![]() The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View: EC Match: World Title: Big Show © v Kane v Edge v Undertaker v McIntyre v JTG Last month at the WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View Big Show defeated former World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker as well as the Undertaker’s brother Kane in a Triple Threat match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight Big Show will make his first title defence inside the unforgiving Elimination Chamber against Kane, Edge, the Undertaker, Drew McIntyre and JTG. Edge, Kane and the Undertaker have all held the World Heavyweight Championship before but for Drew McIntyre and JTG a win tonight would make them World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time. WWE Championship: The Miz © vs. Mark Henry vs. Ted DiBiase Last June in the main event of an episode of Monday Night RAW the Miz defeated former New Nexus Leader CM Punk in a “Loser Leaves WWE” match to become WWE Champion for the third time and has since then gone on to make eight successful title defences. Tonight Miz will put the WWE Championship on the line for the ninth time as he takes on both Mark Henry as well as Ted DiBiase in a Triple Threat match. This is a rematch from last month’s WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View when Miz defeated both Henry as well as DiBiase in a Triple Threat match to retain his title. Miz also holds two tag team victories over Henry and DiBiase as he teamed with the current WWE United States Champion John Morrison to defeat Henry and DiBiase in a main event of RAW last month in January and also teamed with RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan on another RAW main event in January to defeat Henry and DiBiase again. EC Match: Alex Riley vs. Regal vs. Kozlov vs. McGuillicutty vs. Slater vs. Gabriel Monday Night RAW’s Elimination Chamber match tonight will see six men compete for the chance to challenge the WWE Champion, currently the Miz heading into tonight’s Pay-Per-View, for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. Alex Riley, William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov will join New Nexus members Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and Michael McGuillicutty in the Elimination Chamber with the winner going on to challenge for the prestigious WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. All six of these individuals took part in last month’s 30 Man Royal Rumble match, ultimately won by Sheamus, and tonight will be their second chance to head into Wrestlemania to challenge for a World Championship. US Championship: John Morrison © vs. Mr. MITB Daniel Bryan vs. Zack Ryder Last month at the WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View John Morrison defeated former WWE United States Champion Zack Ryder as well as Monday Night RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to become the new WWE United States Champion for the second time, and tonight will make his first title defence as he again must face both Bryan as well as Ryder in a Triple Threat match. Other than last month, this particular match has also taken place at one other time as Ryder defeated then current Champion Morrison as well as Bryan in a Triple Threat match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in October of last year to win the US title. Morrison was also a member of Daniel Bryan’s team at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View last year as they won a Traditional Survivor Series match against a team led by Zack Ryder. Intercontinental Title: Jack Swagger © vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler vs. Finlay Just a few weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown! Jack Swagger defeated former Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as well as one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, in a Triple Threat match to become the new Intercontinental Champion for the very first time. Tonight Swagger will make his first title defence in another Triple Threat match against both Finlay as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. WWE Tag Team Championships: AirBOOM! © versus Epico and Darren Young Since defeating David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty back at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View last May to become the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston have made eight successful title defences. Tonight Bourne and Kingston will put their titles on the line for the ninth time against the team of Epico and Darren Young. This is a rematch from last month’s WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View when Bourne and Kingston defeated Epico and Young to retain their titles, and Epico and Young will be hoping for more success in their second shot at Championship gold tonight. 