The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio
The main event of tonight´s edition of WWE Superstars will see the World´s Strongest Man in action as he will take on another former World Champion in Alberto Del Rio in what should be a great main event. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Mark Henry failed to defeat the WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in their Stairs match as Ziggler retained the Intercontinental title. Mark Henry will therefore be hoping to get back to winning ways by picking up the all-important victory over Del Rio tonight.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
Also tonight on WWE Superstars the WWE Universe will witness tag team action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will take on Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen, known as “Team Gorgeous”. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Roman Reigns and William Regal in a Ladder match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships and both of these teams would love to be the next in line for a title opportunity.

Kelly Kelly versus Maxine
Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly take on Maxine. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View AJ Lee beat Paige to win back the Divas Championship and both Kelly and Maxine will be looking to impress tonight to potentially be the first in line to challenge AJ for the title.

Quick Picks:
Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio
Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
Kelly Kelly versus Maxine

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE Superstars (Live from Boone County Fairgrounds (IA), 1,050 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Hailey Hatred versus Nicole Matthews
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Hailey Hatred defeated Nicole Matthews in 17:43 by submission with a Cattle Mutilation. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe still not really caring about either of these Divas despite Hailey Hatred having competed in several matches on Friday Night SmackDown recently. Ultimately, Hailey Hatred is able to get the all-important victory here in a match that goes the distance.
Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Jordan & Dillinger in 18:17 when Sami Zayn defeated Tye Dillinger by pinfall with a Red White & Blue Thunder Bomb. The Godfather accompanied the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima to ringside for this match and supported the team the WWE Universe refer to as “International Explosion” with vocal instructions as well as cheerleading throughout the match which may have been what led to Zayn and Nakajima getting the win.
Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Colin Cassady
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Colin Cassady in 17:47 by pinfall with a BulPlex. Alexander Rusev was really off his game tonight but was still able to get the win over Colin Cassady.
Match Rating: F-

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Team Gorgeous defeated Brodus & Riley in 7:10 when Tyler Breeze defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Beauty Shot. Brodus Clay was really off his game tonight which led to the “Team Gorgeous” pairing of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen singling out Brodus for the majority of the match, unwilling to let him tag Alex Riley. Eventually Brodus was able to get Riley into the match only for Riley to be hit by the Beauty Shot from Tyler Breeze which led to Breeze pinning Riley to pick up the win for his team.
Match Rating: E+

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the new and first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. Lesnar was not accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman as he retrieved a microphone to address the WWE Universe and proclaim that this past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View he beat the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show in their Tables, Ladders and Chairs match by climbing a ladder and retrieving both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship and as such is now the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar said that after John Cena beat Kane on Sunday in a Number One Contenders match, Lesnar would be looking forward to beating Cena. Kane then came to the ring and said that he had been informed by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that as Cena cheated to beat Kane and also disrespected Vickie, Kane will be the one to be given the first title shot. Paul Heyman then came to the ring and ordered Lesnar to attack Kane until Sheamus rushed to the ring to make the save. The United States Champion Sheamus told Lesnar he’d see him in RAW’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event. Later on in the evening Kane attacked Cena backstage before Kane and Dean Ambrose teamed up to defeat the Kings of Wrestling pairing of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno.
Rating: C

Further highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW including the Divas Champion AJ Lee teaming up with Ayako Hamada to defeat the team of Audrey Marie and Mia Yim as well as Seth Rollins defeating Chris Jericho only for the Rock to make his way to the ring following the match and telling Rollins that he may be good but it takes more than good to win the 30 Man Royal Rumble match, which the commentators had earlier announced that Rollins will be taking part in next month. A WWE.com exclusive video is then shown from after RAW went off the air with Jo Jo approaching Audrey Marie backstage and asking her why she hasn’t been returning her calls which leads to Audrey Marie slapping Jo Jo before calmly walking away.
Rating: D

