Women's division in your madhouse WCW sounds like some good fun!

I'll totally dig a women's division in WCW, since you've got so many people ready already. I'm excited to see how you turn it into crash TV though. My guess - Buff Bagwell is the special ref for every match.

And, hey, it's John!

Default I love HCTP...

Current Standings

1. Beejus - 19
2. Crackerjack - 18
3. Destiny - 16

Can you dig that Latino Heat, mamacita?
  1. Psicosis (c) vs. Dr. Wagner Jr - WCW Cruiserweight championship match
  2. Arian Brotherhood (Berlyn, Jacob and Wilhelm) vs. Latin American Xchange (Homicide, Hernandez and Konnan)
  3. Crowbar vs. Triple H
  4. CM Punk and Hertha vs. Lita and Rey Mysterio Jr
  5. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Meng
  6. Booker T vs. Eddie Guerrero
  7. Sid Vicious vs. Sting
It's a decent enough card for Thursday. Bret Hart will be present too, but not in his regular capacity. DDP will try and get back the briefcase from Meng the guardian, could be spicy. Booker and Eddie clash in the semi-main event, it will be a highlight of the show for sure. Plus Sid and Stinger, two disturbed longstays in the uppercard take the main spot. Who you got, boys?

Default WCW Thursday Thunder on TBS (Show #83)

Week 1, October 2000
River Centre, Mid West (13,836)

The first thing we see is Sting walking down the dark corridor. He's whistling a tune and swinging his bat, when suddenly... Sid Vicious charges at "The Icon"!! Sid throws Sting in the garage door a couple of times and stomps on the loner. "They say I'm stupid, but I found you when others could not! Before Triple H and that goddam Ric Flair! Who's stupid now?" Sid starts laughing maniacally with Sting holding on to an open gash on the back of his head. Bobby Heenan thinks Sid is jealous that Stinger could beat Flair for the title match in the future. Triple H was right when he said that Sting doesn't have anyone on his side, he's an easy target. Not that long ago Sting and Sid were fighting shoulder to shoulder, but they both didn't cope with rough patches in their careers too well. Things are looking up for Stinger though, but if you look at "The Icon" now, you wouldn't think that.

After a Thunder intro announcers run through match card. Tenay takes a minute to explain that a lot of WCW wrestlers are currently overseas, working for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Every single member of The Revolution, and also the likes of Jushin Liger, Ken Shamrock, Juventud Guerrera, Road Warriors and many more! After some bickering between Brain and Schiavone we get an entrance from Psicosis. The cruiserweight champion grabs the microphone and cuts a promo on spanish... Tenay then acts like a translator, revealing the message from Psicosis.

The cruisereight champion feels enpowered and revatilized, he is the best man in the division right now. Liger, Juventud, Kidman... all of them are missing, but even if they were here, the championship would stay on Psicosis. Title doesn't make the man - man makes the title, and that's why he is standing in the middle of the ring right now, ready to fight a tough competitor and a made man in Mexico... Dr. Wagner Jr! "Bad Doctor" gets in the ring and puts his hand on the title. He came to WCW to take names and win games, and he has a good opportunity to prove how tough he really is.

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Psicosis defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in 8:43 by pinfall with a Psycho Guillotine. Psicosis makes defence number 2 of his WCW Cruiserweight title. 48/100
Dr. Wagner Jr was looking strong in this one, he knew what to expect in a match like this and was very quick on his feet. An experienced grappler worked over champion's back after he missed a Psycho Senton, but couldn't break the spirit of his opponent who proved himself here! Doctor got this opportunity largely because of his reputation in Mexico, and he came very close to a pinfall victory after a Wagner Driver. A kick out, come back and finish. Good match to start the night with, but the champion is not done! He knows that he is not a real champion until he gives a chance to the top name in the division - Rey Misterio Jr! Psicosis wants to fight Rey at the pay-per-view with his title on the line! Refreshing dynamic! Kidman, Chavo and Liger all tried to avoid the battle with Rey Rey, but this guy is different...

Lex Luger is with Okerlund, answering questions about his match with Raven from last week. "Look Mean Gene, me and Sting have lots of history. And of course there's some bad bits in it. But what he did to me last Thursday was just too much! He hit me in my neck with a bat, for what? For me trying to figure out that he sucks at doing his job as a referee!? Of course I was mad, I am still mad!! And I heard that Sid beat him earlier today. That's karma, my friend!" Okerlund says that Sting did not want to be an official originally. "Yeah, but then DDP put a prize on the line and our noble guy decided to go with it. He sold out!" Okerlund reminds Luger of doing that first, but Lex says he doesn't have all the time in the world for Mean Gene's stupid remarks! A big Luger supporter in Paul Orndorff stood nearby all this time and only shook his head at the interviewer.

Couple of meters away Triple H is looking mean. He still doesn't have a match for the upcoming pay-per-view, his stuff was smeared in paint by dumb and dumber in Daffney and Crowbar, and Ric Flair is not a very good traveling partner when he's in a bad mood. Flair tells Arn Anderson to talk some sense in that fool DDP before it's too late, but gets a little notification as an answer. "The Game" is set to take on Crowbar next! Triple H looks at the road agent as if he took a dump on his plate, he can't be serious? "I jumped ship for this crap? Me going second on the card of ****ing Thunder against the guy who was david Flair's sidekick?" We thought Hunter couldn't be more upset, but he's proving us wrong now. Flair asks if David really left and gets a confirmation. "About time! That walking disappointment did nothing but make me look bad. I bet my daughter would be a better wrestler than him!"

Quote:
In an extremely short match, Triple H defeated Crowbar in 0:05 by pinfall with a Pedigree. 64/100
Before the match Crowbar mimicked Triple H's entrance. Crowbar hit all the poses and even spat the water under the light of projectors. That didn't sit well with the originator of the walkout routine, as Triple H threw Crowbar face first into the turnbuckle and slammed him on the floor a couple of times! Daffney screamed as usual, with Flair trying to shut her mouth with his hands. HHH hit a spinebuster on the apron and rolled the poor dude in the ring to hit a Pedigree for the count of three. Just like that, HHH threw the guy out of the ring like a trash and told Ric to give him that stupid girl! Ric grabbed Daffney by the hair and they teased a beatdown, until David Flair's music hit! Cheered on by the crowd, David ran down with all his might and... stumbled over and fell on his face. Just as Daffney did, it's a Pedigree for her! Ric goes further and locks a Figure 4 on the girlfriend of his son, woo-ing in the process. Trips denied David in entry to the ring, then threw him into the steps and made him watch at his daddy. Flair and HHH leave with huge smirks on their faces, fans are not that thrilled...

A video message from Kidman! He's alive, but not so well. Billy says he hit the bottom and he's really sorry to everyone who was affected. He wants fans to forgive him for his actions, he wants to change, and gladly, Torrie Wilson is helping along with his rehab. Billy says he was a fool and wants to come back as early as possible, but that's not smart, the doctors say. Kidman hopes fans have fun and support Rey Misterio in his title match soon, who is a real friend and an awesome guy after all. Right after that message we get a interview with CM Punk, who's smirking at the reaction of the people. "That's very typical of you people to get behind people who don't deserve that. Billy Kidman is a drug addict and he got what he deserved. He's not a hero for admitting how stupid he was, there's no bravery in that. His words make me sick, but you all make it even worse. Why do people like me never get praised for not trying the poison at the first place? I'm the real role model, the real inspiration!! I'm straight edge and that means I'm better than you!" Hertha nodded and added that with so much talk about the women's division in WCW she finds it only suitable to proclaim herself the leading female wrestler in the world. They will have a tag team match later on, Lita will test Hertha's words.

Jimmy Hart is losing his mind backstage, congratulating Rey with a title shot out of nowhere. Psicosis called out Misterio when nobody expected it, now they have an opportunity to prove Rey Rey is the best high flier in this business baby! Rey says it's surreal, he is ready to go at it and win the gold after all this chase and wait! Lita is happy for her idol, they will tag today against Hertha and Berlyn. The girl also wants to talk with "The Mouth of The South" about the whole women's division thing, Lita wants to know what would be a good career choice for her. Meanwhile Berlyn and his bodyguards are marching to the ring, before being attacked from behind by LAX! Konnan directs the attack, it's nasty. Germans are thrown into the ring and the second match is on!

Quote:
In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Latin American Xchange (Hernandez, Konnan and Homicide) defeated Arian Brotherhood (Wilhelm, Berlyn and Jacob) in 5:23 when Konnan defeated Berlyn by pinfall with a Cradle DDT on the briefcase. 45/100
Konnan gets the pinfall victory here, he was ruthless. After the match K-Dawg cut a promo about how badly he wanted to kick Berlyn's trasero and get the message across - LAX is no joke, they take people out and they demand respect. Konnan shouts out Psicosis for his pre-match speech and says he and Rey will steal the show at Halloween Havoc, word! After the mic drop Hernandez double clotheslines Jacob and Wilhelm. "Latin Fury" then tells Homicide to make a statement... CURB STOMP! The irony of Berlyn getting one. He lost teeth in the process, and Konnan picked them up, later wrapping them into his bandana.

