sleep on the floor I might never get up. I don’t want to take a bed away from a woman; I need to take a bed from a woman.

Also, what is up with that act like a man thing? Did you say that to me because I am gay and thus you are questioning my masculinity?

[Abe shakes his head in disgust over being accused of being homophobic.]



Abe: I wasn’t saying that because you are gay. I was just saying that because you are a man and as a man you should forgo your comfort so that the women can be more comfortable. That is all that I meant by that statement, nothing more, nothing less.

[Stephanie taps Peter on the shoulder and he turns to look at her.]



Stephanie: Peter I have no problem sleeping on the floor at all. In fact I think it could be kind of cool because I have never done that before. So if you want my bed, go ahead and take it. I am cool with it.

[Peter smiles at Stephanie.]



Peter: Thank you Stephanie, I truly wish I did not have to take you up on your offer but my back is kind of forcing me to take you up on your offer so I appreciate it.



Stephanie: No worries, look I just want the fighting to stop. We could potentially be living together for the next month and it would be cool if we could get along with no drama. If that means me sleeping on the floor because of your bad back, well I am cool with doing that. Just as long as there is no more drama for the time being, especially because it is day one. We are meant to enjoy ourselves today.

[We now see Peter in the confessional.]



Peter (In the confessional): You know I really do not have a bad back, what I was doing there today was a test. I wanted to see if anyone would willingly give up their bed for me. Steph was a sweetheart and did exactly what I wanted her to do and it was to the detriment of her.

That is exactly what I wanted to have happen; I want everyone in this game to do what I want them to do. I want them to do what benefits me first and Steph has just showed me that she is someone that would do that for me. I know that there are going to be others that will do stuff that is only beneficial for me as well. In fact, you might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children. They are going to be looking to me for leadership and guidance and I will provide if to them, until I eliminate them.

Speaking of wanting to eliminate people, I am not sure if Abe realizes it or not but he made an enemy today. He is truly a dumb himbo; I mean who does he think he is...trying to insult me by telling me to act like a man. I have been dealing with bullies my whole life and he is just another in a long line of them. Too bad for him, in this game I have the power to deal with him. Abe you are officially on my hit list.



Abe (In the confessional): Normally I am a chill guy, I try to resolve any drama that is going on and I try not to create it. However, today I could just not stand there and allow Peter to get his way. I think he feels he is the de facto team leader just because he chose the team.

He has to understand that there is no I in team and that we each need to make sacrifices if we are going to win as a team and later on as individuals. Yes I probably made an enemy today, but it is what it is. You can’t please all of the people all of the time and not everyone in this life is going to like you.

Episode One-Day One- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[We now head to the Green Team’s wing of the Compound where we see Lester and Angelo standing outside talking.]



Lester: We’ve got a stacked team dude, yeah we got some dead weight on this team like the old Asian dude, the old hag, and that midget but we’re going to be so good it’ll hardly matter that them folks are on our team. Plus if we lose we can just send one of em free.



Angelo: Yeah my dude, I was thinking the same thing bro. With me and you on this team, we are not going to lose to that other team too often.

Seeing how we are already on the same page thinking wise, I was wondering what you were thinking alliance wise. Who do you seeing yourself aligning with?



Lester: The obvious choice would be me, you, and Maria. I think we’d be a great three person team and I think…no…I know we can control this team.



Angelo: I like that line of thinking, but I was thinking that maybe we could make it a five person alliance. We would be the core three and the other two would just be there so we would have the majority. Because if we hold the majority in every vote we will decide who is going to leave and who is going to stay.

If we have the core three of you, me and Maria, I think we should still try and get Ashley and Emily on board with our plan. That makes five, which means if we lose three exemption challenges we will be able to vote out all of the dead weight on the team and we will still be protected. Even if we were to lose a fourth exemption challenge, it would not matter because we could just get rid of one of the girls.



Lester: I like that idea man, like you said even if we lose, we are still going to be protected. Not that I see us losing too much though because that other team has some weak ass folks on it. Me and you are going to run this game son, we’re gonna win some challenges and if we don’t we gonna take some fools out!



Angelo: Hell yeah, that’s what I’m talking about dude!

[Angelo and Lester high five each other at the thought of the damage the two of them are going to do in the game.]



