WWE Superstars (Live from TD Bank Sports Center (CT), 3,386 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Layla versus Rosa Mendes
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Layla defeated Rosa Mendes in 18:12 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Layla and Rosa Mendes have great chemistry as opponents, and it showed in their performances tonight.
Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus Hunico and Camacho
In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Team CoBro defeated Hunico & Camacho in 18:27 when Santino Marella defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Cobra. This was a good victory for Santino and Ryder heading into Survivor Series when they will join Ryback and Mason Ryan on Chris Jericho’s team in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Jack Swagger and Tensai.
Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Leo Kruger
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Richie Steamboat defeated Leo Kruger in 18:03 by pinfall with a Roll Up. This match was far too long given who was involved, as the WWE Universe still does not really know who either Richie Steamboat or Leo Kruger are despite their time on NXT.
Match Rating: F+

Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 7:43 when Trent Barreta defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a Running Single Leg High Knee Strike. Joey Styles has joined Josh Mathews and Matt Striker on the commentary team for WWE Superstars and pointed out that he was very impressed with the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu following another victory tonight.
Match Rating: D

The RAW Rebound shows events from Monday Night RAW, beginning with more signs of the alliance between the WWE Champion CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman as Punk and Lesnar once again left the ring together following a handshake at the beginning of RAW. The romantic confrontation between John Cena and AJ Lee is also shown when the former General Manager AJ kissed John Cena following Cena proclaiming that he will do everything in his power to get AJ’s job back from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. AJ told Cena not to worry about getting her job back, and instead to focus on Survivor Series when he will challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing match. The main event of Monday Night RAW was CM Punk taking on Mason Ryan in non-title action. At Survivor Series Mason Ryan will join Ryback, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Prior to RAW’s main event, as Chris Jericho accompanied Mason Ryan to the ring for the biggest match in the young Welshman’s career thus far, Mr. McMahon came to the ring. Mr. McMahon told Jericho and Ryan that at Survivor Series Jericho’s team is fighting for the WWE itself following what Brock Lesnar did to Triple H at Summerslam, when he ruthlessly broke Triple H’s arm, effectively ending “The Game’s” in-ring career. Brock Lesnar then came to the ring and kicked Mason Ryan in the groin, injuring him before the main event match with CM Punk. Despite this, Mason Ryan put up a valiant effort against Punk, having the match of his career until finally just coming up short as CM Punk got the victory. RAW went off the air with CM Punk and Paul Heyman celebrating Punk’s win, but will the same scene be seen at Survivor Series when Punk puts the title on the line against John Cena in a Last Man Standing match?
Rating: B

Kaitlyn versus Tenille Tayla
In an extremely short match, Kaitlyn defeated Tenille Tayla in 2:59 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. Kaitlyn was really off her game tonight but was still able to pick up the all-important victory against the newcomer Tenille Tayla.
Match Rating: E+

We see highlights of last week’s Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with Randy Orton announcing that at Survivor Series he will lead a team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against a team captained by Alberto Del Rio. We learnt later on in the show that Orton’s team will consist of the WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, collectively known as Team Hell No, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. Del Rio’s team will feature SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz, as well as Team Rhodes Scholars, the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Following Orton’s announcement at the start of SmackDown he was viciously attacked by Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio would then later take on Sheamus, the World Heavyweight Champion, in SmackDown’s non-title main event. Sheamus picked up the victory over Del Rio on SmackDown last week and we learn that Booker T tweeted earlier today that tomorrow night’s Friday Night SmackDown main event will see Sheamus take on the Miz in non-title action.
Rating: B

Christian versus David Otunga
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Christian defeated David Otunga in 8:07 by pinfall with a Spear. Layla accompanied Christian to ringside for this match and the pair appears to have pretty good chemistry together, but the full extent of their relationship remains to be seen. Layla will be busy for the next few weeks as on top of managing Christian she will also join Kaitlyn, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match against a team led by the Divas Champion Eve.
Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: The Uso’s versus Team Rhodes Scholars
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated The Uso's in 13:28 when Cody Rhodes defeated Jey Uso by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. The twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso showed excellent chemistry when teaming together but were unable to pick up the victory on this occasion.
Match Rating: D-

Post-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus The Prime Time Players
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Prime Time Players in 12:58 when Brodus Clay defeated Titus O'Neil by pinfall with a Big Splash. Abraham Washington did some good work at ringside as he supported Titus O’Neil and Darren Young but was unable to help the Prime Time Players get the victory in this one as Brodus and Riley continued their winning streak.
Match Rating: D-

Final Show Rating: C+

Friday, Week 3, October, 2012

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus The Miz
Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown main event was announced earlier this week on Twitter by the General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus take on the self proclaimed must see Superstar in the history of the WWE, the Miz, in non-title action. At Survivor Series next month Sheamus will once again put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Big Show, and will look to defeat the Big Show just as he did earlier this month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in their first ever one on one match. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus has been on a bit of a role as of late as two weeks ago on SmackDown he teamed with Randy Orton to defeat the team of the Big Show and Alberto Del Rio in the evening’s tag team main event, and last week’s SmackDown main event saw Sheamus defeat Alberto Del Rio in non-title action. Sheamus will be looking for another victory tonight against the former Monday Night RAW Money in the Bank winner the Miz. The Miz has achieved a lot over the past few years in WWE, and is a former WWE Champion, defeating John Cena in the main event of last year’s Wrestlemania. The Miz is also a former two time United States Champion, a four time tag team Champion with illustrious partners such as John Cena and the Big Show and most recently held the WWE Intercontinental Championship until he was defeated a few weeks ago by Kofi Kingston. Kofi Kingston, the reigning Intercontinental Champion, appears to have the Miz’s number as he defeated him at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to retain the title and defeated Miz again in non-title action last week on SmackDown! Other than his losses to Kofi Kingston, however, the Miz has been successful as of late, and two weeks ago enjoyed two huge wins in one week as he defeated Brodus Clay on Monday Night RAW before defeating the returning former World Champion Christian on SmackDown! Kofi Kingston and the Miz will be opponents again at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Kingston will join R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No on Randy Orton’s team to take on Alberto Del Rio’s team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and Team Rhodes Scholars in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus Team Rhodes Scholars
The WWE Tag Team Champions of Daniel Bryan and Kane, collectively known as Team Hell No, will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, the team known as Team Rhodes Scholars, in non-title action. These two teams will be opponents again at Survivor Series as Daniel Bryan and Kane will join the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio’s team of the Miz, the SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler and Team Rhodes Scholars. Team Rhodes Scholars are yet to defeat Team Hell No in tag team action as Team Hell No defeated Rhodes and Sandow at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships and defeated them again in non-title action last week on SmackDown!

