Seeing RMW lose Clyde right now, when he just became a made man at the company was heartbreaking stuff. This business is not made for the weak, I see... DAMN YOU, USPW!! *shakes fist to the air*
But, hey, "improvise, adapt, overcome" as Bear Grills once said. Maybe someone can breakout as the new top face of the company... maybe the Anvil...

Main Event
Farewell Match
Singles Match
Sixty Minute Time Limit
“The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder versus “Flawless” Franklin Rush

Semi Main Event
Tag Team Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
The Cummos versus The Can-Am Blondes

Special Attraction
Singles Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
Silver Spider versus “The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma
Another unmasking here maybe?

Opening Match
Ten Man Tag
Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit
Herman Aldana, Jules Night, Roland Eilers, Bradley D, and Dale Kingman versus Hammer Hadley, Ryuzaburo Nakanishi, Steven Stewart, Taylor Holemore, and Wesley Browning
This could go anyway but I'm betting on the heel team because WESLEY BROWNING IS OUR NEW GOD!

  • Julius Moor, who has been unemployed since being not having his contract renewed by USPW in June of 2019 has signed a pay per appearance deal with RMW.
  • “Bad, Bad” Lenny Brown has signed an exclusive contract with SWF and will be returning there shortly. While he had already finished up his dates with Rocky Mountain Wrestling and had been competing for Championship Wrestling from Tennessee, we wish him all of the best in his future endeavors.

Rocky Mountain Wrestling returns to action on the fourth Saturday of May for the fourth annual Fire on the Mountain at the Oxford Arena. This is a huge show with a blockbuster double main event. Nate DeMarcus, the current COTT World Heavyweight Champion will be defending the championship against "The Cornerstone" Riley McManus. Atlas will be making his first defense of the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Championship as he steps into the ring with former champion Logan Diaz. Will he be successful? Or will he suffer the same fate as Clyde Puder and lose the Championship in his first defense?

All of this action plus so much more! Get your tickets today.

Well that what I get for not updating the thread before posting, you already moved on. I figured it would take you some time to recover after that

Sixty Minute Time Limit
“The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder versus “Flawless” Franklin Rush
A huge and well deserved win for Franklin Rush.

Semi Main Event
Tag Team Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
The Cummos versus The Can-Am Blondes
Have you signed the Blondes full time or is this a short contract?

Special Attraction
Singles Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
Silver Spider versus “The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma
RIP Animal Kingdom

Opening Match
Ten Man Tag
Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit
Herman Aldana, Jules Night, Roland Eilers, Bradley D, and Dale Kingman versus Hammer Hadley, Ryuzaburo Nakanishi, Steven Stewart, Taylor Holemore, and Wesley Browning
Wow jobber fest 2020, are there any diamonds in this rough? Wesley has been around the longest I think so I’ll give him the win

Now hopefully on the right show as the lightening fast Historian continues his blazing fast speed

COTT World Heavyweight Championship
The Cornerstone” Riley McManus w/ Jeffery Aroma versus Nate DeMarcus ©
Well with the Hillbilly bailing we will see if plans have changed, my guess is no

Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Championship
“Glorious” Logan Diaz versus Atlas © w/ Lisa Bowen
Well Atlas will be transitional, but with Logan having been gone so much is he the guy to take it? My guess is no because Robert Oxford doesn’t like to play hot potato with the title and decides to wait another month and see what happens.

The Mission, Hawaiian Boys 2.0, and Mark Griffin versus The Ring Generals, The 937lb Express, and Franklin Rush w/ Lisa Bowen & Kristen Pearce

American Machine versus The Sickle w/ Streetz
Need to build this up a bit more to really ignite the Cold War

The Monster” Raymond Diaz versus Keith Holly w/ February Malaise

Top Rope” Robby Griffin versus Brett Dewes w/ February Malaise

These last 3 matches I figure you are going to try and heat up a challenger?

Question for Robert now as he was frustrated after the show, but does he regret putting the title on Clyde after it felt like he rushed it on him at the Summit. I had guessed that you were thinking he might be leaving but 30 days...Wish we could bring back Jeb

First, you always gotta refresh! I move fast baybay! You may or may not be right!

While Robert will address his feelings on putting the title on Clyde at Summit, I do regret it as the man behind the mask. I really had plans to put Clyde over with a reign that was going to be close to Riley's (and ultimately lead to a rematch at Wrestling Summit VI), because I figured I had about a year left before he got poached. Unfortunately, I called my timing wrong, so instead I ended Riley's reign and then was left going 'uh.. what do I do now?'' I hope I've course corrected enough to at least be somewhat on track.

I was confident in the switch, because I was ready to pull the belt off Riley to spin him doing something different, but that was because I wanted to run with Clyde for awhile -- Clyde versus Atlas was supposed to be a multi-month program, but alas, plans had to change.

  • Mark Griffin has signed an exclusive contract with North of the Border Wrestling and will be leaving Rocky Mountain Wrestling. Mark is a former Rocky Mountain Tag Team Champion and we wish him all of the best in his future endeavors.
  • Robby Griffin and Rocky Mountain Wrestling have agreed to terms on his release. Robby wanted to return to Canada and pursue wrestling in his local scene. We did not want to stand in his way.
  • Logan Diaz has signed on to compete on another tour for PGHW. He will continue to compete for Rocky Mountain Wrestling.

Quote:
Author's Note: Before I post the next card, I will be making a big roster post so that we can have an updated roster! I wanted to get the news out of the way to explain why Mark and Robby will not be on the list. I'm very sad to lose Mark. He was going to win the 2020 Gold Rush -- another plan that has to change.
