The panel welcomes us to the Royal Rumble Kickoff. They talk about the importance and history of the Royal Rumble and make some early predictions for the show. They’re unanimous in picking Lesnar over Strowman and Bryan over Hardy. Charley Caruso then throws it to Kayla Braxton.

Rating: 5.9

Kayla Braxton is standing by with Dean Ambrose. He says that tonight is the night he’s been waiting his life for. When he goes out there and he rips and tears and eliminates twenty-nine other men he’ll be right where he belongs, in the main event of WrestleMania. Kayla asks him if he’s concerned about Seth Rollins being medically cleared today and Ambrose just smirks and says if Rollins does show up, he’ll put him right back in the hospital!

Rating: 8.7

A hard hitting match where the champions spend most of the first half on defense as Gallows and Anderson work as a well oiled machine. The Bar takes control when the Good Brothers try for the Magic Killer on Cesaro and Sheamus hits a Broque Kick on Anderson to disrupt it. A few moments of brawling on the outside leaves us with Cesaro and Anderson in the ring and Cesaro shows his incredible strength when he delivers a fourteen revolution swing. A European Uppercut knocks Gallows off the apron and that allows Anderson to fall victim to the Neutralizer for the pinfall.

Winners by Pinfall and still Smackdown Tag Team Champions: The Bar
Rating: 7.7

When we return to the set Charley is joined by the RAW and Smackdown Live CEOs, Stephanie and Shane McMahon. It begins standard enough but once they begin debating about which brand will have the winners of the Rumble matches it turns into a squabble and Charley eases us out of the segment and throws it to Kayla Braxton who is standing by with RAW Womens Champion Ronda Rousey.

Rating: 8.5

Kayla introduces Rousey and asks for her thoughts about the Womens Royal Rumble match. Ronda says that it’s exciting because the woman who wins might be choosing her to main event WrestleMania and…..

Nia Jax walks into frame with a not-so-pleasant smile. She says that WHEN she wins tonight’s Rumble, she will definitely be choosing Ronda because they have unfinished business. Rousey and Jax step a little closer to each other and Ronda raises the belt. Jax chuckles and tells her to keep it shined up for her before leaving.

Rating: 7.8

The match is nothing but high energy. All four men get in all their spots, at one point every man hits his finisher on someone else. Late in the match, Kalisto hits a crossbody block from the top to the outside on Murphy. This leaves Rush and Kendrick in the ring and Kendrick hits Sliced Bread but in the process the referee takes a bump. Kendrick is making the cover but nobody is there to count. It’s then that the crowd comes to their feet.

The Almighty Bobby Lashley comes running down the aisle and slides in the ring. When Kendrick turns around, Lashley boots him in the stomach and delivers a Dominator. He then drags a mostly unconscious Rush over and puts him on top of Kendrick before dragging the referee over. The ref slowly counts to three and calls for the bell.

Winner by Pinfall and new WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Lio Rush
Rating: 7.0

The announcers say there’s breaking news. Mr. McMahon, the WWE Chairman just tweeted the following.

The panel discusses the ramifications with most speculation suggesting maybe he’s paving the way for his daughter Stephanie.

Rating: 7.7

Finally as the clock countdowns to the beginning of the show, the panel gives their picks for the rumble matches. On the men’s side JBL and Booker think it’ll be Dean Ambrose while Charley and Lawler think it’s built for Samoa Joe. For the women after what they saw earlier, they all pick Nia Jax. After that, Caruso thanks us for watching the kickoff.

The Royal Rumble…..is next!

Rating: 6.2

*NOTE* This is a really, really long show. We hope you guys enjoy it!

Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Renee Young open the show by welcoming us to the 2019 Royal Rumble. They spend a few moments hyping the night’s upcoming matches before we go to a video package.

Rating: 9.1

A video is shown recapping how Jeff Hardy became the number one contender and then the events of Miz TV this past Tuesday on Smackdown where Daniel Bryan nearly scalded Jeff Hardy when he threw hot coffee in his face.

Rating: 7.8

Quote:

Bryan attacks Hardy before the bell rings and holds the early advantage, going so far as to pull Hardy’s shirt over his head and beat him unmercifully. The champion is feeling it and climbs to the top, but Hardy by then sheds the shirt and catches him on the top, ending in a superplex. Hardy goes for the cover but Bryan kicks out. Hardy keeps pressing, and Bryan is on his heels as he’s floored over and over by Hardy’s constant motion offense. Hardy though makes a mistake when he tries to run along the outside wall and Bryan dodges him while throwing him into the stairs, injuring his shoulder. Now Bryan has a real target and zeroes in on it, punishing Hardy’s newfound injury and following a running knee to the face, Bryan secures the Labell Lock for the win.

Winner by Submission and still WWE World Champion: Daniel Bryan
Rating: 8.2

Kayla Braxton catches up to Paul Heyman backstage as he exits Brock Lesnar’s locker room. She asks about any strategy he’s envisioning for the Universal Championship match tonight. In typical smug fashion Heyman claims that no strategy is needed. All that’s needed is a history lesson. Braun Strowman time after time has failed when he faces the Beast. On Monday, Brock Lesnar F5’d Strowman off the stage and down through a table. And tonight the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Champion, is going to conquer the Monster for the last time because when Brock Lesnar gets done with him, Braun Strowman won’t be giving anyone any hands anymore.

A video is shown hyping the history of the Men’s Royal Rumble.

The Miz and Dolph Ziggler pick up where they left off at the Best in the World tournament and neither man gets to control the match for very long as they trade the advantage back and forth.

The crowd gets to its feet as Japanese superstar Kota Ibushi debuts and when he hits the ring he begins cleaning house, knocking down Ziggler and Miz over and over with a series of dropkicks and strikes but soon the numbers catch up to him and he’s getting double teamed.

NXT North American Champion Ricochet sprints down the aisle and breaks up the beatdown going on. He pairs off with Ziggler as Ibushi pairs with Miz. As the former duo brawl in a corner, Miz whips Ibushi into the ropes and follows but Ibushi ducks a clothesline and immediately throws a dropkick which sends Miz over the top and down to the floor as the crowd begins counting down again.

Woo Woo Woo, Zack Ryder hits the ring and goes for Ibushi. It only takes a few moments for Ryder to end up on the short end of the stick. Meanwhile Ziggler is trying to get Ricochet over the top but fails and seeing an opportunity Ziggler rushes across tre ring and blasts Ryder from behind.

Don’t you dare be sour! It’s the powerhouse of the New Day who’s next up and Big E makes an impact by flattening everyone who was in the ring. However when he turns around after playing to the crowd he’s hit by Ibushi, then Ricochet, then Ryder, and finally Ziggler. Big E is staggered and it takes all four men to eliminate him by dumping him over the top and then the four immediately begin fighting again.

Andrade Cien Almas is next and he goes straight for Ricochet, hitting him with a flurry of stiff looking punches before trying to eliminate him. Ibushi and Ryder have Ziggler penned in the corner. Almas finally throws Ricochet over the top but the North American Champion saves himself and when Almas turns around he catches a springboard dropkick right in the face. The close begins counting down again.

Nick Aldis, who the announcers refer to as the current NWA Champion enters a WWE ring for the first time and makes an impact by immediately launching a knee into Ibushi’s gut followed by a swinging neckbreaker. He and Ryder whip Ibushi into the corner but when Ryder rushes in Ibushi hits him in the face with a lighting fast superkick. With Ryder stunned Aldis tosses him over the top. Meanwhile, Ricochet goes to the top rope on a prone Ziggler but Dolph is playing possum and hops up and shoves Ricochet off the top to the floor.