Non-Title: Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler
Next month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston will join R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio’s team of the Friday Night SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as Team Rhodes Scholars. Tonight on SmackDown a member of Team Orton will face another member of Team Del Rio as Ziggler will take on the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in non-title action.

R-Truth versus Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio will captain a team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, The Miz and the Friday Night SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series against Randy Orton’s team of the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No and R-Truth in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Tonight on SmackDown Del Rio will face a member of Team Orton as he goes one on one with the slightly unhinged R-Truth.

Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre versus The Uso’s
Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre, two out of the three members of 3MB along with Jinder Mahal, will be in tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the twin brothers of Jimmy and Jey, collectively known as the Uso’s. This match took place two weeks ago on SmackDown with 3MB picking up the all-important victory, and Heath Slater was also victorious in singles action last week against Tyson Kidd.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Kaitlyn
Finally, the WWE Divas Champion Eve will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as she will take on Kaitlyn in non-title action. At Survivor Series Eve will lead a team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana against Kaitlyn’s team of Kelly Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. These two Divas faced one another at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View with the Divas title on the line, with Eve picking up the win on that occasion.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus The Miz
Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus Team Rhodes Scholars
Non-Title: Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler
R-Truth versus Alberto Del Rio
Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre versus The Uso’s
Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Kaitlyn

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Rosa Mendes
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Alicia Fox defeated Rosa Mendes in 18:01 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.
Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 17:48 when Trent Barreta defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. This match also needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved, as the Ascension of Kenneth Cameron and Conor O’Brian are still not very well known by the WWE Universe despite their time on NXT.
Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Christian versus David Otunga
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Christian defeated David Otunga in 17:58 by pinfall with a Killswitch. Just as last night on WWE Superstars, Layla accompanied Christian to ringside for this match, and Christian and Layla continue to show signs of pretty good chemistry together.
Match Rating: B-

Friday Night SmackDown begins with Ricardo Rodriguez, the personal ring announcer for Alberto Del Rio, standing in the ring. Rodriguez wastes little time in introducing his employer, and Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring. Rodriguez hands Del Rio the microphone and he says that last week on SmackDown he was unable to defeat the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in the evening’s non-title main event but that he still sent Randy Orton a message as he attacked Orton at the beginning of the show. Del Rio says that at Survivor Series his team of the SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz, and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow will defeat Randy Orton’s team of the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No and R-Truth in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Del Rio also announces that Booker T, the General Manager, has put him in a match tonight against R-Truth. Randy Orton’s music then plays and Del Rio and Rodriguez both stare at the entrance-way, awaiting the arrival of the Apex Predator. However, Orton runs through the crowd and sneaks into the other side of the ring and drops Del Rio with an RKO before crawling out of the ring. Rodriguez tries to attend to Del Rio by waving at his face, trying to get his employer to his feet. Randy Orton smiles, having got revenge on Del Rio for the attack last week, before the Viper heads to the back.
Rating: A

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Kaitlyn
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Eve defeated Kaitlyn in 7:39 by pinfall with a Swinging Neckbreaker. At Survivor Series Eve will captain a team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana against Kaitlyn’s team of Kelly Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.
Match Rating: D+

Following Eve’s victory she stamps on Kaitlyn, the Divas Champion looking to weaken her opponent at Survivor Series, before two of Kaitlyn’s team-mates Layla and Tamina rush to the ring to aid Kaitlyn. Aksana and Natalya then rush to the ring and join Eve in beating down Kaitlyn, Layla and Tamina. At Survivor Series Eve, Natalya, Aksana, Beth Phoenix and Kharma will take on Kaityn’s team of Layla, Tamina, Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.
Rating: C-

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No vs. Team Rhodes Scholars
In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Team Hell No defeated Team Rhodes Scholars in 6:33 when Daniel Bryan defeated Damien Sandow by submission with a LeBell Lock. At Survivor Series Daniel Bryan and Kane will join the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth on Randy Orton’s team whilst Rhodes and Sandow will join SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler and the Miz on Alberto Del Rio’s team.
Match Rating: C

The Big Show comes to the ring and takes a microphone from the ringside area. Non-Title: Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler
In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler in 8:28 by pinfall with a Trouble In Paradise. Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero accompanied Ziggler to ringside.

Rating: C+

R-Truth versus Alberto Del Rio
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Alberto Del Rio defeated R-Truth in 7:35 by pinfall with a Shining Enziguri. Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez accompanied Del Rio to ringside for this one.
Match Rating: B-

We cut backstage to find the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus preparing for his Friday Night SmackDown non-title main event against the Miz. Randy Orton then comes into the ring and says that the Miz is one of his opponents at Survivor Series, and wishes Sheamus good luck. Orton says that if Del Rio tries to interfere in the main event, Orton has his back. Sheamus thanks Orton, before Orton leaves the room and Sheamus continues his preparations.
Rating: B+

The Uso’s versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre
In an extremely short match, Slater & McIntyre defeated The Uso's in 3:20 when Heath Slater defeated Jey Uso by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Twin Brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso showed excellent chemistry teaming together but were unable to pick up the victory tonight as the 3MB pairing of Slater and McIntyre got the victory as Slater pinned Jey after McIntyre had hit him with the Futureshock DDT.
Match Rating: D+

Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes to the ring to introduce the participants for tonight’s non-title main event, as the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will take on the Miz.

Monday, Week 4, October, 2012

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Santino Marella
Tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event will see the WWE Champion CM Punk in action against the “Master of the Cobra” Santino Marella. Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero tweeted earlier today that this match will take place tonight on RAW as CM Punk continues his preparations prior to his title defence at next month’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View against John Cena in a Last Man Standing match. Santino Marella will also be in action at Survivor Series as he will join his Team CoBro tag team partner Zack Ryder as well as Mason Ryan and Ryback on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Since defeating Ryback at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View earlier this month, CM Punk has been victorious on both episodes of Monday Night RAW since then as he has seemingly joined forces with the returning Brock Lesnar. The alliance between CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman seems a dominant one and tonight the WWE Champion will take on another of Lesnar’s opponents at Survivor Series in the former United States Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion and former tag team Champion Santino Marella. Two weeks ago on RAW CM Punk defeated the captain of his team at Survivor Series, Chris Jericho, in the evening’s non-title main event in a rematch from this year’s Wrestlemania, when Punk’s WWE Championship was on the line. Last week on RAW CM Punk defeated Mason Ryan in a non-title main event in what many see as Mason Ryan’s best performance to date since the Welshman emerged on the scene in the WWE. However, Punk’s victory last week may have been made easier by Brock Lesnar kicking Mason Ryan in the groin just moments before the match took place. Santino Marella failed to win the United States Championship at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View as Antonio Cesaro defeated him to retain his title, and since then Santino and Zack Ryder have lost two tag team matches in a row on RAW to the team of Antonio Cesaro and his newcomer tag team partner, the dangerous Kassius Ohno.

