James Diaz pinning Spencer Spade- You need a longer run. That belt played hot potato before Ox.

Semi Main Event
Singles Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
“Mr. Colorado” Ross Henry versus Killer Shark

I don't know if face vs face works, but damn Diaz vs Ross looks like a money making match. Ross wins

Tag Team Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit
GWC World Tag Team Championship
The Mission versus The Fat Cats ©

The Mission had their run. Time for some heel champions. The Fat Cats retain.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
North American Women’s Championship
Amber Allen versus Alicia Strong (c) w/ Lisa Bowen

Never bet against Strong. Alicia wins

Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
North American Tag Team Championship
The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise versus Puder & Yoder ©

DRAW. 4 Homegrown talents, Puder and Yoder just won the belts. Rejects don't afford another loss. Some sort of DRAW occurs with a violent stipulation in 2-3 months to end the feud. Rejects will probably go solo.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
United States Championship
“Bulldozer” Brandon Smith versus Cameron Vessey (c) w/ Lisa Bowen

Good build of the Bulldozer, but Cameron tore the house down recently. So Vessey wins. Dirty. To keep the feud going

Grudge Match
Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
The Keith Brothers versus The Fallen w/ Father Grim

The Keith Brothers won the match and lost the post-match battle. 2 on 2 now means the Fallen win with a Grim distraction.

Singles Match
Fifteen Minute Time Limit
“High Flyin’ Hawaiian” James Adams versus Mighty Cavanagh

James Adams. Cavanagh was brought to play second fiddle to Des Davids who is gunning for the Heavyweight Title

Grudge Match
Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit
The Georgia Bulldogs versus Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen

Bowen Services. Bulldogs will have some communication issues or tag team rust. Plus, you teased a new addition. If that wasn't Alicia, then it may be the deciding factor.

Opening Match
Singles Match
Fifteen Minute Time Limit
Island Boy Apollo versus Xavi Ferrera

Xavi Ferrera. The man pulled a 4 star match in his first showing.

Just a suggestion for Vasquez. If he enjoys butchering and knows the animal anatomy, why not use that as a gimmick? He knows the bones and what pressure to apply for them to snap. Kind of a ruthless and very precise wrestler. Oh, by the way, i didn't request the narrative because of him being sent to developmental. I just saw that you had trouble convincing readers. I thought it may develop more interest.

Default Christmas Chaos 2021

Christmas Chaos
Saturday Week 4, December 2021
Live at the Lowe Ballroom [North West, USA]
Available on the Synergy Network & Southern States TV, Hawaii 50
In Attendance: 5,000 [SELL OUT]
Rating: .43 [323,250 viewers]
Commentators: Michaels Riggs, Ricky Dale Johnson, Duke Hazard

MR: Hello and welcome to Christmas Chaos 2021! What a show we have for you tonight in our final big show of the year. In our main event, James Diaz puts the North American Heavyweight Championship on the line against not only Des Davids, but also Spencer Spade in a triple threat match where everyone has something to prove

RDJ: James Diaz is the son of legendary figure Raymond Diaz and the cousin of Logan Diaz. Logan is one of the most successful wrestlers in CWL history while Raymond is one of the most iconic foreign wrestlers in Japanese wrestling history. James has had to be in both of their shadows and he has been incredibly successful in his young career. Two times he has been tag team champion, he’s been United States Champion, he won the Gold Rush, and he’s the North American Champion. He still wants to silence all doubt and prove that he deserves to be at the top of the food chain in Continental Wrestling League.

DH: I understand all of that, Ricky, but unfortunately for James Diaz I think tonight is the night that he finds out there is a difference between being really good and a game changer. Spencer Spade is a game changer. He’s the Supreme Star. He could be the biggest name in the wrestling business and he has stated that he wants to push Continental Wrestling League to the next level. I believe him and more importantly, I believe in him. Tonight’s the night he gets ‘er done.

Opening Match
Singles Match
Fifteen Minute Time Limit

Island Boy Apollo versus Xavi Ferrera

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Xavi Ferrera defeated Island Boy Apollo in 8:29 by pinfall with a High Impact Frog Splash.

