WCW MAYHEM - EP. 102 - TULSA, OK - COX BUSINESS CENTER ARENA - 3-28-17 (Taped)

(Show Intro)

(Crowd Shots/Pyro)

(Announcers Tony Schiavone and Mark Madden welcomed viewers and ran down the program: Tru TV Championship: 'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair; pre-recorded comments from World Champion Dynamite Kid and challenger Davey Boy Smith; 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka sees action; Nord The Barbarian makes an appearance; and more. Then sent it to the ring.)

Match 1
'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff vs. Steve O

('Bad To The Bone' played and out came Steve O, Jimmy Hart and security Bubba Rogers to loud boos. O was in his red leg-length tights, Steve O t-shirt, black boots and sunglasses. Rogers was in a gray suit, white dress shirt unbuttoned at the two top buttons, black shoes, fedora and sunglasses. Hart was in a white suit with black musical notes all over the jacket, black shirt, thin white tie, black shoes, sunglasses and carrying his trademark megaphone. The trio climbed into the ring and Hart and O briefly played to the crowd while Rogers stood stoically in the corner.

'There's No Easy Way Out' by Robert Tepper filled the arena and out came Orndorff to a strong ovation. Orndorff was in his red robe with black sleeves, red tights with 'Mr. #1derful' written on the back and red boots with white trim. Orndorff climbed into the ring and briefly acknowledged the crowd.

Hart had final words for O before he and Rogers headed to the floor.

Ref called for the bell.

The two men came out and circled one another and started to engage in a collar-and-elbow tie-up when O let go and backed off. Orndorff let his guard down and O caught Orndorff with a head shot. Orndorff quickly shook it off and and had an enraged look on his face. O turned and tried to bail from the ring and Orndorff went over and grabbed O and slammed O's head into the top buckle. O spun around and Orndorff laid into O with a rapid-fire series of shoulder blocked to the gut. O limp in the corner. Orndorff popped O with a head shot, pulled O out of the corner, whipped O into the ropes and caught O coming off with tilt-a-whirl slam. O hurtin' for certain. Orndorff grabbed O's legs and swung O around with the leg swing and let O go and O crashed to the mat. Hart yelled at Orndorff from the floor and Orndorff sat O up and grabbed O's head and twisted O's neck. O rolled out on the apron and crashed to the floor as the fans roared. Ref ordered Orndorff to stand back and started the 20-count. Hart went over by O and started to talking to his man who was now sitting up and holding the back of his neck. Rogers removed his jacket, hat and sunglasses and climbed up on the apron. Orndorff became distracted and dared Rogers to step into the ring. Rogers glared at Orndorff. Ref broke the count and went over and ordered Rogers off the apron. Orndorff went over and got in Rogers' face and the two were exchanging heated words. While that was going on, O had recovered on the floor and climbed into the ring behind Orndorff. O charged up behind Orndorff and drove a knee into Orndorff's back. Orndorff fell front-first into the ropes and spun around. Rogers dropped back to the floor. O popped Orndorff with a some head shots, whipped Orndorff into the ropes and caught Orndorff coming off with a flying tackle. Orndorff crashed to the mat. O snapped Orndorff up and nailed Orndorff with an inverted suplex. O for the cover. 1...2... Orndorff kicked out. O stomped Orndorff in the head, snapped Orndorff up and whipped Orndorff into the ropes and caught Orndorff coming off with a dropkick. Orndorff crashed down to the mat. Orndorff up and O blasted Orndorff with a spinning back heel kick to the side of the head. Orndorff crashed to the mat, rolled out on the apron and dropped to his feet on the floor and was holding his head while leaned against the apron. Ref ordered O to stand back. Ref counting. O started to go after Orndorff but the ref intercepted O and ordered him to stand back. O distracted the ref by arguing with him. Rogers charged over and grabbed Orndorff and threw Orndorff hard, back-first into the ringside barricade. Orndorff crumpled to the floor. O continued to argue with the ref as Rogers peeled Orndorff off the floor and threw Orndorff back into the ring. O stopped arguing and went over and stomped away on Orndorff. O snapped up Orndorff and bodyslammed him. O mounted the top buckle facing the crowd and came off with a moonsault but Orndorff rolled out of the way and O crashed front-first to the mat. Both men down. Ref counting. Orndorff up with the aid of the ropes. O getting to his feet and Orndorff popped O with head shots, whipped O into the ropes and pulverized O coming off with a clothesline. O down. Orndorff picked O up, hoisted O over his shoulder and nailed O with a backbreaker drop. O laid out. Orndorff for the cover and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... O kicked out but was hardly moving. Rogers came over on the floor and started jawing at Orndorff. Orndorff once again became distracted by Rogers. Ref went over and tried to order Rogers to go stand on another side of the ring but Rogers would have none of it. The war of words continued. Announcers pointed out that Orndorff and Rogers engaged in a hot feud last year.

As Orndorff and the ref were both looking at Rogers, O recovered and crawled up behind Orndorff and blasted Orndorff with a low-blow. Orndorff toppled to the mat holding his jewels. Rogers suddenly left the area and went back over by Hart. Ref turned and saw O crawl over and cover Orndorff. 1...2...thr... Orndorff kicked out but was still hurting. O stomped Orndorff in the back and snapped Orndorff up, whipped Orndorff into the ropes and looked to catch Orndorff coming off with a clothesline but Orndorff ducked the move and came back and nailed O with a flying shoulder tackle. Both men down. Orndorff rolled over on his side still holding his nuts. Ref counting. Both men made it to their feet and Orndorff started to move slowly in O's direction and O nailed Orndorff with his codebreaker finisher. Hart jumping up and down with glee at ringside. O covered Orndorff and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... Orndorff kicked out. O with a stunned look on his face. Hart in disbelief at ringside. O snapped Orndorff up and went to hit Orndorff with a rolling neckbreaker but Orndorff escaped the hold and nailed O with a kick to the gut that doubled O over. Orndorff started to hoist O up for the piledriver but then dropped O to the mat and fell against the ropes holding his goods. O slowly got to his feet and went to punch Orndorff but Orndorff blocked the punch try and fired away on O with a series of head shots, whipped O into the ropes and blasted O coming off with a flying shoulder tackle. O crashed to the mat. Orndorff made it to his feet and quickly gathered himself, snapped O up and popped O with his inverted DDT (Scorpion Death Drop) finisher. Orndorff covered O and hooked the leg. 1...2...3! Ref called for the bell as the fans roared.

Orndorff rolled off of O and got to his knees and was still wincing in pain from the ball blow. Ref raised Orndorff's hand in victory. Rogers climbed into the ring and jumped Orndorff and started pounding the hell out of Orndorff. Rogers whipped Orndorff into the buckles and charged in looking to avalanche Orndorff, but Orndorff moved and Rogers crashed front-first into the buckles. Rogers extracted himself from the buckles and backed out holding his gut. Rogers turned and Orndorff kicked Rogers in the gut and then hoisted Rogers up and blasted him with a piledriver that sent the crowd into orbit. Rogers laid out in the ring. Orndorff got up and with hands on hips looked down at Rogers before leaving the ring and dropping to the floor and heading back up the aisle as the fans cheered.