A fancy vignette straight from the dancing floor! Disco Inferno got some moves, he is the center of attention, second to Stacy Kiebler's legs of course. Stacy said she never had so much fun! Our dancer said he was about to say the same, also asked Stacy to refer to him by his real name, Glenn. As they chat, couple of bouncers come to get Disco out of the house without much explanation. He tries to wriggle out, the tall blonde is on her own now wondering what happened to her date. Looks like she's leaving early!

Kanyon is sitting in DDP's office all beat up, he tells Page what happened. He was attacked by Revolution, who smacked him with soap bricks. DDP says it's tough and decides to give Kanyon an abscence of leave. Kanyon feels fine physically, but he is hurt inside, people can't accept him for who he is. DDP insists on Kanyon taking a break. Woah! Sting barges into the room, slams his hands on the desk and demands a match with Sid, tonight! Page asks Stinger to calm down, and says he will try to figure something out. Sting says there's nothing to figure out, he wants to fight the guy that jumped him earlier today.

- Look Sting, I get that you are upset..
- No DDP, you have no idea. I am not showing how angry I really am, I keep it all inside of me. What you see is just a fraction of hate that boils over in me! You don't want to see my real emotions do you?
- No, I guess not.
- Then make the right thing. Put me in the match with Vicious tonight! I did you a favor, now it's your turn...
- Well, if you put it this way. I already rewarded you with a title opportunity!
- Bull**it! You gave me a prop while Raven owns an actual thing. Put me against Sid or I will be your biggest nightmare. I'm not joking! Even a good man can do bad things when he's pushed to the wall.
- If you want it so much, you got it.

Sting walks off, Kimberly Page then says she never seen the guy act like that. Kanyon looked at the whole thing from aside, then left without saying a word. It's funny that Sting got what he wanted, but Kanyon did not. DDP has a lot of headache and puzzles right now. Right after Sting a scruffy Alex Shelley rolls in. The guy recovered after being powerbombed off the stage by Mike Awesome! Shelley asks how's boss doing, but just gets a "what do you want and how did you get here" line. Alex says that he watched Nitro and saw that Mike Awesome's girlfriend got a job offer for all the misfortunes that happened to her lately.

- And? What is your problem with that?
- No problems at all, Mr. Page! I just think it's fair to give me a job too. I also was affected severly by Mike Awesome and Scott Steiner, and I think I got it even worse than that poor woman.
- You have a cheek, youngster. But you also have a point... I liked your material, you can use that thing in your hand well. I can give you a bigger camera, if you can handle it of course.
- Sure, Mr. People's Champion! I will be very careful with it. So I'm hired?
- Yes you are. Don't expect too much money coming your way though, it's not a well paid job. Now leave me with my wife, ok?
- Sure boss, she's pretty!

DDP points at the door for Alex, he doesn't have all the time in the world for him. DDP calls Zbyzsko in his office, asks the guy about Meng. "Where is he? I want to talk to him as soon as possible!" Larry says Meng usually doesn't go to nobody, it's the other way around. Exactly the reason why Raven established such a bond with the savage. He didn't fear the man, approached him, he treated him with respect. Page scratched his head, told Larry to go do his thing. Berlyn is ranting backstage on german, but it's obvious that he blames Wilhelm and Jacob for the misfortune of losing his teeth! He's not a pretty boy anymore, far from it.

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Rey Mysterio Jr and Lita defeated CM Punk and Hertha in 6:57 when Rey defeated Punk by pinfall with a Droppin' Da Dime. 43/100
Hertha has years of experience on her opponent and she uses that to dominate Lita. German Suplex almost sealed the deal, but Lita showed us how badly she wanted to stay in it. Punk requested a tag, got it, yelled at crawling Lita for being disrespectful to Hertha. Rey comes in, guys exchange some martial art kicks, with one landing on the side of Misterio's head! High Knee in the corner, Bulldog, Punk goes for the elbow drop and misses! Lita puts all her courage in the Crossbody to the outside right on Hertha, giving Rey just enough time to get the clean victory over Punker. Rey used the same move Psicosis did earlier today! After the match Rey accepted the challenge of his long lasting opponent, but then was interrupted by LAX. Konnan gave his bandana to Misterio and said his gang could ensure that Rey would win the title at the pay-per-view if he was about to join them. Rey unwrapped the bandana, Berlyn's teeth feel out! "You know Konnan... I don't believe in tooth fairies anymore!" Misterio jumped off the ring after that line and helped Lita to her feet. Konnan holds Homicide and Hernandez back, they would gladly attack Rey right now. Mysterio is living dangerously...

Trish talks to Booker about her future wrestling career. Stratus has a lot of ambition, that can be said without any doubts. "My beautiful face will be everywhere! Posters, production trucks, billboards, I will go on daily shows and star on the cover of magazines more often, people will ask me for autographs and I will say no to them, there will be scandals and the spotlight will be on me all the time! Now I need to work out this wrestling thingy, shouldn't be that hard..." Booker listens to that and his in-ring veteran feelings are triggered. Paying dues? Nah... That's not her way of thinking. She wants everything and fast! Booker says she has to train for that everyday and study the game! Trish rolls her eyes and says she doesn't want to study! She wants to be a star. Booker insists on a training if she wants to really go with it, and Startus eventually agrees.

- Ok, when shall we start?
- Right off the bat! We will start on weekends, try some basics.
- Weekends? I can't do weekends, I have a pedicure appointment! Training can wait...

Stacy Kiebler couldn't find Disco Inferno anywhere, not even his car. She called a cab and stood there, getting whistles from drunk fellas. One of them recognized her as Miss Hancock, bystanders laughed out loud much to girl's embarassment. Out of nowhere Johnny The Bull rolls in on his red Alfa Romeo and offers Kiebler a ride. He thinks he's both - alpha and Romeo too! Stacy doesn't want to be laughed at anymore, and for that reason she accepts to escape awkwardness. Moments later her date comes out on the street and asks people about a tall attractive blonde, but only gets recognized by that one fan. "Wow, Disco Inferno is also here! May I take a picture with you?" People laugh some more, and they don't even know the guy in Alfa Romeo goes by the name Johnny The Bull.

We get a short and sweet video package form a sit-down interview with the rookie John Cena, handled by the one and only Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Not many people can say that their first match was against the biggest name in the industry, and last Monday John Cena made a debut to remember. Newcomer is humble to share the same room with the brightest man in the business, he's loving life in WCW so far! Heenan says that sharing a room with "The Brain" is a treat after sharing the ring with Hogan, Cena keeps his mouth shut and just starts smiling. Heenan tells us that this young man is a former bodybuilder, a patriot and a student of the game with a lot of ambition. Cena says that's correct, he is a hard worker and respects the craft. Heenan asks John about the match, but focuses our attention on the finish. His leg was clearly under the rope, and the pinfall from Hogan shouldn't have counted. Cena is shy about it, says he is still new to the game and that referees are people just like me and you. Everyone makes mistakes, but of course it was upsetting for him at the moment. Will there be a rematch? Young John doesn't rule that out, but is ready to work and wait before that happens. Heenan then drops the papers and says "cut"! John is told to leave, the rookie is confused quite a bit, the interview ended abruptly. Heenan then murmurs that this guy is faker than Hogan himself! Heenan says he can see right through that nobody. "You can't see me!" - John says behind closed doors. After that bit we get a shot of the announcer's desk. An awkward pause, then "Brain" says it's because he's behind the door!

Quote:
In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Eddie Guerrero defeated Booker T in 12:20 by pinfall with a Crucifix. 71/100
Eddie Guerrero is a brilliant mind and a top notch talent. Booker and Eddie had a good match with lots of pace and great levels of intensity, but the finish came after "Latino Heat" used his cunning mind to fool everyone. First off he faked an injury at the hands of Trish, and she was ejected. Startus rightfully said that she didn't do anything, for that Booker confronted the ref about it. He gave official a mild push, just enough to give ref a reason to help Guerrero. Crucifix and a quick count! He lies, he cheats and he steals, sometimes he does all three things at the same time like tonight! Eddie is laughing and celebrating with fans, Booker looks like he forgot to turn the stove off at home. 2-0 to Eddie and Benoit!

DDP found Meng backstage and softly spoke to him. Page went for a handshake, but Meng put the Feast or Fired briefcase close to his chest and just nodded. Basically DDP wants to talk to Meng about his contract. It's coming to an end in a while, and they need to agree on a new deal. DDP has an offer in mind, and that involves the thing islander has in his hands. Page will give Meng a better contract for the exchange of the title match contract, it's fair. Meng says he won't give DDP anything, and turns his back on the boss. DDP is mad! "Ok you tough son of a **itch, I gave you a chance! You don't want to give it to me, I will take it myself!" Meng turns back to DDP, smiles and whispers "Try..."!