Grudge Match
Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

The Georgia Bulldogs versus Bowen Services w/ Lisa Bowen

In a decent match, KC Glenn and Riley McManus defeated Ox Mastadon and Jeffery Aroma in 9:43 when Riley McManus defeated Jeffery Aroma by pinfall with a Slingshot Suplex.

Riley McManus and Jeffery Aroma are ringside; an argument breaks out, and they start brawling with each other. A host of road agents and staff have to pull them apart.

Singles Match
Fifteen Minute Time Limit

“High Flyin’ Hawaiian” James Adams versus Mighty Cavanagh

In a bout that had good wrestling but didn't have much heat, James Adams defeated Mighty Cavanagh in 7:03 by pinfall with a Pacific Crush.

Grudge Match
Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

The Keith Brothers versus The Fallen w/ Father Grim

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Keith Brothers defeated Scythe and Hellion in 10:46 when Matthew Keith defeated Scythe by pinfall with a roll up.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

“Bulldozer” Brandon Smith versus Cameron Vessey (c) w/ Lisa Bowen

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Cameron Vessey defeated Bulldozer Brandon Smith in 13:29 by pinfall with a Vessey Driver II. Cameron Vessey makes defence number 1 of his CWL United States title.

Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise versus Puder & Yoder ©

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Devil's Rejects defeated Clyde Puder and Jakob Yoder in 14:25 when Keith Holly defeated Jakob Yoder by pinfall with a Reaper Breaker. The Devil's Rejects win the CWL North American Tag Team titles.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

Amber Allen versus Alicia Strong (c) w/ Lisa Bowen

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Alicia Strong defeated Amber Allen in 10:47 by pinfall with a Strong Arm Tactic. Alicia Strong makes defence number 1 of her CWL North American Women's title.

Tag Team Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit

The Mission versus The Fat Cats ©

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Fat Cats defeated The Mission in 15:20 when Monty Trescarde defeated Matty Faith by pinfall with a Capital Gains. The Fat Cats make defence number 6 of their GWC World Tag Team titles.

Carl DiBiase was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Ross Henry cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Killer Shark.

Semi Main Event
Singles Match
Thirty Minute Time Limit

“Mr. Colorado” Ross Henry versus Killer Shark

In a battle of two heavy hitters, Henry spent the match trying to lift Shark off of his feet -- and Shark spent the bulk of the match using his bulk to his advantage to punish Ross. He leaned on Ross, locked in a bear hug, and really used all four hundred and thirty pounds.

Henry foughty back, hit several big clotheslines that staggered Shark but did not drop him. Henry hit a second rope shoulder block that toppled the massive Shark. Henry went for a cover but only got a two count. Shark gave a huge kick out that sent Ross Henry several feet across the ring. Shark got back to his feet and Ross came back across. He went for an Earthquake Slam, but Killer Shark drove both of his fists into the small of Ross’ back. Shark hit his Big Bite [Dominator] on Ross Henry and made the cover while also draping his feet on the ropes for leverage that the referee missed.

Killer Shark defeated Ross Henry in 9:56 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.

The screen for the Lowe Ballroom and the television screen for the home viewers comes alive with a classic hype package for our main event. It showcases some highlights to make sure all three guys look dangerous and capable of walking out as North American Heavyweight Champion.

Main Event
Triple Threat Match
Sixty Minute Time Limit

Des Davids versus “The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade w/ Lisa Bowen versus “The Return of the Monster” James Diaz ©

A blockbuster triple threat. Des Davids won a battle royal at Thanksgiving Thunder to get a match with James Diaz, but Diaz demanded that Spencer Spade be added into this match so that he could get his hands on both of them.

All three men were wrestling like they wanted the championship. Each tried to make pins early on to get the win, but it was too early and no one had taken enough punishment to not be able to kick out. The two-hundred and ninety pound James Diaz really dominated for most of the match He hit several huge suplexes -- particularly on Spencer Spade -- that sent his opponents flying around the ring. He hit a clothesline that almost took Des Davids head off Diaz looked every bit of the monster he is supposed to be.