Lester (In the confessional): You know Angelo and I are gonna have the perfect set-up. He and I are going to be the shot callers, the two dudes that run everything. We’re gonna add the women for protection and we are just gonna bull rush this game. Mock my words, Angelo and I are going to be in the final two. There is no doubt about that.



Angelo (In the confessional): You know with this being day one, I understand how absurd it is to be thinking about the final two. However, if I can make it to the final two with anyone, I am going to take Lester there. Within two seconds of meeting the guy, I knew he was the type of guy that is going to make enemies in the game.

Which I am totally cool with, better the heat be on him than on me. I also like the set-up that we were talking about, it kind of reminds me of a mafia family set-up where I am the Godfather, Lester is the
Consigliere, and if…or should I say when we get the women to join us they will be the soldiers. You know the people that are just there to carry out my orders. Man this game is going to be fun…

Episode One-Day One- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[It is now night time, 9:39 pm to be precise or that is what the graphic at the bottom of the screen is telling us. We are still looking in on the Green Team’s wing of the Compound. This time we see Linda and Bruce sitting outside on plastic lawn chairs. They appear to be the only two outside right now.

Linda, who has a lit cigarette dangling from her right hand, takes a puff of said cigarette before she begins to talk.]



Linda: Our team is pretty good; I think we will have a decent shot at staying in this game for a while because we should win a couple of challenges.

[Bruce nods his head and stares up at the night sky.]



Bruce: If we do not win, it is going to be you, Gary, or myself that will be going home. I am sure the plan is already in motion as to which one of us will be leaving. From a logical standpoint it has to be one of us. This is a shame because I do not want to be the first one to be eliminated from this game.

[Linda sucks down on her cancer stick for a moment and then exhales.]



Linda: Don’t be so negative, you don’t know that one of us will be the first one to go. You are probably right, but that does not make it a fact. You and I have got to build relationships with these younger people, we’ve got to make them need us around. If we get all negative, then of course they are going to target us first.



Bruce: I just do not see any options for either you or me. I guess we could find out who the kingpin is on this team and maybe ingratiate ourselves to whoever that person is…



Linda: Do you think that there is already someone calling the shots? I mean we’ve only been here a couple of hours…



Bruce: A kingpin always emerges in any situation. I suppose our objective would be to find out just whom it is. My bet would either be on Maria or that young kid with the slicked back hair. That kid is a game player, I can already tell that just by talking to him for the few minutes that I did. He is going to want to be the one calling the shots.



Linda: Adam? Is that the one you are talking about?



Bruce: I am bad with names, I think that is what his name is…I know it begins with a.



Linda: I’m not sure that he is going to be the guy that will be calling the shots. I think it will probably be Maria; she seems to be very opinionated and very vocal.

[Linda gets up out of her lawn chair and pats Bruce on his right knee.]



Linda: Well I am going to get ready to go to bed. I know it is still early but I have never slept on a stone slab before, so I think that my body is probably going to have to get used to it.

[Bruce looks at Linda and nods his head before returning his gaze up to the night sky.]



Bruce: Have a good night.

[We now see Linda sitting in the confessional.]



Linda (In the Confessional): Everything that Bruce said is right; if this team loses my head is going to be on the chopping block. I know he is right about that, but I am not going to be a negative Nancy about it.

I am going to try and work these people…make myself indispensable to them. I am also probably going to have to limit my conversations with Bruce because I have a funny feeling that he is going to make himself an outcast. And trust me when I say this, I don’t want any part of being an outcast on this team.

Episode One-Day Two- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[It is now day two, or 9:13 am on day two to be precise. We see Brenda and Carl of the Purple Team walking over to the mailbox to retrieve challenge mail. The two of them return to what is the common living area where the rest of their teammates are sitting.]



Brenda: Well dudes, we’ve got challenge mail! This is going to be far out!

[On the other side of the Compound we see Maria and Bruce going to retrieve the mail for their team. The rest of the Green Team is outside chatting, so Maria and Bruce go outside and inform them that they just got challenge mail.]



Bruce: Hey folks, it looks like we have challenge mail!

[The Green Team shows excitement over the prospect of going to their first challenge.]

[We are now taken over to the challenge site as the camera gives us a spectacular wide shot of the challenge site. The Purple Team, led by Peter of course, is the first team to arrive. They are greeted by host Mack George and his typical smarmy smile.]



Mack George: Come on in Purple Team. Welcome!