Time for some real talk with our world champion. Bret says he can "end" WCW just as easy as he ended NWO. What's funnier, he won't even break the sweat to do that. He's the cornerstone of the company, and without him the whole place would be in danger of going out of business. "Hitman" says that commissioners should help their figureheads, but DDP is only putting sticks in Hart's wheels. Bret wants everyone to know that he will make everything in his power to bring Roddy Piper back. That statment triggers DDP, he comes out and says that Hart may be the face of the company, but he will never be it's heart, nor soul. Bret asks who that heart and soul is? The self-appointed People's Champion? No, it's just money. They put this company on the map and they keep it afloat. If it wasn't for the money, Hart wouldn't even sign for them. Money rule the world, and so does Bret. He carries this company on his back! DDP gets back at Bret, says Hart would be surprised to find out that this world revolves not only around him! DDP is sure that Hart needs WCW more than WCW needs Hart, and same things could be said about NWO. DDP tells Bret to go home just like Hall and Nash did, if he's so unhappy. That would only prove that he did not end the NWO, but instead absorbed it in himself. Hitman looks DDP in the eyes, says he doesn't need anyone to make him look good. He's the best there is, best there was, best there ever will be! And to prove just that, he calls Page for a match! If DDP wins - he's world champ and can get a rematch with Goldberg at Halloween Havoc. 2 years in the making, all that good stuff. But if Bret wins... he will be DDP's boss. Without thinking for too long Page agrees! Bad gambling habits! Triple H and Ric Flair will lose their minds when they find out about this. Page cuts the line to fight for gold, that won't sit well with them. Maybe Meng could help them out? His match is next!

Quote:
In a match that had some good action and average heat, Meng defeated Diamond Dallas Page in 8:20 via knock out. 78/100
Wow! Meng wrestled Page for some time, the bout got to the eventual comeback from the fan favorite and then just "nope"! Walkout KO by Meng, he turned the lights off for Page! I guess people knew that Meng was tough, but this right here got them surprised. Commissioner got merked! Meng then put his sunglasses on, grabbed the case and left quietly. Deal with it! Triple H and Ric Flair came out to mock DDP's loss. Triple H said DDP is a poser, with Flair yelling about never being knocked out in his life, wooo! DDP came back to senses and pushed people away from himself, he has no idea what just happened. Flair and Hunter trash talked the commissioner, who tried to get a shot at them, but wass restricted by road agents. Naitch and Haitch have a good time tonight, "The Game" even tells DDP to "suck it"... how vulgar.

Johnny The Bull stops in the middle of nowhere and asks Stacy for a kiss, but gets a no. Johnny insists on a kiss, Stacy says she doesn't want to. Johnny repeats himself once again, very assertively.

- If I do, will you let me go!?
- I will. I am a man of my word.

Stacy reaches in with Bull going all out with that kiss. He puts himself over on her, Stacy tries to fight off to no avail. Luckily for her a police patrol comes by just in time and asks if everything is ok. Johnny says everything is smooth to the cop, who's not buying it. He asks again but now only Stacy, and she is quick out of the car, grateful for help from the forces. Cops wish Johnny a good night, but he's running over the policeman's foot!! He attacks both people in uniform and throws Stacy on the backseat! He's running away and we have a chase here!! Johnny, what did you do?

It's time for the last match! Lex Luger joins the table for three too. Sid and Sting, two big names clashing! Both are a bit not "there", Sting is getting more edgy with each day and Sid is just... Sid. Sting jumps in right into the action with the Stinger Splash! Here we go!

Quote:
In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Sid Vicious defeated Sting in 10:49 with a Chokeslam after a distraction from 7 Ravens. 77/100
It is a big result for big Sid Vicious! The battle turned out to be ugly, they didn't hold no punches back. Sting got Sid locked in the Scorpion Death Lock, but dropped the hold after he was surrounded by Ravens! That's right, near to seven people stood outside of the ring, sporting the outfit of the original! Sting lost focus, got dropped on his back and pinned for three. Sid celebrates like a maniac! Luger says Sting lost because of his stubborness. The mastermind behind the distraction actually watched the match fom the rafters, and hit the pose when camera caught him. Sting and Raven will come to real blows one day, it's inevitable. Halloween Havoc maybe? We will find out real soon, good night everybody! Oh no wait, we have a helicopter footage from the car chase! Johnny fought the law, and the law won. What a fun night it was for Stacy aswell! Last thing we see is Johnny saying "IT WASN'T ME!"

Final Rating: 81/100 (4.31 on TBS)

DDP was not a fan of losing clean to Meng, so he got some moolah as a moral compensation. Booker also didn't feel like jobbing to Eddie, but went with the idea on the basis of being kept strong, hence the low rating. Main event was ok, as expected. Mah boy Johnny The Bull got a storyline, how kind of me to give him some material. I'm still patting myself on the back for that Alfa Romeo joke, and it's not even funny. Well boys, I couldn't even do a pay-per-view before the real Halloween, we're still 3 in-game weeks from that or a couple of real world months it seems) Hope this will be a good toilet read for someone, cheers!

Default Bret vs DDP for the title!

Current Standings

1. Beejus - 24
2. Crackerjack - 23
3. Destiny - 16

Hitman is ready to break DDP's plans on Haloween Havoc '98 title rematch!

1. Jushin Liger and Juventud Guerrera vs. Psicosis and Rey Mysterio Jr
2. Vader vs. Bill DeMott
3. David Flair vs. Triple H
4. Finlay vs. Sid Vicious
5. Goldberg vs. John Cena
6. Hulk Hogan vs. ??? - US title Open Challenge
7. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Bret Hart (c) - WCW World Heavyweight title match

Liger and Juice get a chance to break the plans of Rey and Psicosis, as the cruiserweight champion told us about his wish to fight Mysterio for the title at the pay-per-view. All that just to prove he's a real champion, props to the guy! David Flair decided to actually step up and challenge the bully in Triple H, who nearly ended Crowbar's career last Thursday. David has nothing to lose, he wants to prove his father wrong too. John Cena, who was controvercially beaten by Hogan for the title last Monday decides to up the ante and challenge an even bigger star in Goldberg! Hulkster himself would tease the roster with an open challenge, but with Finlay and Vader already busy and Steiner on the shelf, Hogan feels safer. Finally we have a big match up in the main event! This bout was arranged after a heated exchange on Thunder between the two. Page and Hart were never fond of each other, and their conflict will be resolved with the world title on the line. Bret is confident he will beat commissioner one on one, and Page wouldn't mind a chance to get one back on the world champ, as they fought all the way back at Souled Out 2000. Also we will get to see a contract signing by The Dudley Boyz, they're coming down!!

Default WCW Monday Nitro on TNT (Show #84)

Week 2, October 2000
Meadowlands Arena, Tri State (16,762)

We're coming to you live from Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey! Tonight promises to be a big night for WCW, we have a lot of things to go through. Of course the first man to come out is the commissioner, Diamond Dallas Page! He's challenging for the world title in his hometown. He's a total People's Champion, judging by the reaction of the fans. He got knocked out by Meng last Thursday, but that didn't tilt his confidence. He always fought against all odds. DDP takes a moment to clap hands and rile up the big crowd, they are excited. The boss asks his friends to show how hard they can party in NJ, earning yet another big reaction. Page is touched, he thanks everybody and takes a minute to adress his loss to Meng. "That guy is a beast and he did well to switch my lights off. He humbled me before my big match, and for that I want to thank him. I'm hungrier right now than ever before, I want to bounce back big, becoming a 2 time world heavyweight champion!" Cheers, DDP has other business to adress. He approaches the table in the middle of the ring. "Tonight is a big night for plenty of reasons. Not only for the main event, but for our beloved sport as a whole. Without further adieu, I want you to welcome the newest members of our roster..."

Pyro comes down, making a huge explosion on the ramp and giving Heenan a jumpscare! "Yeah, we comin' down!" They are here, officially! Sporting new t-shirts with a "3D" tag and rocking to a new theme performed by Saliva. That's one way to rebrand yourself! One of the better tag teams in the business, they left a mark in ECW and WWF already! Now they came to the place where the big boys play. Ray and Devon hit the pose, get in the ring and milk the reaction. Ray grab the mic out of commissioner's hands. "DO YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE!??? We're Team 3D! I am Brother Ray, this is Brother Devon, and we came here to clean out your tag team division and break some tables along the way!" Some people start chanting E-C-W. Devon asks for a mic and adds that they came to make some money here too, before smiling slily. The contracts are ready to be signed, let's make it official! DDP is waiting, but Team 3D are not going to just put their signatures and wave bye-bye until Haloween Havoc. They are here to negotitate! Page scowls and whispers something, but Ray is not even listening. They will sign contracts on one condition... when they beat the Road Warriors at the pay-per-view, they want to get an automatic match for the tag titles. DDP exhales and says that's fine, so Ray and Devon get to their pens. "Rap Sheet" hits, Booker T and Buff Bagwell interrupt the signing right as Bubba and Devon are ready to put the ink on the paper.

