![]() Hello,
I purchased both Imperium and Arcadia years ago but I finally had to put my Windows XP rig down and replace it with this new Windows 10 64 bit system. Now both Arcadia and Imperium do not run. They both installed fine but trying to get them to work does not happen in this new system. TEW 2005(freeware version) runs well and I have not yet tried to install or run Comic Book Hero (the other GDS game I purchased). Any ideas on solutions or will there be a patch to fix this? EDIT: Okay I did not try compatibility mode for Windows 7 as I thought that Win 7, 8 and 10 were for the most part the same system. However running these games in compatibility mode for Windows 7 worked so...nevermind I guess. Last edited by Mechromancer : 12-08-2018 at 08:55 PM. Reason: Found solution |

![]() Windows 10 should be fine...did you get any errors when you ran the game?

![]() I edited my above post to note that I did get the game running by applying 'compatibility mode' for Windows 7. If I did not do that then this game will not run in Windows 10 (x64 bit...the game probably runs fine in 32 bit Windows 10).
I did not get any errors when I "ran the game" because I could not run the game until applying the Windows 7 compatibility fix. Last edited by Mechromancer : 12-09-2018 at 01:58 PM. Reason: Added information |

![]() Did you try running it in Windows 10 in admin mode? Just trying to get to the bottom of it since it runs ok on my Win10 system.

![]() Of course I ran it in Admin mode. That is the first thing I do when I attempt to install or play ANY game in Windows 10. Do you have 64 bit Windows 10? Because I think that is the most liklely culprit here. There are currently dozens of games that work fine in Windows 10 x 32 but will; not work in Windows 10 x 64 without some serious tweaking.