WINNER: Orndorff - Pinfall - Inverted DDT - 7:49)

(Announcers discussed Orndorff beating O and then piledriving Rogers after the match. Hyped still to come: Tru TV Championship: 'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair; pre-recorded comments from World Champion Dynamite Kid and challenger Davey Boy Smith; 'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka sees action; and more. Said Nord The Barbarian makes an appearance next!)

(In-ring: Craig Johnson.

CJ: "We are back on 'Mayhem'. I'm Craig Johnson.

"Please welcome my guest at this time...Nord The Barbarian!"

'Steel Monkey' played and out came Nord to a good ovation. Nord was in street clothes and had his chain, Valhalla, draped around his neck. Nord made his way to the ring and climbed in. Nord stomped around the ring while waving his chain in the air.

CJ: "Nord, your side suffered a setback in the war with the Sheik's Army last week when you and Sgt. Slaughter lost a tough match to Killer Khan and One Man Gang thanks to Khan kicking Sarge with that questionable boot. How's the Sarge doing right now?"

Nord: "Sgt. Slaughter is fine now! After being kicked by Khan with that loaded, and it is loaded, I have no question about that, boot, the Sarge couldn't breath! He was at Khan's mercy once he was kicked! He said he blacked out briefly from the pain right after the kick! But he'll be back to fight another day for our side! And this war has really just begun!"

CJ: "Abdullah came out and tried to interfere in the match and you got distracted in fighting with him."

Nord: "When I see Abdullah I lose all control! He kept me from trying to break up Khan's pin on Slaughter! Nothing was settled at 'Spring Breakout' between me and him! You see this?!"

Nord pulled the chain off from around his neck and held it up.

CJ: "That's Valhalla."

Nord: "That's right! I want a re-match with Abdullah! I want a match where there are no rules and I can use this on him without having to worry about being disqualified or fined!

"I know Rob Russen is here! Let's get him out here right now!"

Russen came out in a suit to very little response. Russen made his way to the ring and climbed in.

CJ: "Rob Russen of the match-making committee."

RR: "Nord, what's this about?"

Nord: "Rob! I want another crack at Abdullah and I want it to be a No Disqualification match! You're the head of the match-making committee! Make it happen!"

Crowd cheered.

RR: "Nord, as you said, nothing was settled between you and Abdullah at 'Spring Breakout'. I will have to talk to the other members of the committee to see if we can make it happen. But, I think it's a pretty safe bet that the committee will agree to your request. And if the match goes down, it will take place at the 2-year anniversary 'Mayhem' show."

Crowd cheered.

Nord: "That's what I wanted to hear, Russen! No rules! Just a fight to the finish! There must be a winner!"

RR: "The committee will work on it. But, like I said..."

Crowd booed as Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey walked out on the entrance stage with mic in hand. He was in a suit and keffiyeh.

AK: "So, Nord, you want another match with Abdullah, huh?! Last week, the turnaround started in our war! I welcome the match! I welcome the stipulation for the match! This is Abdullah's kind of match! Abdullah lives up to his nickname! He is a butcher! And he will butcher you! No disqualification! No mercy! He's gonna carve you up like a Thanksgiving turkey!"

Nord: "Sheik! He may be a butcher! But I'm a berzerker! I welcome violence like most people welcome an old friend! This match is right up my alley, too! When we collide, it promises to be a war! Only this time there will be a winner! And the match will be won by any means necessary!"

AK: "The Army is back on track! And we will continue our march to victory when Abdullah leaves you a broken and battered man in that ring in three weeks!"

Nord: "The berzerker loves a good fight! He fights for sport! He fights in war! And this is war! I'll see your man Abdullah in three weeks!"

Long-distance staredown between Nord and Sheik.

CJ: "You fans heard it! Now, it's up to the match-making committee to decide if this match goes down on the 2-year anniversary edition of 'Mayhem'."

RR: "Craig, I'm going to try and have this match signed, sealed and delivered before the end of the program."

CJ: "Tony and Mark.")

(Announcers discussed the match requested by Nord against Abdullah. Said that they hope to have an announcement about whether it will happen before they go off the air. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "This is Scott Hudson in the WCW Interview Center.

"My guest at this time is the reigning Tru TV Champion...'Million Dollar' Bill."

Bill walked into the interview area in his ring attire. He had the title around his waist and was carrying his briefcase.

SH: "Bill, tonight you're defending the Tru TV Championship against Ric Flair in our main event. Were you shocked at the news that you would be defending the title against him?"

MDB (chuckled): "I'm about as shock-proof as you can get, Hudson. I'm sure when the championship committee ordered this match they thought they were really putting one over on me. But they're wrong.

"Ric is one of the best of all-time in our illustrious sport. I welcome the challenge. And I intend to prove to everyone out there that even legends sometimes disappoint. And the fans will be very disappointed in Ric Flair tonight."

SH: "That's quite a boastful statement. Flair's track record has been equaled by only a few men in wrestling."

MDB: "No one is perfect, my boy. I'm as close to perfection as you can get. I have the looks; the money; the talent; and the Tru TV Championship. Ric likes to style-and-profile. But he doesn't do that better than me. He's met his match tonight. Flair may have class. But I have class on a level even he doesn't come close to. Everything in my life is only the best. Better than anything Flair will ever attain in this life.

"His best friends are other wrestlers. My best friends are the elite in society. Movie stars. Businessmen. Politicians. He's not in my league. And he won't be in my league in the ring tonight.

"I won this title because I deserve it because of my status in society. And I'll be damned if I'm giving it up. Even to a legend like Ric Flair."

Bill walked out of the interview area.

SH: "We'll see if 'Million Dollar' Bill can back up his words as he defends the Tru TV Championship against Ric Flair in our main event.")

(Announcers hyped the main event. Said Jimmy Snuka sees action next!)

Match 2
'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka w/ Don Muraco vs. Denny Brown

(Brown was already in the ring and announced.

Snuka destroyed Brown from the opening bell and made quick work of Brown. Snuka dispatched Brown with his Superfly Death Leap finisher to score the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Snuka - Pinfall - Superfly Death Leap - 1:14)

(After the match:

Muraco went over and demanded the ring mic from Craig Johnson and got it. Muraco stepped into the ring and briefly congratulated Snuka.

DM: "Well, we lost the tag team titles to the Skyscrapers at 'Spring Breakout'."

Most of the crowd cheered the news.

DM: "Oh! You white people cheer your trailer park heroes winning. But, the final chapter of this book has not been written yet.

"You see, there's this little thing called a re-match clause in the contract. We intend to trigger that clause...and soon. Very soon. Right, Jimmy?"

JS: "That's right, bruddah. I feel naked without that tag team title around my waist."