Spade, who is not a small man, was the smallest man in the match and he definitely took the brunt of the punishment. He took several suplexes from Diaz, he took some big slams from Des Davids, he got hit with a clothesline from each man -- one right after the other -- that looked like they might have knocked him loopy. Davids and Diaz went at it. Diaz tried to hit the Death by Diaz, but Des Davids pushed away from James Diaz.

Des Davids back body dropped James Diaz over the top rope and sent him crashing to the floor. This left Davids and Spade in the ring. Spade was down and out. It looked dangerous for him but Lisa Bowen got onto the ring apron and started to yell at Des Davids, pulling his attention away from Spencer Spade for just a moment. Diaz tried to stand up, but out of nowhere, The East Side Assassin -- Sayeed Ali wrapped a steel chair around Diaz’ back. He literally hit James Diaz so hard that the chair bent around the back. It echoed off the walls of the Lowe Ballroom and Diaz dropped to the floor. In the ring, Spade dodges a Quarterback Sack and hits Des Davids with a Supreme Stunner. He made the cover. One...Two...Three… We have a new North American Champion.

Spencer Spade defeated Des Davids and James Diaz in 19:10 when Spencer Spade defeated Des Davids by pinfall with a Supreme Stunner after Lisa Bowen interfered. During the match we also had Sayeed Ali run in and attack Diaz. Spencer Spade wins the CWL North American Heavyweight title.

Des Davids was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

I apologize for only having two matches with summaries. I've been very sick over the past few days and have spent far more time asleep than awake. I had the last two matches summarized already (and I had preformatted the show) but I did not have the energy to do the other summaries and I did not want to keep the show waiting. So hopefully you still enjoyed!

  • Referee Ray Johnson has signed with CWL. Ray Johnson has been closely associated with Total Championship Wrestling. He is a very respected official who will help take pressure off of senior official Darren Smith.
  • Hailee Hunter has signed a contract with CWL. Her role is said to be as the new liason for Robert Oxford and the talent on show days. Marjorie Oxford had been fulfilling that duty, but due to her pregnancy and medical requirements, she can not be put in potential harm way.
  • According to TotalExtremeWrestling.com Christmas Chaos has raised in importance rating to ‘Above Average’. It is the second CWL show to reach this rating, following July's Independence event.
  • Des Davids and Mighty Cavanagh have both signed exclusive contracts with Total Championship Wrestling. Their last appearance was Saturday Night Slammasters episode 31. We wish them all of the best in their future endeavors.
  • CWL has signed The Masker Mauler VII, Duval Dubois, and Lucy Hinkle to developmental deals.

Shame to see Davids and Cavanagh go. I'd have loved to see what Davids could have done in your promotion especially. Weirdly interested to see what you can do with the latest masked mauler.

I took my sports coat off and hung it on the coat rack in the corner of my office. Despite our increased success as an organization, we were still running in the building that we had been running out of since I started Rocky Mountain Wrestling six years ago. Six years. Had it been that long? I still remember sitting across from Tommy Cornell when he told me he was selling TCW and moving back to England. It was a few days after that I began researching locations and putting the pieces together to open up my own shop. That was six years ago.

I sat down in my overstuffed office chair and booted up my computer. I logged on to TotalExtremeWrestling.com. It was the first day of the year, after all. This meant that the year end awards would be up and I was very curious to see the year end awards this year.