[Shortly thereafter, the Green Team arrives with Lester leading the way.]



Mack George: Come on in Green Team!

[Mack waits for both teams to line up on their respective mats before he begins speaking to them.]



Mack George: Okay welcome contestants to your first luxury challenge of the season. As you can see behind me there are two basketball type hoops with actual baskets attached to them. In this challenge you will have three members of your team shoot hoops. Once your team manages to get six balls into your basket, your team will move onto the next phase of the challenge.

In the second phase of the challenge you will send three players on the team to retrieve three bags, inside those bags are puzzle pieces. These bags are tied onto a rope so each team member must work on untying one bag. After all three bags are untied; the three players that untied the bag must race over to the puzzle stations.

The puzzle station is stage three of the challenge. At the puzzle station, the final two members of the team must work together to solve their team’s puzzle. The first team to complete their puzzle wins the challenge.

[Both teams enthusiastically answer yes.]



Mack George: The winning team will find their refrigerator stocked with food upon their return from this challenge. This will continue for the next for the next week, so the winning team will have their refrigerator stocked for a week!

Does anyone have any questions about today’s challenge?

[Nobody does and one has to wonder why Mack always asks this question when nobody ever replies to him.]



Mack George: Okay, I shall give you a moment to strategize. (Moments later.) Okay shooting baskets for the Green Team are Lester, Maria, and Angelo. Shooting baskets for the Purple Team are Abe, Carl, and Stephanie. Contestants ready? Okay go!

[Both teams to not seem very good at shooting hoops as each team seemed to be missing pretty badly. Lester misses one shot very badly when he somehow manages to throw the ball over the backboard. He then has to go and track down the ball.]



Angelo (In the Confessional): Man I thought black guys were supposed to be good at basketball; well it seems nobody bothered to tell Lester that. He was just horrible out there bro, he was missing everything he threw up.



Lester (In the Confessional, he starts laughing.): What can I say; I guess I don’t live up to the basketball stereotype. Truth be told, I’d rather play football any day of the week.

[Stephanie is the first person to actually score for her team. That means the Purple Team is winning the challenge, which would change in just a short amount of time as Angelo went on a hot streak. He managed to get four balls in a row into his team’s basket.

Shortly after Angelo sunk the fourth ball, Maria managed to get a ball into the basket. This meant that the Green Team was up five to one at this point. Abe was able to score a point but it did not matter as Angelo scored another basket shortly thereafter and the Green Team was able to move on to the next part of the challenge.]

[The three contestants that were taking part in the next phase of the challenge for the Green Team were Gary, Linda, and Emily. They took off running towards where the bags were. Emily got there first and immediately went to work on her bag.

Meanwhile, the shooting woes for the Purple Team continued as nobody on the team seemed to be able to hit the broadside of a barn. Carl managed to get the third ball in but the members of the Purple Team were still struggling to score anything.]

Peter (In the Confessional): I truly can say that I am embarrassed for our team. Also, I am embarrassed for being the one that put this team together. Stephanie, Carl, and Abe suck at basketball and they suck at life…

[The members of the Green team blow through the second phase of the challenge as all three members were able to get their respective bag full of puzzle pieces. They then head over to the puzzle station where Bruce and Ashley are eagerly awaiting their arrival. Once the runners hand over the bags, Ashley and Bruce open up said bags and dump the contents of the bags onto their table. The two of them then begin to put the puzzle together.

The Green team is still doing badly at shooting baskets and you can tell Abe is very frustrated over his inability to sink a ball into the basket. Stephanie is soon able to sink her second basket and the team’s fourth overall.

That hardly matters, as Bruce and Ashley are flying through the puzzle and moments after Carl scores the fifth basket for the Purple Team, Ashley and Bruce are able to complete their team’s puzzle. After Mack George inspects their puzzle, to make sure it was done correctly, he awards the Green Team the victory.]

Mack George: The Green Team wins!

[The Green Team is shown celebrating their victory in slow motion. We then see both teams standing on their respective mats. The members of the Purple Team stand there looking completely dejected, while the members of the Green Team all have smiles on their faces. Mack George, never one to avoid the chance to take a jab at a losing team addresses the Purple Team.]



Mack George: Well that was a blowout. Purple Team you are going to have to do much better than that if you expect to win any team challenges…



Angelo: Don’t worry about it Mack, they ain't gonna win any challenges this season!