AJ Styles is next and as soon as he hits the right all of the men begin brawling around with no clear long lasting pairings. Ziggler is still hanging in there and begins forming a partnership with Almas as they try and eliminate Ibushi.

Balor Club comes alive as their hero is the 10th entry. He and AJ begin partnering up and go for Almas and Ziggler while Ibushi pairs off with Aldis who is doing everything he can to eliminate him.

The King of Strong Style hits the ring and doesn’t waste a second helping Aldis eliminate Ibushi. He then turns his attention to AJ and attacks him from behind. Ziggler moves to intercept Aldis and Almas begins to work over Balor.

It’s time for some 619! Rey Mysterio hits the ring full of energy hitting Ziggler, then Nakamura but when he goes for Almas, he’s caught in mid air. Mysterio adapts though and converts his situation into a hurricanrana, sending Almas tumbling over the top rope. Moments later Nick Aldis sends Ziggler over the top ending his long run in the match.

Baron Corbin is the next man in and he begins showing his size and power by flooring every man in the ring except Nakamura. With AJ, Balor, Mysterio and Aldis on the mat, Corbin and Nakamura make an alliance on the fly and begin attacking all four men. Corbin picks up Mysterio and tries to eliminate him but Mysterio hangs on for dear life and is saved when Balor comes from behind and disrupts Corbin’s plans.

The Lunatic Fringe is next but he doesn’t enter the ring. As he watches, the men in the ring continue their war but Ambrose just smirks, biding his time. Balor has now paired with Nakamura and they trade stiff shots back and forth as Aldis and Corbin trade right hands.

The Kingslayer’s music hits and Ambrose looks like he’s seen a ghost as Rollins makes a beeline for him and they being fighting on the outside with Ambrose getting the worst of it and actually entering the ring to escape Rollins. When Rollins follows Corbin intercepts him but Rollins bounds off the ropes and hits a running knee in Corbin’s face. Corbin is staggered, and immediately catches a Phenomenal Forearm from AJ and together, Rollins and AJ toss him out but immediately after Ambrose is all over Rollins and Nakamura drops Styles with a Kinshasa.

Eric Young is the next man out and he makes his presence known by being in the right place at the right time. As Mysterio attempts to go for a West Coast Pop on Aldis, Young dropkicks him before he can launch, knocking him to the floor. He then targets Styles. Meanwhile Rollins and Ambrose are still fighting it out in the corner.

The RAW General Manager is out next and he’s ready to do battle. Nakamura catches an Angle Slam, followed by Aldis, followed by Young. The straps are down and Angle is feeling it! Ambrose almost has Rollins over the top when AJ stops him and they begin trading punches.

Kofi Kingston is next and as soon as he gets ro ringside he climbs to the top and flies with a crossbody block which flattens everyone in the ring. Once action gets restarted it’s again Ambrose and Rollins paired up and AJ is now dealing with Balor while Aldis and Kofi work on Nakamura and Young with nobody looking in particular trouble at the moment.

The Samoan Submission Machine hits the ring and immediately begins hitting anyone in arm’s length. He helps Nakamura eliminate Aldis before turning his attention to AJ and he begins teaming with Young in attacking Styles. Rollins has Ambrose almost upside down on the ropes but Nakamura interjects while Balor and Kofi have begun brawling.

The final member of the New Day is here but unfortunately for Xavier Woods it doesn’t last long Like Kofi before him, Woods climbs to the top as soon as he gets to ringside but Young spots him and rushes to the top to meet him. They exchange punches before Eric Young hits a superplex to the outside! This of course eliminates them both but as the camera zooms in, Young has an expression of enjoyment.

It’s Rusev Day!!! The Super Athlete gets in the ring and gets into the frey, eventually settling into a brawl with Joe. Rollins and AJ have now paired out while Crews and Mahal try to overpower each other. Balor takes the time to recover as the clock ticks down.

The Viper hits the ring and begins tangling with Balor. AJ and Rollins renew their action but the attention is on the other side of the ring which sees Joe eliminate both Crews and Mahal in quick succession but he doesn’t see Rusev coming from behind and he dumps Joe over the top rope.

Orton is posing but the Hulkster just pops right up. When Orton turnds around he gets a finger pointing in his face. Orton comes in with a punch that’s blocked. Hogan returns three punches in return, then whips Orton into the ropes and hits the big boot. Meanwhile Rusev is tangling with AJ and Balor is fightring with Rollins. As the clock counts down, Hogan is posing.

The Almighty Bobby Lashley is next and goes right for Balor. He tries to eliminate Finn but he’s stopped by Hogan who rocks Lashley with some right hands but Lashley shakes them off and launches a knee into Hogan’s gut before dumping him out. He then turns his attention back to Balor but he’s cut off by Rollins.

Elias gets in the ring and begins tangling with Oton, while Rusev and Lashley finally collide. AJ and Balor who both look to be tiring seem to have an agreement to both catch a breath but now it’s Rollins who’s found a second wind. He catches Lashley in the back with a running knee, and along with Elias begins to lift him up. AJ and Balor join in and slowly all four of them shove Lashley over the top. Unfortunately for them, they lost sight of Orton who comes up and throws AJ over the top.

Rollins and Balor intervene but Mcintyre slings Balor halfway across the ring as he begins in on Rollins, picking him up and launching him into a corner. Now we’re down to Balor, Rollins, and McIntyre and it’s Drew who find himself on the bad end of a two on one attack. But being the freshest guy has its benefits and he knocks them both down with headbutts right in the face. Focusing on Rollins he rams him into the ring post through the turnbuckles twice before hitting a DDT. As he bends down to pick up Rollins, Balor jumps on McIntyre’s back and Drew runs backwards crushing Balor in the corner. Just then Rollins is getting up and he catches a Claymore in the face. A few seconds later, Rollins is tossed to the outside.

With a handful of hair, Drew launches Balor over the top and falls to knees in celebration, but Balor has held on and skinned the cat! McIntyre charges with a shoulder block but Balor jumps over it back into the ring and bounds to the other ropes.. McIntyre turns around just in time to catch a dropkick in the face sending him over the ropes but he lands on the apron, stunned. Chase Field comes to life in unison as an exhausted Becky can barely stand. She is announced as the winner while Charlotte & Ronda Rousey clap. Both champions look pensive as they have to go into the ring. Stephanie McMahon comes down and raises the hand of Becky Lynch who points at the Wrestlemania sign while Charlotte & Ronda are in corners being forced to watch the celebration. Becky glances at both women because she now has the ultimate decision to make. The Man is going to Wrestlemania.

A video is shown hyping the WWE Universal Championship match, focusing mostly on the brawl this last Monday which saw Lesnar F5 Strowman off the stage as the camera focuses on Lesnar’s smile.