Our final portion of highlights from Monday Night RAW are shown including the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero coming to the entrance-way and telling the WWE Universe that everything that is happening to John Cena is his fault. Before the main event, Sheamus flirted with Emma backstage who wished him luck heading into RAW’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event. In the main event the new and first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar defeated the United States Champion Sheamus.
Rating: C-

Kelly Kelly versus Maxine
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Maxine defeated Kelly Kelly in 5:55 by pinfall. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these Divas would love to challenge for the Divas title at some point in the future.
Match Rating: D-

Highlights are shown from this past Sunday’s TLC Pay-Per-View including Dolph Ziggler defeating Mark Henry in a Stairs match to retain the Intercontinental title and Big Show losing the main event Tables, Ladders and Chairs match to Brock Lesnar. A tweet is then shown from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announcing that tomorrow night’s main event will see Ziggler put the Intercontinental title on the line against Jimmy Uso.
Rating: C+

Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio
In a match that had some good action and average heat, Mark Henry defeated Alberto Del Rio in 12:36 by submission with a Bear Hug. The commentary team note that Henry needed this win after losing on Sunday.
Match Rating: C-

Post-Show: Yoshi Tatsu versus Angelo Dawkins
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Angelo Dawkins defeated Yoshi Tatsu in 12:44 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Dawkins wrestle.
Match Rating: F+

Post-Show: Braden Walker versus Danny Burch
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Braden Walker defeated Danny Burch in 13:26 by pinfall with a Spear. This match unfortunately needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.
Match Rating: E-

Final Show Rating: C-

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Jimmy Uso
The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Dolph Ziggler put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jimmy Uso. This past Sunday at the TLC Pay-Per-View Dolph Ziggler defeated Mark Henry in a Stairs match in which the steel stairs were legal to be used as weapons, with Ziggler making the first successful defence of his WWE Intercontinental Championship. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight should be fully behind Jimmy Uso in this one as he looks to pick up the all-important victory and become a singles Champion for the very first time. Jimmy’s brother Jey will also be likely to be cheering on his twin brother tonight in SmackDown’s main event. Ziggler became the Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career last month on SmackDown when he defeated the former Champion Big E Langston and the Cocky Dolph Ziggler will be hoping to make his second successful title defence tonight on the last ever episode of Friday Night SmackDown this year.

Monday, Week 1, January, 2014

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: Steel Cage Match: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose
The main event of the first episode of Monday Night RAW of 2014 tonight will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar take on Dean Ambrose in a non-title Steel Cage match. This match can be won via pinfall, submission or escaping the cage either through the door or over the top of the structure. Last week on Monday Night RAW the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar came to the ring without his advocate Paul Heyman to boast of his accomplishment og becoming the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion only to be interrupted by Kane, who informed Lesnar that he had been told by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero that he will be challenging Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman then came to the ring and ordered Lesnar to attack Kane until the United States Champion Sheamus came to the ring. Lesnar’s opponent tonight, Dean Ambrose, has been a friend and tag team partner of Kane for the past few months and an all-important victory for Ambrose tonight could do wonders for his career.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus The Wyatt Family
Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in action as they will face the Wyatt Family of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Rob Van Dam versus John Cena
John Cena had a rough week last week on Monday Night RAW as he was informed that despite beating Kane in a Number One Contenders match, he had lost his opportunity to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to his cheap victory as well as disrespecting the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Cena looks to bounce back as he takes on Rob Van Dam tonight.

CM Punk versus Roman Reigns
The former WWE Champion CM Punk will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Roman Reigns. Last week on RAW we learnt that Punk will be taking part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the “Big Red Monster”, the masked Kane, making his way to the ring. Kane receives a great reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Kane says that this is the start of a new year, and that this year is going to be the year of the monster. Kane says that in just a few weeks at the Royal Rumble he will defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and that if Lesnar’s so called associate Paul Heyman gets in his way, he will send Heyman straight to hell. Kane continues by noting that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has made a Steel Cage match for tonight’s main event with Brock Lesnar taking on Dean Ambrose in a non-title match. Kane says that he has become somewhat of an ally of Ambrose in recent months and sees the same deranged mind in Ambrose that Kane possesses. Kane says that he is aware that everything is against Ambrose tonight but that he is confident his friend can pull something out of his bag of tricks. Brock Lesnar then rushes into the ring and sneaks up behind Kane and hits him with an F5. Lesnar then takes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from around his waist and holds it high above the fallen Number One Contender with a smile on his face. Lesnar has delivered a message to Kane here tonight without needing Heyman.