"Tell me you didn't just say dat!" - Booker starts, with his eyes wide open. Buff shakes his head at DDP, then turns back to Trish and says their man will tell them. Booker adjusts his title as he gets in the ring. A little staredown between the teams, then Booker gets in the face of Dallas and tells him to think again if he wants to grant the newcomers that clause! There's no love lost between Buffy T and DDP, the acting commie smirks as Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit join the discussion. "Hey Booker, don't stress over it, holmes! After Halloween Havoc you won't be champions anymore, orale!! Me and Chris will take the titles away from you, so we can save you from the Dud-dud-dud.." Eddie mocks the stuttering gimmick Team 3D had, but also avoids using the old name of the tag team, winking at DDP. Benoit grins, flashing the missing tooth. Booker tells Eddie to shut the hell up! Lot of disrepect going on in here! The champs are treated like some peasants, what a disgrace. DDP parries, saying Booker and Buff are not the only champions that get "the unfair" treatment, reffering to Bret of course. Buff wants to calm down Book with a massage, but Trish slaps his hand. Brothers glare at Trish, the potential table breaking target, so Booker steps up and asks if they wanna have problems already? Benoit is getting fed up with all the trash talking, so he drives his forearm to Buff's face. Eddie dropkicks Booker out of the ring, and the brawl between those teams starts!! Ray shoves Devon...

- What!???
- Sign the contracts!!

Devon shrugs and does so, while Ray grabs Trish by the hair and looks over the audience, who don't like the demanding diva all that much. DDP is the voice of a reason, stopping Ray from putting his hands on the woman. Ray lets her go, and agrees with DDP. Trish hides, because Booker and Buff are still trading shots with Eddie and Chris. Boss wants Bubba's signature, right now. He goes to the table, puts the pen to use and hands the contract to Page... 3D through the table!!! Ray picked up Page with a flapjack, and Devon connected with a cutter, a little change of roles!?? Boss is out. "YOU WANTED MY SIGNATURE?? YOU GOT IT, BOSS! AND BY THE WAY... NEW JERSEY SUCKS!!" Thunderous boos from the people, they must be wrong. But they think that New York is the number one city in the world, what can you do with that? Devon picks up the mic and tells the Road Warriors to stop hiding in Japan and give them some competition! Tenay says Warriors indeed popped up in New Japan and even defeated Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan! "Brain" wants to ask "who", but is careful after his little slip with Cena last Thursday. DDP is back to senses after a 3D, all the rest are gone now.

John Cena is walking around backstage, shaking hands with everyone. He then bumps into the world heavyweight champion himself, Bret Hart! John is humble, he introduces himself to "The Hitman" and gets recognized.

- I saw your match with Hogan. Of course you have a long way to go, but I can see some potential in you. You want to be a world champion one day, kid?
- Yes sir. I think if you're a pro wrestler and you don't want to be a world champion, then you're in the wrong business.
- I see, you have a good head on yor shoulders. I have an advice for you, care to listen?
- Of course, you're the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
- Yes I am. So listen, you will not be a champion as long as I'm active. But I encourage you to try and do something about it. For example, face the number one contender. Tonight.
- You want me to fight Goldberg?
- I don't want anything from you, it's just a matter if you want to be one of the best around.
- Ok, I get it. Sure, I will try my best. Thanks for the advice.

Bret just manipulated a driven rookie into a demolition derby. Heck, if this fella beats Goldberg, the backlash would be legendary. For Bill, for DDP, for everyone. And if he loses... who cares? Hart may not have allies anymore, but he can still make things tougher for everyone. Cena is looking worried, although not desperate. A man gotta do what a man gotta do. Cena is patted on the back by "The Man"... You're NEXT! We come back from the first commercial break with Liger and Juvi already in the ring. Rey comes out to a warm reaction, and then the cruiserweight champion joins the ring too. Psicosis and Rey didn't have a lot of moments like ths one, usually they just fought each other. Parejas Incredibles Light? Nah, it's a straight up tag team match.

Quote:
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Rey Mysterio Jr and Psicosis defeated Jushin Liger and Juventud Guerrera in 9:20 when Rey Mysterio Jr pinned Juventud with a Droppin' a Dime. 64/100
Three minutes into the bout Rey got it. Psicosis acted like he was all alone and ignored Rey's tag requests. What for? Cruiserweight champion fared well against his opponents, but then got caught with a sudden Koppu Kick from Liger and almost lost the match. Rey and Psicosis were put together to clean out any potential contenders, so Psicosis does himself no favors. Juvi was very loud and vocal, said he deserved to be the next champion after his best friend Billy got OD'd! Juice got the quick cover, but Rey broke the pinfall. Eventually Rey tagged himself in and Dropped a Dime on Juvi for the three. Liger looked at the opponent and decided to leave peacefully. "Qué demonios estás haciendo!??" - Psicosis jumps back to Rey after the match and he's not looking happy. Tenay translates from there... Psicosis gave Rey a big match, but Mysterio wasn't thankful at all. He decided to get all the light on himself, but he's not a champion! Rey is not even surprised about this absurd logic, but says thanks anyway. Liger is back with a chair! Jushin lays out Rey and then Psicosis too! Thunder boots a CW title all of a sudden and says "SAYONARA". He's leaving? Looks like Liger is appauled that he was left out of the pay-per-view card. He can always go back to New Japan, but why do this? As it stands, we have a singles match.

We get a recap of Johnny The Bull running over policeman's foot and having a car chase last Thursday. Although Johnny said he was innocent, common sense says otherwise. Stacy is sitting backstage, looking shook. She asked to skip the "Nitro Girls" routine and was allowed to go home. Thing is, she's scared to do that now. Disco Inferno comes up to Kiebler and asks how she's feeling? It must be stresful after Johnny forced himself on Stacy and got her involved with the police after a chase. Stacy tries to keep it together, says she's better. Disco goes on to explain that they chose the wrong place to dance last week. "That scum worked as a doorman at the Club Oxygen. He talked up his old friends to beat me up, but I am not as easy as I look! When I was finally free I couldn't find you. I'm sorry it happened to us.." Kiebler didn't even know. Disco would like to face Johnny face to face, but he heard that the guy was cut loose after mugshots flooded the internet. Kiebler says Glenn doesn't have to be sorry, and asks him not to fight that a**hole.

But you know who's always down for a fight? Finlay! Tough irishman cracked a smile after he found out that he will be facing Sid tonight. Like, who gets happy when they are booked to fight that psycho? Finlay has nobody to push around backstage in Revolution's abscense, so it's perfect for him. Sid is getting back on track, he even beat Stinger last week! This match will be intense, let's go! Finlay adjusts his singlet, Sid is stoic.

Quote:
In an extremely short match, Sid Vicious defeated Finlay in 4:53 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. 65/100
Don't let the result fool you, Finlay is the man. He wasn't hiding from Sid, and played dirty and tough. Finlay is the gamest dude on the roster, he will fight a bear for a pint! He got a near fall after driving shillelagh to Sid's chin. A massive Powerbomb gave Vicious a victory and lead to Hogan's entry! Hulkster hit his poses and stepped into the ring. United States champion caught Sid off guard, but then told "Psycho" to relax. "Brother, you showed them all! Beat Sting on Thursday, and now this guy, I'm impressed. I have always been a fan of yours, dude. I supported you all the way to a world title match, remember?" Sid nods, he's looking tense. "Basically, you owe me, jack! For the match, for the promotion and for that other time.. don't look at me like you don't remember!" Vicious scratches his head, Hulk's not wrong. "We all know powers of be don't want you to be the top guy, Sid. It's been like that for a long time, brother. But it all can change now! If you make a good career choice and join the Hulkamania brand!" Sid looks for a reaction from the crowd, turning his head from side to side. Negative reaction, Sid says he never liked those dumb people anyway! He adds that Hogan knows something that he doesn't, and for that alone he's willing to be a Hulkamaniac! Sid shakes Hogan's hand, and we can see Vader looking pissed backstage. The Mastadon punches a TV screen and walks off. Hogan recruited a big guy in the absence of Mike Awesome. That will keep people a bit away from Hulkster, probably. Vader can vent his frustrations in a match tonight, it's coming up in a bit.

Handcam video from Alex Shelley! "Baby Bear" knocks on Big Poppa Pump's door. The door of Steiner's home in Detroit, if you didn't know. Steiner swears his broken butt off, he hates taking guests. Scott opens the door, looks at Alex Shelley and asks if his mom is in town? Alex says no and gets door shut right in front of him. "Hey, I bought you some chicken!" - Alex adds, and the door gently gets opened after a sec.

- Come on in then, you pencilneck, I'm hungry!
- You always are Scotty! What are you doing nowadays?
- What do you mean? I sit at home and bring satisfaction to my neighbour freaks! Holler if ya hear me! *some woman nearby hollers*
- Eek, she's looking gross.
- THAT'S MY MOTHER!!
- Wait what? You fool around with your own mother?
- Dumbass, I was not talking about her!! I was checking her deaf-aid! MOM, I LOVE YOU! *incoherent answer by Momma Steiner*
- Oh, the whole squad is here!

Alex spots Rick Steiner on the couch, still in a leg brace. That was the deed of Hogan, if you forgot. Dog-Faced Gremlin woofs, Momma Steiner asks who let the dogs out? Steiner junior slowly sits back on the couch, still having back pains after a massive bump from his Fall Brawl High Incident match. Shelley looks at Steiner Bros and says he feels like he wandered into a retirement house. The varsity jocks would like nothing more then to beat the skinny guy up, but their bodies hold them down.

