Rocky Mountain Wrestling returns to action the second Saturday of June with the twenty-ninth installment of the RMW Live series. This features a very special main event of Ernest Youngman and Primus Allen going one on one in a first-time-ever match up. Neither man has ever wrestled on an RMW Live before nor have they ever wrestled each other! You do not want to miss this fantastic opportunity.

Also in action, The Headhunter challenges for the Can-Am Championship AND the mask of champion Blue Tiger. Will he claim his head like has has the other three members of the now dismantled Animal Kingdom? There is only one way to find out. Be there live or catch us on demand!

Really a tough matchup to call. Even though I’m calling Primus here, I’ll throw my Gold Rush support behind Youngman

I don’t think he gets this mask. Blue Tiger has been a booker’s Favorite for some time

“The Assassin of the Squared Circle” Ernest Youngman versus “The Evolution” Primus Allen w/ Lisa Bowen
Youngman probably needs the win more, but sacrificing Primus of all people for it and at this time feels wrong, unless he too has signed to work elsewhere

RMW Can-Am Championship
“The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma versus Blue Tiger ©
Loving Aroma's crusade and him becoming his own man. Having his title while McManus has the big gold? Instant megaheels

Long Morris & Dale Kingman versus The Can-Am Blondes
Because LongDale is a lame team name

“The Troubadour” Floyd Reeves versus Taylor Holemore
Floyd's taken too many losses, he can beat this new guy

The Cummos versus Shadaloo
Hate voting against Shadaloo but Cummos are probably more over and better in the ring

While I am not sure Jeffery needs the win it would be interesting if he unmasked Blue Tiger as well. I could see Blue Tiger winning with the help of the Animal Kingdom (former)

“Tonight, I have the biggest challenge of my career. My first time here on RMW Live. I have The Evolution of the Perfect Athlete himself. The man who I’m not quite sure is all man and not part machine. Primus Allen… Big man, I beat you once before, but you and Lisa called it a fluke. Tonight, when I beat you, it will not be a fluke!”

I sat alone at the bar and slowly sipped from my bourbon. Yes, I was a bourbon man. At least after the stressful couple of months that I’ve had. A couple of months that have left me angry and resentful. The bar was crowded, but I was in the corner of it with my eyes focused on the glass of bourbon and my thoughts.

It had started with Bear Bekowski and Ekuma. Bear had not been featured in as a champion or a guy who was going to carry the company -- but he was a big burly heel who I could have gotten some mileage out of. I liked Ekuma. Our audience liked Ekuma. What he lacked in ring skill he more than made up for in charisma and star power. He had been getting better and his team with Adams had been a solid babyface team that took pressure of the Diaz family to always be the big babyface tag team. Those had hurt.

Then Clyde. I had hoped for six months to a year with Clyde as champion. He was going to give me a fresh babyface champion with some fresh matchups at the top. He was going to take pressure of Riley from having to constantly carry the ball. Riley’s body had been getting tired and he had needed a break. I had been excited to put the title on Clyde. Marjorie had thought it was too early. Heck, even Joel -- in my weekly call with him -- had thought it was too early. Thought I should make him chase a little bit. I had disagreed. I thought it was the right time to pull the trigger. I was wrong. Not in that it was the right time to pull the trigger, but in putting the belt on him. Had I known he was going to sign with USPW immediately, I wouldn’t have. I would have done something different. Had him lose and then had Riley drop the belt to Logan in a return match. Or Masked Patriot… or someone…. I hated having played hot potato with the belt. I wouldn’t have put the title on Atlas but I *had* to take it off of Clyde and I had already advertised the match, I couldn’t screw the fans. Josh was okay with losing it right to Logan. He understand. Business was business and he was still going to be around as a big bruising heel.

Then Mark.. The guy I wanted to win the 2020 Gold Rush. The guy I was trying to make the next big babyface. I couldn’t be mad. I was months out from the Gold Rush, but I was still disappointed. I had been careful with Mark. Had not pushed him too heavily too fast. Let him develop organically.

Now Primus. I took another drink. A long drink. Primus had been a major player for me since his first day. Almost three years. But then Eric Eisen came calling. That little pisant. That little brat. I was sorry his dad passed away. I was sorry about his family’s loss, but I was not happy to see him in power. I had wanted it to be Jerry. He at least seemed reasonable. Eric?

I scoffed and took another drink. He had taken Primus from me -- right as Primus had returned. What made it worse -- Primus was just returning. He had just come back from his post fight medical leave. He had won his fight and had been poised for another run at the top. I had planned on turning Primus babyface and feuding him with the whole Bowen Services… Had planned.. To make matters worse, Kristen asked if she could be released to follow her fiancee. I was going to have to honor that request. All these plans… You know what they say about telling God your plans? I laughed to myself and finished my bourbon.

Mariah would be waiting for me. Waiting for me to get home. She knew it had been tough on me. Tough to lose all of these guys. You work with them long enough, you start to think of them as your kids. They were my kids. I left some cash on the bartop and stood up. I had had one drink. I was fine to drive. I sighed and stepped out into the warm Denver night. I took a deep breath and exhaled. As a promoter, you were supposed to be used to talent leaving you. It was the nature of the business, plus when I finished with a talent I let them go too. I couldn’t be upset with that, but it could hurt. It was normal for it to have pain. The pain of loss. The pain of knowing that the plan would not come to fruition. The pain of what could have been.

I walked towards my Dodge Ram Lonestar. It was a 2019. I had bought it new. I loved my truck. Opening the door, I slid into the seat and took another deep breath. I leaned my head back against the headrest of my seat. My eyes closed for a second. It would be alright. We would rebound from the losses. We would be better than ever. Plans had changed. We had suffered losses, but we would be be better than ever. I would make sure of it.

Your post makes me feel that one of the guys got signed to a deal. As much as I like Lassana, I feel that he is leaving due to him probably having more pop than Ernest.

I think the title needs to be off the 937 as I remember they struggle to perform in matches, compared to others. Plus Hawaiian Boys 2.0 are much better.

Thirty Minute Time Limit
“The Monster” Raymond Diaz versus Brett Dewes w/ February Malaise

Unfortunately, Raymond doesn't have much pop in the USA, plus he is more than likely on time-decline.

This was a tough one, but I have to go with the Devil's Rejects as I really hope they get their big push.

Julius Moor versus Hammer Hadley
It's his debuting match, plus he has pop from his time in USPW

Opening Match
Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
Masked Patriot versus The Punisher w/ Streetz
He needs the win and he is higher on the card. I could see this ending in a DQ with the Sickle interfering.

PLUS! Appearance by Riley McManus, The Mission, and Logan Diaz!

If you're ending the feud early with a stipulation like that, obviously, Lassana was poached. Most likely by "Easy E" Eric Eisen. Bold guess here, but you're banking on Youngman's nickname and using him to take out departing workers, same way I'm using Cowboy Buck Winchester on my Piledriver diary.

Feels like you're finally fading out old man Diaz and using it to build up the Rejects

“The Return of the Monster” James Diaz versus Louis Tully w/ February Malaise
Looks like a Diaz-Rejects feud is at hand. James is young enough to take the loss and make the bikers feel legit

Pay dem dues, kid

Seeing another DQ finish here thanks to Sickle
