WWF Wrestling Challenge TV Taping

Video with dramatic music and narrated by Vince McMahon. It shows the recent build up between Harley Race, Hulk Hogan, and Nick Bockwinkel. The attacks by Race and Bockwinkel are featured. This is the one story that has taken the WWF by storm. And the match will be seen on NBC Saturday Night's Main Event.

We come out of the video and are welcomed this week by Gorilla Monsoon, Gene Okerlund and Vince McMahon. They talk about the up coming Saturday Night's Main Event and the matches that are signed. Not only Race vs Hogan for the WWF Title, but Ricky Steamboat is poised to defend the title against "Mr Wonderfull" Paul Orndorff. Plus this one has been confirmed, Randy "The Macho Man" Savage vs George Steele in a lumberjack match.



King Kong Bundy VS Koko B Ware

Size and strength vs speed and heart.

Koko does his best to keep the distance between him and Bundy.

Bundy is taking shots in and effort to close the distance on Koko.

Finally he traps Koko in the corner and begins to land some big over hand blows.

Bundy with a Big Splash and a pin for the win. He asks for a five count instead of the normal 3.



"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan VS The Assassin

Duggan is leading the chant of USA.

The Assassin starts to punch Duggan and backs him into a corner.

The Assassin with a whip but gets reversed by Duggan with a mighty "WOOOO!"

The Assassin bounces out of the corner and into a clothesline.

Duggan waits for his man to get up and levels him with a Running Clothesline Tackle for the pin.


After the match Duggan is set to leave the ring after some USA chants. Vince steps into the ring and asks for a moment. Vince asks Duggan about his thoughts of being attacked by The Iron Sheik and Nikolia Volkoff? Duggan promises to get his revenge on the the two dastardly foreigners, tough guy!



Dino Bravo and Greg Valentine with Frenchy Martin Vs The Young Stallions.

Dino Bravo does the majority of the work for his team in this match.

The Young Stallions try to double team Dino with some success early in the match.

Frenchy Martin who we last seen was talking to Bam Bam Bigelow is alittle nervous.

The camera pans to Frenchy but there seems to be a familiar face in the crowd trying to keep his identity hidden.

Dino overcomes the double team efforts and finally is able to get Paul Roma separated.

After a press slam on Roma, Dino tags to Valentine who immediately goes to work on Roma's leg.

Figure four leglock applied and Roma quits.


The match is over and Greg calls for the microphone. Frenchy Martin snags the microphone away from Howard Finkel. Greg calls the losses he has had against Brutus Beefcake fluke wins for him. He could beat Brutus easily. He has dominated over Brutus only to have victory taken from him by shoddy officiating. Dino Bravo is the best partner he has ever had. He can do something that Brutus cant do, and thats win.

With that being said the familiar face in the crowd begins to stir and reveals himself to be Brutus Beefcake. He climbs over the rails and slides into the ring as Greg is still proclaiming himself to be so much better than Beefcake. Brutus grabs Frenchy as he turns to see what all of the fuss is about and tosses him out of the ring. Dino turns around and he is met with a kick to the gut and out he gets tossed. Greg and Brutus exchange shots but Beefcake is winning the exchange. He goes to lock on a sleeper but Greg slips out and out of the ring.

The three men make a hasty retreat as Brutus is inviting them back to the ring. Greg turns around and takes a few steps towards the ring before tossing his arms as if to say no way. With that the three men make to backstage as Brutus is left in the ring celebrating.



Honky Tonk Man with Jimmy Hart VS Pedro Morales

HTM does his usual gig about buying his record and hearing him sing. Then decides that the crowd ain't worth it because Pittsburgh ain't showing him enough love.

Pedro goes to lock up but HTM back up and ducks under the ropes.

The two do eventually lock up and Pedro has the advantage with an arm wringer followed by a arm bar.

HTM grabs the ropes but Pedro pull him off of the ropes. Again HTM grabs the ropes and again Pedro pulls HTM off of them.

A few moments pass as Pedro is using his technical skills to wear down HTM.

HTM works Pedro into the corner and uses a knee to the gut to gain the advantage.

Now its HTM working over Pedro. A few slaps by HTM begins to get under the skin of the former Intercontinental Champion.

Pedro fires up and begins to pummel HTM with punches.

But a rake of the eyes by HTM stops him. HTM with a high knee to the head of Pedro stuns him long enough to hit a Shake, Rattle, and Roll on him to pick up the win.



Hercules with Bobby Heenan VS Tito Santana

As the Hercules and Bobby Heenan come down the ring Gorilla Monsoon says that Bobby Heenan and Hercules taped an interview earlier about Billy Jack Haynes. A video box open below and we see the two standing there. Heenan says he hates to say he told you humanoids so, but he told you so. Hercules is rapidly becoming the a true power here in the WWF and as Billy Jack found out recently, Tito Santana will find out next.

After the formal ring introductions are made the two tie up. Hercules tosses Tito Santana into the corner with ease and flexes his muscles.

The two tie up again and again Hercules with ease tosses Tito into the ropes causing Tito to lose his balance for a bit almost falling down. Hercules again flexes drawing th ire of the fans.

The men go to tie up again and its Tito with a couple of quick forearm strikes to the head that staggers Hercules.

Dropkick by Tito and down goes Hercules.

Hercules begs off Tito who goes after him.

Hercules grabs Tito's trunks and pulls him into the corner face first.

Powerbomb by Hercules and he waits behind Tito to get to his feet.

Full Nelson locked in by Hercules as Tito tries to fight out.

Moments pass as it is evident that the hold has taken its toll on Tito.

The ref checks on Tito.

Thats it he calls for the bell.


Hercules drops Tito like yesterday's garbage. He flexes for the cameras as Bobby is pointing at him. And thats all the time we have tonight folks. Thanks for watching.