- So you guys watching Nitro or not?
- **** Nitro! Red Wings are playing against Oilers.
- I thought hockey was for canadians. Anyway, I just wanted to share. I just signed with WCW!
- Wow, you are a dumb ****. Did you even go to college?
- Egh, no. I lived in the dormitory though!
- Me and Rick come for a highly educated university of Michigan! Education is important, you stupid boy!
- Yeah, sure. When will you be back wrestling?
- Whenever I damn please! Gimmie a ****ing remote, Ricky! And you, go сheck momma's urinal. I hate ducks!

We're back to Earth. Bill DeMott is standing in the ring with a mic, talking about how he was the first guy Goldberg faced in WCW. Bill says that not a lot of guys can beat him senseless, he's a tough son of a you know who, so if you are world title material, you have to go through him first! DeMott heard that Cena is going to fight Goldberg tonight, and he's confident that Cena will get his **s jackahmmered. "There's no way you're walking out of the match on your own too! If I lost to him, you're no different!" Vader comes out and stares Bill down. "I just wanted to say the same to you!"

Quote:
In an extremely short match, Vader defeated Bill DeMott in 5:02 by pinfall with a Vader Bomb. 50/100
Bill tried to hit his own Moonsault on "The Mastadon", but missed by a fraction and was flattened across the mat with a Vader Bomb. Easy pickings for Vader, who is posing after his victory. Does this win make him a world title material? Not likely, but nobody can argue that Vader deserves to have at least one more shot at Hogan's US title. "Sid won't save you, Hogan. I'm coming!" DeMott didn't even move, he has to be helped to the back after his match. Kimberly is running around DDP, who is not 100% after a 3D through the table. He won't pull out of his big match, he's not a quitter. Mike Rotunda enters the office room and informs DDP that Jarrett successfully retained his TV title on the New Japan show, but there was a little incident after the match. "Double J" was attacked after the bell by... Kanyon.

- No way, Kanyon is on a sick leave. I told him to have a couple of days off.
- Well, looks like he was fed up waiting for the opportuntiy and booked a ticket to Japan. He wasn't invited, so now Tatsumi Fujinami wants to talk to you...
- I can't believe this! Why everything has to happen TODAY?

Bret Hart is lacing his boots, getting ready for a big match later tonight. His title is on the line, a lot of pressure on the man. Tammy Sytch gets around Bret and starts touching him... "Oh Bret, you looks so tense. I still look back on the past times we had, you were the best I've ever had. I still think about you, a lot..." Bret catches her hand as it goes where it shouldn't, and says they never had anything. Besides, Tammy is not looking that good nowadays. 4/10 at best, to be honest. Bret fixes his title belt and says he has bigger fish to fry, much to indignation of the seductress. Bret walks off, Tammy is mad. She is split from Candido again, and already looking for guys to "represent". Better luck next time... Doomsday Device from Road Warriors taught her a lesson about stealing, but not cheating. Team 3D passes by, Brother Ray sets his sight on another potential victim. Tammy knows about Ray's kink with driving women through the tables and runs away... "If Road Warriors slapped her around, we should do too... and HARDER!" My God, no class at all.

David Flair is hanging out with Crowbar and Daffney backstage. He said he would quit, but then he changed his mind because of them. By the words of David, he considers both Daffney and Crowbar his real family. "I wish I wasn't the son of a biggest jerk on the planet. I am so fed up with all this legacy bullcrap, I just want to be me! You guys accept me, and I'm very grateful to have such awesome friends!" A triple hug, interrupted by Triple H.

- You're just a bunch of losers. You have no ambition, no talent and no future. I don't know why you're even in here, wasting everybody's time...you embarassed yourself enough!
- Funny how fast you've become my dad's favorite kissass. Thankfully, I don't have to act the same way with YOUR dad, Triple H.
- What are you talking about, moron?
- You heard me. You got into my old man's ear, but I was lucky enough to get a contact from Vince last weekend. He never liked you too, so we're pretty similar.

"The Game" is stunned. Vince McMahon talked to this pleb? What's worse, is that David somehow found a way to find similarities between them. "Me and you couldn't be further away from each other. If you still don't get this, let me show the difference between us in the middle of the ring, tonight!" David suprised everybody. "Guys, had to tell you first. I'm going to WWF next month..."

We go back to the announcing table. "Brain" jokes about David going to rivals, even Tony agrees. Tenay tells us about a couple of big matches that happened in New Japan over the last couple of days. "Professor" highlights a match between young lion Katsuyori Shibata and WCW's own Lance Storm as the bout he liked the most, also talking about how Muta and Vampiro continued their war overseas. Tenay added that Ken Shamrock was featured in the main event just recently, so WCW guys are making the company proud with their success. Heenan doesn't bat an eye, Schiavone says "Kabata" san is the one to keep an eye on, for sure. Tenay is about to correct his colleague, but "The Brain" hushes at them - "The Invisible Man" John Cena has something to say. Rookie got in the ring and asked for a mic, then proceeded to talk about his debut. "I know a lot of people don't want me to succeed here, but this hostile attitude only make me stronger. I'm John Cena, a man with a lot of hustle, loyalty and respect! I am a new guy, but I won't be walked over. I am here to make a statement, so tonight I'm challenging Goldberg!!" Heenan says "Invincible will beat the invisible, easy!" Goldberg makes his way to the ring, let's see what Cena got in his locker.

Quote:
In an extremely short match, Goldberg defeated John Cena in 3:23 by pinfall with Jackhammer. 69/100
Cena didn't shy away from the lock up, even put Goldberg in some hammerlocks and tried basic roll ups. One time he was pretty close to pinning the number one contender! Goldberg reacted with a smirk, and reversed one of John's shoulder blocks with a Spear! As Goldberg played to the crowd, Cena stood up on shaky legs and asked for some more. Superkick from Bill was reversed into an STF submission hold, which was quickly broken up by the favorite. This guy has the nerve to try and submit Goldberg! It doesn't go unnoticed, but Goldberg jumps back to his feet and finishes the job with a patented Jackhammer. Tenay sings praises to the newcomer, Heenan says it wasn't impressive at all - the guy lost again.

Ric Flair can't believe that his son signed with WWF. "Hunter, are you 100% sure? It's going to be a disaster. They will make him an even bigger joke than he already is, my brand will suffer big time! We need to do something... I'm open to your ideas.. Any ideas!" Triple H says he will take care of it, Nature Boy can count on him. Ric nods and says Triple H is yet to let him down, Hunter is a great friend.

Sting is once again far away from the crowded locker room. He is deep in thought, when Raven appears behind his back. Stinger grabs the bat and swings at the puppet master, but Raven hits his pose and says if he came here to fight, he would bring Meng along. Sting asks why should he trust Raven, and the man says Sting shouldn't. Trust is for limited people, but then again, that's an alien feeling for "The Icon". He can't even find peace with his "best friend" Lex Luger, Raven figures. Because he's still nursing grievance, despite Luger's remorse. Sting says not everything is black and white, Raven cackles and says he's glad that Sting finally understood that. It took him only a couple of years! Raven says he's no saint, far from it. He wants to try and prove to Sting that he's more than just a human, that his inner world can not be defined. He has an idea on how to ressurect Sting, and he's willing to give him a chance to be saved. "If you want to be free, I can show you the way out of your box. I can show you the way, don't ignore. Quote the Raven... Nevermore!"

Trish is freaking out, she almost got thrown through a table! Unthinkable! Where were they, how did they allow that to happen!? Buff says they got sucker punched, it all broke out so unexpectedly. Booker says he's getting sick of Benoit and Guerrero, and he can't wait for Halloween Havoc to put the end to them. Trish turns to Big T, starts yelling at him for being too slow to react once again. "You are soooo out of shape, it's gross. Hit the gym or something, I wanna cry when I see you!" Big T takes the dig and just wheezes, choking down the anger inside of him. Buff says Trish is right... in fact all of them need to hit the gym, together! Bagwell says he will sort everything out, no worries. It can't be just a regular workout if Bagwell is so excited. Team building probably?

Hulkster is cutting a backstage promo with the help of “Mean Gene”. Hogan explains why exactly he offered Sid a helping hand. It’s really simple. Hulkster has a really big and kind heart, brother. Hulk knows that every man deserves a second chance, an opportunity to prove people wrong. Okerlund asks if same logic could be applied to Vader, and his desire to have a rematch with Hogan for the title? Hulk says he doesn’t need to prove anything to anybody, as he has a positive record when it comes to fighting “The Mastodon”. Hulk acts like he was never afraid of a super heavyweight, Sid probably gave him a confidence boost. “Listen here, jack. Vader decided to throw some illegal punches at me, and I made him pay for it. Not my problem that man is so thick-skulled, I got a victory and that is all that matters. If he wants to throw hands like that, we can have a boxing match! Hulk Hogan and Vader, 20 oz gloves and 3 rounds of flurry. And whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania is running wild on you!??” Hogan shows off his pythons and adjusts the title belt. His match is next! Right after commercial break...