Rating: 8.4

Quote:

An early matchup of strength does not go Lesnar’s way as Strowman shoves him halfway across the ring. On the second attempt Lesnar buries a knee in Strowman’s gut and begins to rain down thudding blows, dropping Strowman to his knees but when Lesnar backs up and goes in for a running knee, Strowman catches him by the throat and chokeslams him. Lesnar rolls out of the ring, clearly shaken by the chokeslam but before Heyman can get to him, Strowman follows him out to the floor and the two brawl for the next few minutes with a very generous referee’s count. Lesnar employs the announcer’s table, and tries to F5 Strowman through it but Braun slips out of his arms and boots Lesnar in the chest sending him flying over the announcer’s table. Strowman picks up Lesnar and carries him to the ring, rolling him back in and following but as soon as Strowman is entering the ring Lesnar pounces and goes back on the attack. Strowman looks stunned and he gets taken to Suplex City via a German suplex. Lesnar is smiling now and asks Heyman how that looked but Heyman’s face goes from smiling to fear as Strowman stands up. Lesnar turns with a look of concern before charging but Strowman scoops him out and delivers a huge powerslam. 1….2….Strowman pulls Lesnar’s head up before the three. He shouts down at Lesnar that the title belongs to him. Lesnar looks like he’s not sure where he is but Strowman picks him up and delivers another powerslam, but he doesn’t pin Lesnar. He looks to the crowd who’s chanting ‘Get These Hands”. Strowman picks up Lesnar to a standing position, or at least a swaying position before picking Lesnar up on his shoulders. As the crowd and announcers express shock, he delivers an F5 to the Beast before planting a large boot in Lesnar’s chest for the 1….2….3.

Winner by Pinfall and NEW WWE Universal Champion: Braun Strowman
Rating: 7.5

As Heyman tends to the fallen Lesnar, Braun Strowman accepts the Universal Championship from the referee and holds it up high for all the fans to see. As the announcers discuss how the Monster finally slayed the Beast, Graves wonders aloud if Balor will be the next one to get these hands.

A video recap of the Royal Rumble with still photos and commentary voice over. It highlights Finn Balor winning the Royal Rumble and Braun Strowman defeating Brock Lesnar to capture the WWE Universal Championship.

Rating: 8.5

The new WWE Universal Champion is introduced and comes down to the ring. He says that last night Brock Lesnar got those hands and it will be a long long time until someone takes the Universal Championship out of his. But he’s interrupted as Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre come out and walk down to the ring.

Ziggler says that while Strowman is to be applauded for his victory he couldn’t be more wrong because he’s going to be losing his newly won championship very very soon. They advance on Strowman when someone else shows up.

The winner of the Royal Rumble, Finn Balor, comes down to the ring standing next to Strowman. He says that after last night he’s feeling pretty good and if Ziggler and McIntyre want a fight, then he wants in too. So tonight how about a tag team match? Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre are all in agreement and we have our main event set.

Rating: 8.5

Quote:

The AOP don’t look to be in a good mood tonight and they take it out on the B Team from the opening bell. Rezar dominates the early moments before tagging in Akam for more of the same. Dallas gets a small amount of offense in but is quickly shut down and the AOP put him away with the powerbomb neckbreaker.

Winners by Pinfall and still RAW Tag Team Champions: The AOP
Rating: 6.6

The AOP are collecting their titles when the Revival hit the ring and the fight from last week is renewed. The AOP are sent over the top rope with matching clotheslines and the crowd is hot for the Revival as they challenge the AOP to come back in, but Drake Maverick forces his men to retreat.

Rating: 7.4

We see Kurt Angle on the phone in his office. It appears he’s talking to Triple H and he can’t get a word in edgewise. Angle finishes the call telling Triple H that he’ll see him next week.

Rating: 9.1

Quote:

A pissed off Nia Jax takes it out on poor local performer Chelsea Diamond. From the very beginning, Diamond is demolished by Jax. She throws Chelsea around the ring before throwing her into a corner and running and crushing her. Nia headbutts her and then does a Vader Bomb and covers, 1...2....Nia picks Diamond up. Jax drags her in the center of the ring and drops a leg. She then picks her up and nails the Samoan Drop and mercifully it is over.

Winner by Pinfall: Nia Jax
Rating: 4.7

After the match Nia grabs a microphone. She says that last night at the Royal Rumble, her supposed friend Tamina watched while she was targeted and eliminated. Tamina cost her Nia's chance at destiny and that is why this sacrifice was made. Tamina needs to heed this warning: make things right or Tamina will be the next to pay.

Rating: 6.8

A vignette is shown hyping this month’s big Elimination Chamber and the history of the
match.

Once we’re back from commercial, we see a replay of how the show began tonight and how it lead to our main event tonight, Braun Strowman and Finn Balor versus Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler.

Seth Rollins is already in the ring and he says it’s time for another WWE Intercontinental Championship open challenge. He only has to wait a few moments for his challenger.

The Glorious Bobby Roode makes his way down to the ring but before he’s even at ringside Rollins is attacked in the darkened ring by someone in a hoodie who takes out his knee with a chop block. The lights come back on and we see Dean Ambrose pull the hood down revealing himself.

Ambrose keeps attacking Rollins who is holding onto his knee until officials force Ambrose away. The referee who was assigned to the match tells Rollins that he’s not going to start the match but Rollins shakes his head and says he can go.

Rating: 8.7

Quote:

Being a veteran of the squared circle, Roode immediately targets Rollins injured leg and has the defending champion on the defense from the opening bell. Rollins shows heart and fights back but every time he has a chance to build on some momentum, his knee gives out which allows Roode to attack. Roode keeps attacking the leg but makes a mistake when he goes to the top rope, and Rollins crotches him. Rollins climbs up and hits the Superplex, and rolls through to deliver the Falcon Arrow but again his leg gives out. Rollins drops to his good knee and Roode strikes, hitting the Glorious DDT for the win.

Winner by Pinfall and new WWE Intercontinental Champion: Bobby Roode
Rating: 8.1

As Seth Rollins holds his damaged leg and Roode escapes with the Intercontinental Championship, Dean Ambrose just smiles with his eyes locked on Rollins before he ditches into the crowd.

Rating: 9.2

Kurt Angle is in his office when Alexa Bliss enters. He says that last night she entered herself into the Womens’ Royal Rumble which tells him that she is perfectly healed and ready to see action so effective immediately she is fired as management. She protests asking what she’s supposed to do now and Angle tells her that next week she’ll go one on one with Sasha Banks since she has so much free time on her hands now. She storms out leaving Angle just shaking his head.

Rating: 6.6

Quote:

A pretty even match, Mahal uses his power to control most of the first half, with his helpers outside getting in some shots when they could but Elias makes a comeback, staggering Mahal with a stiff right hand, and going to work on him in the corner. Mahal reverses an Irish Whip but lowers his head and Elias makes him pay hitting Drift Away for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Elias
Rating: 6.0

The announcers recap the Womens’ Royal Rumble won by the Man Becky Lynch. They spend a few moments wondering if Lynch will choose to challenge for the RAW or Smackdown Live Womens’ Championship and Cole mentions that when they’re back from commercial. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will address the matter.

Rating: 8.3

We’re now informed the first member of the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame is multi-time champion, JBL!

Rating: 5.1

Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey comes out carrying the Raw Women's Title and grabs a mic. She says that last night at the Royal Rumble she had to sit there and watch as competitors from days gone by, competitors of today and competitors of tomorrow competed in a match to determine who would go to Wrestlemania and it got her thinking. All day long, Ronda has thought back and replayed this last year over and over in her mind. It has been a year that has been more exciting and more special than anyone could understand. Ronda says that when she joined WWE she agreed to do it for a short time to live out her dream, but now, after this year, this is all that matters (Ronda raises the Raw Womens Title in the air). And so this message is for Becky Lynch......"pick me. Our story isn't done, Becks. This run is not over. I want one more moment to remember it all by. I want to be the one to break your face this time. I want to make you scream. I want this journey to continue. Becky, I want you at Wrestlemania.....pick me." Ronda glares at the camera and walks away with the challenge made.

