David Bowers: $1.2M
Miguel Arteta: $4M

Sofia Carson: Likewise for her, she is willing to cut it down to $0.7M
Kira Kosarin: $1.1M
Rowan Blanchard: She would love to play the villain, so she cuts to $0.7M
Bella Thorne: She wants to move on from family films for now.
Mary Stuart Masterson: $0.4M
Jennifer Jason Leigh: She likes the script proposal and is willing to cut down to $0.9M.
Olivia Rose Keegan: $0.4M
Lizzy Greene: $0.3M
Yara Shahidi: $0.5M
China Anne McClain: $0.6M
OK, gang, it's time! Todos Santos Studios is proud to announce the development of its first feature of Movie Tycoon 7, "The Midnight Riders!"
TITLE: "The Midnight Riders"
GENRE: Buddy Comedy
PLOT SUMMARY: Two retired, reformed contraband runners, attempting to honor a fallen friend’s dying wish in the early-1960’s, stumble onto a dead body and are forced back into their own lives out of fear. Between the law on their tails and a mafia boss monitoring their every move, can the two anti-heroes find some way out of this mess?
RATING: PG-13 (language, action, violence, crude humor)
DISTRIBUTION SIZE: Abstain until after negotiations
DIRECTOR: We’d like to speak with MT5 friend Penny Marshall, as well as David Bowers and Adam McKay.
LEAD: Roger Lewis
Hailing from the wrong side of the tracks (and proud of it), Lewis has long been a loner. He’s long been one of the most trusted runners of illegal materials anywhere in the country, and his lack of close friendships (aside from his bonds with Eric and Craig) and love for fast cash has made him a natural mule. He’s the more business-like, calculating man of the two surviving runners, and serves as the “straight man” of that duo.
We’re approaching Gary Oldman, Bryan Cranston, Steve Martin, and William Shatner.
LEAD: Eric Woods
Eric and Roger were a dynamic duo in the 1930’s, and made a killing running bootleg alcohol and other illicit materials before getting out of the game. Unlike Roger, Eric is very loose, has a spectacular sense of humor, and is very reluctant to get back into the smuggling world due to having a family to focus on.
We’d like to speak with Bill Murray, Bob Saget, and Martin Short.
SUPPORTING: Luke Petros
Luke Petros is the antagonist of this film. He calls himself a venture capitalist, but in truth, he’s a mob boss that capitalizes on volatile situations by selling violence and illegal temptations to both sides of each conflict. When word gets to him that a murder plot he could be behind has been stumbled upon by Roger and Eric, he attempts to bring them under his thumb to squash the threat.
We’re most interested in John Stamos, but we’ll also put feelers out to John Travolta and Roger Bart.
SUPPORTING: Tom Howard
Tom Howard is the FBI agent assigned to the murder of the man discovered by Roger and Eric, which is believed to be the work of Petros’s agency. He attempts to leverage Roger and Eric into helping with his investigation after tracking them down, which is something nobody in law enforcement was able to do prior to that.
For this role, we need someone with comedy chops that can also have some legitimacy as someone in law enforcement. We’re approaching Gary Oldman (yes, for both this part and Roger Lewis), Dan Aykroyd, Ice Cube, and Jason Sudeikis.
MINOR: Leanne Woods
Leanne is Eric’s wife, and the woman who convinced him to step away from his life of crime once he’d socked enough money away to retire. She’s far from crazy about Eric’s reluctant return to that world, and things don’t get much better for her (or her daughter) as the movie goes on.
We’re interested in speaking with Laura Linney, who we feel is tailor-made for this role. We’d also like to speak with Jane Lynch and Idina Menzel.
MINOR: Lily Woods
Lily is Eric and Leanne’s sole child, a college-aged daughter whose education is funded on the back of blood money Eric earned years earlier. She’s caught square in the middle of her parents’ conflict, and her taking her studies seriously turns out to be a key plot point in the second half of the film.
We’re most interested in Ariel Winter and Sabrina Carpenter, but we’d also like to chat with Emma Roberts and Abigail Breslin.
MINOR: Craig Davidson
Appearing only in a few scenes (flashbacks/dream sequences), Davidson has recently died, and it’s his last wish to have his ashes scattered in what appears to be a nondescript field three states away. He possesses a mix of Lewis’s ruthless cunning and Woods’s biting comedy chops, and he has absolutely no problem taking those close to him to the proverbial woodshed (especially if it breaks the tension in a room).
We’re in talks with Nick Offerman, John Mulaney, and Nick Kroll.
For Young Trudy, I'll take Carpenter. Love the enthusiasm and I hope it translates on the screen.
For Olivia, Sofia Carson has a deal.
Really happy to hear about Blanchard's enthusiasm since Bella Thorne lack interested. Blanchard has a deal. As for Bella, we understand and we hope to have something for her down the road.