Hogan is full of himself and acts like the whole world is at his feet. He marches around with his title, puts his palm to the ear when people shout out certain wrestlers that they want to see against Hulkster. Hulk gets a mic and asks Hulkamaniacs about who they want to get in trouble tonight? A person of latino heritage says Konnan will be the next US champ, but Hogan disagrees. One kid wants to see La Parka, but Hogan says that “Skeleton” can cruiser-wait for big matches like that. Finally a not-so-sober fan tells Hulkster to man up and face Scott Steiner. Hulk then rubs his moustache and says his fans don’t know what they want. Hulk will tell him what they want! As Hogan is about to drop some knowledge bombs on the fans, Shamrock’s theme starts playing!! Isn’t he dropping people on their necks in New Japan? Hogan can not believe it, “The Worlds Most Dangerous Man” is back and now after him!

Quote:
In a bout that featured great action and good crowd, Ken Shamrock defeated Hulk Hogan in 7:28 by disqualification. Sid Vicious made an interference during a match. 76/100
Hogan defended himself well from the suplex attempts of Ken, but couldn’t avoid being taken down on the mats. Ken scrambled all over Hogan and locked a Rear Naked Choke on the man. It looked like life was slowly leaving Hogan’s body, but an eventual Hulk Up somehow turned the tide in Hulk’s favor. You, Big Boot, Leg Drop reversed into the Ankle Lock!! Sid was quicker than usual and clocked Shamrock hard to save the day and a leg of Hogan. Ref awarded Shamrock a DQ win, but a 2 on 1 situation got Ken under a lot of fire. Vader joined the brawl and oddly enough aided Shamrock in this situation. Long time rivals found themselves on the same page, but in the end of the scuffle neither side wanted to admit defeat. Vader and Shamrock don’t like each other, but at least they have a common target now. It's a sight to behold, those two together.

“The Franchise” Shane Douglas is running his mouth on the NJPW post show press conference. Shane told the press all about their intentions, stating that “Revolution” built itself on hard work, grit and hunger. The ethic of the Japanese culture fits the group better than a multi-colored fantasy movie that is American wrestling. Shane said he talked to his guys about staying in the country of rising sun for easy money and bigger opportunities, but they universally said one thing. “Living in Japan sucks!” Dustin Rhodes is not a fan of the toilet culture in here, and he knows a thing or two about it, as his granddad was a plumber. Candido said women are not attractive here at all, and Regal slated the transportation system was bloody tragic. As for “Franchise” himself… he thinks the country is too small for a person of his talent. After that he called out Kensuke Sasaki to a singles match! He promised to franchise his G1 winning ***, but then got jumped By Kanyon! An STO through press boards shut the loudmouth a bit, Kanyon is making things worse for everyone with those attacks!

David Flair's music hits. It's time for a fight, looks like Ric Flair's son is fired up and eager to pull off an upset. David stops his friends and asks them to wait backstage, as he doesn’t want them to get hurt. Daffney doesn’t want toleave, but Crowbar drags her off. It’s not a simple match for David, it’s a test. Triple H is out next, but he’s not telling Ric to stay away. Papa Flair jumps on the apron, points his finger and rants about David's behavior. High Knee to the side of the head! Unsuspecting David crashes down before the bell even goes off. Ref starts the match anwyay… This match probably won't take a lot of time off the clock.

Quote:
In an extremely short match, Triple H defeated David Flair in 3:07 by pinfall with a Pedigree. 63/100
Triple H eviscerated David, who even got slapped by his father when the ref was talking to Trips. David did absolutely nothing, although he started laughing like crazy near the end of the match. A brutal Pedigree muted the underdog… Crowd got over the loser, but it never looked like he could pack a punch and throw it on target. After the match Triple H throws his hair back and gives Ric a signal… Flair gets a sledgehammer from under the ring!! Signature weapon is in the hands of a “Cerebral Assassin”! Crowbar is coming to his friends aid, even knocks over Ric, but in the end eats a shot of the hammer to the face! Trips is loving it, he turns his attention back to helpless David… SLEDGEHAMMER TO THE KNEE!!! People turned away it was so ugly! HHH just broke David’s knee cap!! Daffney screams as loud as David does! Ric is telling David off for being a bad son.. and locks a FIGURE 4 if a hammer shot wasn’t enough!!! David is only saved by DDP and road agents, who boot Trips and Flair out! Triple H crippled David, who stupidly enough talked about his contract signing with the WWF. His career is effectively over...

Commercial break helped people switch their minds off the sickening attack, but not for long. Flair and Triple H even had a time to cut a promo, building on the fact that they made DDP nervous. Page banned both of them from the building, but neither one of those men seemed to concerned about it. “Page thinks this is his night, his moment. Well he’s wrong once again. We rule this company, whether he likes it or not. We’re in charge, and we are just getting started, WOOOO!”

John Cena is watching all the matches on the cracked down TV screen, he's a student of the game, no other way to put it. He’s clearly shook about the heinous attack on David Flair, but continues watching. Cena spots Bret, who is in his fighting outfit now, and asks him about how his match went. “You call that a match? All I saw is a lot of stupid mistakes that cost you a result. You have to be smarter than that, tonight was a disappointment. If you want to learn something, just watch me…” DeMott then approaches Cena and with a satisfied look on his face says that he was right. “You said I won’t leave the ring on my own too, but between us YOU were the one to get help after the match!” Bill’s eyes get red out of anger, he says he will teach John a lesson, the hard way! DDP comes in between them, asks them to not stir anymore trouble on this already crazy night.

Quote:
In a bout that had great action and great heat from the audience, Bret Hart and Diamond Dallas Page fought to a no contest after Outsiders interfered. Bret Hart makes defence number 4 of his WCW World Heabyweight title. 86/100
What a surprise. Yes, Hall and Nash are back into the mix. They decided to sit at home for a couple of weeks when Homicide almost put a fork into Kev's face, but now they are here once again. Outsiders jumped both DDP and Hart, and later gave them their finishers. To close the show, Hall grabbed the mic and after a long pause uttered "He Yo!"... Survey was not in favor of the bad guys, they just ruined a perfectly good title match. In closure, Nash said something clicked in his head, and he knew it was time to come back. "Big Sexy" hit his best friend with a "2 Sweet" and we went off air. DDP banned Ric and Trips from the ring, but he forgot about the other guys that had a tooth for "The Hitman" and authority!

Final Rating: 85/100 (7.63 on TNT)

Great to have Team 3D on board, they became "hot ones" right away. It helped that we put this show in the Tri State area, where they are legitimate superstars. Main event rating was ok, but I expected a little more. Funny enough Goldberg and Cena have good chemistry, who knew? David Flair is indeed off to WWF, good riddance. Lots of dialogues and graphics in this one, hope you dug it. Not a lot of big matches though, we need to fix that.

They're back! Can't wait to see how things have "clicked" now. I dig Sid joining up with Hulk too, though with as volatile as Vicious is, that may still end up as a short pairing. The Steiners segment was comic gold too.

Wolfpac is back causing mass destruction, what can I say? Back just in time to get a match on the pay-per-view, how cunning of them. Sid's mental capacity was always his biggest setback, so with Hulk near his side he hopes to pick up some "brains". What makes it funny, Hogan is not the brightest dude either from the stories we hear him involved in. Steiners preferred to watch a taped hockey game instead of WCW live, which puzzled a young mark Alex Shelley. Although Red Wings failed to deliver, Red Chicken Wings did just that, and after Alex took care of Momma Steiner, Rick and Scott decided not to beat up a young man. I can see that working in real life, Alex is even better than Petey Williams as a comedy guy IMO. Thanks for commenting man, appreciate that!

Outsiders
Disco
Konnan
Meng
Benoit/Guerrero
Ric Flair
Sting

It seems like an easy show to predict, but I doubt it will end up that way. I feel I could go either way on Vito/Diso, Meng/Kanyon, and Sting/Luger, but I'm sticking to my guns here.

Default WCW Thursday Thunder on TBS (Show #85)

Week 2, October 2000
Freedom Hall, Great Lakes (16,332)

Ric Flair walks down the ramp as we kick off this edition of Thunder. "Nature Boy" doesn't look like guilt is following him that much. "Naitch" and "Haitch" destroyed David Flair's kneecap with a sledgehammer, and we have footage that shows it from different angles. Ric soaks in the booing for some time, then starts talking...

"David thought he became a man when he challenged my status, but he will always be a stupid young boy to me. I am the man, and he will never be able to change that! Certainly not after I put him in the Figure 4 Leg Lock, woooo! Tough love, kiddo. If you don't like it, learn to love it!! You were a source of constant disappointment to me. You wanted to be a state trooper from a very gentle age and that was just a sign of things to come. I'm glad you're no longer part of my life, pro wrestling. I guessed that you would be a failure in the ring too, but I didn't give up on you after your debut match against Barry and Curt! Then you made things even worse for yourself, turning on me to gift Hogan a title. I, as a great father, forgave you and even gifted the US title TO YOU! But you remained an ungrateful piece of garbage that only tarnished my legacy!! You won't be able to do that in WWF, and I know very well they signed you only to drive me crazy! Gladly, you did have some use. Without you, I wouldn't love Ashley and Reid as much!

