I know everyone feels that the drowning of Clyde is destiny but, I don’t think it should go that easy, or in the first shot. I look for McManus to retain the title either by blatantly cheating or getting DQ or CO to save the title. That would also get Riley to 10 defenses and a year with the belt which I believe would be the longest reigning champion. It would then set up another battle very soon where it is either a cage match or maybe you put his bodyguard in a managers cage and raise it above the ring.

Semi Main Event
Tag Team Match
Forty-Five Minute Time Limit
COTT World Tag Team Championship
The Mission versus The Ring Generals © w/ Lisa Bowen
I look for the title to change here. While Lisa makes the Generals passable, they really are boring (I have never liked them in any dynasty so far).

RMW Can-Am Championship
Deaf Touch versus Blue Tiger ©
Regardless of my bias against Tiger and in favour of DT, I think Touch has both the skills and popularity to carry the title for a while

Rocky Weatherfield versus “Flawless” Franklin Rush
Rush is one of the top dojo products still around and shouldn't lose here

“The Troubadour” Floyd Reeves versus Sgt. Bison

Fun is forbidden in Shadaloo

Eddie Carter versus R.W. Vega
Vega wins

“The Hawaiian Heartthrob” Luis Cummo versus Steven Stewart
Betting against Luis going solo

Golden Dragon versus “The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma
Headhunter becomes the Dragonslayer

“The Return of the Monster” James Diaz versus Ryuzaburo Nakanishi
He's a Diaz amd he's returning. Nakanishi is probably here on excursion to do some jobs and learn the trade

Is Hammer Hadley any good in 2020?! I have him under a developmental deal and he looks like he could be decent...

First, thank you for the compliment! Second, he turns out to be pretty good. He's still got a ways to go, but I'd compare him to Logan or James Diaz. Raw, with a lot of potential to develop if he's used.

He hoisted Riley into the air and rested him on his shoulder. He took three big steps forward and slammed the champion down into the mat. The Patriot Powerslam almost shook the ring and the crowd went silent with anticipation. Alvin Lavin was there for the one...two...three...

It was the best moment of Clyde's life. It was his crowning moment. This was his moment, after all. Wrestling Summit V. The biggest show of the Rocky Mountain calendar -- and this was for him. This was saying that he was the man. Riley had done a fantastic job for the last year as the champion. He had built the prestige of the belt even higher. He had found new levels of work, but in this moment, with Alvin Lavin raising his arm and his other hand on the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Championship, Clyde knew that he was destined for great things. He had made the climb. He had started at the bottom.

He worked his first professional match in April of 2017 in a loss to Phillipe LeGrenier. Phillipe was gone. Then he lost to Scythe and worked a couple of multi-man matches. He had six pro matches his first year. Split them down the middle. 2018? Twelve matches and he won ten of them, but he was on on Rocky Mountain Live. He was being groomed, he knew that. Won the first ever Top Graduate tournament and then won the Can-Am Championship. 2019 he worked eleven times. Seven and four, but had worked a good program with Primus Allen and Bowen Services -- won Gold Rush and knew what he was destined for. This moment.

He knew the wrestling world was watching. It wouldn't be long know. Packer..Eisen...Stone...DeColt...Nova...Germaine.. . One of them was going to come calling. He had proven himself to be a reliable in ring worker. He had proven himself to be a good promo. He had proven himself to be a bankable star. He was six-feet-ten. He was over three hundred pounds and he was in shape. Riley doing the favor for him tonight was what he needed.

Puder was loyal, but not to a fault. He didn't want to wrestle in front of three thousand people; he wanted to wrestle in front of thirty thousand people. He wanted to be a household name. He wanted lunchboxes, action figures, backpacks, everything. He wanted to be Sam Strong. For three years, he had proven himself by rising the ranks. This Championship win was going to be his meal ticket. He just knew it.

  • Ekuma has signed an exclusive contract with USPW. His last appearance for Rocky Mountain Wrestling was at Wrestling Summit V. We wish the Hawaiian Strongman all the best in his future endeavors.
  • Bear Bekowski has also signed an exclusive contract with USPW. While he was not with us long, we wish him the best in his future.

Rocky Mountain Wrestling returns to action with the twenty-seventh edition of Rocky Mountain Wrestling Live! on the second Saturday of April. D.C. Rayne will be making his first wrestling appearance since leaving USPW when he challenges Blue Tiger for the Can-Am Championship, Franklin Rush is in action, and we will see the in-ring debut of Streetz' new duo -- a duo who he promises has a mission. You do not want to miss this action!

The members of the red army have initially been left off this particular post. And wrestling summit was not our best show — it was our second best behind last years Oxford Invitarional that had the sensational Keith Brothers/Ring Generals main event.