[Lester and Angelo laugh at Angelo’s bold statement while the rest of the Green Team does not look at all happy over Angelo’s bold proclamation. The members of the Purple Team seem really pissed off over Angelo’s statement.]



Mack George: Well…ah…okay then. Green Team congratulations on a huge victory, when you get back to your wing of the Compound your refrigerator will be stocked with food.

Purple Team I have nothing for you…

[After the challenge is over with we see Carl sitting in the confessional.]



Carl (In the confessional): Well we sucked in that challenge. We were just god awful; we were like four poor nerds at the Playboy Mansion. None of us could score!

I did not like that little jab that Angelo took at us after the challenge was done. To me that was an unnecessary thing to do but I guess that is what we can expect from that lot.



Angelo (In the Confessional): Man I pissed everyone off over that comment I made after the challenge was done. In fact, the only person that was laughing was Lester. I’m glad someone has a good sense of humor in this game.

After all, what I said wasn’t no big thing. It was a good natured jab at those losers on the Purple Team.

Episode One-Day TWO- You might as well call me Susan Lucci, because these people are all my children.

[Upon returning from commercial break, and boy was that one long commercial break, we see the members of the Purple Team returning to their wing of the Compound. Nobody looks particularly happy after the huge loss they were just on the receiving end of.

Peter stands at the kitchen table and looks at the members of his team who are all just sulking in the kitchen area.]



Peter (In the Confessional): When we returned from the luxury challenge I knew as the de facto leader of the team, that I would have to be the one to give these people a pep talk. Truth be told, I was furious at them for sucking so badly but a guy’s got to do what a guy’s got to do and it was as clear as day that these people were looking for guidance from me…their savior in this game.

[Peter hits his hands on the table in order to get his teammates attention. When all of his teammates are looking at him, he begins to speak.]



Peter: Okay y’all we sucked out there today. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. But that was just one challenge and one loss. This season is not going to go down like that. We are not going to be the team that has our asses handed to us on a regular basis. We need to buck up and be fierce!

[The members do not seem to react to what Peter just said; instead they all walk off and form into smaller groups to talk. Peter, who is still standing at the table, has a satisfied look on his face because he believes he has just given a very good inspirational speech.]



Peter (In the Confessional): After my epic speech, I felt very satisfied. I knew that my speech would motivate my team going forward in this game. I just have a certain intangible charisma that people are drawn to. I am not sure what it is but ever since I was a little kid, whenever I spoke people listened. And they would often draw inspiration from my words.

That ability to inspire is truly a gift. A gift which I am very proud of and I love sharing it with others so they can be inspired towards greatness no matter how inferior they are.

[We now see Robert in the confessional with a huge grin on his face.]



Robert (In the Confessional): What did I think of Pete’s speech? Well…I am not sure if it came across exactly how he wanted it to. I mean to be honest there was not one person in that room that wanted to listen to that wind bag give a speech about how bad we performed at the challenge. Yet he went ahead and made the speech anyway.

I guess it was good for a laugh, I mean by the way he was carrying himself at the speech you could tell that he thought he just delivered a speech on the level of the Gettysburg Address. He held his head high and was going around to various people fishing for compliments about his speech.

I will say this; Pete is a very cocky guy…which is not really a bad thing to be in this game because if you are sure of yourself you may make it far. However, if you are overly confident in yourself…well that could end up leading to your downfall because people will grow tired of you very quickly.



Brenda (In the Confessional): Man…Peter’s little speech was something else. The guy seems to think he is in charge of our team. For all I know he could be, but nobody was giving him any love for his little speech that he gave. It was clearly upsetting him, so I went over to him and gave him a hug.

I did not want bad Ch'i messing up my game, so that hug was to balance out all of the negative energy in the room and bring some positive energy back into our beings. I am sure Peter felt it because he thanked me for the hug.



Peter (In the Confessional): Oh gosh when Brenda hugged me I just wished someone would have gagged me with a spoon. That woman talked to me about how she appreciated me trying to bring back the positive energy back to our team and how she and I would have to act as agents to stamp out the negative energy on our team that was brought about by us losing the luxury challenge.

While she was talking to me all I could think about saying to her was girl you are crazy. I thought Jim Force from last year was nuts, but I am going to have to rethink that. Brenda could very easily be his engineer on the crazy train. Believe that.

