See, I told you it takes 5-6 years and making it to Cult size before you win most improved company of the year.

I could see Vasquez as a gritty war veteran type or a desensitized survivor after the narrative with all that fleeing the war and butchering, but the Pitbull's suggestion might be safer to pull off.

Congratulations on 6 in game years, here's to your 10 year anniversary next!

You better find your stride! I'm glad you looked at the 05 mod. Sometimes I miss the 05 database.

Thank you! I can't imagine what the game universe will look like if I hit ten years into the game. I'll figure out Vasquez and rebrand him and make him a star. I'm certain of it!

  • The Heartbreak Express has signed developmental deals and will be reporting to TGL. The Heartbreak Express have been working for Championship Wrestling from Tennessee since its founding and spent several years employed by Mid Atlantic Wrestling before leaving to try something different. They are a very good tag team that look to add depth to the already deep pool of tag teams in the Continental Wrestling League system.
  • Flying Patriot and Shooting Star Perez have signed developmental deals and will be appearing for Texas Grappling League. Patriot and Perez were most recently employed by Championship Wrestling from Tennessee (with Perez also working for Coastal Zone Championship Wrestling). They are two very talented junior heavyweight wrestlers that Mr. Oxford is very high on.
  • Jared Peterson and Todd Martin have signed developmental deals and will be appearing for Texas Grappling League. Both are graduates of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling that had some personality clashes in their initial runs with the organization. This is said to be their last chances with CWL, as Mr. Oxford wants to give all of his students a platform to succeed.
  • Chad Funk, Blaisdeel Michaud, & Florus Lefevere have all signed developmental deals and will be appearing for Texas Grappling League. Chad Funk has reminded workers over former 21CW and NOTBW standout, Dark Angel. He's British by birth but has been trying to get booked anywhere he can. Michaud and Lefevere are both French Canadians that are said to be very good prospects. They add to a deep roster of Texas Grappling League.
  • Texas Grappling League will be adding the Texas Junior Heavyweight Championship. Robert Oxford is said to be toying with the idea of adding a Junior Heavyweight Championship to the main Continental Wrestling League championship pool -- the Global Wrestling Council does have a Junior Heavyweight Division that is hotly contested over. There are several Junior Heavyweight Wrestlers [Lightweight or under] in Texas Grappling League. Depending on how the championship is received, Mr. Oxford may make the decision to bring the division to the main roster.

I cradled the phone to my ear and nodded my head. With our Sixth Anniversary Show coming up, I wanted to do something special. I’d already lined up my main event. Matty Faith would challenge Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight Championship. Both men had been guys I was high on when I was in Total Championship Wrestling. I had tried to figure out a way to steal them from the Eisens then and fortunately for me, the Eisens did what the Eisens do -- blunder young talents -- and they became available to me. I had them both under exclusive contracts -- they weren’t going anywhere for a few years. They were essential building blocks to our future and building blocks that I was using on purpose. For our Sixth Anniversary, I was doing a little gamesmanship. I wanted to rub it in Eric Eisen’s face what he blundered. What his father, may he rest in peace, blundered. I was going to feature two former Rhode Island Pro Wrestling and Supreme Wrestling Federation talents in my main event. Two young talents that could really go. Matty had done great since joining me in 2020. He and Ranger had consistently put on the best matches of the night. Spade had wrestled two matches and cut a couple of promos. Both had done very well. I was excited to present this match. To show the Eisens what they are missing out on.

But this was our Anniversary show. I wanted things that harkened back to our past as well. “I’m glad you guys can make it. Thank you. I can’t wait.” I hung up the phone. I had just confirmed with Ace Youngblood that he and Max Mayhem -- the Aces of Mayhem -- would compete on this show. They were working for Championship Wrestling from Tennessee and Youth Action. They were doing well for themselves and had been employed by me for three years. They were in the Hall of Fame. They were two-time Tag Team Champions. They had been crucial to our formation -- and they had worked on our first show. They were going to work on this show.

Their opponents? Muscle and Fitness. Richie Riggins and Justice Jolson. I had recently decided to give them both chances down in TGL. I didn’t think they’d be full-time, main-roster, major players, but I did think they deserved another chance. This would be a big chance for them though. The Sixth Anniversary show was very important. It would set up our 2022 and it would set up all of the next things to come. We had ran thirty-two episodes of Saturday Night Slammasters. As a company, we had put on one hundred and forty six shows. The Sixth Anniversary would be our one hundred and fiftieth show that I booked.

Matty Faith versus Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight Championship. That could steal the show and would main event. To open the show? The Anniversary Tag Team Showcase. The Aces of Mayhem versus Muscle & Fitness. Where we had been to where we were going. The show itself would tell our story. It would tell the story of our The Climb. It would feature major players from our past. From humble beginnings to a hunger for national expansion. The Sixth Anniversary… Here we go.

Looking forward to the anniversary show, especially with the Aces Of Mayhem returning, I always like them for whatever reason. I often pick them up in games. Are they returning as a one off, full time or is that something we'll find out soon?

It's just a one off, for now. If they really impress it could turn into something more.

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. In our main event of the evening, The Nightmare Scythe will square off against the hard-nosed, seasoned brawler Guide. Logan Diaz will look to get revenge for his cousin James with a match against Sayeed Ali. Plus, Lisa Bowen has promised some words!

RDJ: I don’t know how we can top last week’s New Year’s Eve Rumble. Matty Faith is headed to the Sixth Anniversary to wrestle Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight Championship. Tonight could have even more Anniversary implications.

