And like, does it have sibling channels for specific discussion of specific games? (like, one for the TEW/WreSpi/WMMA series, one for Fast Break, etc.)

there isn't an official one, as far as I know.

On Quakenet there's #tew, but most people who go in there are looking for other things with the initials TEW, and there's no bot or anything.

Well it's there, waiting to be joined. We need at least 5 people in the channel to be able to invite Q (the bot) and make it an 'official' channel that doesn't disappear when it's empty, can have a topic, etc.

So I've been noticing lately that loads of people join for literally a minute or two, see that I'm the only one there, and immediately leave without saying anything.

Now, glossing over for a moment what that says about me (thanks, guys ), it also means that the likelihood of any two people being online at the same time is ridiculously small. It's like going to a pub to meet a friend, walking in one door, not seeing him so walking out the other door.

Thus, I have devised a plan: we'll have a scheduled live chat on Sunday, September 2nd at 9pm, UK time.

That's:
4pm Sunday in New York
1pm Sunday in Los Angeles
10pm Sunday in Prague
6am Monday in Sydney (sorry guys! Hopefully we'll still be around when you wake up?)

Nothing official or anything, just an idea to get more than two people in the chat at the same time.

We've already managed the Q bot, thanks to the help of Tiberious, djfunkthechris and some randomer I kidnapped from the Guild Wars 2 channel. ¬_¬ So the channel will always be there whenever we want it. Like tonight for instance, right guys?
