WWF Monday Night RAW, July 1996, Week Four
Prediction Key

The Natural Disasters vs The Executioners
Comments: Squash...literally

Chris Jericho vs Steve Corino
Comments:

WWF World Tag Team Championship Match
The New Age Outlaws (C) vs Edge & Christian
Comments: heel v heel? or are one of these turning?

WWF Cruiserweight Championship Match
Chris Benoit (C) vs ???
Who Is ???: Rey
Comments: Rey picked up a big win against Ramon the other week, so could well deserve a shot. Benoit is Neville at the moment and seems unstoppable in this division, imagine it will be a big PPV when he loses the title

Adam Clarke vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley
Comments: Clarkes a top guy but does seem able to take a loss. with HHH turning on perfect this would be a good win for him and then maybe a mic moment to say why he stabbed Curt in the back

Owen Hart vs The British Bulldog
Comments: I can potentially see this being a non contest with a Vader interruption destroying both guys......or maybe HBK will do something

Thoughts on In Your House: Canadian Stampede
Really good show...highlights for me was the HHH attack on Curt, and the head shave on Austin, the later being my most favourite moment as it really sets up the Austin that we all grew to love and its been done in such a good way...... I do wonder where the ringmaster Lance Storm is tho??

Thanks, the tag team ladder match was some of the most fun I've had writing in all of my time writing dynasties.

Clarke deserves the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. When he'll get it, we'll just have to wait and see.

No, I've been experimenting with Face vs Face and Heel vs Heel matchups recently.

Lance Storm has been a victim of being lost in the shuffle, I've got plans for him though.

Thank you to everyone for your predictions/comments so far! Make sure to get them in if you haven't already, because this is a 24 Hour Prediction Warning.

I was a little surprised to see Owen walk out still with the title, could he perhaps end up being as strong a champ as Bret once was? Time will tell!

Natural Disasters
Chris Jericho
New Age Outlaws
Chris Benoit - Berlyn? I don't think he's gotten a title shot yet.

WWF Monday Night RAW, July 1996, Week Four
Attendance: 11,043 at ON Maple Leaf Gardens
Commentary Team: Jim Ross, Vince McMahon, & Jerry Lawler

Quote:

Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Vince, Jim, & Jerry quickly recap the events of last night's IYH: Canadian Stampede before Owen Hart makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop! Owen says that last night he proved that he is the greatest superstar in the WWF today when he outlasted three other men to retain his WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Owen says that the WWF keeps throwing challengers at him and no one can defeat him. It doesn't matter if it's a singles match or a multi-man match, the outcome will always be the same, Owen Hart will still be the WWF World Heavyweight Champion! Before Owen can continue...

The British Bulldog makes his way down to the ring!

Bulldog says that if Owen is looking for a challenger, then he should be at the front of the line. Bulldog says that the only reason he doesn't have the WWF World Heavyweight Championship around his waist right now is because of that snobby punk William Regal. Bulldog says that he knows that Owen doesn't have the stones to fight him tonight, because he knows he will lose. Owen interrupts and says that he'll fight Bulldog anytime and anywhere, that includes tonight! Bulldog finishes by saying that Owen doesn't know what he just got himself into.

Quote:
VS
The Natural Disasters vs The Executioners
Earthquake made his return to the WWF at IYH: Canadian Stampede by saving Typhoon from a beatdown from The Samoan Studs. This match is nothing more than a squash match that The Natural Disasters completely dominate. Earthquake finishes off Pain in just under five minutes after he hits him with the Earthquake Splash (Running Seated Senton).
WINNERS: The Natural Disasters

Quote:

After that match is over, The Natural Disasters celebrate in the ring until...

Tennessee Lee appears on the video screen!

Lee says that he & The Samoan Studs are already back in America, because they have spent too much time in a hell hole like Canada for one year. Lee says that The Samoan Studs want to send a messsage to The Natural Disasters, though. Lee says that The Samoan Studs want The Natural Disasters in a match at Summerslam and they'll even put their WWF Intercontinental Tag Team Titles on the line to get it! Lee finishes by saying that The Samoan Studs are the most dominant team in WWF history and they will prove that at Summerslam.