DM: "We want our re-match and we want it on a big stage. We want it at the 2-year anniversary 'Mayhem' show. The white trash Skyscrapers have had their fun in the sun. It's time to put the earth back on its axis. And that will happen when these two island boys regain those tag belts. There's nothing better to give on any anniversary than the gift of gold. And Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey are gonna give us the gold that's around their waists. Jimmy, what say you?"

JS: "I like it. It sounds like a wonderful anniversary present for us. We certainly deserve them."

DM: "You got that right, man. No one deserves those belts more than us. We were born to be champions. And we will be the champions once again in a very short period of time. And you white folk can break out your crying towels when the referee hands us those belts once again. And this time, good luck getting them off of us for a long, long time."

JS: "Don, once again you speak words of wisdom. It's amazing."

DM: "Tell it, Jimmy. Keep speaking the truth. Maybe one day the whiteys will understand what we mean to this sport and appreciate us even though we aren't of the pasty crowd."

Muraco went over by the ropes and tossed the mic to Craig Johnson and he and Snuka left the ring and made their way back up the aisle to mainly boos but also some cheers.)

(Announcers discussed Muraco and Snuka looking to trigger their re-match clause for the tag belts at the 2-year anniv. 'Mayhem' show on April 18. Hyped still to come: Tru TV Championship: 'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. Ric Flair. Said pre-recorded comments from the Dynamite Kid (WC) and Davey Boy Smith were coming up after the break. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "This is Scott Hudson in the WCW Interview Center.

"My guest at this time is the incomparable Ric Flair."

Flair walked into the interview area in his ring attire.

SH: "Ric, you're challenging 'Million Dollar' Bill for the Tru TV Championship in our main event tonight.

"But, before I get to that, you had a war of words with Mr. Anderson last week."

RF: "Things are just getting started between Mr. Anderson and the 'Nature Boy', Hudson! We both want the match! The WCW Match-Making Committee needs to get moving and make it happen! Anderson is an obnoxious jerk who needs to be shut up! And I stand by what I said last week! If I catch him in the figure four I'm gonna try and break his leg!"

SH: "That sounds a little extreme. Wouldn't beating him be satisfaction enough?"

RF: "In most cases it would be! But this is one of those times where I'm willing to make an exception! I don't want to just beat him! I want to injure him! This thing has been building and building and building for weeks now! He needs that smirk wiped off of his face! When the match finally happens, I intend to end it with a bang!"

SH: "Changing the subject, you've got a chance to become the Tru TV Champion tonight. I talked with 'Million Dollar' Bill earlier, and he seems confident heading into this match."

RF: "I liked 'Million Dollar' Bill Irwin better when he was one-half of the Long Riders with his brother Scott! The money has changed him and not in a good way! He's a pompous ass now! I'll give him his due, he's a solid wrestler! But that's not gonna deter me in my quest to hold a major championship belt once again! He thinks he's something because of his bank account! 'Million Dollar' Bill, brother, tonight you're gonna find out what stylin'-and-profilin' is really all about! Whoo!")

(Announcers intro'd video from the end of last week's Zbysko-Zenk match where Zbysko pinned Zenk while holding the tights. Video aired.)

(Announcers said that a re-match has been ordered. Tom Zenk vs. Larry Zbysko next week on 'Mayhem'.)

(Announcers then intro'd video of pre-recorded comments from the Dynamite Kid (WC) and Davey Boy Smith as they prepare for their re-match in a steel cage at the 2-year 'Mayhem' anniv. show on April 18.

VIDEO:

Video opened with Davey Boy Smith standing in the WCW Interview Center. He was in street clothes and had a mic.

DBS: "On April 18th history will be made...again. It was actually made at 'Spring Breakout'. But Tony Garea of the championship committee decided to stick his beak where it didn't belong, got the decision reversed, and Kid is still the World Champion even though I pinned him. But it's just a momentary setback.

"You see, I proved I could beat Kid already. What will Kid or any of the WCW brass say when I beat him inside a steel cage? Will they try and screw me over again and take away what should already be mine? I don't think so. Because when we step inside the steel...the only weapon will be the cage itself. The cage is the most unforgiving weapon in our sport. It doesn't give. It tears flesh. It causes injuries. It shows no remorse. And neither will I in less than three weeks.

"Dynamite, there will be no escape from me. I'm more than deserving to be the WCW World Champion. This is my destiny. And no one can stop my destiny; not even you. There will be no lame reverse decision. This will be a fight to the finish. And I will finally outshine you, Dynamite. No longer will I stand in your shadow while the wrestling press and fans fawn all over you. I will be the big dog and you, Dynamite, will feel the pain of my ferocious bite.

"And next week on 'Mayhem', don't miss it, I will be putting on an exhibition inside a steel cage to show you people how cruel the cage actually is. See you there."

Picture flipped and Kid was sitting on the end of a weight bench. He was in a sweat stained gray t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes and had a towel draped around his neck. He was holding a mic. Kid had been working out and took a moment to wipe the sweat off his face.

DK: "It's hard to believe that 'Mayhem' will be celebrating its second anniversary on April 18th. It will be a big night for the promotion. There will be great matches and a lot of celebrating. I hope to be celebrating too.

"The reason I will be facing Davey Boy in a cage for the World Title in our re-match is to make sure that Mr. Anderson doesn't interfere.

"You proud of what you did in our match at 'Spring Breakout', Davey? It took a lot of guts to put my lights out with that foreign object that Mr. Anderson handed to you, didn't it? We may no longer be friends, Davey. But if you're going to beat me and take the World Title, at least do it like a man. Beat me on your own merits. Beat me cleanly and without controversy so you can honestly stand before the fans and say that you were the better man in our cage match. Let's enter the cage like two honorable ring warriors. And may the best man win.

"Our fight transcends the World Championship. It's bigger than that. Personal honor is also at stake here. Our hometown, Liverpool, is divided over this match. They can't believe it has come to this, Davey. It's like Trump vs. Hillary over there. Families and friendships have been torn apart because our fellow Liverpoolers are each lining up in support of you or me. There is no middle ground here.

"And there will be no middle ground when we step into that steel cage with each other. One of us is leaving that cage the victor; the other is leaving as the loser. And neither of us will be the same when it's over."

Video faded to black.)

'Mayhem' 2-Year Anniversary Show - Tuesday - April 18 - Rochester, MN - Mayo Civic Center - 9pm E/P on Tru TV - Tickets on sale NOW!)

Match 3 (Tru TV Championship)
'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair

('Also Sprach Zarathustra' played and out came Flair to a rousing ovation. Flair was in his blue robe with 'Nature Boy' written across the back in cursive letters, light blue tights and light blue boots with 'RF' in dark blue lettering on the outside of each boot. Flair made his way to the ring and climbed in. Flair briefly styled and profiled for the fans.