DDP comes out to the ring, interrupting Ric. Page says he tarnished his legacy when he joined the New World Order, and he shouldn't make David a scapegoat. Naitch says NWO is dead, but Ric Flair is forever!! That ultimately leads to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall checking in. They skip the survey and seize up Ric with their sights, his words hurt the founding fathers of black and white faction a bit. DDP is triggered that Hall and Nash have the nerve to get in his ring after what they did on Nitro last Monday. "You two must be really proud of yourselves. You ruined the match of my career, and now you think it's a good time to interrupt me?" Hall and Nash now look at Page...

- Relax Dallas, don't stress over it. You did well, and we almost didn't want to interfere. Almost... You see, we didn't want to give Bret Hart a DQ victory, neither we wanted to hurt you. But then our dear friend Triple H asked us to kick you for him, and we couldn't say no to that! We value our friendship very much...
- Oh, your dear friend Triple H? I see. Maybe I should suspend him so he could sit out some time too. It's been so much better without you two around.
- We missed you too, mang. We cried our hearts out when Bret wiped his feet across our t-shirt. That was a traumatic experience, to see something that we've created being walked over like that. Ric, give us some tips, you handled Hunter walking over your son so well! We felt a little better collecting our fat paychecks, so thanks for that.
- Well, tonight you will have to work in order to get your pay. You two will wrestle against Kronik!

Scott Hall makes his signature hand gesture, he's not scared. Nash says they are not against chronic, in fact they want it legalized! DDP tells them to get out, Nash picks some feather from Flair's robe and Scott throws his toothpick at Ric!! "We never wanted you in our faction, oldman. But don't worry, we won't floor you... Hunter wouldn't like it!" With those words Outsiders leave, Flair's red, but tries to act cool. DDP pushes him over the edge, saying that Flair will meet Crowbar later on in a singles match! Ric throws his robe off, and barely keeps himself from elbow dropping it!

A little backstage incident happened before we went on air! Who's involved? La Parka and Dr. Wagner Jr! They had a heated conversation on their native spanish language, and thanks to the guy from the truck we have subtitles for their argument by now. Basically "Skeleton" thinks that Wagner's cheating in a match with Kaz Hayashi a couple of weeks ago costed him a friendship with Kaz. Hayashi slipped down the cruiserweight division ranks and grew frustrated with his career going nowhere, and because of that wanted to concentrate as a solo guy, breaking their tag team. Wagner says La Parka is just a loser who knows nothing about winning! Wagner brings up the fact about Parka giving his costume to Eddie earlier this year just to go on holidays. Eddie did win a cruiserweight championship for La Parka that way, and Wagner is sure that was the only way for "Skeleton" to get some gold on his waist. A fan favorite mocked rudo for losing to Psicosis and challenged him to a match tonight! "Bad Doctor" didn't back down, so now we have them both in the ring, ready to fight!

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, La Parka defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in 6:46 by pinfall with a quick roll up. 41/100
Wagner is far from happy after the match, unlike Parka. "Skeleton" dances and plays air guitar on his chair, but then gets dropkicked in the back of the head by a sore loser. Doctor puts his boots on top of the guy and even strikes him with an awesome finishing move (Michinoku Driver) a bit later, right on the chair!! Kaz is nowhere to be seen, and that is sad.

The Cat is walking around backstage when he finally finds the man he looked for. Kaz Hayashi, there you are! Ernest Miller gets in the face of the cruiserweight, bringing up the fact that Kaz called him and his friends a bunch of dancing foo-rs and didn't even apologize after it. Kaz puts on the meanest face he can pull off, and it's safe to assume he won't apologize for his words now too. Ernest starts talking about how he is a 2 time karate world champion, and if Hayashi won't take his words back, he will get his rear end danced all over by "The Cat"! Hayashi stands up and pushes the guy away, acting totally unafraid towards Mr. Miller... Triple H meets Scott and Kevin backstage, asks them why they messed with Ric in front of all those people? Hall and Nash went buddy-buddy with "The Game", saying they were just poking fun at Flair. Nash then tells Trips to drop his suits and hang out with them tonight. Hunter says he will join them later, business comes first. HHH gives his buds "2 Sweet" and leaves. Disappointed Kevin says Hunter can be a bastard sometimes. Hall corrects his best friend... "but he's our bastard, 4 life!"

Disco is chit chatting with lovely Stacy Kiebler, when they are rudely interrupted by Vito. Italian mob is blaming Disco for his brotha's potential release, and also sends Stacy regards from The Bull! Disco makes a step forward and says that he will gladly wrestle Vito today, as he can not face Johnny at the time. LAX are sitting backstage, with some brave cameraman filming them from far away. Good zoom, brother! Shelley, is that you? Anyway, Homicide tells his boss that Rey Mysterio made them look like fools with his tooth fairy remark last week, and he suggest them to rally and stomp Rey to death! K-Dawg tells his protege to chill, hope is not lost yet. Konnan thinks that a trick with Berlyn's teeth was indeed not that impressive, and thinks they will have to do something better to impress Mysterio and get him on their side. Hernandez just flexes, he's ready to do whatever Konnan wants him too.

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Disco Inferno defeated Vito in 7:09 by pinfall with The Last Dance. 50/100
Disco was accompanied by Stacy for the first time ever, and the new alliance seemed to be working a treat. Miss Kiebler inspired Inferno for a win and joined his dance routine after the match. Vito is not happy, and his future is far from bright. At least it looks better than Bull's!

Hey, it's a skit with Buffy T! True to his word, Buff got them all into a gym, and what's better - he's a personal trainer for all of them today! Big T eats something while Bagwell shows off the equipment he has, and steps over the bench to hit some heavy weights! Buff says no-no-no, he has another task for Big T today! Bagwell leads Big T to the treadmill and introduces him to the machine. Obviously Big T forgot all about his cardio training... Trish is making photos of herself in the mirror, and Buff tells her to make some sit ups for a start, that's what all girls do! Booker finds a punching bag, but is also asked to do something completely different. Buff created a new push up routine. He proceeds to show it to Booker! Drops on his hands, brings himself up and finishes it off with a child-making motion of his crotch. Looks like he loves his rag a lot! Booker looks at that and loudly proclaims "WHAT DA HELL!??" Buff challenges him to do it too, it's harder than it looks!

DDP is heading to his office, but he stops mid-way because he can catch a smell of something pretty familiar. No, it's not teen spirit. Page knows that smell, and after taking a turn he finds Adams and Clarke hitting a joint! "Bro, I'm totally BAKED!" Page gets in the mix and slaps the weed out of the hand of Brian. People's Champ says he won't tolerate that on his show, never! What's worse, they have a match right after the commercial break. DDP breaks this news to the stoners, who just extend their arms. If Page wants them to fight - he gotta pay them for it. It looks like two wasted overgrown teens asking for pocket money from their angry dad rather than hired guns getting ready to do the job. Page says no handouts, in fact he will fine them both for being in such a state...

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Outsiders defeated KroniK in 6:35 when Scott Hall defeated Brian Adams by pinfall with a Razor's Edge. Tammy Sytch distracted Adams during the match. 69/100
Huh, Tamara wanted some TV time, she did just enough to distract the guys who exposed her to Road Warriors. Good win for Hall and Nash after their hiatus too. Tammy gave herself credit for the result, got into the ring and raised the hands of Hall and Nash. Hmm, is she picking them after Bret snubbed her? Outsiders want none of it though, and jerk their hands out of her arms. HBK's ex-GF is not a good manager material for them, bad guys laugh the woman off and leave her standing in the ring with a shocked look. Nobody wants her, how weird...

Sting is counting his steps backstage, when suddenly a pet crow lands near him. "The Icon" has no idea how the bird got here, but takes a minute to feed it. Stinger spots a little note tied to bird's foot. Sting reads the note and throws it away, now talking to the bird. "Other friends have flown before—
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before..."

Konnan is getting himself into the ring, greets the latino nation in the building and tells them to keep it 100! "Latin Fury" flips his gums for a bit, because Norman Smiley is not coming out for some time now. We hear his scream soon enough, as Hernandez and Homicide drag him to the ring. Norman tried to escape, but latino warriors were faster. "Please, I don't want to die, I'm too youung! HEELP!" Konnan mocks Norman for being such a puss. "Former CMLL world heavyweight champion, walking joke you are!"

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Konnan defeated Norman Smiley in 5:34 by submission with a Tequila Sunrise. 60/100
Solid win for K-Dawg. Konnan is holding on to the briefcase with a contract that guarantees him a match for the US title anytime, anyplace. He's not in a hurry to grab a brass ring from Hogan, he wants the eventual title win to be a milestone for hard work that he and his latino brothers are doing. Konnan is not done talking... He thought that Hall and Nash realized that they were the relics of the past, but now they are back and acting like nothing happened. "Latin Fury" says they ran away from the company like a bunch of pansy girls and let the NWO die in a pathetic fashion. He, Hernandez and Homicide would never do that. They are ready to fight for their beliefs till death and after it! "LAX 5150 Hasta La Muerte Y Después!!" Konnan says next time Nash will hear a click in his head, his brains will be splattered all over the place! Soldiers cap it off with a menacing pose, doesn't look like they're joking!