Rating: 8.5

Seth Rollins bursts into Kurt Angle’s office, still limping, and gets in Angle’s face. He says next week he wants Rollins one on one. No count outs, no disqualifications. Angle says he’ll do one better. In two weeks LIVE from Green Bay will air on the WWE Network. The winner of the match next week will face Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship. Rollins thanks Angle and limps away, but Angle looks concerned.

Rating: 8.2

Quote:

Ruby starts out taking control and every time that Ember starts to fight back, one of the Riott Squad distracts her. That all changes when Ruby grabs Ember's legs and Moon reverses it with a Kip Up Hurricanrana that sends Ruby crashing into Liv Morgan. The ref kicks the Riott Squad away from the ring and Ruby and Ember engage in a competitive battle that ends when Ember is able to fly off and nail the Eclipse. She covers Ruby for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall: Ember Moon
Rating: 6.5

In their locker room, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre are seen talking over their plans for tonight’s big tag team match. Ziggler insists that they need to isolate Balor but McIntyre doesn’t seem to care as long as he can hurt someone.

Rating: 7.0

Backstage Charly Caruso catches up to the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Roode. She asks him how he feels and he says of course, glorious! He says this is the culmination of his sacrifice. It wasn’t long ago he was in a downward spiral attached at the hip to that nobody Chad Gable, but he had the courage to dump that albatross and assume his destiny. This is who Bobby Roode is...a champion, and a winner.

Rating: 7.0

Michael Cole hypes WWE Live from Green Bay in two weeks, exclusively on the WWE Network. The main event will be Braun Strowman defending the WWE Universal Championship against the winner of next week’s match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose!

Rating: 9.2

Quote:

Balor starts against Ziggler and it’s a clinic on both sides but then McIntyre gets involved and Balor is dominated for a few moments much in part to Strowman being baited to come into the ring and allow double teams. Balor finally makes a hot tag to Strowman who enters the ring and begins to run over both Ziggler and McIntyre. Dolph goes for a ZigZag but Strowman just shrugs him off and when Ziggler charges again Strowman scoops him up and delivers a powerslam. Before McIntyre can enter to break up the pinfall, Balor is back in and hits a suicide dive through the ropes, wiping McIntyre out as the referee counts to three.

Winners by Pinfall: Braun Strowman and Finn Balor.
Rating: 7.8

Strowman and Balor celebrate their win, but keep a cautious eye on each other as the show ends.

A video recap of the Royal Rumble from Smackdown Live’s perspective is shown focusing on the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy, as well as the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship match between the Bar and Anderson and Gallows.

Rating: 8.7

Becky Lynch comes out to the crowd’s ovation. She says they said it couldn’t be done but she stands in this ring...the Man’s ring….as the as the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble! She fought and scrapped and did whatever it took to win and if her career shows anything it’s that dedication and hard work pays off. Now…...she has a choice to make.

Suddenly she’s interrupted.

The Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair comes out, all smiles, and enters the ring. She says that Becky truly showed herself to be the Man last Sunday by besting twenty-nine other competitors in the second annual Women’s Royal Rumble but now it’s clear who her choice should be. WrestleMania main event, the Man challenging the Queen for the most prestigious championship in their industry. There’s really no other choice.

Becky appears to be considering before saying that Charlotte makes a good case for herself. Their history and their backgrounds would truly make a great match, maybe the best of all time at WrestleMania. But Charlotte is forgetting one thing. Whether it’s Raw or Smackdown Live. Whether it’s Ronnie, or Charlotte. That decision isn’t made by the baddest bitch on the planet or a queen, it’s made by the Man! And her decision will come when she’s good and ready to give it.

Charlotte is seething as Becky leaves the ring to more cheers and heads up the ramp.

The Usos are in firm control of this match from the start and never let up. They look more determined than usual and show a vicious streak punctuated with quick tags and heavy action. Primo is eventually put away with a big splash off the top by Jimmy.

Winners by Pinfall: The Usos
Rating: 6.7

A graphic is shown as the announcers excitedly tell us that former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio makes his return to Smackdown Live next week and his first match back will be against the Miz!

Rating: 7.4

Kayla Braxton is backstage with Samoa Joe. She begins talking about how the Rumble didn’t go the way he wanted when Rusev eliminated him but he cuts her off, saying that sometimes life doesn’t go the way you want. Sometimes people you care about, that you love, are hurt. And sometimes, you bring it on yourself. He stalks off leaving her looking concerned.

Rating: 8.3

Quote:

As one might expect Lana did not get a lot of offense in on this but she really got to practice selling Asuka’s non stop offense which overwhelmed the Ravishing Russian from the get go. It’s not too long before the Asuka Lock is in place and Lana quickly taps.

Winner by Submission: Asuka
Rating: 7.0

While Asuka leaves the ring and is headed up the ramp, Lana slowly gets to her feet, a little unsteady but she waves to her fans.

Suddenly Samoa Joe hops the barricade and slides into the ring behind her. As she is about to step between the ropes to leave he grabs her and locks on the Kokina Clutch. She flails but is quickly subdued as the bell rings and officials plead with Joe to release it.

The crowd comes to life as a frantic Rusev comes running down. Seeing him coming, Joe releass the hold and as Rusev checks on Lana Joe slips back into the crowd with a smirk. Rusev’s eyes say this is far from over.

Rating: 6.8

We’re shown a video labeled ‘moments ago’ showing a clearly irate Andrade headed out of the building, with Zelina in tow. They’re ranting non stop in spanish but clearly name drop Rey Mysterio as they enter the car and drive off.

Rating: 7.0

We’re taken backstage as the New Day are seen headed down the hallway in great spirits. Their six man tag against Sanity is next!

Rating: 7.7

Quote:

Pretty standard six man tag. It’s the New Day getting their spots in versus Young but when he gets the chance they trap Woods in Sanity’s corner and begin pummeling him. He eventually makes the hot tag to Kofi and now the tide has turned. Wolfe is in trouble as Kofi climbs to the top when the crowd begins to react to something.

Harper and Rowan appear from the crowd, Harper shoving Kofi off the top to the floor below, and Rowan flattening Big E with a stiff clothesline on the outside. The referee quickly calls for the bell.

Winners by Disqualification: The New Day
Rating: 7.3

Though the match is over, the brutality has only begun. With five on three odds, Sanity divies up their men with Dain on his own beating down Woods by the timekeeper, Wolfe and Young double teaming Kofi, and Harper and Rowan focusing on Big E.

Dain picks up Woods and rams him back-first into the ring post over and over as Woods cries out in pain. Kofi has been slung into the barricade and lands in a heap. As he rolls onto his back, Young comes off the apron with a pinpoint elbow drop. Meanwhile on the other side, Wolfe has picked up a chair and whacks Woods across the back while Dain continues to hold him up.

The worst may be reserved for Big E though. Harper and Rowan beat him without mercy, pulling him over to the Announcer’s table before putting him through it with a double chokeslam. They then drag Woods and Kofi by the arms and lay them across one another like firewood. As this expanded Sanity grin amongst themselves with a callous violence in their eyes, Big E crawls from the wreckage of the table, blood streaming down his brow as he reaches for his unconscious brothers. This gets the attention of the pack and he’s stomped by four sets of legs while Young fishes under the ring, pulling out a screwdriver. He approaches Big E, stepping on Woods/Kofi in the process and kneels down. Wolfe, Dain, Harper, and Rowan stand close, shielding our view of what he’s doing to Big E but the screams tell us it’s not good. Finally they relent and leave the carnage of what they’ve done behind as officials and medical personnel rush in.