'Money' by Pink Floyd played and out came 'Million Dollar' Bill to pretty strong boos. He was wearing a silver and black tuxedo-like satin jacket with tails. On the back it said 'MDB' in silver lettering with black trim and several silver '$' signs with black trim spread all over the back. He had a silver bow tie. He was wearing silver and black leg-length tights with the word 'Millionaire' written across the back of the tights in silver lettering with black trim and silver boots with a black $ sign on the outside of each boot. The TV Title was around his waist. He was carrying his briefcase containing his Battle Royal winnings.

Bill stepped into the ring and held the briefcase in the air to more boos and then handed the briefcase off to the ref and pointed right in the ref's face and told the ref to be careful with the case. Ref handed the case off to ring announcer Craig Johnson, who took the case and sat it on the timekeeper's table.

Ref took the title and held it up for all to see before handing it off to Craig Johnson.

Ref called both men to the middle of the ring and laid down the ground rules and patted each man down as Flair and Bill stared each other down. Ref sent both men to their corners.

Ref called for the bell.

They came out of their corners and circled one another and Flair yelled 'Whoo!' and then the two engaged in a collar-and-elbow tie-up and Bill gained the advantage and locked Flair in a hammerlock. Flair reversed the move and then locked Bill in a hammerlock and Bill quickly made it to the ropes and grabbed the top rope to force a break in the hold. The two circled one another again and engaged in another collar-and-elbow tie-up and Bill drove Flair into the corner. Ref ordered a break and it was clean and then Bill messed up Flair's hair. Flair glared at Bill as Bill chuckled and Flair responded by laying into Bill with a series of skin-reddening chest chops. Flair whipped Bill into the buckles and mounted the middle buckle and laid into Bill with a series of head shots. Bill grabbed Flair around the waist and went to nail Flair with an inverted atomic drop but Flair blocked the move and nailed Bill with another chest chop. The chop spun Bill around facing away from Flair and Flair dropped down and rolled up Bill from behind for the pin. 1...2... Bill kicked out. Bill angrily got to his feet and Flair did the 'Whoo!' right in Bill's face and Bill angrily stomped around the ring and kicked the middle rope. Bill briefly sized up Flair and charged at him and Flair caught Bill with an arm drag and turned it into an arm bar. Bill on his knees. Bill got to his feet still locked in the hold. Flair tightened up on the hold as Bill looked to escape it. Bill would not submit. Flair then shifted to a wrist lock and did the wrist burn that drove Bill back to a knee. Bill to his feet. Flair did the wrist burn again and Bill countered with a head shot. Flair lost his grip on the hold. Bill whipped Flair into the ropes and caught Flair coming off with a lariat. Flair getting up and Bill caught Flair with a knee lift to the chest and then slammed Flair's head into the top buckle. Flair spun around in the corner and Bill drove a series of knees into Flair's gut. Bill whipped Flair towards the opposite buckles and Flair flipped over the top buckle and crashed to the floor. Ref ordered Bill to stand back and Bill ignored the ref and dropped to the floor. Flair getting up and Bill caught Flair with a head shot, grabbed Flair around the waist and drove Flair back-first into the ring post. Flair leaned against the apron and holding his back. Ref counting. Bill grabbed Flair and slammed Flair's into the ring announcers' table three times and Flair crumpled to the floor. Bill rolled in and out of the ring to break the ref's 20-count. Flair had gotten to his knees and Bill went to kick Flair in the chest but Flair grabbed Bill's foot and Flair rose to his feet. Flair yanked on Bill's leg and Bill lost his balance and crashed to the floor. Flair dropped down on top of Bill and nailed Bill with a series of head shots. Ref counting. Flair snapped Bill up and nailed Bill with a modified atomic drop on the ringside barricade. Bill's nuts welded to the barricade as Flair rolled in and out of the ring to break the count. Bill started getting off the barricade and Flair caught Bill with a right to the jaw and threw Bill back into the ring. Flair climbed up on the apron and mounted the top buckle as Bill slowly, painfully made it to his feet. Bill up and Flair came off the top buckle with a double sledge to the top of the head that connected. Bill crumpled to the mat. Flair reached down and grabbed Bill's left leg and yanked on it a few times and started to lock Bill into the figure 4 but Bill kicked Flair off and Flair crashed front-first into the buckles. Bill made it to his feet as Flair was leaned against the buckles. Flair extracted himself from the buckles and turned and Bill caught Flair with a legdive takedown and locked Flair in a single leg crab. Bill cinched up on the hold as Flair fought to not submit. Flair was able to crawl close enough to the ropes and get his hand on the bottom rope to force a break in the hold.

Flair up and Bill caught Flair with a series of kicks to the back of the left knee area that he had just crabbed. Flair toppled to the mat. Bill then grabbed Flair's left leg, mocked Flair by yelling 'Whoo!' and started to apply the figure 4 when Flair reached up and caught Bill in a small package for the pin. 1...2... Bill kicked out. Both men up and Bill caught Flair with a head shot and Flair responded by tearing Bill a new one with a stiff series of rapid-fire chest chops. Flair for the cover and hooked the leg. 1...2... Bill kicked out. Flair snapped Bill up in a side headlock and Bill countered with a belly-to-back suplex. Bill popped Flair in the head with a series of punches and covered Flair once again. 1...2...thr... Flair kicked out. Bill snapped Flair up and went to whip Flair into the ropes but Flair reversed and caught Bill coming off with a big chest chop that sent Bill crashing to the mat. Flair briefly regained his bearings as Bill made his way to his feet. Bill walked towards Flair and swung and missed and Flair caught Bill with a shin breaker. Bill crashed to the mat and Flair quickly locked Bill in the figure 4. Crowd roaring. Bill in dire pain. Flair cinched up on the hold. Bill started scooting towards the ropes still locked in the hold. After a little more struggle, Bill finally got close enough to get his hands on the middle rope to force a break. Bill got up and was hobbling. Flair went to go after Bill but Bill bailed to the ring apron. Ref ordered Flair to stand back and Flair did. Ref counting. Bill shaking out his left leg. Bill started to slowly climb back into the ring and Flair moved towards him and Bill bailed to the floor as Flair looked on from the ring. Bill looked up at Flair and then gave the blow-off gesture and walked over and grabbed his belt and briefcase off the timekeeper's table. Bill waved goodbye to Flair and started to walk back up the aisle when Flair bolted the ring, came up behind Bill, spun Bill around and nailed Bill with a series of head shots. Bill dropped the belt and the briefcase in the aisle. Ref counting. Flair grabbed Bill and ran Bill back towards the ring and threw Bill in. Bill got to his feet as Flair climbed in and Bill started backing up and begging off until he was backed into the ropes. Flair feigned like he was gonna punch Bill and Bill covered up. Bill then let his guard down and Flair laid into Bill with chest chops. Bill staggered out of the corner and Flair grabbed Bill and whipped Bill into the ropes and caught Bill coming off with a big chest chop that dropped Bill.