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
The United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he teams with his Kings of Wrestling tag team partner Kassius Ohno to take on the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month Cesaro and Ohno will join Tensai and Jack Swagger on Brock Lesnar’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho’s team of Ryback, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. At the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View earlier this month Cesaro defeated Santino Marella to retain his US Championship and for the past two weeks on RAW Cesaro and Ohno have teamed up to defeat the Team CoBro pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in tag team action. Two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW Brodus Clay and Alex Riley teamed up for the very first time to defeat the team of JTG and Michael McGillicutty, and last week on RAW Clay and Riley once again defeated JTG and McGillicutty in tag team competition. How will Clay and Riley fare against different opponents tonight?

Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty
At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month Chris Jericho and his team of Ryback, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder will take on Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Ryback and Mason Ryan will get practice being on the same team as they team up to take on the pair of JTG and Michael McGillicutty in tag team action.

Chris Jericho versus Jack Swagger
Chris Jericho will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the “All American American” Jack Swagger in singles competition. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month Jericho will lead his team of Ryback, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Jericho returned to action two weeks ago in Monday Night RAW’s non-title main event against the WWE Champion CM Punk, in a losing effort. However, Jericho did defeat Tensai just last week on RAW.

Zack Ryder versus Tensai
The ever popular and charismatic “Woo Woo Woo Kid” Zack Ryder will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the dangerous powerhouse known as Tensai. Ryder and Tensai will be opponents again next month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Ryder will team with Santino Marella, Ryback and Mason Ryan on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Ryder has not been on the winning side of things for a while as for the past two weeks on RAW he and Santino have lost tag team matches to Cesaro and Ohno.

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma
Finally, the Divas will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as Kelly Kelly will take on the intimidating Kharma. At Survivor Series Kelly will join Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Santino Marella
US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty
Chris Jericho versus Jack Swagger
Zack Ryder versus Tensai
Kelly Kelly versus Kharma

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to ringside. Punk says that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship once again. CM Punk then says that he would like to introduce a man who he has become good friends with over the past number of weeks, the baddest man on the planet, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar then joins Punk in the ring and Punk hands him the microphone. Lesnar proclaims that at Survivor Series he will lead his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger to victory in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Ryback and Mason Ryan. Lesnar says that Jericho’s team is a bunch of misfits and losers and CM Punk will prove that once again tonight when he defeats Santino Marella in tonight’s non-title main event. Lesnar and Punk then shake hands with one another and smile before heading to the back together.
Rating: B+

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma

Match Rating: C+

As Kelly Kelly celebrates her victory the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the ring. She says that Kelly may have gained a fluke win tonight but at Survivor Series Vickie is sure that the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana will defeat Kaitlyn and her team of Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Beth Phoenix and Natalya then come to the ring and the pair, along with Kharma, attack Kelly Kelly until AJ Lee makes the save. Vickie, Beth, Natalya and Kharma immediately leave the ring as AJ tends to Kelly.
Rating: C

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Kings of Wrestling in 7:48 when Brodus Clay defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall with a Big Splash. Despite losing tonight Cesaro and Ohno showed great chemistry when teaming together and the pair will need that when they team with Tensai and Jack Swagger on Brock Lesnar’s team at Survivor Series in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.
Match Rating: C-

John Cena comes to the ring, to a great response from the WWE Universe, and he takes a microphone. Cena says that he knows that he has a Last Man Standing match against WWE Champion CM Punk at Survivor Series with the WWE Championship on the line but he can’t stop thinking about the kiss that AJ Lee gave him last week on Monday Night RAW. Cena says that he knows that RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is going to do all in her power to make his and AJ’s lives a misery, and that is not fair. AJ then joins Cena in the ring and tells him that he has to focus on his title match at Survivor Series. AJ then leads Cena out of the ring and the pair head to the back together.

Ryder and Tensai will be opponents again at Survivor Series in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match as Ryder will be on Team Jericho whilst Tensai will be on Team Lesnar.
Match Rating: B-

Following Tensai’s victory over Zack Ryder he is soon joined by Brock Lesnar, the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno and the Team Lesnar members continue to assault Ryder until Chris Jericho and Santino Marella rush to the ring. A brawl erupts and the numbers game catches up to Jericho, Santino and Ryder as they are all left down on the mat by Team Lesnar and Lesnar leads his team to the back. Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole discuss just how important the powerhouses of Ryback and Mason Ryan may be to Team Jericho at Survivor Series during this match.
Match Rating: C-

Santino Marella comes to the ring for Monday Night RAW’s non-title main event against the WWE Champion CM Punk but before Punk comes to the ring Santino is joined by Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie tells Santino that at Survivor Series he and the other Team Jericho members are fighting for the WWE itself against Brock Lesnar and his team following what Brock Lesnar did to Triple H at Summerslam. Stephanie also says that she has had enough of Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero using her power to humiliate former General Manager AJ Lee. Stephanie says that she will remain at ringside during the main event and there will be consequences if any Team Lesnar members interfere.
Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Santino Marella
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, CM Punk defeated Santino Marella in 10:10 by pinfall with a Go to Sleep. Punk defeated yet another Team Jericho member in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event.
Match Rating: B

Backstage Fallout: The Road Dogg is fulfilling his backstage duties as a staff member on Monday Night RAW when he is once again intimidated by Brodie Lee, who demands to have a match soon.
Rating: E+

Backstage Fallout: AJ Lee can be seen backstage when a newcomer covered in tattoos walks over to AJ. The man introduces himself as Corey Graves and says that AJ should try being with a real man, which leads AJ to walk off in disgust.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal
Tonight’s NXT main event will see the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in non-title action as he takes on the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Tonight will be the very first time that Rollins and Regal have ever faced one another in singles competition, although they were both involved in the same match two weeks ago on NXT as Seth Rollins defeated Regal, Briley Pierce and Percy Watson in the evening’s main event match to successfully make the second defence of his NXT Championship. Tonight’s match against Regal, who has held over twenty Championships in the WWE, may be the biggest test of Rollins’ young career thus far. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes has made this match perhaps due to Regal’s recent ramblings that the younger generation of Superstars on NXT such as Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods are not to be respected and that they are not even capable of lacing Regal’s boots. Three weeks ago on NXT William Regal defeated Xavier Woods in what was Xavier Woods’ debut match on NXT, and since then both Regal and Woods have had several confrontations, with Woods claiming that he deserves a rematch against Regal and wanting to prove to him that he can defeat him after the disrespect that Regal has shown Xavier Woods over the past few weeks. Regal has always claimed to be above Xavier Woods and more focused on becoming the new NXT Champion, and a win tonight, albeit in non-title action, over the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins may well put him in the Championship picture. Xavier Woods will likely be watching this match very closely as he too may feel that he is deserving of a future opportunity to challenge for the NXT Championship following his victory over the mysterious Bray Wyatt in last week’s NXT main event. As always, the NXT main event will likely be closely scrutinised by the higher ups in the WWE, including the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Seth Rollins has done a terrific job since defeating Jinder Mahal, now a 3MB member alongside Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre, in the finals of the NXT Gold Rush tournament several months ago to become the first ever NXT Champion and since then has made two title defences, as in addition to his victory in the Fatal Four-Way match two weeks ago Rollins also defeated Michael McGillicutty in his first ever title defence.

