I've been kind of busy the past week or so, but I've gotten a few more characters made. They'll probably be free agents to start. I'm probably going to try to come up with a few more whenever I can.
Francis Gobert (M/22) Francis Gobert was born in Halifax and moved to the Boston area as a young teenager. Francis' father was a stage magician, and for the entiretly of his childhood, he watched his father's acts in awe. When his father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he taught all of his secrets to Francis, who decided that he too was going to enter the family business. He wanted to add a more modern twist, and he had always been athletically inclined, so he decided to combine magic with an acrobatic show that has been wowing crowds he has performed for, and he has been starting to gain noteriety in the underground magic scene. Francis and his wife were asked to make an appearance at a small local show, which, after they impressed the owner before the show, turned into them wrestling a match. Since then, they have been looking for an opportunity to continue working in the wrestling industry. They're green, but they both have outstanding athletic ability. Sandra Gobert (F/20) Sandra (Veltman) Gobert was an extremely skilled gymnast from an early age. She had won medals in several national competitions, and was poised for a spot on the US Women's Olympic Gymnast team. Unfortunately, the pressure started to get to her, and she suffered a nervous breakdown which caused her to miss the trials and not end up making the team. She met her husband, Francis while watching one of his magic shows and immediately became enthralled with his style of performance. Shortly after meeting him, they began performing together, and it is said that their styles complinent eachother very well. Sandra and her husband were asked to make an appearance at a small local show, which, after they impressed the owner before the show, turned into them wrestling a match. Since then, they have been looking for an opportunity to continue working in the wrestling industry. They're green, but they both have outstanding athletic ability. Alana Castiela (F/23) Alana Castiela was born in Berlin, Germany. Over the course of her youth, she was moved throughout Europe as for her father's business. As a young teen, her father was transferred to New York. Wherever they travelled, Alana and her father always used to try and catch whatever local wrestling they could find, and Alana always treasured these memories. She started talking to whatever workers she could, and has been trying to pick up whatever she can from all of them. She's mostly self trained, however, and hasn't really had any sort of formal training. She's very charismatic, and she has just entered the wrestling industry. The gimmick she has been using is slightly controversial. She claims to be an Archangel who was sent from heaven to smite the heathens who work in the wrestling industry. She has begun to develop a following, but hasn't kept a steady job in the industry as of yet. She has somewhat of a natural knack for psychology. Last edited by Crychon : 08-31-2012 at 05:57 PM. Lots more posted in the photoshop link. About 70 renders now. Some random examples:

If there are any logo or event pictures needed, let me know. I need ideas for random promotions and event names.

Smokey Waterfall, a big-woman wrestler working a hippie gimmick. When she's on, she's a great female hoss; but when she starts "living the gimmick" a little too much (which she's known to do, as evidenced by her 'droopy' eyes and nonstop addiction to bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch), her ring work can suffer for it. She finishes off her opponents with the "Peace Pipe", a spinning backfist to the face; and the "Magic Carpet Ride", a top-rope body splash. Give her about a 35% usage tick in Soft Drugs, and it could work, I think. EDIT: Oh, by the way, a few logos for promotions and ideas I had: ![]() Wrestle To The Top (W3T): My idea for something to build the promotion around is along the lines of the Twisted Metal tournament, where there are tournaments where the winner gets a wish of absolute power; they could grant themselves a title match, they could request the firing of a rival, etc. ![]() Champions of New York (CONY): Just your generic little Tri-State indy. And then three existing promotions: ASA, AWE, and SWA. | | ![]() I just wish I had been able to fit in the entirety of the SWA logo... but hey, at least it looks kinda bloody/wiry the way it turned out. Interested to see what comes of this Remi, both from the crowd sourcing aspect of licenses, and also from the aspect of a TEW2013 mod that's going to focus on the ladies as you do
One question, even though we're several pages in to this thread already... are you going to be sticking with the c-verse blue background? Even though it's C-verse related it seems as though this would warrant it's own background with its own personality and individuality |

Here's the deal though. The mod's scope has widened. Yeah, women will still feature heavily but at its heart, I'd like to incorporate into the backstory how the boom in women's wrestling also affected the men's side (rising tide raises all boats). And heaven help me if the new game allows for 'men's divisions' in women's promotions. OH. MY. GOD. Oh yeah, and dibs on the third and fifth girl in Blackman's post. For the third girl, meet Slackeye: Sabrina Peterson always dreamed of being a star. Despite her lazy left eye making her a beacon of ridicule, her dreams never faltered. Growing up in Peoria, Illinois, as a teenager she skipped her junior prom (she received no invites) to watch a QAW special on pay per view. Her life changed one day when, at an independent show in Berwyn, she met Joe Loeb (aka Lazy Joe) who saw the fire in the young girl's eyes and agreed to train her. My premise for her is her star quality is slightly higher than her sex appeal and while a rookie (personality wise), she's extremely driven. Blackman, could you do an alt of her? Like with a condom as an eyepatch on her left eye? I actually considered naming her Left Eye but decided against it. But the eye patch like this. I'm thinking it would work if she shows up in BSC (or its European equivalent). Last edited by Remianen : 08-21-2012 at 12:52 PM. |

Remi, if you would like any of my 5-Star alt logos/banners/events, you're free to use them as you see fit:

Well, I sure hope the blue background will stick around. It should though, as ALL renders are currently made on it, and unless Adam has someone in for the boring job of erasing it on all renders (I suggest turning the radio on while you're at it), I don't see it happening. Plus, I deleted all png's of the head renders, so I'm going to have to convert all 135 renders again, and I'd rather not.
As for the alternate. I'll check if there are 'condom' models for Daz, but I don't think that'll turn out positive. A regular eyepatch I can probably find somewhere, though. Can someone else jump in and make it with paint for his contribution? If no one rises to the occasion I'll do it myself eventually. Here is everything so far. It's probably everything I'll do, but I reckon 135 renders is enough to feed one mod? This way you can actually select. Some of these (previous versions) have been used by a community mod for the WMMA C-verse, but not officially. MMA was however their original purpose so they are all without makeup, and some are, perhaps, too 'ugly' for the modern Diva pro wrestling world (even though that is - thank god - changing). The renders have numbers so the creative folk can pick them and let the rest know it's been taken (01 starting upper left, 135 down right). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Blackman : 08-29-2012 at 03:39 PM. |

Blackman, could you isolate number 87 for me please? If I've counted right, I have something for her.

Calling dibs on Blackman's #110.
Thinking a "girl next door" type quality about her...which is why it's surprising that she is primarily a hardcore wrestler and is as vicious as they get. "Beware the darkness that lies beneath the beauty" and such. I'll work up a full profile during the day tomorrow. |