Paige is in her office when Charlotte Flair arrives. Charlotte demands that Paige order Becky to choose her for WrestleMania. Paige says that first of all that’s Becky’s call and second, Charlotte doesn’t demand anything of her. She’s the General Manager and she calls the shots around here. So tonight, Charlotte will defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville!

Rating: 8.7

Orton attacks before the bell begins and continues to punish Styles for the opening moments of the match but AJ shows grit and fights back, stunning Orton with a Pele Kick and then lighting him up with forearms and kicks. Orton stops him in his tracks and goes back on the offense but when he charges Styles near the ropes, Styles backdrops him over the top to the floor near the ramp As orton clears the cobwebs, Styles takes flight from inside the ring with a Phenomenal Forearm to the outside flooring Orton. He rolls the Viper back in the ring and gets a two count. Styles goes back to the apron for another Phenomenal Forarm but when he launches, Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere! 1...2...Styles foot is on the ropes. Orton is growing frustrated and bends down to pull Styles up to his feet when AJ pulls Orton into a small package and gets the three count.

Winner by Pinfall: AJ Styles

We see Paige in her office when the Usos enter. They ask her if she watched their match tonight and she commends them. They say they ought to receive another shot at the Bar and the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships. She considers for a moment then agrees, telling them they’ll get their title match at Elimination Chamber.

Charlotte begins the match in firm control but thanks to Mandy Rose at ringside, Sonya gets her opening and makes the champion pay dearly. Sonya controls several minutes, using her strikes and ground game to soften up Charlotte but when she misses a knee charge into the corner, it’s the Queen’s turn and she uses laser guided precision to target Sonya’s leg, eventually getting her into the Figure Eight for the win.

Winner by Submission and still Smackdown Live Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair
Rating: 6.8

As soon as the bell rings Mandy is in the ring and breaks up the Figure Eight with a double axe handle to Charlotte’s midsection. Mandy and Sonya keep attacking the Women’s Champion but after a moment Becky Lynch comes running down to the ring.

Sonya and Mandy see her and prepare to fight ehr too but Becky stops on a dime at ringside and just looks at them. Slowly Sonya and Mandy test the waters, kicking Charlotte but Becky makes no move. Shrugging to themselves, they go back into full attack mode as Becky turns and walks back up the ramp. Finally they leave Charlotte down on the mat and leave the ring. Charlotte slowly pushes herself up to a sitting position and she’s got a royal sneer in Becky’s direction.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan comes down to the ring and says that it appears he needs a challenger for WrestleMania. Now he knows not many back there will step up because of how he dominated and embarrassed Jeff Hardy on Sunday but surely there is someone with the guts….the courage….the…….

The crowd goes crazy as Finn Balor makes his way down to the ring, eyes always on Bryan, until they get face to face. Neither man says a word but Balor just gives a little smirk and points up to the WrestleMania sign hanging up in the rafters. The show goes off the air with both men mid staredown.

A video recap of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match that saw Lio Rush win his first championship with a little help from the Almighty Bobby Lashley
Rating: 7.0

New WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush comes down to the ring, alone, and his smile is contagious...like smallpox as the King might quip. He gets on the mic and spends the next several minutes patting himself on the back for overcoming three former champions to win at the Royal Rumble and in case anyone is wondering he’ll be champ for a long, long time to come.

Rating: 5.8

Quote:

Lucha House Party in full effect as their high flying energetic offense keeps both Gulak and Dar on the defense. The heels pull it together and isolate Sin Cara but when he sees the opportunity he tags in Kalisto who drops both opponents, before focusing on Gulak as the legal man. He wears Gulak down with a flurry of moves before hitting Solina Del Sol for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: Sin Cara and Kalisto

The announcers excitedly remind us that King Fenix will make his debut on 205 Live later tonight.

Rating: 6.8

A video replay of Hideo Itami’s attacks on Tyler Breeze over the last weeks is show.

Rating: 7.0

Quote:

Itami is ruthless and while Tozawa fights valiantly it's clear that tonight it not his night. Itami picks him apart limb by limb, occasionally allowing a grin to show. Even McGuinesss comments that it's clear Itami is enjoying his work tonight. With tozawa barely able to defend himself, Itami kicks him to the temple and nails a double knee jawbreaker for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Hideo Itami
Rating: 6.2

We’re shown a tweet by 205 General Manager Drake Maverick. The announcers hype this big match at the upcoming special event exclusively on the WWE Network.

Rating: 6.9

Backstage, Maria and Mike Kanellis look disgusted. They can barely even adore one another. Maria says that 205 needs TLC and she doesn’t mean climbing a ladder or being put through a table. 205 needs saved and the only thing that can save it is love.

Rating: 6.5

Quote:

The long anticipated debut of King Fenix does not disappoint. He displays a level of athleticism which keeps the crowd on their feet as he twists and turns, flips and fights the former champion from seemingly every angle at once. TJP reverses an Irish Whip but Fenix slides between his legs on the return and when TJP turns around he catches a spinning heel kick in the face. With his opponent staggered Fenix climbs to the top and when TJP gets to his feet he flies off hitting a rolling tornado DDT for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: King Fenix

Fenix is up on the turnbuckles, soaking in his victory with the cheering crowd when suddenly Buddy Murphy hits the ring.

He runs up to Fenix and delivers a German Suplex. Sneering down at Fenix, Murphy picks him up but catches a punch to the gut. This just further angers the Juggernaut who bashes Fenix over the back with a clubbing forearm and then delivers Murphy’s Law. As the show ends, the former champion has ruined Fenix’s debut and reminded us all how dangerous he is.

NXT opens with a recap video of last Saturday's TakeOver featuring the epic show down between Aleister Black and Tommaso Ciampa that saw the shocking reuniting of DIY and the unexpected arrival of Jay Lethal.

Rating: 5.7

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano open the show and Ciampa is gloating about the fact that he still has Goldie by his side. Ciampa says that last Saturday was historic not just because of your champ's victory, but it was historic because the modern day Mega Powers reunited. Johnny Gargano says that Aleister Black is a selfish man and that when it came down to it, best friends stick together. Aleister got what he deserved at TakeOver an...

NXT General Manager William Regal comes out and says that Aleister "got what he deserved?" For what? All he did was pin Johnny Gargano to the mat and for that he deserved this? Well, Johnny "you deserve what I have to say now....in two weeks, Aleister Black will return to NXT. And on that night he will main event NXT....against, you. And Ciampa? You're barred from the building that night and should you show up, you will be stripped of the NXT Championship." DIY freaks out as Johnny Gargano will have to face what he has done in two weeks on NXT.

This is pretty much a domination squash match as the Undisputed Era cheer on Bobby taking apart the newcomer to NXT. It isn't long before Bobby locks in the Fish Hook and Nathan Cruz is forced to tap out.

Winner by submission: Bobby Fish
Rating: 3.8

Post match, the rest of the Undisputed Era gets into the ring and hugs Bobby. Cole grabs a mic and says that last Saturday Adam Cole did not recapture the NXT North American Title and now, it is time to move on. But, that title will come home, and Bobby Fish grabs the mic and says that he is on the hunt to bring the North American Title back where it belongs because that's Undisputed.

As Candice LeRae comes out to the ring, she is asked about her husband's behavior, she says no comment and proceeds to immediately attack Bianca. Belair has to go to the floor to try to escape but Candice gives chase. Bianca gets in the ring and when Candice charges, the EST of NXT drops a leg on the back of her neck. From then on this match is largely Bianca's and she ends it with the Belair Driver for the 3 count.

