Not sure...I mean, they each have their merits.
I can get over, to an extent, by losing in WS1. And I can have a hell of a lot of contracts at once in WS1. The relationships are obtained more "naturally," I suppose, in WS1, but a hell of a lot easier to get than in WS2 I think. Maybe it's because I haven't made a broken character in 1 (yet?) that it still has some luster. But doing a kneeling kick rush -> Grounded Roundhouse Kick, bloodied (broken by manager) -> Braun Damage (kickout) -> Double-Arm DDT is ridiculously cool. I think I like the spirit system in 1 better. To a degree, maybe. Having to hit 5 finishers to end a match ("having" being perhaps a bit misleading) or more against the tougher opponents seems a little much, but...maybe realistic. I do look forward to #3 in...2015-ish? Maybe? Got some solid work on the first two, two different systems that I think, if blended, could work well. |

My high-flier (cruiserweight?) capped out at 71 aerial.
Well that's dandy. Glad I can't steal that 720 or Sky Twister Press (hint: I'm actually very unhappy). |

The best part of WreSpi 1 for me was getting into backstage fights with women with BSS. Just the message, "Getting into a fight with a woman, and subsequently losing, has made you the punchline of most jokes going around backstage." Slays me every time I think about it.

I just realized that I do what so many wrestlers do irl; I went to Japan to hone my skills. Admittedly, it was to work with everyone I could, but I'm 33 popularity in Japan, 21 in USA. I'm an American wrestler. Huh...go go tours.

So with my uber no-lose guy, I was paired with Lobster Warrior (as the team "LobbyMan") against Squeeky McClean and the Lords of War. Elimination style.
It ended when I got DQed for Apron Powerbombing Warlord Agony through a ringside table. Meaning I had to reset ._. |