We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Alberto Del Rio will be taking part in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match and as a former winner Del Rio has to be one of the favourites heading into the Royal Rumble match. Mark Henry defeated Del Rio last week and will be looking to pick up the all-important victory again tonight.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will face the duo of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen, otherwise known as “Team Gorgeous”. These two teams faced off last week on Superstars with Team Gorgeous getting the victory and another win for Breeze and Madsen tonight could well earn them a future shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Kelly Kelly versus Layla
Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly in action against Layla. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Paige will challenge AJ Lee for the Divas title at the Royal Rumble.

Quick Picks:
Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio
Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
Kelly Kelly versus Layla

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE Superstars (Live from Kingsport Civic Auditorium (TN), 1,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Ayako Hamada versus Audrey Marie
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Audrey Marie defeated Ayako Hamada in 18:05 by pinfall with a Round Up. Just as this past week on Monday Night RAW, Rain accompanied the “Original Diva” Audrey Marie to the ring for her match against Audrey Marie. Rain offered plenty of vocal support as well as shrieking at ringside which may have been what led to Audrey picking up the all-important victory here in a match that went the distance.
Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Hunico & Camacho in 18:25 when Sami Zayn defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Red White & Blue Thunder Bomb. The Godfather accompanied the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, otherwise known as “International Explosion”, to ringside for this tag team match much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. The Godfather offered vocal support at ringside which may have been enough to spur on Zayn and Nakajima as they picked up the victory.
Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Danny Burch
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Danny Burch in 18:29 by pinfall with a BulPlex. Unfortunately the crowd were totally turned off by this match with the WWE Universe not caring about either “Superstar”.
Match Rating: F-

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Team Gorgeous defeated Brodus & Riley in 7:01 when Tyler Breeze defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Beauty Shot. Tyler Breeze was really off his game tonight which led to the more experienced team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley singling out Tyler Breeze for the majority of this match until Tyler Breeze was finally able to get the tag to Knuckles Madsen who cleaned house before tagging Breeze back in to hit Riley with the Beauty Shot and win the match for his team.
Match Rating: D-

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as the show began with the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Kane making his way to the ring. Kane received a positive reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieved a microphone from the ringside area. Kane proclaimed that later this month at the Royal Rumble he will defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and that if Lesnar’s “advocate” Paul Heyman tries to get in his way then Kane will send him straight to hell. Kane also noted that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero had made a non-title Steel Cage main event match for RAW with Brock Lesnar taking on a friend and tag team partner of Kane, Dean Ambrose. Kane said that he believed in Ambrose and that he had what it takes to beat Lesnar in the main event. Brock Lesnar then rushed up into the ring and sneaked behind Kane before dropping Kane with an F5. Many members of the WWE Universe don’t seem to believe that Kane stands a chance at beating Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.
Rating: C-

Kelly Kelly versus Layla
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Layla defeated Kelly Kelly in 5:59 by pinfall with a Face Lift. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these Divas would love the opportunity to challenge for the Divas Championship again at some point in the future.
Match Rating: D-

Further highlights of this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW are shown with the wife of the Chief Operating Officer Triple H, Stephanie McMahon making her way to the ring. Stephanie told the WWE Universe how later this month at the Royal Rumble 30 Superstars will compete in the Royal Rumble match and the winner will go on to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania. Seth Rollins then made his way to the ring and told Stephanie that everybody knows that he will be the one to win the Royal Rumble match and go on to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania.
Rating: C+