Winner by pinfall: Bianca Belair

Following the win, Nikki Cross comes out to the stage. She is laughing and sits on the stage rocking watching Bianca who is weirded out.

Rating: 5.3

The announcers take us back to NXT TakeOver where Jay Lethal shocked the world by appearing at the end of the NXT Championship match. Why is he here? Who was he targeting, Johnny Gargano or the NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa? We hope to find out next week when NXT returns to Orlando because Jay Lethal will be on hand to, according to William Regal, sign his NXT contract.

Rating: 3.5

A back and forth encounter for the return to NXT for both men. Early in the match, No Way Jose nearly scores a pinfall victory but, Blake turns the tide and nails a chokeslam. When Blake goes for the Frog Splash, Jose moves out of the way and sets up a Brainbuster but Blake drops out, trips No Way and does a Dragon Sleeper. There is No Way for Jose to survive and he is forced to tap out.

Winner by submission: Wesley Blake
Rating: 5.5

Poor Miller & Thorne as they have drawn this assignment because War Raiders are clearly pissed off at their loss last Saturday. They take turns just beating The Mighty down and soon Nick Miller is nailed with the Fall Out. Shane Thorne tries to scurry away but, War Raiders catch him and he too is nailed with Fall Out. Both men are covered by Hanson and Rowe and its academic.

Winners by pinfall: War Raiders
Rating: 6.0

After the match, War Raiders get on the mic and say that last Saturday didn't decide anything. They are taking War to the Undisputed Era and those boys will end up bloodied, broken and without any hope or championships when all is said and done. They pose to the cheers of the crowd as NXT goes off the air.

NXT UK opens up with the announcers welcoming us to this week's show where Pete Dunne will make his NXT UK ret...they are interrupted by Tyler Bate & Trent Seven, Mustache Mountain who come down to the ring and say that a few weeks ago The Grizzled Young Veterans beat them for the NXT UK Tag Team Titles but, they are entitled to a rematch and they want the rematch tonight. This brings out the champs who laugh like this is a joke and deny the challengers their opportunity. Seven says that he is an older gent and that his career is winding down and before he is done he wants those belts and will do anything for them. The champs ask if he means that, Seven says he does and they tell Mustache Mountain that the match can be on if Mustache Mountain puts their careers on the line.

Seven & Bate nod affirmative but, before the match can be made, NXT UK GM Johnny Saint comes out. He says that is a terrific idea and since, Mustache Mountain are being men and taking this risk, so should the Grizzled Young Veterans. So, this is simple: tonight in the main event, the NXT UK Tag Team Titles will be on the line and the losers go home and leave NXT UK. Its a loser leaves the United Kingdom Tag Team Title match and it will be tonight. The champs are stunned but the match is made and our main event is set.

Early on Kelly dominates the champion and really has her on the ropes but Ripley fights back into this match. Soon, Rhea has Kelly rocking and rolling and looks to be on the verge of victory when Jinny comes running down and attacks the champion forcing a disqualification.

Winner by disqualification and still NXT UK Women's Champion: Rhea Ripley

Rating: 5.4

Following the match, Jinny & Kelly double team the champ and beat her down until Toni Storm runs out from the back and cleans house. The heels bail as Storm checks on Ripley with Jinny & Kelly promising that this is not over.

A promo video for Dave Mastiff airs showcasing his destructive behavior in the ring. It promises that he's returning to NXT UK soon and nothing will be the same.

This match is absolute destruction as Wolfgang takes Ligero down right away and just never lets up. He drops not one but two powerbombs and then hits "The Howling" (Swanton Bomb) which squashes the Luchador for the decisive 3 count.

Winner by pinfall: Wolfgang

Pete Dunne returns to NXT UK and is given a standing ovation. He says that since he has been in America fighting for the North American Title, three men seem to have staked a claim for this belt: Joseph Conners, Samuel Gradwell & the man that Dunne beat at TakeOver: Blackpool...Joe Coffey. So, what to do? Why it's very simple...the Bruiserweight is a fighting champion, so he will defend against all 3 at the same time.

For the second time tonight, Johnny Saint comes out and says he respects Pete's commitment and his moxcey but, that is not good business for NXT UK. Pete Dunne is our #1 wrestler because he is our champion and having him face 3 guys at once is bad form. So, here is what will happen. Next week on NXT UK, in the main event, there will be a triangle match between Samuel Gradwell, Joe Coffey & Joseph Conners. And the winner of that match will become the #1 contender and will receive a NXT UK Championship match down the line. Pete says his idea is better but, he respects Saint's decision and the match for next week is made.

Rating: 5.9

A promo for Daniel Vidot, now sort of like a Cyborg, airs showing a darker and more sinister side of him. He is coming to NXT UK.

Luke Menzies comes out calling himself the United Kingdom's real athletic champion and says that he is home in the UK to prove his dominance and to bring out his opponent. Ashton Smith comes out and slaps Menzies in the face but, true to his word, the former Rugby star proves his athletic prowess and flings Smith around the ring in traditional wrestling holds. When Smith makes a comeback and goes for a Enziguiri, Menzies holds onto his leg and locks in an ankle lock. Ashton Smith fights but eventually succumbs and has to tap out.

Winner by submission: Luke Menzies
Rating: 5.0

We get a video recap of earlier tonight where the loser leaves the United Kingdom Tag Team Title match was made. Our main event is next.

Early in the match Mustache Mountain score with a double superkick on James Gibson and nearly win the match. From then, Trent Seven is taken by the champs and beaten down with the story being that him being older, how long can he survive. Seven does hold on and is able to make a tag to Tyler Bate who cleans house but Gibson throws Seven into the ring steps and now the champs are double teaming Bate. They nearly win the match but Bate kicks out of a spike piledriver. Seven gets back on the apron and urges Bate to tag. Gibson goes to tag in James Drake just as Tyler Bate reaches his partner. Seven and Drake fight as Gibson and Bate battle on the floor. Seven goes for the Seven Stars clothesline but Drake ducks and kicks him dead in his head. Drake goes for a Rude Awakening but Seven is able to reverse it and lift him up into a Torture Rack. Tyler Bate throws Zack Gibson into stairs and climbs the ropes, he flies off with a Knee Drop into a Burning Man. Trent Seven covers...1....2.....New Champions!

Winners by pinfall and NEW NXT United Kingdom Tag Team Champions: Trent Seven, Tyler Bate - Mustache Mountain
Rating: 6.4

Following the win, Mustache Mountain celebrate as the crowd goes crazy. Zack Gibson and James Drake collect themselves on the ramp with the realization hitting that their NXT UK careers are done. They have lost it all and must leave the UK. Mustache Mountain hug in celebration as NXT UK goes off the air.

A video recap of last week focuses on Bobby Roode taking the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Seth Rollins, with an assist from Dean Ambrose. We then see Rollins demanding a match with Ambrose and Kurt Angle agreeing.

Rating: 8.6

The COO is in the ring with his music playing as the show begins. As the music dies down Triple H says that last Tuesday the WWE was thrown into chaos when Finn Balor made his choice and to everyone’s surprise he is going to challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. So now what about RAW? He’s there tonight to announce that in two weeks we will see a match in the Elimination Chamber to name the challenger for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania and over the next two weeks we’ll see a series of qualifying matches. And the first one starts….right now.

Rating: 9.2

Quote:
ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFIER

Titus isn’t afraid of the Scottish Psychopath and in the early moments it helps him go on the offense but when he runs face first into a boot in the face, we all get to see why McIntyre has his nickname. McIntyre goes on to show both his strength and vengeful nature as he punishes Titus before putting him down with a Claymore Kick.