Quote:
Wrestler of the Year - El Leon [SOTBPW]
Company of the Year - South of the Border Pro Wrestling
Tag Team of of the Year - Swoop McCarthy & Montgomery Croft [RAW}
Match of the Year - El Leon versus El Alborotador Confiado [SOTBW]
Show of the Year - Feliz Navidad 2021 [SOTBW]
Young Wrestler of the Year - David Stone [NOTBPW & CWL]
Veteran Wrestler of the Year - Tommy Cornell [21CW]
Female Wrestler of the Year - Joanne Rodriguez [USPW]
Most Improved Company of the Year - Continental Wrestling League
Independent Wrestler of the Year - Vincente Medina
Manager of the Year - Emma Chase [SWF]
Announcer of the Year - Duane Fry [SWF]
Color Commentator - Armando Caballero [SOTBW]
Referee of the Year - Shihei Nagano [PGHW]
We had done it. We were officially recognized as the Most Improved Company of the Year -- and I felt rightfully so. We had had a great year. We were selling more tickets than ever, our ratings were going up. We had a great core of talent. Yes, we had just lost Des Davids and Mighty Cavanagh to TCW and that hurt -- we had not been able to afford to sign them both to exclusive contracts. They were very expensive talents and with both of them over thirty-five, I couldn't justify spending the money for exclusive contracts that was required -- especially when neither wanted to work house shows.

David Stone had won young wrestler of the year. I was excited about that. It was his second straight year winning the award. He was rapidly becoming one of the best wrestlers on the planet, regardless of age. He was living up to the last name Stone. He was twenty-one years old. He had a good United States Championship reign with a good feud Cameron Vessey. I had very big plans for him in 2022.

I looked down at my booking plans. If everything went as planned, this could be a big year for us. We had a few weeks of television to build to The Sixth Anniversary show and then we were off to the races for real.

I was sad to see them go too. I had plans for Des Davids in 2022, but I just couldn't afford to keep him. I tried, but it was a big bidding war between me, TCW, USPW, and SWF. I couldn't afford the numbers they were offering him, especially with his age. So sadly I had to say good bye -- which broke my heart!

Hey Hist

Congrats on the 6 years with RMW/CWL. You’ve done a great job and have kept the ball rolling nicely.

I know you don’t talk finance much in the story, but since you’ve moved to cult, how have the numbers gone?

Great job and it looks like you got a Gorgon Regen there with one of the new ladies

Hope you feel better as well as I have also been down with the worst cold I’ve ever had in like 15 years...and I don’t get sick much

That is a good suggestion. I might have to keep that in mind. And I didn't figure that's why you requested the narrative -- he was due for one anyway, and he was also heading to developmental for a little while anyway because I wanted to freshen him up/figure something out for him.

I'm slowly starting to feel better. Thanks for following along. You're one of the few people who has followed all of my diary attempts [hopefully this one has made up for it the previous ones]

And I do! She's actually in developmental. One of the things I want to start doing with Slammasters -- particularly the last Slammasters of the month -- is to use the call up for a night feature to give some of my developmental workers a shot on the main roster.

As for finances, I'm pulling in, right now, somewhere around $100,000 each month. Some months it is just under (December was $83,000) and some months it's a little over [August was about $150,000 because of the two big shows)

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. Tonight, we have just one match scheduled for the program. Tonight, 30 of our top wrestlers in the Continental Wrestling League will be competing for an opportunity to wrestle new North American Heavyweight Champion, Spencer Spade, at the Sixth Anniversary at the end of this month.

RDJ: This New Year’s Rumble is a big deal. There is a ninety-second interval in between entrants. It is over the top rope. The last man standing in the ring wins. I love it.

MR: And now some words from our new North American Heavyweight Champion.

SS: At Christmas Chaos, I did exactly what I said I was going to do. I became North American Heavyweight Champion and I ushered in the era of Supreme. I’m bringing Sports Entertainment to Continental Wrestling and I am going to fulfill my birthright. I’m going to become what Richard Eisen saw in me. What is son refused to see in me. What they refused to recognize. That I am what it means to be a sports entertainer. With this Championship, I shall take Continental Wrestling League to exactly where I want it to be.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Matty Faith won a battle royal in 56:04. The other members of the 'final four' were Killer Shark, Ross Henry and Scythe, with Killer Shark being the final elimination. Scythe got the most eliminations over the course of the match; James Diaz set the record for surviving the longest.

Hey man the others you started had very good starts and you got me to look at the Cverse 2005 mode with that one. But yes this has been a really good one and I’m glad you are still having fun doing it. It’s great when a good diary can keep going more than a year or so game time. 6 years is great.

Someday I’ll find my stride to do one