More highlights are shown from Monday Night RAW including Dean Ambrose preparing backstage for RAW’s steel cage non-title main event against Brock Lesnar when Lesnar entered the room and told Ambrose that he would hurt him in the main event. Later on in the evening Dean Ambrose looked into a camera backstage and proclaimed that he would beat Lesnar before going on to win the Royal Rumble match. In RAW’s non-title Steel Cage main event match Brock Lesnar defeated Dean Ambrose as Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman looked on at ringside.
Rating: E+

Highlights are shown from this past week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown including Jimmy and Jey Uso discussing Jimmy’s main event match before Dolph Ziggler beat Jimmy in the main event to retain the Intercontinental title. A tweet is then shown from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announcing that tomorrow night’s main event will see Ziggler put the title on the line against Jey Uso.
Rating: D+

Mark Henry versus Alberto Del Rio
In a match that had some good action and average heat, Mark Henry defeated Alberto Del Rio in 12:49 by submission with a Bear Hug. The commentary team note that both of these Superstars will be taking part in the Royal Rumble match.
Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Braden Walker versus Angelo Dawkins
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Angelo Dawkins defeated Braden Walker in 12:35 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Dawkins wrestle.
Match Rating: F+

Post-Show: Trent Barreta versus Troy McClain
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Troy McClain defeated Trent Barreta in 13:08 by submission. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe not caring about Troy McClain.
Match Rating: F+

Final Show Rating: C-

Friday, Week 1, January, 2013

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Jey Uso
The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Dolph Ziggler put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jey Uso. Last week on SmackDown Ziggler retained the Intercontinental title against Jey’s twin brother Jimmy in the evening’s main event, and tonight the WWE Universe will witness the other half of the Uso’s, Jey, attempt to win tag team gold for the first time in his career. Last week on SmackDown we saw Jimmy and Jey backstage discussing their ultimate goal of proving that they deserve a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships more than the Prime Time Players of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, but if Jey is somehow able to beat Ziggler tonight then they may go down the path of singles careers. The Cocky Dolph Ziggler is holding the Intercontinental Champion for the second time in his career and his current reign began back in November of last year when he defeated the former Champion Big E Langston. Ziggler will be hoping to pick up another all-important victory in what will be his third title defence tonight.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Rhodes Dynasty versus Prime Time Players
We will witness tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust, collectively known as the Rhodes Dynasty, will take on the Prime Time Players of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil in a non-title match. The WWE Universe should be fully behind Cody and Goldust in this one as the Prime Time Players look to pick up a victory that could lead to them getting a future title opportunity.

Ryback versus Damien Sandow
Also tonight on the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown of the new year we will see Ryback take on Damien Sandow. Last week Sandow picked up a victory over R-Truth and we learnt that he will be taking part in the Royal Rumble match later this month.

Rey Mysterio versus Fandango
Rey Mysterio, a former Royal Rumble match winner, will also be taking part in this year’s 30 man Royal Rumble match later this month but before then Mysterio will face Fandango tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

R-Truth versus Curtis Axel
We learnt last week on Friday Night SmackDown that R-Truth will be taking part in this year’s 30 man Royal Rumble match and tonight R-Truth will look to build momentum heading into the Royal Rumble as he takes on Curtis Axel.

Bayley and Christina Von Eerie versus Paige and Rosa Mendes
Finally, tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Bayley and Christina Von Eerie team up to take on Paige and Rosa Mendes. Later this month at the Royal Rumble Paige will challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship and a victory in tag team action tonight on SmackDown will do no harm for Paige’s momentum heading into her title match. The WWE Universe have taken to Bayley since her debut and she will team with Christina Von Eerie for the first time tonight.

Quick Picks:
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Jey Uso
Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Rhodes Dynasty versus Prime Time Players
Ryback versus Damien Sandow
Rey Mysterio versus Fandango
R-Truth versus Curtis Axel
Bayley and Christina Von Eerie versus Paige and Rosa Mendes

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)