Mr. Anderson, in his ring attire, came out and made his way to the ring. On the way, he picked up the TV Title in the aisle that was dropped earlier by Bill. Anderson went to hit Flair with a head shot but Flair blocked the punch try and popped Anderson with a couple of head shots of his own and then blasted Anderson with a couple of big chest chops. Anderson wobbly and holding the top rope with one hand. Bill had recovered, grabbed the title off the apron and came up behind Flair and bashed Flair in the back of the head with the belt. Flair crumpled to the mat. Bill tossed the belt to the other side of the ring as Anderson stepped in. Bill covered Flair and hooked the leg. Anderson counted. 1...2...3! Anderson jumped up and called for the bell as the crowd booed.

Anderson then went over and demanded the ring mic from Craig Johnson and got it as Bill went over and picked up the belt off the mat.

MA: "Here is your winner...and STILL the Tru TV Champion...'Million Dollar' Bill!"

Anderson raised Bill's hand in victory.

MA: "And the piece of garbage still laying on the mat...the LOSER...'Nature Boy' Ric Flair!"

Loud boos cascaded down as Anderson and Bill shook hands and briefly embraced and then Anderson raised Bill's hand once again in victory and Bill held the belt up with his other hand as the program faded to black.

.)

(In-ring: Craig Johnson.

CJ: "Welcome, wrestling fans, to 'Mayhem'! We are coming to you from Ogden, Utah!"

Fans cheered.

CJ: "Would you please welcome my guest at this time. He has been causing all sorts of problems for Ric Flair lately...Mr. Anderson!"

'I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide' filled the arena and out came Anderson to loud boos. He was in street clothes. Anderson made his way to the ring and stepped in.

CJ: "Mr. Anderson, you just keep piling up..."

MA: "Before you go any further, Johnson, I must say I did a great job as an emergency referee last week in the TV championship match between 'Million Dollar' Bill and Ric Flair."

More boos.

CJ: "You dragged the referee out of the ring and threw him down on the floor just as Ric Flair was on the verge of winning the Tru TV Championship! You wound up costing him the match! The WCW Championship Committee has thrown out the decision in the match because a sanctioned official didn't make the count, you did, after you distracted Flair and 'Million Dollar' Bill hit Flair in the head with the belt leading to the pinfall! I've heard that Flair is an angry man right now! If I was you, I would tread very lightly! You're playing with fire!"

MA: "Ric Flair is paying for screwing me over by not having the match we were supposed to have at 'Spring Breakout'! And he's gonna continue to get screwed until we finally have a match with each other! When you're a double-crosser like Flair, you don't deserve a championship! Flair winning the TV title last week would have been a black eye for the sport! This is..."

Crowd popped as Ric Flair walked out and came down the aisle. Flair was in street clothes. Flair power-walked to the ring and climbed in. Flair walked right up to Anderson and was about 6 inches from Anderson's face.

RF: "Hey, Ric! Good to see ya! Did they throw you out of the bar for not being able to pay your tab or something?!"

Brief pause...and then...POP!

Flair slapped Anderson hard across the face. Anderson staggered. Johnson bailed to the floor. Flair moved in and pulverized Anderson with a series of head shots, whipped Anderson into the ropes and blasted Anderson coming off with a big chest chop. Anderson crashed to the mat. Flair quickly pulled off his shirt and tossed it out of the ring. A shaky Anderson made it to his feet, turned and walked right into a shin breaker from Flair. Anderson down. Flair wasted no time in locking Anderson into the figure 4 as the crowd roared.

Madden: "Flair has threatened to break Anderson's leg with this hold! He might try and do it right now!"

Flair tightened up on the hold and Anderson was writhing in pain. Flair was relentless and started rocking back-and-forth to add pressure.

Schiavone: "Yep! It looks like Flair wants to break Anderson's leg!"

Members of WCW security charged out and hit the ring. Two members tried to pull Flair off of Anderson but it wasn't working. Anderson screaming in agony. Flair had a look of a man possessed. Another member of the security team stepped in and, after a brief struggle, finally pulled Flair off of Anderson. Flair was pulled to his feet and wanted to get at Anderson again but security held him at bay. Anderson down and grabbing his left knee area. More security came to the ring to get control of situation. Some members of security checked on Anderson and helped him to his feet as Flair was now surrounded by six security members. Anderson was helped over by the ropes and carefully led out of the ring, down the steps and to the floor. Anderson winced in pain and was helped back up the aisle by two security members and was now hopping on one leg.

Flair went over and demanded the ring mic from Johnson and got it.

RF: "Anderson! The next time I lock you in the figure 4, I'm gonna break your damn leg!"

Crowd roared as Anderson was helped to the back and Flair tossed the mic and paced around the ring like a caged animal as security made sure Flair stayed in the ring.)

(Announcers discussed Flair confronting Anderson and Flair attempting to break Anderson's leg. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "This is Scott Hudson in the WCW Interview Center.

"My guests at this time are 'Cowboy' Bob Orton and the returning Scott Irwin."

Orton and Irwin walked into the interview area. Both were in their ring attire.

SH: "Scott Irwin, welcome back to WCW! What have you been up to recently?"

SI: "It's great to be back in WCW, Scott. I've been on a wrestling tour all over Asia. I faced some great competition over there; but it's great to be back in the States."

SH: "You get thrown right into the fire on your return as you and Bob Orton battle Jimmy Snuka and Don Muraco in our main event later tonight."

SI: "That's a quite a homecoming. Muraco and Snuka are two of the toughest men in our sport and this should be one helluva match."

SH: "Bob Orton. You lost the Tru TV Championship to Scott's brother, 'Million Dollar' Bill, at 'Spring Breakout', but it's obvious you're ready to get back in the saddle and ride again."

BO: "It was tough to lose the TV title. But in this sport you can't dwell on the losses. You have to be able to bounce back quickly.

"I'm excited to be wrestling with Scott against Muraco and Snuka. We know what those guys can do. We know what they're capable of. But we're ready for this match tonight. Those boys wanna fight and we're gonna bring it to 'em."

SI: "I haven't been able to use my impaler DDT on anyone in the States in a while. Hopefully, I'll get to use it on Muraco or Snuka tonight."

Camera panned in on Hudson.

SH: "That was Bob Orton and Scott Irwin. They seem primed and ready to take on Don Muraco and Jimmy Snuka in our main event.")

(Announcers hyped the main event. Said the Re-Match: Tom Zenk vs. Larry Zbysko was coming up next.)

DM: "What is our goal?! Are you serious?! Our goal is to win the match, you white moron!"

SH: "There's no need to verbally abuse the interviewer."

DM: "There is if he asks a stupid question. And that was the numero uno of stupid questions."

SH: "is their a bigger goal at stake here if you win the match?"

DM: "Now that's not a dumb question.

"I know the members of the championship committee are sitting at home eating bons bons, doing their toenails and watching the show right now."

DM: "That's right; cuckold white men. Me and Jimmy want to trigger the re-match clause in our contract and face the Skyscrapers for the World Tag Team Titles on the 2-year anniversary 'Mayhem' show. DM: "Two guys who are the epitome of white trash. And we're really good at taking out the white trash. I hope those guys are prepared to face a couple of island boys. JS: "We're not looking past this match. We've got a job to do and we're gonna do it. Bob Orton and Scott Irwin will be a good test before we face the Skyscrapers for the tag team titles again."