2012 Royal Rumble Winner Sheamus versus Rob Conway Last month at the WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View Sheamus defeated twenty-nine other Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown! to win the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and then chose to move to SmackDown! and will therefore challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. Before that, however, Sheamus must first face Rob Conway in singles action tonight. WWE Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix © versus Maryse Last June at the WWE Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View Beth Phoenix defeated former Champion Kelly Kelly as well as Maryse and Natalya to become the new Divas Champion and has since then gone on to make six successful title defences. Tonight Beth will put her title on the line for the seventh time as she takes on the challenge of Maryse. Quick Picks: EC Match: World Title: Big Show © v Kane v Edge v Undertaker v McIntyre v JTG WWE Championship: The Miz © versus Mark Henry versus Ted DiBiase EC Match: Alex Riley vs. Regal vs. Kozlov vs. McGuillicutty vs. Slater vs. Gabriel US Championship: John Morrison © vs. Mr. MITB Daniel Bryan vs. Zack Ryder Intercontinental Title: Jack Swagger © vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler vs. Finlay WWE Tag Team Championships: AirBOOM! © versus Epico and Darren Young 2012 Royal Rumble Winner Sheamus versus Rob Conway WWE Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix © versus Maryse (Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month). |

Match Rating: D- (Mike Rotunda feels that Jerry Lawler needs to be booked in shorter matches, as he was totally exposed by the length of this one.) Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion, the Miz, making his way to the ring. Miz says that last night at the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View he defeated both Mark Henry as well as Ted DiBiase in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain his WWE Championship and he now knows that at Wrestlemania he will put his title on the line against New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty, after McGuillicutty defeated fellow New Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel as well as Alex Riley, Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal in an Elimination Chamber match last night to become the new Number One Contender. Miz also says that he will be in action in tonight’s tag team main event as he teams with the WWE United States Champion John Morrison to take on the team of Epico and Darren Young. Rating: B- WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne versus RAW’s Mr. MITB Daniel Bryan In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Daniel Bryan defeated Evan Bourne in 8:07 by submission with an Omoplata Crossface. Young also says that he and Epico will win tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event against the team of the WWE Champion the Miz and the WWE United States Champion John Morrison. Rating: C- Alicia Fox comes to the ring and announces that she will join Brie Bella in challenging the WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix for the WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania. Rating: C- Triple H versus Ted DiBiase In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Triple H defeated Ted DiBiase in 8:08 by pinfall with a Pedigree. Match Rating: B Alex Riley versus Mark Henry In a bout that had great heat and great wrestling action, Mark Henry defeated Alex Riley in 8:24 by submission with a Bear Hug. Match Rating: C+ (Val Venis would seriously consider either turning Justin Gabriel or trying a new gimmick, as he has become a stale character, and needs a shake-up.) Alicia Fox returns to the ring and says that although she saw Beth Phoenix, the reigning WWE Divas Champion, put on a great performance in defeating Maryse to successfully retain her WWE Divas Championship last night at the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, Alicia is confident that she can become the new Divas Champion at Wrestlemania when she joins Brie Bella in challenging Friday Night SmackDown!’s Beth Phoenix for the Divas title in a Triple Threat match. Alicia says that last night at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View she said that she feels she is deserving of a title opportunity only to have Brie Bella interrupt her and claim that she was more worthy of a title shot, just as she said earlier this evening on Monday Night RAW. Natalya then comes to the ring and distracts Alicia for long enough that Brie Bella can slide into the ring behind her back and hit Alicia with a devastating DDT. Rating: D+ David Hart Smith versus Heath Slater In a match that had some good action and average heat, Heath Slater defeated David Hart Smith in 7:31 by pinfall with a Leaping Chinlock Slam. Rating: D+ Gail Kim continues to complain in the ring about not being granted a shot at Friday Night SmackDown!’s WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix at Wrestlemania until she is joined in the ring by Maryse. ![]() WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from the ON North Bay Memorial Gardens, 3,674 in Attendance) Pre-Show: Edge versus Adam Pearce In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Edge defeated Adam Pearce in 17:50 by pinfall with a Spear. Match Rating: C Friday Night SmackDown! begins with the World Heavyweight Champion the Big Show making his way to the ring. Big Show says that this past Sunday at the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View he successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship in the evening’s Elimination Chamber main event against the Undertaker, the Undertaker’s brother Kane, Edge, Drew