Winner by Pinfall: Drew McIntyre
Rating: 6.9

Post match, McIntyre gathers a mic from ringside. He says what the world just witnessed is a prelude for the Elimination Chamber. He’s going to kick the heads off of five other men and then he’s going to claim his destiny at WrestleMania!

Rating: 7.6

Following the commercial break we see a vignette with new WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Roode floating on his back in a pool surrounded by a luxurious mansion. The championship belt is resting on his chest. He says that just when you think you cannot become any more glorious, for once he’s been proven wrong. This championship means everything he’s spent his career trying to obtain and it will belong to him for a long, long time.

Rating: 8.3

Sasha and Alicia start it off and it’s not looking good for the Boss as Alicia and Mickie use a bevy of underhanded maneuvers and cheating to isolate and work her over. Bayley is close to making a tag but Mickie runs around the ring and pulls her off the apron. It’s not until Sasha digs deep and floors Mickie with a stiff looking flying forearm that she can tag in Bayley and the resident hugger cleans house before knocking Alicia off the apron. Mickie recovers and spins Bayley around and throws a right hand but Bayley ducks, grabs Mickie around the ribs and delivers a Bayley-to-Belly for the win.

Winners by Bayley and Sasha Banks
Rating: 7.6

Seth Rollins is standing by with Charly Caruso. She asks about his match tonight with Dean Ambrose. He says that sometimes enough is enough and last week proved to him that if he doesn’t put an end to Dean Ambrose, he will haunt Rollins for the rest of his life. And knowing that in doing that he will earn a Universal Championship match this Saturday makes it all the more special. Dean can be as crazy as he wants, but tonight, Seth will become the Lunatic Slayer.

Rating: 6.7

Nia Jax is warming up when Tamina approaches. Jax asks why Tamina allowed her to be eliminated in the Royal Rumble but Tamina stops her ands reminds her that she left Tamina hanging out to dry in a tag match a few weeks ago. Jax seems taken aback says she was giving Tamina a chance to destroy Ronda Rousey, but she can see why Tamina misunderstood, but they’re still family. Tamina seems to accept this and the two embrace before Tamina tells Nia to flatten Natalya tonight.

Rating:7.1

We’re shown a replay of Triple H’s announcement tonight regarding the Elimination Chamber.

Rating: 8.6

Kurt Angle is his office when Finn Balor enters. Angle says he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t disappointed Balor chose the WWE Championship but he’s still proud of Balor. That saud, Finn belongs to RAW up until he gets his title shot and he’s going to be in action tonight against Bobby Lashley. Balor takes it stride and shakes Angle’s hand before he leaves.

Rating: 8.6

Quote:

The match is all Revival from the opening bell. They use quick tags and hard striking action to keep Hawkins in their corner. It’s all going according to plan until some guests arrive.

The RAW Tag Team Champions wander down to ringside and immediately garner the Revival’s attention. So much so that Zack Ryder is able to tag in and when Dash Wilder turns around he walks right into a small package. Dawson, still paying attention to AOP notices too late what’s happening and he’s a second behind the three count.

Winners by Pinfall: Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins
Rating: 7.0

At ringside, AOP and Drake Maverick find it very funny to have caused such a distraction but the Revival overcome their shock and it turns to fury. The Revival quickly hit the outside and the a massive fight breaks out. Officials floor ringside and barely get both sides separated before Kurt Angle comes out on the stage.

He says that if they want to kill each other they can do it in the ring next week, in a non title match but if the Revival can beat AOP they’ll get a title match next month at Fastlane!

Rating: 7.4

The announcers hype the next match between Nia Jax and Natalya. While Graves and Young can’t agree on the winner Michael Cole tells us we won’t have to wait long to find out. The match is next right after this break!

Rating: 7.6

Quote:

Natayla makes a crucial mistake before the bell even rings when she turns her back on Jax and pays for it when she’s avalanched in the corner. She never manages to recover as Nia unleashes her fury again and again. Natalya’s one glimmer of hope is when she jumps on Nia’s back with a sleeper but Nia fights out of it and hoists Natalya on her back before crushing her with a Samoan Drop for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Nia Jax
Rating: 7.3

We cut to the back and see Alexa Bliss watching the prior match on a monitor. Charly Caruso comes up and asks her for her thoughts. Bliss turns coldly towards Charly and says that while she may no longer be in charge of the RAW Women’s Division, everyone woman in that locker room was better off when the Goddess was out of the ring. Charly asks what that means and Alexa just smiles and says that everyone will find out soon enough.

Rating: 7.3

Dean Ambrose is by himself in some backroom of the arena. He says that Seth Rollins can look ahead to Braun Strowman all he wants. Truth is, Ambrose has his sights set dead on Seth Rollins. His pain, his suffering, his always unending knee issues. Tonight it’s no disqualification, no count out, no mercy, no surrender. Tonight Dean Ambrose won’t haunt Seth Rollins. Tonight, Dean Ambrose is going to end him.

Rating: 8.8

We’re shown a recap of last week when RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey urged Becky Lynch to choose her for WrestleMania.

Rating: 9.3

Ronda Rousey comes down to the ring and tells the crowd that in the last week she hasn’t heard anything from Becky Lynch. Now Becky may hide behind being the so called Man but in truth she’s just hiding. She’s hiding from the baddest bitch on the planet. And so when it comes to WrestleMania…..

Suddenly Becky appears on the Titantron. She tells ‘Ronnie’ that she hasn’t been hiding she’s been thinking and she’s made her decision. And if Rousey wants to know so bad, she can come to Smackdown Live tomorrow night when the Man will announce her decision. But Lynch does warn Rousey, if she tries that baddest bitch schtick tomorrow night she’ll be going to WrestleMania with a broken arm.

Rating:9.3

Quote:

An opening distraction by Rush, who’s sporting the WWE Cruiserweight Championship allows Lashley to jump Balor and control the beginning of the match but it’s the Royal Rumble winner’s ability to absorb the punishment and come back which allows him to make a comeback and put Lashley on the defense. It almost goes awry when Lashley whips Balor hard into the corner but when Lashley charges Balor rolls out of the way and Lashley doesn’t just hit the turnbuckles, he hits his head on the post and falls back like a falling redwood. Balor quickly goes to the top and comes off with the coup de grace for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Finn Balor
Rating: 8.2

Backstage, WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman tells the camera he doesn’t care if it’s Seth Rollins. He doesn’t care if it’s Dean Ambrose. This Saturday night someone is gonna GET. THESE. HANDS.

Rating: 10.0

The announcers tell us that Ronda Rousey will be on Smackdown Live tomorrow night to find out in person who Becky Lynch has decided to challenge.

A vignette is shown hyping this month’s big Elimination Chamber and the history of the
Match.

The bell hasn’t even rung before these two are face to face in the ring, and begin punching each other. Rollins gains a quick advantage but Ambrose stops him cold with a blatant low blow. Ambrose goes to the second rope but when he takes flight with a leg drop, Rollins rolls out of the way. Rollins quickly lands a solid kick to Ambrose’s temple as he’s sitting there. Rollins then hits not one, but two snap suplexes on Ambrose.

Rollins is on a roll and he keeps it up, flooring Ambrose with a series of slingblade clotheslines. He goes for a cover but Ambrose kicks out and in the process slides out of the ring. Rollins hits the other side of the ropes and then nails Ambrose on the outside with a suicide dive. When they get to their feet, Rollins whips Ambrose into the post but when Rollins follows up, Ambrose trips him and Rollins goes face first into the post. Ambrose uses some ground and pound before rolling Rollins back into the ring before Ambrose climbs to the top and flies off with a big elbow which hits the mark. He goes for a cover 1,2, Rollins kicks out!

