Default NOAH:The Start of a New Journey (2001)

Pro Wrestling NOAH 2001

on January 31, 1999 AJPW founder Shohei Baba passed away at the age of 61. With his passing opened up a hole on who would run AJPW into the next millennium. top star Mitsuharu Misawa immediately inherited the position of company president, On May 28, 2000, Misawa was removed from his position by a majority vote of the executive board. At a regular All Japan board meeting on June 13, 2000, Misawa, Mitsuo Momota (co-vice president, member of directory), Kenta Kobashi (member of directory), Akira Taue (member of directory, chairman), Kenichi Oyagi (member of directory) and Yoshihiro Momota (member of directory) resigned from their board positions. A day later, Motoko Baba ("Mrs. Baba") released a two-page written statement, which claimed that Misawa "took no responsibility and abandoned his duty." In addition, she hinted that Toshiaki Kawada and Masanobu Fuchi would be the only two native wrestlers to stay with All Japan, as "Kawada and Fuchi have sworn to carry out Baba-san's last wish: to keep All Japan Pro Wrestling alive"; this was confirmed a day later when Kawada and Fuchi both renewed their contracts with All Japan, along with referee Kyohei Wada.in retaliation to this on June 16, 2000, 24 out of the 26 contracted native wrestlers for All Japan were led by Misawa for a press conference, where it was announced that they would be leaving the promotion; more than 100 reporters and photographers attended, and Misawa expressed his wish for the promotion to debut in August, with the Differ Ariake being the site of the unnamed promotion's debut. When asked what his reason for leaving All Japan is, Misawa claimed that it was so he could do things in a "modern style." A day later, Misawa announced the promotion's name: Pro Wrestling Noah, which was inspired by the Biblical story where Noah built an ark and put two of every kind of animal in the world in the ark before God destroyed the world. On June 19, 2000, it was confirmed (at a press conference at All-Japan's dojo held by Toshiaki Kawada and Masanobu Fuchi) that NTV has decided to discontinue broadcasting All Japan after 27 years. However, NTV maintained their 15% stock in All Japan (as Motoko Baba held the remaining 85%), and would prevent All Japan from being put on another network. On June 20, twelve All Japan office employees resigned from their positions with the promotion, with intentions to follow Misawa to Noah. NTV also announced that they will carry weekly tapings of Misawa's Noah promotion, with the title of the program being called "Colosseo." Noah took All Japan's 30-minute timeslot on Sundays at midnight.

Fast Forward to where we are at in May 2001 with Pro Wrestling NOAH

Owner and Figurehead of the Promotion Mitsuharu Misawa won a 16 man tournament to crown the first ever GHC Heavyweight champion defeating Jun Akiyama in the finals on April 15th 2001 crowning it’s only champion as of the start of May 2001. the #2 Wrestler in the world Kenta Kobashi is out injured with Knee Ligament Damage which will keep him out of action for 9 months.

Before Our first Major Show Navigation with Breeze 2001 Pro Wrestling Noah wanted to boost it’s roster size and signed the following.

Vito LoGrasso

Frankie Kazarian

Pro Wrestling NOAH ends it’s tour with it’s most successful show at a 82 Rating can the new formed promotion lead by owner and Champion Misawa keep up this momentum?

Some changes are made to the promotion before the next tour starts
  • Wrestler Vito LoGrasso has been released from the company after showing poor performances
  • A new signing for the company in Haruo Murata
  • A new stable is formed in the promotion in SOUL, lead by Mohammed Yone (Kaz Hayashi and RPG Vice 2K are also apart of the stable)
  • The Members of The Holy Demon Army have been announced by Akira Taue who wants to have a group of some of the best strikers in the world (Yoshihiro Takayama,Yoshihiro Tajiri,Rob Van Dam,Vader)

The Next tour is set to end with NOAH Navigation To The Bright Destination

There are some:

"Spelling Errors"
"Punctuation Errors"
"Writing Errors"
"Booking Errors"

- - - - -

Truth be told, I might have pissed you but yeah this are the errors you need to improve first, show seems like copy & paste from the game, no one can disagree here, say what you want, but there is not even a single description of what is happening in the matches, nor is there a good promo to read from. I think the diary writing is very off, but yeah if you want to learn to write the diary then off you go to EWB forums where there is literally a very descriptive diary writing guide, most people here write due to stress and stuff that they say, but I write for enjoyment, I know you do. If you want more information then we can talk via personal messages. Again I think I might have just pissed you, but yeah I can be wrong or I can be right, Adios.

Pro Wrestling NOAH having it’s worst show so far with it’s go home show before its Navigation To The Bright Destination Event might be a bad sign for the show. But with the Main Event being Mitsuharu Misawa vs Akira Taue for The GHC Heavyweight Champion as well as the crowning of a GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion for the first time in the promotions history. it’s lining up to be a good show that we can not wait to see unfold, We’ve also got word that the Show is set to be in the Historic Nippon Budokan.