RR: "I do, Scott. Ric, I wanted to tell you face-to-face that you will be wrestling Mr. Anderson on the 2-year anniversary episode of 'Mayhem' in two weeks. I will also be informing Mr. Anderson in just a few minutes."

SH: "Ric?"

RF: "It's about time this match was made. We knew it was coming; we just didn't know when. I am as angry now as I was in the ring when I locked Mr. Anderson in the figure 4. And I'll tell you right now I was trying to break that punk's leg.

"Russen, when you go talk to Mr. Anderson after you leave here, give him this message for me. I'm gonna finish what I started tonight and I'm gonna break...his...leg."

CJ: "George, you have agreed to take part in this exhibition with Davey Boy Smith?"

GS: "That's correct."

CJ: "OK. Let's bring out Davey Boy Smith."

'Some Heads Are Gonna Roll' by Judas Priest played and out came Smith to strong boos. Smith was in tights that had the Union Jack design on the front and back and blue ring boots with red trim. Smith made his way down the aisle and climbed into the cage.

CJ: "Davey, do you have anything to say before you begin this exhibition?"

DBS: "I do. What I am about to show everyone is how the cage can be used in a match as a weapon of mass destruction to weaken your opponent and ultimately defeat him.

"George South, are you ready?"

South shook his head 'yes'.

DBS: "Here goes."

Smith sucker punched South in the jaw and then threw South head-first into the cage. South stumbled back and crashed to the mat. Smith snapped South up and raked South's head across the steel mesh as South screamed in pain. Smith let go of South and South went down on the mat on his front side.

DBS: "Craig, many people think that the steel mesh is smooth; but it's not actually. There are small, rough jagged spots on it. You can see the barbs here, here and here."

Smith stomped South in the back of the head and pulled South to his feet. South was bleeding. Smith was holding South up by the back of the hair.

DBS: "The more you can rub a wrestler's head across the jagged mesh, the more he will bleed and the blood loss can weaken him. Watch."

Smith again rubbed South's head violently across the mesh. Smith let go and South again crashed down to the mat on his front side.

DBS: "His head should be really torn open now."

Smith reached down and pulled South to his knees. South was now bleeding profusely.

DBS: "Suck it up, lad! There's more of the demonstration to go!"

Smith grabbed South's hair and laid into the wound with punches. South back down on his front side.

CJ: "This seems to be getting a little out of hand..."

DBS: "It's okay, mate. I've got it all under control."

Smith snapped South up. South bleeding even more.

CJ: "My God! I think he's being blinded by the blood running into his eyes! I think we've seen enough!"

DBS: "Here's another way to really f your opponent up using the cage!"

Smith hoisted South up and threw South like a lawn dart towards the cage. South crashed head-first into it. South crashed to the mat and was now laid out and a bloody mess.

CJ: "That's enough of this exhibition, Davey! Thank you!"

DBS: "I'm just getting started. Watch this."

Smith reached down and started peeling South off the mat.

Crowd popped as Dynamite Kid, in street clothes and minus the title, charged down the aisle.

Smith pulled South to his feet as Kid opened the cage door and climbed in. Smith let go of South and Kid jumped on Smith and the two started brawling with each other. South down and out on the mat wearing a crimson mask. Kid and Smith were slugging it out in the ring when Smith stunned Kid with a knee to the gut. Smith caught Kid with a couple of head shots and then rubbed Kid's face across the steel mesh. Smith let go of Kid and Kid went down. Smith turned to Johnson.

DBS: "Craig! That son of a bitch had no right to come down here and ruin my exhibition!"

Kid made it to his feet and was bleeding. Smith turned and Kid charged over and tackled Smith to the mat and started pounding the hell out of Smith with punches. Smith fought back and the two were rolling around in the ring pounding each other. Members of WCW security came charging out of the back and made their way to the ring and climbed in. The security members were trying, and failing to pull the two apart. After a struggling for a bit, security finally separated the two and pulled them to their feet. Smith was pushed into one corner and Kid into another. A few more security team members hit the ring and looked to keep the two men at bay. Things seemed to be settling down when Kid broke away from the security that was holding him back. Kid charged over and jumped on Smith and started punching Smith. Smith got a few shots in of his own and a brief punch exchange ensued before security separated them once again. Kid and Smith wanted to tear into each other some more but security basically formed a wall between the two. Security tried to get Smith out of the cage but Smith was having none of it. After several tense seconds, Smith appeared to finally acquiesce and started moving towards the cage door when Smith suddenly punched two security members and charged over and jumped on Kid. The two briefly exchanged punches again before security separated the two. Security physically restrained Kid as other members of security used force to push Smith towards the cage door and force him out of the ring and down to the floor. Smith started yelling and pointing at Kid from the floor. Kid managed to break free from security and went over and started scaling the side of the cage but two members of security grabbed Kid's legs and wouldn't let him go. Kid yelling for Smith to get back in the cage. Smith then started walk up the ring steps to re-enter the cage but security physically stopped him and pulled him back down to the floor. An angry Kid glared down at Smith as Kid was still standing on the top rope and being held by the legs by security and Smith glared back at Kid as the program faded to black.)

END PROGRAM

WCW MAYHEM - EP. 104 - OGDEN, UT - GOLDEN SPIKE ARENA - 4-11-17 (Taped)

(Show Intro)

(Crowd Shots/Pyro)

(Announcers Tony Schiavone and Mark Madden welcomed viewers to the last 'Mayhem' before next week's big 2-year anniversary of the program. They then ran down the show: The final confrontation between Dynamite Kid (WC) and Davey Boy Smith before their World Title re-match in a steel cage next week; Sgt. Slaughter vs. Killer Khan; Ric Flair makes an appearance; Abdullah The Butcher sees action; the final 'Mayhem' 2-Year Anniversary Show Update; and more! Then sent it to the ring.)

Match 1 (Non-Title)
The Skyscrapers (WTTC) vs. Tommy Angel & Tony Zane

(Zane and Angel were already in the ring and announced.

'Steel Monkey' played and out came Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey to a huge ovation. The pair were dressed in black tights and boots and had the tag titles around their waists. The pair made their way to the ring and climbed in.

The champs made quick work of Zane and Angel. Sid blasted Zane with a powerbomb to score the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Skyscrapers - Pinfall - Sid pinned Zane with a powerbomb - :58)

(Post-Match Interview: Craig Johnson.

CJ: "The World Tag team Champion Skyscrapers make quick work of Zane and Angel as we kick off this edition of 'Mayhem'.

"Sid Vicious and Dan Spivey, it has been signed. You will be defending the World Tag Team Titles in a re-match against former champs Don Muraco and Jimmy Snuka next week on the big 2-year anniversary edition of 'Mayhem'."

SV: "That's right, Craig! Muraco and Snuka triggered the re-match clause and now they've got their wish!"