Derrick Bateman versus Briley Pierce
Also tonight on NXT, the charismatic Derrick Bateman will return to action as he will take on the younger Brother of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, Briley Pierce. Up until a few weeks ago, Briley Pierce was working as a backstage interviewer on NXT, but two weeks ago he had his debut in-ring match on NXT as he joined Percy Watson and William Regal in challenging Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship in the evening’s Fatal Four-Way main event. Briley Pierce put up a decent fight in his debut match, but a lot of his showing off during the match, a trait that he clearly learnt from his older brother Ziggler, may have cost him as Seth Rollins ultimately pinned Pierce to retain his title. Briley Pierce was also in action against the NXT Champion Seth Rollins last week on NXT, this time in non-title action. Briley Pierce again came up short last week as Rollins pinned Pierce for the second week in a row, but he seems to have impressed the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes enough to be given another match on NXT tonight against the more experienced and larger Derrick Bateman. Some feel that Briley Pierce has a bigger chance of getting into the WWE than many of the other rookies on NXT due to Dolph Ziggler’s relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, but in-ring competition should still be the main barometer in terms of success, and a win against Derrick Bateman tonight, which would be Pierce’s first ever victory on NXT, could go along way into furthering his career in the WWE. Two weeks ago on NXT Derrick Bateman competed in his first match in several months as he defeated the tattooed Corey Graves in singles competition. Despite Derrick Bateman defeating Corey Graves it appears that Graves has been given the opportunity to tour with the RAW roster and Graves was seen on Backstage Fallout last night following RAW attempting to seduce the former General Manager AJ Lee, who did not seem too impressed with Grave’s advances. Derrick Bateman may well feel frustrated that Corey Graves has been given an opportunity to show his personality in front of the WWE Universe despite losing to Derrick Bateman two weeks ago on NXT.

Naomi versus Maxine
Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see Naomi take on the man-eater known as Maxine. Naomi knows what it feels like to appear on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown following her time as a Funkadaktyll for Brodus Clay. However, now that Brodus Clay is not being accompanied to the ring by Cameron and Naomi, instead focusing on his tag team with Alex Riley, Naomi is competing as a wrestler on NXT. Naomi, the now former dancer, competed in her first match on NXT two weeks ago against the English Diva from Norwich, Paige, but lost her match. Last week on NXT Naomi again competed on NXT as he faced the daughter of the late, great Eddie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz. Naomi was still unable to pick up the victory last week on NXT as Diaz picked up the win, but the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes has given Naomi a third match in as many weeks and tonight she will take on Maxine, the former love interest of both Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis. Maxine is a very ambitious Diva and would love nothing more than to gain a victory over Naomi tonight.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal
Derrick Bateman versus Briley Pierce
Naomi versus Maxine

WWE NXT (Live from Savannah Center Promenade (GA), 400 in Attendance)

Naomi versus Maxine
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Naomi defeated Maxine in 7:53 by pinfall with a Superkick. For the third week in a row Naomi was in Divas action tonight on NXT, as the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes must see potential in the former professional dancer and Funkadaktyll to Brodus Clay, Naomi. Two weeks ago on NXT, in her in-ring debut, Naomi lost to the Diva from Norwich, England, Paige. Last week on NXT Naomi again fell short as she was defeated by the daughter of the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz, who won the match by using her father’s trademark Frogsplash. Tonight Naomi was finally victorious as she defeated the man eater, and extremely bitchy Diva Maxine following a huge kick to the face of Maxine. Naomi seemed delighted to finally pick up her first victory on NXT and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T will no doubt be keeping their eyes on Naomi and the NXT Divas division.
Match Rating: E

The NXT Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring to adulation from the NXT Universe in attendance at the NXT Arena. Rollins swings his Championship belt with joy as he makes his way into the ring and is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area. Byron Saxton notes on commentary that Rollins is very happy to be the NXT Champion. Rollins says that in tonight’s NXT non-title main event he will take on the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Rollins says that he is looking forward to his match with Regal, who is somebody that he respects greatly due to Regal’s fifteen plus years in the business and the fact that he has won over twenty Championships in the WWE. Rollins says that Regal has done it all, he’s competed on Monday Night RAW and he’s competed on Friday Night SmackDown! Rollins proclaims that when he first won the NXT Championship several months ago after winning the Gold Rush tournament, defeating Jinder Mahal in the finals to become the first ever NXT Champion, he promised that he would be a fighting Champion, and that the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes knows that he can always count on Rollins to compete in the ring, safe in the knowledge that the NXT Champion will never back down from a fight. Rollins says that in the time he’s been Champion, he’s seem several Superstars come and go from NXT. He says that Jinder Mahal was sure he would become the first ever NXT Champion, but Rollins defeated him, and Jinder Mahal then left to form 3MB with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Rollins mentions three weeks ago on NXT, when he teamed with his good friend Richie Steamboat to defeat the team of Calvin Raines and Big E Langston. Rollins notes that Steamboat is now touring with the Monday Night RAW roster, and that Rollins couldn’t be happier for him. Rollins says that he knows that his place is ultimately in the WWE, and that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T would love nothing more than to add Rollins to their roster, but first he aims to cement his legacy on NXT as the greatest Champion ever, and tonight he will prove that his place is in this ring when he takes on and defeats one of the greatest of all time in William Regal. Rollins says that since he became the NXT Champion he has made two successful title defences, first defeating Michael McGillicutty in singles competition and secondly defeating William Regal, Percy Watson and Briley Pierce in a Fatal Four-Way match two weeks ago on NXT’s main event. Rollins says that he did not pin Regal in the Fatal Four-Way match but will make up for that by defeating him tonight. William Regal then comes to the ring and is quick to snatch the microphone out of Rollins’ hands. Regal says that this is the sort of disrespect that he has been complaining about. Regal says that young upstarts such as Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods think that success should be handed to them. Regal says that he had to work years before he earned his shot in the WWE, and that in tonight’s main event he will defeat Rollins and beat some respect into him. Rollins and Regal then go nose to nose in the centre of the ring before Regal backs down, smiling as he heads to the back and seemingly saving himself for the main event.
Rating: C

