Could i just suggest all the entries from the journal to be merged in 1 thread as it would be easier to read and follow the progress?

I did merge a few of the earlier entries together to make things easier in terms of amount of threads.

If the simulation part is anywhere near Gangsters: Organized Crime...
I'm all in.

That overlooked gem was one of the original inspirations for this game.

But hopefully this is the answer!

GOG has a pretty poor record of this sort of thing with some games. No, last I checked, Gangsters has some issues with W10.

It looks that way. Shame - wouldn’t have stopped me looking at this new game, but would have been a nice retro run!

Glad that elements of Gangsters are an inspiration, definitely will be following and trying out on release.

GOG also had major issues with W10 on Chaos Overlords, another minor inspiration for this game in terms of style and setup.

New diary entry coming soon!

Well, this is somewhat refreshing.

Honestly, I've never found a better gangster/mafia game since Gangsters: Organized Crime so many years ago. Omerta was meh, and others just not appealing to me that much.

I do sincerely hope that this one would be good. Keep it up, guys!

I'm all aboard the hype and excitement train.

Please take your time on this and deliver to us another gem that will no doubt eat up hours of my free time.

I don't want to drag TEW 2016 comparisons into this thread already, but if TEW 2016 does anything right it gets you really immersed into the imaginary world you're apart of...

I hope that the members of your organization can have photos, plenty of stats, attributes, personalities, relationships with you and each other (they can beef and even hurt - kill each other, they can take someone on as an apprentice, they can mentor younger members) and all the other traits that make the rosters / workers in the TEW games so fun to re-visit and play with.

I've noticed that most of the other games offered by Grey Dog Software (and I own many of their games) just don't give you that same feeling because the interaction / organic relationship mechanics just aren't fleshed out as well.

Out of curiosity, will modding be limited to just the gangsters? Mostly asking because even though you mentioned the street names being randomized I still think it would be cool to put in specific names for people who want to recreate specific cities so to speak.

The modding will include everything: street names and stats, gangsters, etc. This way you can create the world you want.