Quote:
VS
Chris Jericho vs Steve Corino
Jericho was last seen at IYH: Canadian Stampede where he was unsuccessful in winning the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. This match is nothing more than a squash match that Jericho completely dominates. Jericho finishes off Corino in just under five minutes after hitting him with the Codebreaker.
WINNER: Chris Jericho

Quote:

After the match is over, Chris Jericho grabs a microphone. Jericho says that he was screwed out of a WWF World Heavyweight Championship singles match last night, but that's in the past. Jericho says that he's focused on the future, he's focused on Summerslam. Jericho says that he won't be wrestling at Summerslam, but he will still be at Summerslam. Jericho says that he will be hosting the first ever episode of The Highlight Reel at Summerslam! Jericho says that his talk show will be better than every other talk show that has graced the airwaves of the world. Jericho finishes by saying that he is the best in the world and no one can take that away from him!

Quote:

WWF World Tag Team Championship Match
VS
The New Age Outlaws (C) vs Edge & Christian
Edge & Christian won this opportunity when they defeated The Hardy Boyz in a number one contender's ladder match at IYH: Canadian Stampede. This match is a good match and the crowd is solidly behind Edge & Christian. Edge & Gunn start the match off with Edge hitting Gunn with a dropkick. Edge throws Gunn into the corner and hits him with a running shoulder block. Edge attempts a lifting DDT, but Gunn reverses it and hits Edge with a dropkick. Gunn tags out to Road Dogg, who hits Edge with a couple of jabs before hitting Edge with a belly to belly suplex. Dogg attempts a pumphandle slam, but Edge reverses it into a hurricanrana. Edge tags out to Christian, who hits Road Dogg with a leaping lariat. The match comes to an end when Christian attempts a German suplex, but Dogg reverses it into a powerbomb! Before Dogg can do anything else...

*BOOM*

Fire explodes from the ringposts as Kane & Mankind make their way down to the ring!

Kane hits Dogg with a throat thrust as referee Jack Doan calls for the DQ. Kane picks up Dogg for a chokeslam, but Gunn runs in to stop him. However, Kane grabs Gunn by the throat and chokeslams both members of The New Age Outlaws! Kane & Mankind pose menacingly in the ring as we go to commercials.
WINNERS: The New Age Outlaws (By DQ)

Quote:

We're back from commercials and Chris Benoit makes his way down to the ring with a microphone. Benoit says that last night he must of not made his point clear enough, because he wants to take care of another cruiserweight. Benoit says that he's beaten the best in the world, so it doesn't matter who fights him, so just send his opponent out! After a short pause, his opponent appears, none other than...

Who?

The man makes his way down to the ring and the commentators quickly identify him as Mikey Whipwreck! Benoit laughs in the ring to himself, but he is then hit with a Thesz press from Whipwreck! Referee Mike Chioda calls the for the bell and the match has begun!

Quote:

WWF Cruiserweight Championship Match
VS
Chris Benoit (C) vs Mikey Whipwreck
Benoit defended his WWF Cruiserweight Championship successfully last night against Jushin Thunder Liger. This match is a good match and the crowd is solidly behind Mikey. Whipwreck tries to continue his assault on Benoit, but Benoit throws Mikey off and hits him with a running knee strike. Benoit throws Whipwreck into the corner and hits him with a stiff knife edge chop. Benoit attempts a diving headbutt, but Mikey rolls out of the way. Mikey goes to the top rope and attempts a top rope sunset flip, but Benoit reverses it into a hurricanrana. Benoit throws Whipwreck off the ropes and hits him with a back body drop. The match comes to an end when Benoit tries locking in the Crippler Crossface, but Whipwreck reverses it and rolls him up for the three! A stunned Whipwreck grabs the WWF Cruiserweight Championship and high tails it out of the ring as the crowd chants "MIKEY! MIKEY! MIKEY!"
WINNER: Mikey Whipwreck