Derrick Bateman versus Briley Pierce
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Derrick Bateman defeated Briley Pierce in 8:05 by pinfall with a Crossbody. Briley Pierce is the younger brother of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, and due to Ziggler’s relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero many feel that it is only a matter of time until Briley Pierce is competing in front of the WWE Universe on either RAW or SmackDown! Briley Pierce was a backstage interviewer on NXT for several months before he made his in-ring debut two weeks ago on NXT in the evening’s Fatal Four-Way main event as he joined Percy Watson and William Regal in challenging Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship. Briley Pierce was pinned by Rollins in that match and also lost his next match as last week on NXT Rollins defeated Pierce in non-title action. On the same night that Pierce made his NXT debut Derrick Bateman returned to action as he defeated the tattooed Corey Graves, only for Graves to then tour with the RAW roster. Bateman may feel wronged that he was not given the opportunity to tour with the RAW roster and took his frustrations out on Pierce tonight, showing a more aggressive side and picking up the win after hitting a Crossbody from the top rope.
Match Rating: E+

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal
In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Seth Rollins defeated William Regal in 7:44 by pinfall with a Fade to Black. This was a great NXT non-title main event as the NXT Champion showed that he is capable of competing in the ring with veterans such as William Regal, and Rollins picked up perhaps one of the biggest victories of his career after hitting Regal with his trademark Fade to Black finishing manoeuvre.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Sin Cara versus David Otunga
Tonight’s main event on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying sensation Sin Cara in action as he will take on the only Harvard Law School graduate to ever compete in the WWE, David Otunga. Sin Cara is a very exciting Superstar and has impressed many since joining the WWE with his high flying antics on Friday Night SmackDown but he will face a stern test tonight in the form of the former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion David Otunga. Otunga previously held the WWE Tag Team Championships with John Cena, although their title reign was very short lived, and Otunga also had a spell as WWE Tag Team Champion with his former tag team partner Michael McGillicutty, and the pair managed to hold them from May to August of last year. Tonight’s Superstars main event is a rematch of two weeks ago on Superstars when Sin Cara defeated David Otunga, and Otunga would like nothing more than to gain revenge on Sin Cara by picking up an all-important victory tonight. Otunga was also in action in last week’s WWE Superstars main event but was again unsuccessful as he was defeated by the former World Heavyweight Champion Christian, who made his return to action earlier this month after spending several months on the sidelines with a shoulder injury suffered at the hands of the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Otunga is yet to pick up a victory in the month of October and he is unlikely to earn himself any sort of Championship opportunities with the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T or the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero unless he is able to start winning matches convincingly. Sin Cara has been competing primarily as a singles competitor for the past month or so after his mentor and tag team partner Rey Mysterio picked up an injury, one to his knee, which had previously been injured, in the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championships Number One Contenders tournament last month on an episode of RAW as Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio lost to the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars. Sin Cara has impressed in singles competition, however, although we last saw him on television defeating Otunga two weeks ago on Superstars. A few more wins for Sin Cara and he may find himself challenging for a title in the near future.

The Uso’s versus The Ascension
Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the twin brothers of Jimmy and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s, will be in action as they will take on the dark, mysterious and often terrifying team of the Ascension. The Ascension, comprised of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, have been competing in the WWE for the past few weeks after spending months terrifying the tag team division on NXT. Conor O’Brian is a big man, whilst Kenneth Cameron, from England, is also an athletic specimen but can also move quickly in the ring and is an expert at executing devastating kicks upon his opponents. In particular, the Ascension’s signature tag team finishing manoeuvre, known as the “Fall of Man” is dangerous as Conor O’Brian takes out the opponents legs from behind whilst Kenneth Cameron runs at the opponents face, hitting them with a spinning heel kick to the skull. The Ascension made their WWE television debut last week on WWE Superstars when they lost to the newly formed high-flying tandem of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu, and the Ascension will likely be desperate to bounce back from that defeat with a dominating and emphatic victory against the Uso’s tonight on Superstars. Whilst Jimmy and Jey Uso have competed in front of the WWE Universe for several years now, they are still yet to win their first WWE Tag Team Championships and although Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T has openly admitted in the past that he is a fan of the Uso’s, one would expect that it will take solid victories in order for Booker T or the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero to grant Jimmy and Jey a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships, currently held by the team of Daniel Bryan and Kane, known as Team Hell No. The Uso’s have not been victorious in a while as on Superstars three weeks ago they lost to the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, while the next night on SmackDown they lost to the 3MB duo of Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Last week on SmackDown the Uso’s lost to Slater and McIntyre again and will be hoping for a win tonight against the Ascension in what will be their first ever tag team meeting on WWE Superstars.

Alicia Fox versus Beth Phoenix
Finally, the Divas will be action tonight on WWE Superstars as the beautiful Alicia Fox will take on the powerful Beth Phoenix. At Survivor Series next month these Divas will be on opposing teams as Alicia will join Layla, Kelly Kelly and Tamina on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana. Both Alicia Fox and Beth Phoenix are former Divas Champions themselves having both held the title on one occasion each, with Alicia Divas Champion during the Summer of 2010 and Beth Phoenix holding the Divas title from last October to earlier this year, in late April. Beth Phoenix has been on a bit of a losing streak recently as she lost on Monday Night RAW to Kelly Kelly for three weeks in a row, which no doubt would have angered the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero who has had problems with Kelly recently.

Quick Picks:
Sin Cara versus David Otunga
The Uso’s versus The Ascension
Alicia Fox versus Beth Phoenix

WWE Superstars (Live from the Dothan Civic Center (AL), 3,100 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Kaitlyn versus Tenille Tayla
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Tenille Tayla in 18:27 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. Kaitlyn was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to pick up the victory against the newcomer Tenille Tayla.
Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Hunico and Camacho
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated Hunico & Camacho in 18:23 when Trent Barreta defeated Hunico by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. This match was too long given who was involved as although Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu have been successful since becoming a tag team they are still a newly formed team and are not known very well by the WWE Universe.
Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Leo Kruger
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Richie Steamboat defeated Leo Kruger in 17:34 by pinfall with a Flying Cross Body. This match was far too long given who was involved as although Steamboat and Kruger have been competing on NXT for several months they are not yet very well known by the WWE Universe.
Match Rating: E-

The Uso’s versus The Ascension
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, The Uso's defeated The Ascension in 7:50 when Jey Uso defeated Conor O'Brian by pinfall with an Alley-Us. The twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso showed excellent chemistry teaming together in this match which ultimately led to them picking up the all-important victory after Jey Uso pinned Conor O’Brian.
Match Rating: D