McIntyre and JTG and then he defended the title again straight after the Elimination Chamber match as Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase but became the first man to ever fail to win a World title after cashing in the briefcase. Big Show announces that Ziggler has left the WWE in shame. Sheamus then joins Big Show in the ring and tells him that he will now face him in the main event of Wrestlemania for the World Heavyweight Championship after Sheamus won the 2012 Royal Rumble match. Rob Conway then joins Big Show and the man that beat him this past Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, Sheamus, in the ring. Conway says he has an announcement to make straight from the office of the SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Conway says that Big Show will have to defend his World title every week leading up until Wrestlemania on SmackDown!, beginning tonight when he will defend the World title in the evening’s main event against Rob Conway himself. Rating: D Kane comes to the ring and says that he is disappointed that he was unable to win the World Heavyweight Championship this past Sunday at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View as Big Show defeated Kane as well as Kane’s brother the Undertaker, Edge, JTG and Drew McIntyre in the Elimination Chamber main event match to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Kane then announces that at Wrestlemania the Undertaker will put his legendary undefeated streak on the line for the very first time in a Triple Threat match, against both Kane and Edge. The lights then go out in the arena and when they come back on Undertaker has his brother throttled by the neck, and hits Kane with a vicious Chokeslam. Rating: B- Non-Title: IC Champion Jack Swagger vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Jack Swagger defeated Kofi Kingston in 13:11 by pinfall with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Match Rating: B Following the conclusion of the WWE Intercontinental Champion Jack Swagger’s victory in non-title action against Kofi Kingston he ruthlessly kicks Kingston out of the ring. Swagger says that he doesn’t care if Kingston and Evan Bourne are able to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania against the team of Epico and Darren Young. Ezekiel Jackson then joins Swagger in the ring and announces that he will be challenging Swagger for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania. Swagger responds to this news by striking Jackson across the skull with the Intercontinental Championship title belt. Rating: C+ The Undertaker returns to the ring and says that even though he failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship this past Sunday at the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View as Big Show defeated Undertaker as well as his brother Kane, Edge, Drew McIntyre and JTG to retain his World Heavyweight Championship, the World title will eventually find its way back to the Undertaker. Undertaker says that his attack on Kane earlier was a message to both Kane and Edge that they won’t be able to defeat him in their Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania. Edge then joins Undertaker in the ring and promises that at Wrestlemania he will make history by defeating both Kane and the Undertaker and ending the Undertaker’s undefeated streak. Rating: B+ The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and proclaims that at Wrestlemania she will defeat both Maryse as well as Alicia Fox of Monday Night RAW in their Triple Threat match to successfully retain her Divas title, just as she did this past Sunday at the WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View when she defeated Maryse in singles action to retain her title. Layla, Michelle McCool and the Friday Night SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero then rush to the ring and assault Beth. Layla and McCool stomp on the Divas Champion whilst Vickie picks up the microphone and says that this is the treatment her and Lay-Cool will give Beth, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes in their Six-Diva tag team match, which is next. Rating: D WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn & Rosa vs. Team Lay-Cool & Vickie In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes defeated Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero in 7:22 when Beth Phoenix defeated Michelle McCool by pinfall with a Glam Slam. Match Rating: D+ (Steve Lombardi feels that Vickie Guerrero needs to be booked in shorter matches, as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.) Finlay versus JTG In an extremely short match, Finlay defeated JTG in 3:16 by pinfall with a Celtic Cross. Match Rating: C Slam Master J versus Cody Deaner In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Slam Master J defeated Cody Deaner in 8:25 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop. Match Rating: D God versus Drew McIntyre In a match that had some good action and average heat, Drew McIntyre defeated God in 7:31 by pinfall with a Snap Double Underhook DDT. Match Rating: B- Trent Barreta comes to the ring and says that he is tired of being underappreciated by the Friday Night SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero, and that he could be a top talent if given matches to