[The Green Team is returning from the Luxury Challenge and all of them seem ecstatic over their blowout victory.

We now cut to Bruce who is sitting in the confessional.]



Bruce (In the Confessional): Our team was so happy over our big time Luxury Challenge win. I was extremely pleased at our performance, we were the dominated team today and we were rewarded for it.

I was not pleased over the comments that Angelo made towards the other team. I felt like he showed himself to be a poor sportsman and that is not something that I think our team should project. Therefore, I felt it was my duty as one of the elders of the team to pull Angelo aside and talk to him about the situation.

I did not want to do it in front of the rest of the team because I did not want to disrespect him. So I waited until he and I were away from the crowd to talk to him.

[We are now taken back to the Green Team’s celebration of their victory. Bruce walks over to Angelo and smiles at him.]



Bruce: Andrew may I have a word with you?

[Angelo frowns over the fact that Bruce screwed up his name.]



Angelo: It isn’t Andrew pops, its Angelo…and yeah we can talk. What do you wanna talk about pops?

[Bruce shoots a quick glance at his fellow teammates who are all standing pretty close to him and Angelo. Bruce points at the door which leads to the backyard area.]



Bruce: May we talk out there, I have something to say and I really do not want anybody ease dropping on our conversation.



Angelo: Sure thing pops…

[The two men head outside and when they are a considerable length from the screen door that leads into the Compound Bruce starts to talk.]



Bruce: Okay first off I would like to say that I was very impressed with your athletic prowess out there during the challenge earlier. It was really an impressive feat.

[Angelo who seems totally disinterested in this conversation nods his head.]



Angelo: Thanks pop, you and Ash kicked all sorts of ass on that puzzle today. So the two of you should get your props as well for doing good by the team.



Bruce: It was no big deal; there was not any real pressure by the time we got to our part of the challenge. So of course it was going to be easy for us because we could afford to take our time.

Any way that is neither here nor there, what I would like to talk to you about is what happened after the challenge. More specifically the comments you made towards the other team.

[Angelo rolls his eyes and smirks at Bruce.]



Angelo: Yeah what about em?



Bruce: Well I felt that they were a tad bit over the top and very unnecessary. We just humiliated the other team and then you went and rubbed more salt in their wounds.



Angelo: Look pops; it ain’t no big thing what I did. It’s called trash talking…I wanted the other team to know that this is what they can expect from us on a regular basis because we are the better team.



Bruce: All I am saying is I felt there was no reason to make those comments. I understand why you did them, it was a heat of the moment type of thing and you adrenaline was probably rushing. However, when you insult other like that after you have beaten them so badly…well…you might have given them the motivation they need to beat us in the next challenge. That is not something that we want to do because the last thing we need to do is lose an elimination challenge to them.

[Angelo paces back and forth for a moment staring at the ground. He looks at Bruce and smiles at him.]



Angelo: You know something pops? You are right, I never really thought of it that way. I hope I did not give them enough motivation to beat us in the next challenge. Wow…that would suck if I did.

Thanks pops for taking the time to drop some knowledge on me. If you hadn’t done so, what you just said would have never crossed my mind. Good talk pops.

[Angelo heads back inside as Bruce looks up to the sky and says out loud and to no one in particular.]



Bruce: Ah to be young and dumb again…

[We now see a grinning Angelo sitting in the confessional.]



Angelo: The old man tried to get all Mister Miyagi on me out there. He tried to talk to me as if he was giving me some wisdom or something. I just nodded my head and agreed with him, just to make the old fart shut up.

I have every intention in continuing my smack talking to the other team. I don’t care if it gives them motivation to win any challenges. They can have all the motivation in the world it don’t matter none cuz we will still beat them.

The only thing my conversation with Bruce did was put him on my radar as someone who has to go sooner rather than later. I can’t be having no Mister Miyagi wannbe on my team trying to make me look back.



Bruce (In the Confessional): I think my conversation with Angelo went well. He seems to understand the errors of his way and I think going forward in this game he will not be so overly boastful. Hopefully I made an ally this evening.

OOC: Whatever audience I have left for this might be wondering why I do not update it that often. The answer is I update it when I feel the urge to, I will not say that I am going to update it on such and such date only to miss that date. So yeah I understand that it might be an audience killer but that is the way it is going to be.