While we like MSM, we love the reception our proposal's gotten and therefore will take the more enthusiastic Leigh.
For Darcy, I'll take Keegan. Know her work from Days Of Our Lives and have every confidence in her.
And Felicia, Shahidi has a deal. Coming at a slight bargain despite major network exposure is a deal hard to pass up.
Todos Santos Studios has entered in to a bidding war with Amalgamated Artists over David Bowers.
LEADING BID: $1.2M (Amalgamated Artists)
(If there are no new offers by Todos Santos Studios by 30th of April 0:00 GMT, David Bowers will automatically sign with Amalgamated Artists)
Amalgamated Artists' TO BE A FRIEND Negotiations
Everyone else has signed on except for David Bowers as a bidding war may ensue.
Todos Santos Studios' THE MIDNIGHT RIDERS Negotiations
Penny Marshall: She'd love to direct a feature film once more, so she's willing to cut down to $1.2M.
David Bowers: You would have to beat Amalgamated Artists' $1.2M (so at least $1.3M) to get him to sign.
Adam McKay: $3.1M
(LEAD) Gary Oldman: He feels he would be great in this role. He's willing to cut down to $1.6M
Bryan Cranston: $3.4M
Steve Martin: He is not interested in the role at this time.
William Shatner: He likes the script...but still wants $2.2M! It's William Shatner, what did you expect?
Bill Murray: $2.3M
Bob Saget: $1.6M
Martin Short: He thinks he'd be far better as Roger Lewis instead. If you're set on him playing Eric, he wants $1.8M. For the part of Roger Lewis, he would drop down to $1.5M
John Stamos: $0.7M
John Travolta: He likes the proposed role and is willing to cut down to $1.2M
Roger Bart: $0.4M
(SUPP) Gary Oldman: $1.3M
Dan Aykroyd: $1.1M
Ice Cube: $1.1M
Jason Sudeikis: $1.5M
Laura Linney: $0.3M
Jane Lynch: $250K
Idina Menzel: $140K
Ariel Winter: $130K
Sabrina Carpenter: She would otherwise be interested, but would rather work on the bigger proposed role by Amalgamated Artists.
Emma Roberts: $100K
Abigail Breslin: She thinks she is too big for a minor role in a production this size.
Nick Offerman: $220K
John Mulaney: $80K
Nick Kroll: $110K
Bourbon Street Productions is proud to announce it's first movie, Dixie's Garden.
TITLE: Dixie's Garden
GENRE: It's kind of difficult to describe, of the available options i would say a Romantic-Drama, but it also has something of a Roadmovie.
PLOT SUMMARY: Two Men, both around 30 years old and very, very Different. Jack, Barkeeper at "Dixies Garden" and Garrett, a free journalist, both in a relationship with the young Amanda, without knowing each other. Amanda is a very special woman who gives everybody what they need but still kind of lives in her own world. Suddenly, one day, Amanda is gone. Jack is going to search her and meets Garrett. Together they form an unlikely team to search for Amanda, but they both want to have Amanda for themself.
DISTRIBUTION SIZE: TBA
DIRECTOR: Ryan Coogler, Oliver Stone or Kathryn Bigelow
EDIT: also asking Jodie Foster.
Barkeeper at Dixie's Garden a small bar where he mostly works the nightshifts. He is somebody who does not really have something like a long lasting plan for his life, he takes it day by day and his flat represents his spartan lifestyle. His car is not very well maintained and it is very important to him not to lose himself in any daydreams.
Before Bourbon Street Productions is even thinking about other People, we would like to talk to Taylor Lautner.
He is a free yournalist journalist and about the same Age as Jack, but that is where the similaritys end. He likes his normal life and his job. Always dressed to impress, he hopes that soon he gets a regular job at the Newspaper he most of the time works for. But there is this little pinch in the back of his head that questions if that is really the life he wants.
BSP wrote the Charakter with Daniel Radcliffe in mind. So of course, we approach him first. Another Person we could imagine in this role is Daniel Kaluuya.
A nurse who is in a relationship with both, Garrett and Jack at the same time. She is the happy-go-lucky kind of person and has this special ability to give every person what they desire. When she suddenly disappears, both man are going on a road Trip to find her. But she has a problem, a problem, that Jack and Garrett have no idea of...
We could imagine Emma Watson, Emma Stone, Emilia Clarke and Abigail Breslin in this Role.
Nathan "Sheriff" Williams
He is the Owner of Dixie's Garden and Jacks Boss. Nobody knows why he named the Bar that way, he never tells the Story. Whenever somebody asks him, he just answers that this is a story for another time. The Name Sheriff comes from his likes of Cowboyhats.
We would be interested to speak to Dylan Walsh, Jon Hamm and Patrick Warburton.