This week’s RAW rebound on WWE Superstars shows events from this past week’s Monday Night RAW as the show kicked off with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk proclaimed that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to once again successfully retain his WWE Championship. Brock Lesnar then joined Punk in the ring and the pair continued to show signs of an alignment, likely the brain child of Paul Heyman, who is associated with both Lesnar and the WWE Champion CM Punk. Lesnar boasted that at Survivor Series his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger would defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. CM Punk then announced that in RAW’s non-title main event he would take on a member of Team Jericho in Santino Marella. Later on in the evening John Cena came to the ring and the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship said that he could not get AJ Lee out of his head following the kiss that the former RAW General Manager AJ gave Cena last week on RAW. Cena once again promised that he would do everything in his power to get AJ Lee her job back as General Manager of RAW following her being stripped of the job due to the antics of the current RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. AJ then joined Cena in the ring and was quick to lead him to the back, telling him to not worry about her and Vickie Guerrero and instead to focus on his Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. Later on in the evening Santino Marella came to the ring for his main event match against the WWE Champion CM Punk only to be joined in the ring by Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie told Santino that at Survivor Series Team Jericho will be fighting for the WWE itself following Brock Lesnar breaking Triple H’s arm at Summerslam. Stephanie also said that she was unhappy with the way Vickie Guerrero is managing RAW and stayed at ringside for the evening’s main event, which saw the WWE Champion CM Punk pick up the win over Santino in non-title action.
Rating: B-

Alicia Fox versus Beth Phoenix
In an extremely short match, Alicia Fox defeated Beth Phoenix in 2:56 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Natalya accompanied Beth Phoenix to ringside for this match and the pair will join forces at Survivor Series along with Aksana and Kharma on the Divas Champion Eve’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Kaitlyn and her team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and Tamina.
Match Rating: D+

WWE Superstars then shows highlights from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown which began with Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez making his way to the ring. Del Rio proclaimed that at Survivor Series next month he and his team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, the Miz and Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will defeat Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as R-Truth in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Randy Orton’s music then played and Del Rio and Rodriguez both stared at the entrance-way awaiting the arrival of the WWE’s Apex Predator only for Orton to sneak in through the other side of the ring and hit Del Rio with an RKO, gaining a level of revenge on Del Rio following Del Rio’s attack on Orton the week before. In SmackDown’s non-title main event the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated the Miz. It is then announced that, due to a tweet sent out by SmackDown General Manager Booker T earlier today, tomorrow night’s SmackDown non-title main event will see the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus taking on Cody Rhodes.
Rating: B-

Sin Cara versus David Otunga
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sin Cara defeated David Otunga in 7:41 by pinfall with a La Mística. Natalya accompanied Otunga to ringside.
Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Team Rhodes Scholars
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Brodus & Riley in 12:54 when Cody Rhodes defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. Cody Rhodes in particular looked good tonight as he picked up the win for his team after pinning Alex Riley. Rhodes will need to be on his game in order to help Team Del Rio to victory at Survivor Series.
Match Rating: D

Post-Show: Ezekiel versus Johnny Curtis
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Johnny Curtis defeated Ezekiel in 13:02 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop. Kaitlyn accompanied Ezekiel Jackson to ringside for this one.
Match Rating: D-

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus Cody Rhodes
Next month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Sheamus will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Big Show for the second time after Sheamus defeated the Big Show earlier this month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to retain his World title in his first ever match against the Big Show. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will be in action in the evening’s non-title main event as he will take on Cody Rhodes in a match announced yesterday by a tweet sent out from the SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Cody Rhodes will also be in action next month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as he will team with his tag team partner Damien Sandow, the tag team collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the Miz and Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler on Alberto Del Rio’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as R-Truth. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus has been almost unstoppable as of late as he continues his lengthy reign as World Heavyweight Champion following his title win which came back in April at Wrestlemania as he defeated the former World Champion Daniel Bryan in less than twenty seconds to become the new World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time. The World Champion Sheamus is yet to lose a match in October and since defeating the Big Show at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to retain his World title he has won two non-title SmackDown main events in a row as two weeks ago on SmackDown he defeated the former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and last week on SmackDown Sheamus defeated another of Del Rio’s team mates at Survivor Series, the former Intercontinental Champion the Miz, in the evening’s non-title main event. Sheamus will face another stern test tonight in the form of the former two-time Intercontinental Champion and former four-time WWE Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus The Ascension
The reigning WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, the term affectionately known as Team Hell No by the WWE Universe, will be in non-title action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, known as the Ascension. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month Team Hell No will join forces with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as R-Truth on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, known as Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the Miz and the SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Tonight will be the very first time that Kane and Daniel Bryan will ever have faced the Ascension although the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No are on a roll at the moment having won all of their matches thus far in the month of October.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston versus The Miz
The WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on the man that he defeated to win the title back at the end of September in the Miz. Both Kingston and the Miz will also be opponents at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View next month as Kofi Kingston will team with R-Truth as well as the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, the Miz and SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler.

R-Truth versus Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler
Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will also be in action tonight on SmackDown as he will take on R-Truth. At Survivor Series Ziggler will team with Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, as well as the Miz on Alberto Del Rio’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as R-Truth.

Christian versus Mark Henry
The “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry will make his return to action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown following several months on the sidelines as he will take on the former World Heavyweight Champion Christian. Mark Henry is a former World Heavyweight Champion himself having held the title from September of last year until last December when he was defeated by the Big Show. Christian held the World title on two occasions last Summer as he won it in May only to lose it to Randy Orton and then won the title back from Orton last July only to lose it again in August.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Kaitlyn
Finally, the Divas will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the Divas Champion Eve will take on Kaitlyn in non-title action. At Survivor Series Eve will lead the team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana against Kaitlyn and her team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus Cody Rhodes
Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus The Ascension
Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston versus The Miz
R-Truth versus Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler
Christian versus Mark Henry
Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Kaitlyn

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Stan Sheriff Center (HI), 9,902 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Tamina versus Natalya
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Tamina defeated Natalya in 18:22 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. Tamina was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to pick up the victory over one of her Survivor Series opponents.
Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: The Uso’s versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Slater & McIntyre defeated The Uso's in 18:06 when Heath Slater defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso showed excellent chemistry teaming together but that was not enough to get them the victory on this occasion as the 3MB pairing of Slater and McIntyre won after Slater pinned Jimmy Uso after McIntyre had hit him with a Futureshock DDT.
Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Sin Cara versus David Otunga
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sin Cara defeated David Otunga in 17:34 by pinfall with a La Mística. Natalya accompanied Otunga to ringside for this match.