DS: "They've got their wish alright! But there's an old saying: 'Be careful what you wish for!' We took these guys down a month ago! We know what it takes to beat them! And we're confident that we can get the job done next week!"

CJ: "There is a intriguing subplot to this match. And that is the Sheik's Army. Do you think they'll try and interfere in the match?"

SV: "They tried to cost us the match at 'Spring Breakout' and failed! Me and Danny know they might be lurking around in the building somewhere! We know they might try to pull the same stunt again! But we'll be ready for 'em! And the result will be the same!"

CJ: "You guys are..."

Most in the crowd booed as Muraco and Snuka, both in street clothes and Snuka was also wearing his traditional Fijian headband, came out and made their way to the ring and climbed in.

SV: "What do you two want?!"

DM: "Me and Jimmy were standing in the back watching the match on a monitor. We couldn't help noticing those belts you're holding look tarnished."

DS: "What do you mean by tarnished?!"

DM: "They look tarnished. The belts aren't shining brightly like they should be. The good news is that next week those belts will no longer be tarnished when we win 'em back."

DS: "So you're saying they're tarnished because we're the tag champs?!"

JS: "That's what the man said. Do you have a hearing problem or something?"

DS: "Watch your mouth, 'Superfly'! Or it could be you who has a hearing problem!"

DM: "Don't make threats, white boy, that you can't back up."

SV: "Oh! We can back it up and you guys know it! We beat you for these belts, remember?!"

JS: "We know that. But now, we're gonna beat you and bring the belts back to the rightful owners...us."

DS: "You beat us and you can have 'em!"

DM: "That's exactly what we intend to do. And then we're gonna shine those belts up so shiny that the people will have to wear sunglasses when we come out with the belts around our waists because of how bright they are.

"Look at those belts, Jimmy. Just look at them. Don't you guys have any pride? I guess not. You're called white trash for a reason. You people don't take care of anything. Those dirty titles are living proof of it.

"Here, look at the dirt smudge on this belt."

Muraco walked up to Sid and pointed at the belt.

DM: "Dirty belts! Shame! Shame! Titles are to be treated with respect!"

Sid grabbed Muraco by the front of the shirt.

SV (through gritted teeth): "You want these belts?! Then you do what Dan said and beat us for them!"

Sid let go of Muraco.

DM: "That's exactly what we intend to do next week, big boy. See you whiteys in Rochester, Minnesota."

Muraco smirked and Snuka looked on at the champs and nodded his head approvingly at what Muraco just said.

DS: "We'll be there! And we're gonna tear you guys a new one!"

JS: "The only thing that's getting torn next week are those belts being ripped from your grasp as your reign comes to an unhappy end."

Muraco and Snuka and the Skyscrapers glared briefly at one another.

DM: "If you wunderkinds need me to MapQuest directions for you to the Mayo Civic Center just let me know. I'll be glad to do it. We don't want you getting lost in a cow pasture in Podunk, Minnesota. We can't regain the titles if you guys are busy tipping over Bessie."

SV: "You don't have to worry about us, Don! You and Snuka just show up and be ready for a fight!"

DM: "Remember...it's the Rochester in Minnesota. Minnesooooooooota. Got it? Good. See you there."

Muraco and Snuka turned and left the ring for the floor and headed back up the aisle to mainly boos as the champs looked on from the ring.

CJ: "It's going down next Tuesday night on the big 2-year anniversary edition of 'Mayhem'. The Skyscrapers defend the tag team championships against Don Muraco and Jimmy Snuka.

"Tony and Mark, back to you.")

(Announcers talked about the tag team title re-match being made for next week's big 2-yr. anniversary show. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "This is Scott Hudson coming to you from the WCW Interview Center. My guests at this time are Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey and Killer Khan."

Kaissey walked into the interview area in his suit an keffiyeh. Khan was in his ring attire.

SH: "Sheik, tonight your man Killer Khan battles Sgt. Slaughter in what promises to be a wild main event."

AK: "Sgt. Slaughter has already felt the power of Khan's boot! Tonight he will feel it again!"

SH: "Does Khan talk at all?"

AK: "He speaks no English, infidel! Khan only speaks the language of pain!"

SH: "Three weeks ago, Khan pinned Slaughter after kicking him with that right boot. The Skyscrapers, Nord and Sarge all continue to assert that the boot is loaded with a weapon. This is a question that's not going away."

AK: "Let the controversy continue! It does not matter to the Army! Khan's great kicking power comes from his leg and foot and nothing else! He is a main of great strength! He has the most powerful lower body in the sport! But he's also very wise! He knows when to use that power as Slaughter found out three weeks ago!"

SH: "You seem to think the Army is back on track after Khan and One Man Gang defeated Nord and Slaughter in that tag team match. What are you expecting tonight?"

AK: "Right now the momentum is on our side in this war! We must remain on the offensive and keep pushing back at their side! We must remain relentless! We have a take-no-prisoners mentality! This war, like all wars, is about winning the whole thing! There will be setbacks on both sides! There will be bloodshed! The side that can withstand the other's assault will be the victors! And the victors will be the Sheik's Army!"

Kaissey and Khan walked out of the interview area.

SH: "That was Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey along with his man Killer Khan. It's Sgt. Slaughter vs. Killer Khan and it's coming up in our main event later tonight.")

(Announcers hyped the main event. Said Ric Flair makes an appearance next!)

(Announcers intro'd video from last week's Flair-Anderson confrontation.

VIDEO:

The next time I lock you in the figure 4, I'm gonna break your damn leg!"
)

(In-ring:

'Also Sprach Zarathustra' played and out came Ric Flair to a strong ovation. Flair was in street clothes and had a mic. Flair made his way to the ring and climbed in and walked around for a moment before speaking.

RF: "I can't wait until next Tuesday! Whoo!"

Crowd cheered.

RF: "Mr. Anderson and the 'Nature Boy' are finally gonna lock horns one-on-one next week in a match on the biggest 'Mayhem' of the year!

"And I'm finishing what I started last week! I'm gonna lock Mr. Anderson in the figure 4 and this time...SNAP...I'm gonna break that punk's leg!"

More cheers.

RF: "This man has messed with me repeatedly and I've had enough! I don't just wanna beat him! I wanna hurt him! I want him carried out of the ring on a stretcher! I don't care what my punishment from the WCW suits will be! Fine me! Suspend me! Fire me! I don't care! I intend to put Mr. Anderson out of commission for a long time! Whoo!"

More crowd cheers.

RF: "Most of the time, wrestlers just go out and try to win their match! Not next Tuesday! Mr. Anderson is the type of guy who deserves to be hurt in the worst possible way! I make no apologies, none, for wanting to break the guy in half! He's gonna learn that you don't screw around with people the way he does without severe consequences! This is about more than..."

Crowd booed as Mr. Anderson, in street clothes and carrying a mic, came out and limped down to the ring and climbed in.

RF: "Pal, you need to get the hell out here! Go on! Hit the bricks!"