Now Ambrose is beyond frustrated. He rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair before sliding back in. He waits for Rollins to get up and when he does, Ambrose swings for the fences but Rollins ducks and hits an enziguri. Ambrose is staggered and Rollins hits a DDT onto the chair. He makes the cover but at the last second Ambrose’s foot is on the ropes. Rollins picks up Ambrose, dragging him to the middle of the ring, and backs off, waiting for him to begin to get up. When Ambrose does, Rollins runs in for a curbstomp but Ambrose avoids it, and tries to go for Dirty Deeds but Rollins slides out, kicks Ambrose in the gut, and delivers a Falcon Arrow onto the chair for the 1-2-3.

Winner by Pinfall: Seth Rollins
Rating: 8.1

As Rollins celebrates his win, Braun Strowman comes down to the ring and climbs inside. He and Rollins go nose to nose...well, nose to chest, and are locked in staredown as the show ends.

Rusev is stalking the parking garage, screaming for Samoa Joe. Officials and security finally come out and tell him Joe isn’t coming tonight and he has a match later and he begrudgingly goes inside. However when the door to the arena slams shut, a black sedan rolls into frame and Joe gets out of the car with a large smirk.

Paige is already in the ring. She first announces the Smackdown Women’s Champion...Charlotte Flair!

Charlotte gives some customary WOOOOOs and asks why any of this is even necessary because the answer is obvious. Paige then introduces the RAW Woman’s Champion….Ronda Rousey!

Rousey comes out to a fair amount of boos and doesn’t gets in Charlotte’s face. The two look like they’re ready to throw down when we hear someone else’s music.

The Man is here! Becky takes her time making the two champions wait on her as she enjoys all eyes being on her. She’s in her glory as she walks up the steps to the ring and enters, continuing to make Charlotte and Ronda wait as she plays to the crowd. Finally she accepts a microphone from Paige. She says that from the moment she won the Royal Rumble she’s had this choice weighing on her mind. Every time she closes her eyes she sees the main event of WrestleMania but it wasn’t until recently that she envisioned who would be standing across the ring from the Man. Well the decision has been made and it's the only one she could make.

Becky walks past both champions, looking them in the eye, but suddenly she snaps back into Rousey’s face. She says that she has plenty of history with Charlotte and will probably be in the ring with her again in the future but Ronnie? She has a problem with Ronnie right here and now that needs addressing and it won’t be done until Becky takes that championship from around her waist.

Charlotte couldn’t be more annoyed or insulted and she leaves the ring as Becky and Ronda don’t move an inch away from each other, locked in a cold stare down.

It only takes a few minutes of Mysterio dodging, ducking, striking, and flying for the crowd to be chanting ‘you still got it’ and it’s like nothing has changed for the former world champion. But the Miz is no slouch either and he takes firm control of the match, grounding Mysterio and working him over. But when Miz goes for his trademark clothesline in the corner, Mysterio gets out of the way and the Miz smashes into the corner. From there Mysterio uses everything at his disposal, finally nailing a 619 for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Rey Mysterio

Paige is in her office when the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan barges in. He immediately begins complaining about Finn Balor, claiming that he shouldn’t be allowed to just show up and how a RAW superstar doesn’t belong on Smackdown Live. She cuts him off and says instead of complaining, he ought to just accept reality. At WrestleMania he’ll defend against Finn Balor and that’s final. Bryan backs off but tells her we’ll see about that.

Carmella comes out to the ring and says that it’s time for a Staten Island Open Challenge. So if anyone back there feels like taking on the Princess, come on out.

The crowd explodes as the Hall of Famer Trish Stratus comes out and walks down to the ring. Carmella has an expression that’s half astonishment and half excited. They shake hands and the referee calls for the bell.

Rating: 7.8

Quote:

The crowd is treated to the second comeback of the night and there is Stratusfaction in the air. For everything Carmella tries Trish has an answer and then some, eventually sending Carmella out to the floor with dropkick in the back. Carmella is clearly frustrated and when she reenters the ring she gains the advantage for the next few minutes. The Princess is showing growing confidence but when she whips Trish into the ropes, she lowers her head early and Trish makes her pay with a kick to the face and when Carmella rears back, a Chick Kick is on target for the 123.

Winner by Pinfall: Trish Stratus
Rating: 6.1

We see a vignette of a luxurious Mexican villa. Zelina Vega exits the house onto a large veranda and approaches Andrade Almas who is sitting in a chair looking out at a beautiful lake. She asks if he’s ready to return to Smackdown Live but he just shrugs. How can he return when he has been embarrassed by that ankle biting dog, Rey Mysterio? Zelina puts a hand on his shoulder as they both return their eyes to the lake as dramatic music plays and ‘TO BE CONTINUED” shows on the screen.

Rusev is still fired up from earlier and takes it out on Orton from the opening bell. The announcers mention Lana’s absence and how she’s still recovering from Samoa Joe’s attack last week. Orton stops Rusev in his tracks with a knee to the gut and throws him shoulder first into the post but when he tries to do it again Rusev puts on the brakes and slings Orton into the corner, battering him with heavy clubbing blows, then floors him with a big clothesline. It’s all going Rusev’s way until Samoa Joe appears on the Titantron.

Joe taunts Rusev saying he’s waiting backstage for him but says he doesn’t have all night, he’s supposed to meet Lana later to finish the job. Rusev is wide eyed and thats all Orton needs as he gets to his feet, spins Rusev around and hits an RKO. Orton makes a lazy cover and smirks his way to victory.

Winner by Pinfall: Randy Orton

The match starts off as a six man brawl which finally settles down into Hardy and Nakamura. Hardy is quickly triple teamed in the enemy corner with the Bar always taking time to taunt the Usos. When Hardy slips away from Cesaro and gets the tag to Jimmy it's a different story. The Usos begin using their timing to clean up but the action again turns turns into a brawl and in the chaos Nakamura makes a blind tag before he’s knocked off the apron. Meanwhile the Usos put Sheamus on his back and Hardy goes to the top but as Jeff flies off Cesaro pulls Sheamus out and Hardy crashes and burns. Next thing you know, both Usos suicide dive and wipe out the Bar. Nakamura slips back into the ring and as Hardy slowly recovers, he’s nailed in the face with a Kinshasa and Nakamura makes the cover.

A recap of last week’s match between New Day and Sanity is shown through still photos and voice overs but the pictures turn to black and white when we get to the post match attack, especially a bloodied Big E crawling out of the rubble of the announcer’s table.

Somewhere in the building, all five members of Sanity are to ed. Eric Young does all the talking. He says that last week was nothing personal. They have nothing against New Day, they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. From the opening bell, Mandy and Sonya shove Asuka out of the ring and focus on doubelteaming Charlotte. This goes on for several minutes until the Queen comes alive, chopping the hell out of Sonya in the corner, dropping her with a boot to the face, and hitting Natural Selection. Charlotte is feeling it, when Asuka suddenly tags herself in and the champ isn’t happy. Asuka goes to town on Sonya and then Mandy. It’s become less a tag team match and more a pissing contest between Flair and Asuka. Charlotte tags herself in and within a minute she has Mandy in the Figure Eight. As Sonya enters to break it up Asuka intercepts her and puts her in the Asuka Lock. Both women tap wildly as the ref calls for the bell.