Crowbar thanks DDP for the opportunity to face Flair tonight, it's a chance he didn't even expect to get. Daffney is in the room too, snapping a ruler from the table. She puts half of it on the table while pushing the edge down. That makes a funny sound, but it doesn't last long because Kimberly, Crowbar and DDP look at her with their eyebrows raised. Daffney asks why DDP needs a ruler anyway?? Silence, commissioner then asks what Daffney plans to do in her life? Daff starts giggling, she wants to be spacewoman!!

- Ok... so you like stars then?
- Mhm, yes!!
- Do you want to be one?
- Don't be silly Mr. People's Champ, it's impossible.
- Well, don't be so categorical. I can see that happening if you put your name on this magical paper. Here's a pen, my favorite.

Daffney looks at the pen and after studying it for a bit she scraps her name on the paper. And then draws a skull and bones, to make it look even cooler. "You can borrow that pen, consider that a signing bonus!" Daffney looks at Crowbar who is now sure of the fact that is a special pen. Weirdos leave the room, DDP and Kim look at each other without dropping a word for a while. "It's all about variety, Kim. She's different..."

Quote:
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero defeated Arische Rasse in 8:27 when Chris Benoit defeated Wilhelm by submission with a Crippler Crossface. During the match Jacob was kidnapped by the LAX. 71/100
One would think big guys like Jacob can't be kidnapped. But Homicide and Hernandez threw a bag on the head of a shaved german and carried him away somewhere, while Konnan distracted the ref. Wilhelm tried to save his twin, but only got himself in the Crossface. Berlyn comes out and tries to give chase to the gangsters, but they are gone now. Confused Eddie raises Benoit's arm, Konnan turns his back on "Latino Heat" to avoid conflicts.

Hertha is in the office with Berlyn, who tries to figure out what those gangsters did to one of his bodyguards? DDP has no idea but promises to find out soon. Berlyn rants angrily on german and Wilhelm is looking scared for his twin. They set their feet for exit, but then Page asks Hertha to stick around for a minute. He wants her to feature in the resurrected women's division and asks to put her name on the list. Hertha says she will do it herself, and then spots that she's not the first woman to be approached. Hertha's ego is hurt, she lets DDP know about that. She's the top woman wrestler in the world, and when it's all said and done, she'll be the face of the division. It gets tense when Kanyon steps into the office with a guilty look on his face! He lied to DDP about taking a few days off only to jump Revolution in Japan and get his boss in trouble. "Look, DDP, I will make it up for you! Just give me a chance! How about I take on Meng, knock him out and bring you back that briefcase you tried to get from him? I've beaten him before!" DDP cracks a smile and tells him to get ready, cause he's next!

A little promotional video hypes up our upcoming pay-per-view card. Goldberg/Bret Hart match is the focal point, but we will also see Benoit and Guerrero trying to dethrone Buffy T again, Psicosis defending his title against Rey Mysterio and Road Warriors brawling it out with Team 3D! In the next few weeks this card will get even bigger and better, so don't waste any time and pre-order it now!

Quote:
In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Meng defeated Kanyon in 8:03 by submission with a Tongan Death Grip. 62/100
Meng's new role as a "guardian of the briefcase" is a hit. That avage holds the item dearly to his chest, and when somebody tries to get it away from him, he snaps!! Kanyon kept kicking out, but couldn't withstand the toughness and temper of the islander. Good win for Meng, he goes back to his precious thing after the match and leaves silently. Kanyon gave his 100% though, so props to him. Rumor has it, that because of his antics Revolution will be sent back to WCW very soon.

Kimberly helps her husband fill out the forms while he was watching that match, but looks like she doesn't want to be there. After Hertha, Lita gets in the office and after a couple of words traded and looks exchanged she puts her name on the list. DDP says he can't wait for this division to start it's new life, also adds he has high hopes for Lita. "Queen of Extreme" hopes it will be a success. Kimberly has her fingers crossed for that to never happen... Lita leaves, Page is happy that they could get 4 girls involved already. Dallas talks almost to himself, saying that he plans to have 8 women in his division for a start.

Suddenly, Essa Rios barges into the room and he's not looking pleased. Rios says he's very unhappy that management forgot about him and gives some women who don't even know how to wrestle a whole tournament! Rios mentions that if it wasn't to him, Lita wouldn't even be here! DDP is taken aback, looks like Essa prepared this rant for weeks, but now the last drop pushed him over the edge. Rios demands an opportunity to prove himself, a match to show everyone how much he can do in the ring. DDP stretches and says Essa did the right thing coming to his office and telling it like it is. DDP values the boldness of this sort and says that Essa will have a match next week. Rios can't believe it, and asks who he's going to wrestle? "This guy..." - Page points at a short blonde guy who mops the floor in the corner of his room. Shannon Moore, former towel boy for Curt Hennig! Rios can't believe it, and leaves the room fuming. DDP congratulates Shannon, he paid his dues and next week he will debut as a singles act! Moore is shocked, water drips from the mop on the floor for so long that it creates a pool. La Parka enters the office next and slips on that pool immediately... Bad day at the office for "The Chairman"!

Quote:
In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Ric Flair defeated Crowbar in 9:53 by submission with a Figure-Four Leg Lock. 71/100
This was a big test for Crowbar, and he might just pass it with flying colors. Of course he lost, but he hanged with "The Dirtiest Player In The Game" for almost ten minutes! Daffney did help him in the match, using her newly discovered pen on Ric!! "Nature Boy" started bleeding from his forehead, but ended the match with Crowbar tapping out in the middle of the ring. Triple H joined Ric after the match and grabbed Daffney with him. Pedigree!! Girl eats canvas, Hunter pushes Crowbar out of the ring. "The Game" then says that scum like Crowbar are not par with the greatest pro wrestler of all time! WOOOO! Ric struts and says his night is not over yet, entertaining the idea of dragging Daffney into his hotel room. He then stops, tells that David has a bad taste in women and that he disappointed his father once again! Last commercial break of the night.

Sting found the place. He is on the doorstep of the spiritual escape. Raven told him about the way to cure all his wounds, and now it's only a matter of Stingers choice. Door looks really simple, no signs or surnames on it. Sting puts his ear to it... silence. "The Icon" smirks, and grabs his bat tighter. He probably expects Meng to be there, but nothing's for sure. Sting kicks the door in, and a really weird sight is unfolding before his very own eyes. What feels like a million camera flashes, lots of buzz and way more people than he expected to see. Hey, he knows some of them!

"Ladies, gentlemen, idiots, floozies and reprobates, it's showtime! Welcome to The Raven Effect, with my co-host, Lex Luger! He says in his analogy of cakes as ratings, he is the yeast that makes them rise, he also has a yeast infection between his thighs... He thinks he's dope, so super sly, but can't understand why big bird can't fly! He said he would laugh at Stan Hansen's lariat and never eats in restaurants, he only gets carry out! But he's still moreover he may boast, than Father, Son or Holy Ghost..." Raven is rambling like a mad man, using a highly unusual tone for his so-called introduction. Sting doesn't understand what did he just walk into, but he sure as hell wants to get out as soon as possible. Sting looks over the room full of journalists... It feels like a press conference lounge, but looks like a house of grunge. Raven is done introducing Luger, who by the way looks lost, and is about to start the same procedure for the guest. Sting stops Raven mid word and asks where is he? "Shut up, I haven't introduced you yet!"

Sting doesn't let him start nor finish, so our hardcore champion just points at the couch, encouraging his rival to sit back and relax. And also turn the TV on! But why? Sting thinks "why not" and starts a video footage, pressing the button… It's a tribute to him and Lex Luger! It started well, lots of bright colors, pompous music and solid sound bites... Sting and Lex were captivated by their own greatness. Then it got worse... the video started showing the low points of their careers. Fascinating stuff! Sting sees the finish of Starrcade 1997, his time in the Wolfpac and lots of losses he had over his career. Lex is also forced to watch how he lost the world title five days after winning it, how Perry Saturn almost broke his neck and how he was fooled by a Feast or Fired briefcase prop. The footage says the worst moments of their careers are still waiting ahead, but tonight marks one of the darkest ones. As Sting and Luger watch the movie on the big screen, people leave. Where's Raven? Screen turns white, lighting the room. They are left alone and the door just shut close behind their back.

"One of you will leave this room,
other one will face the gloom.
You have minutes to explore,
Quote The Raven... Nevermore!
"

Sting and Luger look at each other. They both don't like the setting and prepare to leave. Lex turns all serious, only one of them can leave the room! Sting tells Luger to quit fooling around and starts heading to exit, but Lex himself tells Sting to quit being a jerk! Frustrations grow, for some reason Luger starts battering Sting! Lex is tired of losing and will not come second... His ego is even bigger than his body, but you already knew that. Sting then embraces the fight and we see former best friends coming unglued.

Quote:
Sting defeated Lex Luger in 8:49... 79/100
Stinger closes the door behind him, leaving Lex in a pile of wreckage from the massive TV screen. A wild brawl, a nonsensical scuffle, a trip to remember. That was a weird room, built in Raven’s mind. He stepped out of it as a winner. But did he find the spiritual escape?? One thing is for sure… nothing’s for sure.

Final Rating: 81/100 (4.29 on TBS)
This show was hella weird...