prove himself. Rating: E World Heavyweight Championship: Big Show © versus Rob Conway In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big Show defeated Rob Conway in 12:45 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. Big Show makes defence number 3 of his WWE World Heavyweight title. Match Rating: B- Post-Show: Ezekiel Jackson versus Curt Hawkins In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ezekiel Jackson defeated Curt Hawkins in 17:59 by pinfall with an Uranage. Match Rating: D- Final Show Rating: D+ Final Prediction League Table: Kijar: 5/8 screwus: 3/5 Congratulations to this month's winner Kijar! Match Rating: B- Monday Night RAW begins with RAW’s Money in the Bank winner, Daniel Bryan, making his way to the ring. Bryan claims that he is the best wrestler in the world and that at Wrestlemania he will defeat the WWE United States Champion John Morrison to become the new United States Champion once again. Bryan says that he may even also cash his Money in the Bank briefcase in at Wrestlemania following the conclusion of the WWE Championship match when the Miz puts his WWE Championship on the line against New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty. Bryan says that it would therefore not be unlikely that he will leave Wrestlemania as both the US Champion and the WWE Champion. Rating: B- The WWE Champion the Miz comes to the ring and proclaims that at Wrestlemania he will defeat New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty to successfully retain his WWE Championship. Miz also says that he will defeat Epico in tonight’s non-title Monday Night RAW main event, and that he also hopes one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne, defeats Darren Young in their match tonight. Miz says that he hopes Bourne and Kofi Kingston are able to defeat Epico and Young at Wrestlemania to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. Miz finally says that even if Daniel Bryan cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Wrestlemania, Miz will defeat him and retain his WWE Championship. Rating: B- The WWE United States Champion John Morrison comes to the ring to join the WWE Champion, the Miz. The two former tag team partners shake hands as Miz hands Morrison the microphone. Morrison says that he believes Miz will defeat New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty at Wrestlemania to retain his WWE Championship just as Morrison will defeat Monday Night RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan to retain his United States Championship. Morrison also says that Miz will defeat Epico in tonight’s non-title main event just as Miz and Morrison defeated the team of Epico and Darren Young in last week’s tag team main event. Morrison also says that he thinks one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne, will defeat Darren Young in their match tonight and that Bourne and Kofi Kingston will defeat Epico and Young at Wrestlemania to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. Rating: B- Alicia Fox comes to the ring and claims that at Wrestlemania she will defeat the WWE Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix of Friday Night SmackDown!, as well as Maryse in their Triple Threat match to become the new Divas Champion, bringing the title back to Monday Night RAW. Maryse then joins Alicia in the ring and claims that she will be the one leaving Wrestlemania as the new WWE Divas Champion. Maryse also says that she will be watching Alicia’s match against Brie Bella tonight very closely. Rating: C- Triple H versus Justin Gabriel In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Triple H defeated Justin Gabriel in 11:05 by pinfall with a Pedigree. Match Rating: B WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne versus Darren Young In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Darren Young defeated Evan Bourne in 8:29 by pinfall with a Full Nelson Twisting Facebuster. Match Rating: C+ Following the conclusion of Darren Young’s victory over one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne, Young’s partner Epico comes to the ring to celebrate with him. Epico takes a microphone from the ringside area and claims that at Wrestlemania he and Darren Young will defeat Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Epico also claims that he will defeat the WWE Champion, the Miz, in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event. Evan Bourne then rolls out of the ring and takes a microphone of his own, and tells Epico and Young that he and Kingston will retain their WWE Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania. Rating: F- Alicia Fox returns to the ring for her scheduled match against Brie Bella but firstly takes a microphone and reiterates that at Wrestlemania she will defeat the WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix as well as Maryse in their Triple Threat match to become the new WWE Divas Champion. Natalya then comes to the ring and distracts Alicia for long enough that Maryse can slide into the ring and hit her with a vicious DDT. Alicia seems hurt and in no condition to compete right now, but she will still have to face Brie later tonight. Rating: C- Alex Riley versus Mark Henry In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mark Henry defeated Alex Riley in 8:20 by pinfall with a Big Splash.