Quote:

After that shocking upset, we cut to Hunter Hearst Helmsley backstage. Helmsley seems to have undergone some sort of image change as he is letting his hair down and wearing a leather coat. Helmsley says that Hunter Hearst Helmsley is gone and Triple H is here to become the greatest superstar the WWF has ever seen. Triple H says that he has one very important thing to say to Mr. Perfect, because all the fans have been dying to hear it. Triple H finishes by saying that Mr. Perfect can suck it!

Quote:
VS
Adam Clarke vs Triple H
Triple H was last seen at IYH: Canadian Stampede where he turned on his manager Mr. Perfect. Meanwhile, Clarke was last seen at IYH: Canadian Stampede in a losing effort in the WWF World Heavyweight Championship match. This match is a good match and the crowd is solidly behind Clarke. Clarke & Helmsley start the match off with a collar and elbow tie-up, in which Triple H hits Clarke with a suplex. Triple H throws Clarke into the corner and hits him with a knife edge chop. H tells Clarke to suck it and hits Clarke with a spinebuster. H attempts a belly to belly suplex, but Clarke reverses it into an exploder suplex. Clarke picks up Triple H and hits him with an atomic drop. Clarke throws H off the ropes and hits him with a back body drop. Clarke attempts a powerslam, but Triple H wiggles out of it and hits Clarke with a spinebuster. Triple H throws Clarke into the corner and hits him with a knife edge chop. The match comes to an end when Triple H attempts the Pedigree, but before he can hit it...

Mr. Perfect appears on the ramp!

This distracts Triple H long enough for Adam Clarke to reverse the Pedigree and hit the Meltdown! Clarke covers Triple H and gets the three!
WINNER: Adam Clarke

Quote:

After that match is over, we cut to The British Bulldog backstage. Bulldog says that he may have lost to William Regal last night, but he'll prove tonight that he is toughest man in the WWF! Bulldog says that Owen is nothing more than a whiny punk who deserves nothing. Bulldog says that Owen better be thanking his lucky stars that he is still the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, because he doesn't deserve to hold that title. Bulldog finishes by saying that he'll prove that tonight when he kicks Owen's a**!

Quote:
VS
Owen Hart vs The British Bulldog
Owen was last seen at IYH: Canadian Stampede where he successfully denfended the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal four way match. Meanwhile, Bulldog was also last seen at IYH: Canadian Stampede where he lost to William Regal. This match is a great match and the crowd is split between both men. Owen & Bulldog start the match off with a collar and elbow tie-up, in which Bulldog hits Owen with a belly to belly suplex. Bulldog throws Owen into the corner and hits him with a knife edge chop. Bulldog sets Owen up in a kneeling position and kicks him square in the head. Bulldog picks up Owen and hits him with a military press slam. Bulldog attempts a powerslam, but Owen reverses it into a German suplex. Owen locks in a dragon sleeper, but Bulldog manages to wiggle out of it and hit Owen with a dropkick. Bulldog throws Owen off the ropes and hits him with a spinebuster. The match comes to an end when Bulldog attempts the Running Powerslam, but Owen wiggles out of it and hits Bulldog with an exploder suplex! Owen then locks in the Sharpshooter! Bulldog tries reaching for the ropes, but he eventually passes out from the pain, giving the win to Owen.
WINNER: Owen Hart

Quote:

After the match is over, Owen Hart celebrates his win until...

Goldust makes his way down to the ring!

Goldust says that the biggest event of the Summer is coming up, Summerslam! Goldust says that Owen Hart needs an opponent and he thinks he's found the perfect one. After Owen asks who it is...

*GONG*

*GONG*

*GONG*

IT'S THE UNDERTAKER!

Undertaker makes his way down to the ring and slowly begins staring down Owen. Undertaker continues to stare down Owen as RAW comes to a close.
