We now have more than 200 members. Thank you to everyone that has made this a great real time experience to share between us all. Let's hope it continues to grow as positively as it has been and with minimum to no incidents and following GDS' standards. Thanks everyone.

Update: Created the new Owner Role to reflect changes that include the appointment of CodeyDBW as Administrator, thus fulfilling any administrative needs for when the Owner is not around. Gratz to Codey.

Due to popular demand, we have created a football dedicated channel. It will be kept during the busy times of the world cup (leaving the general for any other discussions) and its utility will be evaluated after that.

We have done a small revamp in the server after the end of the World Cup. The football channel is now for all sports and is appropriately called "Sports". We have also included an off-topic section that includes the new "question of the day" channel. More changes might come regarding bots, depending if it's beneficial to the server or not, and will be updated here if/when they happen.

We are now introducing partnerships in our discord. Partnerships are non profitable associations with other servers to mutually advertise each other's servers. We therefore welcome FM Lounge as our first partner. In this discord we discuss mainly Football and football manager related issues, with football related events every day and the encouraging of members participation through these interactive events. FM Lounge is a recently created server and is currently expanding its fan base. While still a work in progress, the aim is to gather everyone who likes to discuss football, as well as the football manager games, although there are also channels for other subjects and games, including channels for mafia games.

Just a quick update: We are still going strong and have surpassed the 300 members mark. Thank you to everyone that brings GDS to life in real time in this community.