He is a regular at Dixie's Garden but nobody really knows much about him. They don't know where Lucas works or if he even has a job. He spends the Nights at the Bar drinking and not paiing his bills. After Amanda is gone, he brings Garrett and Jack together since both on their own don't really know much about Amanda.
We would like to talk to Nathan Fillion, Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe.
Amandas Father enjoys his retirement alone since his wife died years ago. He is worried about his daughter which often sends him letters where she is. He does not necessarily disaprove of her lifestyle, but he would prefere it, if she would live a normal life like any other woman. He is the one who brings the duo on track and tells them where they have to look for Amanda.
We are approaching Dustin Hoffman and Friedrich von Thun.
Owner of a small motel. He knows Amanda since she was there a couple of times. He does not really want to help Jack and Garrett but he offers them a deal, since he has other plans. If they take care of the motel for the night while he is gone, he tells them where Amanda is.
Maybe a stupid idea but Bourbon Street Production has to think about Stu Bennett when it comes to pulling of a loudmouth jerk who has no interest in helping others without having a benifit. Other People we could immagine in this Role are Peter Dinklage and Julian McMahon.
Abigail is one of the Guests in the Motel. She is a little bit like a modern day drifter. She travels with her Guitar around the Country and sings in small Bars and Clubs. Garrett meets her while he is walking around in the Motel and they spend the night together talking about Love and the World.
Bourbon Street Productions thinks Emily Blunt would fit perfect in this role, but would be also interested to speak with Ellen Page and Taylor Swift.
Paul is Amandas Husband and lives alone in Louisville. He is the one who tells Jack and Garrett the whole story of Amanda.
We would be interested in hiring Topher Grace for this role.
UPDATE: As i am 80 Percent done writing the movie, i realised that Amanda is more a lead than a supporting role so i moved her up to the lead roles.

I never got this one ready in time for the end of the last Movie Tycoon, so I'll give it a go and if it's too expensive, I'll go for a different idea, as the 3 leads are a bit set in stone in my head.
PLOT SUMMARY: James Holmes is a file room clerk at Los Angeles's largest detective agency, but uses the fact that he works there and his last name to pick up women. Wanting to be an actual detective, he hires an out of work actor he meets at a bar to become his nemesis, the Moriarty to his Holmes. But the actor actually does a brilliant job as a villain, and James and his boss need to work together to catch the villain before he ruins James' life.
DISTRIBUTION SIZE: Local
James Holmes - A cocky, underemployed file clerk at the detective/PI agency. He likes to party and doesn't take much of life seriously. His last name isn't actually Holmes; he lied because it sounded more detective-y.
William Dawson - A former cop, he runs the detective agency with something of an iron fist. He's no nonsense at work, and plays the straight-man to most of Holmes's antics in the film. Understandably peeved at Holmes' mistake that sets up the story, he agrees to help because James can pay.
[Villain, Name TBD] - This role could go one of 2 ways depending on who I get. The first choice is Patrick Stewart, in which case he just plays himself as a diabolical villain. If it's not Patrick Stewart in this role, then the role is similar but the name would be made up and he'd be a washed up drunk of an actor.
Stephanie Colton - A girl James picks up in a bar in the first act. They interact a little bit throughout the the film (maybe not even directly, just shots of James texting?), then she gets to be the damsel in distress in the climax of the movie.
Director - I'd like to get quotes from Edgar Wright and James Gunn to start with.
James Holmes - First choice is James Franco, if he's too expensive, I think it could work with James Roday or Dave Franco.
William Dawson - I can only picture Keanu Reeves in this role.
[Villain] - I'd like to get quotes from Patrick Stewart as well as Christopher Walken and Jared Leto.
Stephanie Colton - Casting pending based on prices of other roles.
First of all, Todos Santos Studios is not interested in a bidding war (for now...), so Amalgamated Artists can have David Bowers. We wish them luck.
With that being said, here's the full cast/crew of "The Midnight Riders!"
- Penny Marshall will direct and be paid $1,200,000.
- We love Gary Oldman's enthusiasm for the role of Roger Lewis, and he was our first choice from the get-go. He'll be paid $1,600,000.
- Bob Saget has been hired to play Eric Woods, and he'll also be paid $1,600,000.
- John Stamos has been cast as Luke Petros, and he'll get $700,000. Hopefully his chemistry with former "Full House" co-star (and good friend) Bob Saget pays dividends for us!
- Dan Aykroyd has been hired to portray Tom Howard, and he'll be paid $1,100,000. It's a bit more than we were anticipating, but he'll be a good fit.
- We're excited to work with Laura Linney, who will play Leanne Woods and be paid $300,000.
- Ariel Winter will play Lily Woods and be paid $130,000.
- We wrote the role of Craig Davidson with Nick Offerman in mind, so we're happy to have him on board for $220,000.