DH: Here is to hoping that the Anniversary show is a night of celebration for Bowen Services and all they have brought to the Continental Wrestling League.

MR: And now some words from Lisa Bowen.

Lisa Bowen is standing backstage. Standing around her are three members of Bowen Services -- Spencer Spade, Cameron Vessey, and Alicia Strong. All three are proudly holding their championships.

LB: At Christmas Chaos, Bowen Services took the next step. We now hold all of the singles cards here in Continental Wrestling and it is only a matter of time until we win the Tag Team Championships and we control the whole company. We are what is happening in professional wrestling. We have the greatest Sports Entertainer on the planet. We have two people who ooze professional wrestling. Whose families built this sport. The daughter of the greatest sports entertainer of all time. The son of one half of the greatest tag team of all time. We are what’s happening in professional wrestling. You can either get with us, or you can get put down.

Singles Match

“The Mennonite Mammoth” Jakob Yoder versus “The Rampage” Deever Arnold

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Deever Arnold defeated Jakob Yoder in 8:34 by pinfall with a Cannonball Senton following interference from Carl DiBiase.

MR: Ross Henry is standing by with some words for Killer Shark.

RH: At Christmas Chaos…. I lost. I could stand here and complain. I could say it wasn’t fair and he cheated, but at the end of the day it was up to me to get the job done. And I didn’t get the job done, but Shark… As big as you are, you can’t feel good about that win. You can’t feel like you earned it. So I’m saying let’s do it again. One more time big man. You and me.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

“Glorious” Logan Diaz versus “The East Side Assassin” Sayeed Ali w/ Brother G

In a bout that had good wrestling but didn't have much heat, Logan Diaz drew with Sayeed Ali in 12:06 following a double count out.

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. In our main event of the evening, Homegrown, the newly minted team of Clyde Puder and Jakob Yoder, will square off against the returning team of Howlin’ Mad Mort and Whitehorse Whitaker -- the Boys from the Yukon.

RDJ: That’s a huge tag team main event. The Buys from The Yukon are former North American Tag Team Champions, former New York Tag Team Champions. They are incredible capable and a huge opportunity for both teams.

DH: I’m very familiar with The Boys from the Yukon. They are big, mean nasty sons of guns. It’s going to be a real barn burner of a main event.

Opening Match
Tag Team Match
Fifteen Minute time Limit

The Southern Stars versus Samoan Demolition

In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Samoan Demolition defeated The Southern Stars in 8:38 when King Malietoa defeated Animal Harker by pinfall with a Throne Splash.

Houston Handley versus Nina Cacace

In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Houston Handley defeated Nina Cacace in 9:34 by pinfall with a Houston's Problem.

Riley McManus is backstage with Hailey Hunter. He asks to be given a chance to wrestle Jeffery Aroma in a singles match, and Hunter accepts the request.

Singles Match
Fifteen Minute Time Limit

Island Boy Apollo versus Monty Trescarde
In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Monty Trescarde defeated Island Boy Apollo in 6:25 by pinfall with a Cash Bonus.

Main Event
Tag Team Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

Homegrown versus The Boys from the Yukon

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Clyde Puder and Jakob Yoder defeated The Boys From The Yukon in 12:57 when Clyde Puder defeated Howlin' Mad Mort by pinfall with a Patriot Powerslam.

In terms of in-ring work, Clyde Puder was head and shoulders above everyone else. Howlin' Mad Mort was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Puder and Yoder are celebrating their victory in the ring. The Fat Cats run in and attack, beating them down into the mat.

North American Heavyweight Championship
Matty Faith versus "The Supreme Star" Spencer Spade (c) w/ Lisa Bowen
Spade ain't losing yet. Another loss for the Mission men

"Mr. Colorado" Ross Henry versus Killer Shark
Ross scores the equalizer, leading to the big final war to settle the score

GWC World Tag Team Championship
Homegrown versus The Fat Cats (c)
Not sure who Homegrown are

GWC World Six Man Championship
The Diaz Family versus Gangsta Nation (c) w/ Brother G
Re-branding this into the Diaz Family title

"The Cornerstone" Riley McManus versus "The Headhunter" Jeffery Aroma w/ Lisa Bowen
This feud is only beginning, too soon for Riley to win. By the way, I love his gradual face turn

United States Championship
Ranger versus Cameron Vessey (c) w/ Lisa Bowen
The Mission have been on the losing end one too many times, but Ranger sadly isn't winning here

GWC World Junior Heavyweight Championship
KC Glenn versus "High Flyin' Hawaiian" James Adams versus Horton Ravenwood (c)
Glenn's probably the best man in this and carrying the title gives him something to do between the whole McManus-Aroma-Mastodon thing

North American Tag Team Championship
The Keith Brothers versus The Devil's Rejects (C) w/ February Malaise
Too soon for the Keiths to win. If the Fallen don't intervene and that feud's all wrapped up, February Malaise will

North American Women's Championship
Houston Handley versus Alicia Strong (c) w/ Lisa Bowen
Easy pick, very few women feel like a legit threat to Alicia's title and Handley isn't one of them

"The Canadian Wrestling Machine" David Stone versus "The Puerto Rican Wrestling Machine" Xavi Ferrera
Xavi's good, but not good enough to beat Dave Stone, at least not yet

Foxxy LaRue versus Missy Masterson
Missy is the regular estabished one. Hope Foxxy's signed to stay and this isn't a brief run or one-off

Legacy Showcase
The Aces of Mayhem versus Muscle & Fitness
They're Hall of Famers for a reason