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the “Viper” Randy Orton making his way to the ring. Orton takes a microphone and claims that at Survivor Series his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth will defeat Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Orton also says that he will be watching tonight’s non-title main event very closely as the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will take on a member of Team Del Rio in Cody Rhodes. Orton reminds the WWE Universe that last week on SmackDown he hit Del Rio with an RKO and he is happy to hand out another tonight if Del Rio tries to interfere in the main event. Alberto Del Rio then comes to the ring with his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio is quick to push Rodriguez into Orton, distracting the Apex Predator for a split second and allowing Del Rio to hit Orton in the back of the head with an Enzuiguri. Del Rio and Rodriguez then both quickly flee the ring and head to the back, leaving Orton looking furious in the ring as we cut to a commercial break.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston versus The Miz
In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz in 8:23 by pinfall with a Trouble in Paradise. It appears that Kofi has the Miz’s number after beating him last month to win the Intercontinental Championship. These two will be on opposing teams at Survivor Series.
Match Rating: B-

Sheamus thanks Orton and the pair shake hands before Orton leaves Sheamus to continue his preparations.
Rating: B

Rating: B+

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus Cody Rhodes

Monday, Week 1, November, 2012

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Zack Ryder
Later this month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View the WWE Champion CM Punk will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Last Man Standing match against John Cena, but before that Punk will be in action in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event as Punk will take on the “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder. The “Woo Woo Woo Kid” Zack Ryder will also be in action at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month as he will join his “Team CoBro” tag team partner Santino Marella, the welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan as well as the seemingly unstoppable beast known as Ryback on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, the dangerous Kassius Ohno, Tensai as well as the “All American American” Jack Swagger. CM Punk seems to be aligned with Brock Lesnar at the moment, perhaps due to the association that both Punk and Lesnar have with the dastardly and devious Paul Heyman, and Lesnar would likely want nothing more than for CM Punk, the WWE Champion, to injure Zack Ryder tonight ahead of Team Lesnar’s clash with Team Jericho at Survivor Series. Tonight won’t be an easy match for CM Punk though, as Zack Ryder is a former WWE Tag Team Champion and also held the WWE United States Championship last year as he won it last December from Friday Night SmackDown’s current Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler only to lose the title in controversial circumstances in January of this year to one of his opponents at Survivor Series in the “All American American” Jack Swagger. Zack Ryder has not been too successful on Monday Night RAW as of late as last week on RAW he lost to a member of Brock Lesnar’s team at Survivor Series in Tensai and for the two weeks prior to that he teamed with his Team CoBro tag team partner Santino Marella to take on the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro and his new found Kings of Wrestling tag team partner Kassius Ohno, only for Santino and Ryder to lose on both occasions. CM Punk, meanwhile, has been very successful as of late and Survivor Series will mark the one year anniversary of Punk’s WWE Championship reign as he won the title from Alberto Del Rio at last year’s Survivor Series to begin his third reign as WWE Champion. CM Punk went the entire month of October without losing a match and will hope to get a winning start to November tonight.

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will be in action as he will team with Kassius Ohno once again to take on the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley. Both Cesaro and Ohno tweeted a few weeks ago that their tag team is known as the Kings of Wrestling and they will also both be on the same team at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month when Cesaro and Ohno will join Tensai and Jack Swagger on Brock Lesnar’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback. Cesaro has held the US title since defeating the former Champion Santino Marella on the night of Summerslam and will look to gain another victory in tag team action tonight.

Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty
At Survivor Series Ryback and Mason Ryan will join Santino Marella and Zack Ryder on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger, but before that Ryback and Mason Ryan will team up on Monday Night RAW to take on the team of JTG and Michael McGillicutty.

Chris Jericho versus Tensai
Chris Jericho will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Tensai, one of Jericho’s opponents at Survivor Series as Jericho will lead the team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger.

Santino Marella versus Jack Swagger
Speaking of Jack Swagger, the “All American American” will be on action tonight on Monday Night RAW against Santino Marella, who will be one of his opponents at Survivor Series when Chris Jericho’s team of Santino, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback will take on Brock Lesnar’s team of the US Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Swagger in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma
Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see Kelly Kelly take on Kharma, and these two will also be opponents at Survivor Series when Kaitlyn will lead the team of Layla, Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Aksana. Kharma is yet to hold the Divas Championship only recently having returned to action following a lay-off, but Kharma can be destructive and the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero would surely love to see Kharma destroy Kelly tonight following Vickie’s recent confrontations with Kelly. This is a rematch from last week’s RAW when Kelly was able to defeat Kharma.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Zack Ryder
US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty
Chris Jericho versus Tensai
Santino Marella versus Jack Swagger
Kelly Kelly versus Kharma

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Stan Sheriff Center (HI), 9,570 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Tyler Reks
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Tyler Reks defeated Richie Steamboat in 17:47 by pinfall with a Burning Hammer. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved, as the WWE Universe still do not know much about Richie Steamboat despite his time on NXT.
Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: The Road Dogg versus Curt Hawkins
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated The Road Dogg in 18:13 by pinfall with a Flying Elbow Drop. The Road Dogg was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which ultimately led to Hawkins picking up the win.
Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: John Cena versus Dean Ambrose
In a bout that featured great action and average heat, John Cena defeated Dean Ambrose in 18:26 by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment. This match was too long given who was involved, as the WWE Universe do not know much about Ambrose.
Match Rating: B-

Monday Night RAW begins as it so often does, by the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring, and Punk is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area. Punk says that later this month at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to once again retain his WWE Championship. Punk says that whilst Cena is involved with AJ Lee and fighting against the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Punk is focused on retaining his title. Punk says that he will continue to show just how focused he is when he defeats Zack Ryder in tonight’s non-title main event. CM Punk is then joined in the ring by his recent associate Brock Lesnar, and the pair shake hands. Punk hands Lesnar the microphone and the “Baddest Man on the Planet” proclaims that at Survivor Series he and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger will defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Lesnar says that in recent weeks we’ve learnt that Bret Hart, Mr. McMahon and Stephanie McMahon are all pulling for Jericho’s team to pick up the win at Survivor Series as they’re fighting for the WWE itself, but Lesnar doesn’t care. Brock turns to Punk and says that in recent weeks Punk has defeated several of Jericho’s team mates, and that he’s sure Punk will do the same tonight. Punk and Lesnar then leave the ring together.
Rating: B+

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Kharma in 8:13 by pinfall with a K2. These two will be opponents at Survivor Series as Kelly will be on Kaitlyn’s team whilst Kharma will be on the Divas Champion Eve’s team.
Match Rating: C+

Following Kelly Kelly’s victory she takes a microphone and says that at Survivor Series Kaitlyn’s team of Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox will defeat the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Aksana. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero then comes to the ring and tells Kelly that her team don’t stand a chance at Survivor Series. Beth Phoenix and Natalya then come to the ring and the pair bears down upon Kelly until AJ Lee then rushes to the ring and once again her tempers get the better of her as she brawls with Vickie Guerrero. AJ and Kelly then leave the ring leaving Vickie, Kharma, Beth and Natalya looking very angry.
Rating: C+

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Kings of Wrestling in 7:36 when Brodus Clay defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall. Cesaro and Ohno showed excellent chemistry teaming together but that was not enough to get the victory on this occasion as Brodus pinned Ohno to gain his team the win. However the chemistry of Cesaro and Ohno may be important for Team Lesnar at Survivor Series.
Match Rating: C-