The total bill for the cast and crew comes out to $6.85 million. With that in mind, we will spend $2 million on marketing and the remaining $1.15 million on production. This puts our distribution size at 0, but hopefully, we can work some magic and make a little money.
I'm hoping to have this up within the next 48 hours, and I'm excited to get this underway!
HawkProInc are back with out first movie of this game.
Title: Future Shock
Plot Summary: Jack Jones is in the army in 1943 one minute and then the next he's in 2016. If struggling with coming to terms with this drastic change isn't enough then it is made even worse by the fact that an incompetent detective named James Rowe has mistaken him for a crook who stole a precious diamond and tries to hunt him down.
Director: We would like to contact Jordan Peele, Edgar Wright and Steven Soderbergh
Jack Jones-Jack never wanted to join the army but when all his friends and family signed up, he felt pressurised into signing up. He is a fairly timid and awkward yet humorous character who isn't a fan of violence and he gets by during the war thanks to his best friend Joe King. When he wakes in modern times he has to try his best to adapt to modern times all while being on the run from the police.
For this role we would like to contact Jack Black, Simon Pegg, James Franco and Jeremy Renner
Courtney Roads-Courtney is a beautiful young woman and an aspiring actress who happens to be the first person that Jack meets when he wakes up. A light-hearted and dedicated woman, she tries to help this man even when things start to get weird. We would like to contact Karen Gillan, Brie Larson, Daisy Ridley and Alicia Vikander
DCI James Rowe-DCI Rowe is considered the greatest detective alive today or at least you would think he is by the way he talks about himself. In reality, James is a terrible detective who somehow keeps getting opportunities to redeem himself. One of those opportunities rises when he (wrongly) identifies Jack Jones as a man who stole a diamond worth $12 million and tries to bring him in. We would like to contact David Oyelewo, Michael B. Jordan and Daniel Kaluuya
Joe King-Unlike Jack, Joe decided to sign up the army not because of pressure but because of the pride and glory that came with it. Like Jack he is a friendly character who always makes jokes no matter whether it is bad taste or not and it is this shared humour that helps the two to survive through the harshness that comes with being at war. The role will include a minor scene in modern day which will require a lot of makeup (don't know if I needed to add this so I did it anyway). For this role we would like to contact Brett Dalton, Nick Blood and James Marsden
Martin Jackson-The actual thief of the $12 million diamond who for obvious reasons is on the run. The joke here is that in fact he looks nothing like Jack Jones and this just continues to prove that James Rowe is a terrible detective. For this role we would like to contact Sebastian Stan, Ansel Elgort and Steven Yeun
JJ Jones-The grandson of Jack Jones' brother, Kane, who is older than Jack Jones now than Jack was in 1943. He will try to help his great-uncle escape from the idiots trying to catch him. We would like to contact Luke Evans, James Franco (if not cast as lead) and Bill Skarsgard
Amalgamated Artists and Todos Santos Studios are free to proceed to the post-production phase.

Drakestooth Studios' HOLMES Negotiations
Edgar Wright: $2.6M

James Roday: He thinks this is good for his career, $900K

Jared Leto: His manager first thought you called Leto a washed up drunk of an actor, but once that's sorted, his price is $2.7M
I'll get to HawkProInc's movie later (as there's people there to be added to the talent database), just letting you both know James Franco would prefer Holmes over Future Shock, so even if Drakestooth would like to sign him, there isn't going to be a bidding war.
Bourbon Street Productions is happy to announce that the following actresses and actors have joined the cast.
Emma Watson as Amanda Fawx ($2.0 Mio.)
Jon Hamm as "Sheriff" Williams ($300K)
Nathan Fillion as Bud ($200K)
Dustin Hoffman as Randolph Hartman ($500K)
Peter Dinklage as Edward Boyle ($250K)
Topher Grace as Paul Fawx ($180K)
Now to the rest:
As much as Bourbon Street Productions would like to hire Taylor Lautner, but 2,7 Mio. are a bit too much at the moment. Instead we would like to talk to Mr. Radcliffe and Mr. Kaluuya if one of them could imagine them in the role of Jack Donovan.
Now to the directors: Stone, Foster and Bigelow are way to expensive. We would like to negotiate with Mr. Coogler, if he could work with a paycut in the Exchange that he will be first in line to direct Bourbon Streets next movie too, which will be called "Meathook", a Sports-Drama.
Last but not least, since Emily Blunt and Ellen Page are not interested in the role of Abigail Dobson and Taylor Swift unfortunatly is on tour, we would like to contact Keira Knightly, Kirsten Dunst and Emmy Rossum.
48 hours proved to be WAY too optimistic given nonsense in my neighborhood the past few nights. I'm hoping to have my movie up by EOD tomorrow.