John Cena comes to the ring and says that later this month at Survivor Series he intends to defeat CM Punk in their Last Man Standing match to become the new WWE Champion. However, Cena says that tonight he is here to talk about AJ Lee. AJ then joins Cena in the ring and Cena says that he wants to help AJ get her job back but assaulting the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero like she did earlier isn’t doing her any favours. AJ tells Cena what she’s told him for the last few weeks, not to worry about her and to instead focus on Punk at Survivor Series. AJ then takes Cena’s hand and leads him to the back.
Rating: C+

Chris Jericho versus Tensai
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Jericho defeated Tensai in 7:41 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. Chris Jericho will lead a team at Survivor Series in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team which contains Tensai.
Match Rating: B-

We cut backstage to find Paul Heyman outside the locker-room of the WWE Champion CM Punk looking into the camera. Heyman says that Punk will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match at Survivor Series to retain his WWE Championship.
Rating: B+

Santino Marella versus Jack Swagger
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger in 7:35 by pinfall with The Cobra. Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero accompanied Swagger to ringside.
Match Rating: C+

Following Santino’s victory over Jack Swagger the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero rushes into the ring and slaps Santino across the face. Swagger then begins to beat down Santino and is soon joined in the ring by Brock Lesnar and two more of his team mates at Survivor Series in the US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. Lesnar, Swagger, Cesaro and Ohno assault Santino until Chris Jericho and his team mate Zack Ryder rush to the ring to make the save. Trish Stratus also rushes to the ring and slaps Vickie Guerrero. A brawl erupts before Lesnar’s team head to the back, leaving Jericho, Ryder and Trish to help Santino to his feet, albeit gingerly.
Rating: B-

Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Mason Ryan and Ryback defeated JTG & McGillicutty in 7:40 when Ryback defeated JTG by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole use this match to discuss how important the strength of Ryback and Mason Ryan will be for Jericho’s team at Survivor Series.
Match Rating: C-

Mick Foley comes to the ring, to adulation from the WWE Universe. Foley says that he is going to stay at ringside during tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event so as to stop any Team Lesnar members interfering.
Rating: B

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Zack Ryder
In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, CM Punk defeated Zack Ryder in 8:04 by pinfall with a Go To Sleep. CM Punk and Zack Ryder have pretty good chemistry as opponents, and it lifted the match.

Rating: F

Backstage Fallout: The former Monday Night RAW General Manager AJ Lee is backstage when Corey Graves walks up to her and tells her to forget about John Cena as she should be with a real man. AJ walks off, clearly looking disgusted.
Rating: D

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus Briley Pierce
Tonight’s NXT main event will see the reigning NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action as he will take on Briley Pierce in a non-title match. Seth Rollins is the current NXT Champion having become the first ever NXT Champion when he defeated 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the finals of the Gold Rush tournament several months ago to become the first ever NXT Champion. Since winning the title Rollins has made two successful title defences, the first being a singles victory over the Third Generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty at the end of September and three weeks ago on NXT Rollins made the second successful defence of the NXT Championship as he defeated Briley Pierce, Percy Watson and the veteran William Regal in the evening’s Fatal Four-Way main event to successfully retain his title. The man that Rollins pinned in the Fatal Four-Way match three weeks ago to retain the NXT title was Briley Pierce, who was competing in his debut match having previously just been a backstage interviewer on NXT. Briley Pierce is the younger brother of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler and many feel that due to Ziggler’s relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Pierce is likely to be fast-tracked into gaining a position on the RAW roster. As always, the higher ups in the WWE will be paying close attention to the evening’s NXT main event, including Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Pierce is yet to pick up his first victory on NXT and the NXT Universe seem to have taken a disliking to Briley Pierce due to his tendencies to show off in the ring, a character trait that he has seemingly learned from his older brother Ziggler. It was Briley Pierce’s showing off that led to him getting pinned in the title Fatal Four-Way match three weeks ago, and Pierce’s first singles match came two weeks ago on NXT when he lost to the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in non-title action. Pierce will therefore have a third opportunity to attempt to defeat Rollins tonight. Despite getting pinned by Rollins two weeks in a row, the NXT Commissioner, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes gave Rollins another match last week on NXT against Derrick Bateman, but once again Pierce failed to pick up the all-important win as Bateman pinned Pierce after hitting him with a Crossbody from the top rope. Seth Rollins, on the other hand, has been on a roll on NXT and was victorious in last week’s non-title main event as he defeated the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Earlier in the evening last week Rollins had a confrontation with Regal in which Regal disrespected Rollins, claiming that he hadn’t yet achieved anything in the business and therefore did not deserve his respect. However, with Rollins victory over Regal last week he may have earned Regal’s respect. Seth Rollins won every match on NXT that he competed in during the month of October and the NXT Champion will hope to get a winning start to November tonight.

Xavier Woods versus William Regal
The veteran from Blackpool, England, a man who has held over twenty Championships in the WWE and is used to appearing on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown will also be in action tonight as William Regal will take on Xavier Woods in singles competition. Last month on NXT in Xavier Woods’ debut appearance he was insulted by William Regal who claimed that he was returning to in-ring competition following several months of commentating on NXT because he was fed up of seeing youngsters such as Xavier Woods feel that they deserve breaks in the industry despite, in Regal’s opinion, having done little to earn them. Regal also claimed that he was fed up of working with Byron Saxton, which means that Saxton is now commentating by himself on NXT. Regal slapped Xavier Woods last month and then defeated him in what was Woods debut match in front of the NXT Universe. Tonight on NXT the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes has given Xavier Woods another opportunity to take on Regal and try to earn his respect. Three weeks ago on NXT Woods asked Regal for the rematch he is finally getting tonight but Regal rejected Woods request as he would be challenging for the NXT Championship in the evening’s Fatal Four-Way main event along with Percy Watson and Briley Pierce, but Xavier Woods will finally get his rematch tonight.

Maxine versus Caylee Turner
Finally, the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes has made a Divas match for tonight’s episode of NXT as the bitchy man eater known as Maxine will take on Caylee Turner, who is the younger Sister of the former Divas Champion often seen on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, Alicia Fox. Maxine will likely be in a bad mood tonight on NXT after losing to Naomi last week in the show’s opening contest. Prior to last week, Naomi, the former Funkadaktyll of Brodus Clay, had failed to pick up a win on NXT but the former professional dancer Naomi was able to use her athletic skills to defeat Maxine last week, in the process picking up her first ever victory since deciding that she wanted to train to become an in-ring competitor. Both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T are always looking for Divas to bolster the WWE Divas division, and a win for either Maxine or Caylee tonight on NXT could go a long way towards an eventual chance in the WWE.

Quick Picks:
Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus Briley Pierce
Xavier Woods versus William Regal
Maxine versus Caylee Turner

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)