MA: "Don't you lay a hand on me, Flair! I'm limping because you tried to maim me!"

RF: "Good! You won't have to worry about limping next Tuesday because I intend to put you in a cast, brother!"

MA: "You're psychotic, Ric! Just because I decided to mess with you a little bit..."

RF: "Mess with me?! You came out after my match at 'Spring Breakout' when I was in no position to fight back and thought it was cool to grab me and hit me with your Mic Check! You then cost me the Tru TV Championship! That goes way beyond just messing with someone! You've got the match you wanted now! And I'll say it again! I...am...breaking...your...leg, dammit!"

Crowd cheered.

MA: "Listen to these animals out here! These are your fans, Ric! What kind of a world do we live in when someone cheers on a man threatening to cripple someone?!"

RF: "Anderson! They would cheer for anybody who speaks the truth about what a scumbag you are and who would man up and declare he was going to injure you!"

MA: "You better not lay a hand on me right now!"

RF: "I'll give you the first shot, buddy! Come on! Right here!"

Ric pointed at his chin.

MA: "I'm not gonna fight you tonight! I'm gonna wait until next Tuesday to light your ass up!"

RF: "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. For you a fair fight is kicking a man when he's down! You suck!"

MA: "No, Beth sucks."

RF: "What?!"

MA: "Beth, your ex, she sucks. And she does it really well from what I heard."

Flair lost it, dropped his mic and nailed Anderson with a right to the jaw. Anderson dropped the mic and stumbled back and fell against the ropes and grabbed the top rope to maintain his balance. Flair picked up his mic. Flair was now red in the face and filled with rage.

RF: "Say that again! Say it again, pal! You have just..."

Anderson recovered and picked up his mic off the ground.

MA: "I want the police out here right now! I have been assaulted!"

RF: "Calling the cops?! What kind of man are you?! Fight your own battles!"

MA: "I demand immediate action from the police!"

Two of Ogden's finest came out and walked down the aisle to the ring and stepped in. Flair looked on in disbelief.

MA: "Officers! I want Ric Flair arrested right now for assaulting me!"

The two cops looked at Anderson for a moment.

MA: "I'm not kidding! Do your duty!"

Anderson pointed at Flair. The cops went over and talked with Flair briefly off-mic. Flair was beside himself. One of the cops pointed for Flair to head to the floor. Flair dropped his mic and the cops escorted Flair to the floor. One cop ordered Flair to turn around and put his hands on the apron and the other quickly frisked Flair. The other cop read Flair his Miranda Rights while the other ordered Flair to put his hands behind his back and handcuffed him as the crowd was hot. The cops each grabbed an arm of Flair's and led him back up the aisle while Anderson stood in the ring.

MA: "Bye, bye, Ric! You mess with Mr. Anderson and you get the horns, buddy!"

Officers and Flair disappeared to the back as the crowd reigned their wrath down on Anderson as Anderson stood in the ring chuckling and with a sly smirk on his face.)

(Announcers discussed Anderson getting Flair arrested a week before their big match. Said Abdullah the Butcher sees action next!)

Match 2
Abdullah the Butcher w/ Mgr. Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey & Handler Kimchee vs. S.D. Jones

(Jones was in the ring and announced.

'Cry of the Vatos' played and loud boos filled the arena as Abdullah, Kaissey and Kimchee came out and made their way to the ring. Abdullah was in black pants with black pointed-toe boots. Kaissey was in a black suit with black tie, black shirt, black dress shoes and keffiyeh. Kimchee was in his safari gear, pith helmet and white mask with brown trim and carrying a riding crop. The three climbed in the ring.

Kaissey and Kimchee had final words for Abby before heading to the floor.

Ref called for the bell.

Abby charged over and jumped on Jones and started pounding the hell out of Jones. Abby whipped Jones into the buckles and followed Jones in and nailed Jones with a big splash. Jones staggered out of the corner and crashed to his back on the mat. Abby nailed Jones with a double foot stomp to the gut. Jones now holding his gut. Abby left the ring for the floor. Abby reached under the apron and pulled out a 2x4. Abby climbed back into the ring. Ref ordered Abby to drop the 2x4 but Abby didn't listen. Jones got to his feet bent over and Abby moved in and slammed the 2x4 over Jones' back. The board broke in half and Jones crashed back to the mat. Ref called for the bell.

Abby reached into his pants and brandished a foreign object. Abby raised his hand in the air as Jones unsteadily made it to his feet. Ref ordered Abby to drop the object and Abby ignored him. Jones up and Abby moved in and popped Jones in the head with the object. Jones crumpled back to the mat. Ref again called for the bell.

Crowd popped as Nord The Barbarian, in street clothes, charged down the aisle and climbed into the ring. Nord picked up a piece of the jagged, broken board as Abby raised his foreign object up to hit Nord with it. As the two stared each other down, Kimchee snuck in the ring behind Nord and nailed Nord with a low-blow. Nord dropped the board and crashed to the mat holding his goods. Kimchee bolted for the floor. Abby dropped the object back in his tights and went over and picked up the other piece of broken board. Nord got to his knees and Abby cracked Nord over the head with the board. Nord toppled back over holding his head.

Abby prepared to hit the downed Nord with the board again when the Skyscrapers, still in their ring attire, charged down the aisle and hit the ring. Abby dropped the board and scurried to the safety of the floor. Spivey and Sid stood ready to fight as Abby, Kaissey and Kimchee looked on from the floor. Nord sat up holding his head and Spivey checked on him as Sid glared at Abby. Nord made it to his feet with Spivey's help. Sid came over and checked on Nord and Nord said something to Sid and pointed. Sid walked over by the ropes and gestured for the ring mic from Craig Johnson and got it. Abby, Sheik and Kimchee had headed back up the aisle to boos. Nord standing on his own holding the mic in one hand and his head with the other.

Nord: "Abdullah! Hey, Abdullah!"

Sheik, Kimchee and Abby stopped on the stage and turned back to the ring.

Nord: "When we have our match next week...I'm gonna drag you to Hell!"

Crowd cheered.

Nord dropped the mic and grabbed his head with both hands as both Sid and Spivey steadied him as Abby, Sheik and Kimchee looked on from the stage.

WINNER: S.D. Jones - DQ - Abby hit S.D. with a board - :51)

(Announcers discussed Abby attacking S.D. Jones and Nord with a board. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "We are back in the WCW Interview Center.

"With me right now is Sgt. Slaughter."

Slaughter walked into the interview area in his ring attire.

SH: "Sarge, you're battling Killer Khan of the Army in our main event tonight."

SS: "That's right, Scott Hudson!

"A few weeks ago I felt the power of Khan's right boot! He delivered a devastating blow to me that night! I've never felt a kick like that in my life and I've been kicked by some of the best in wrestling! Khan is either super human or he's got something in that boot! Why does he have to tap the boot into the ground before he kicks you with it and it's lights out for his opponent?! He's kicked me and other wrestlers with that boot during the course of a match and it doesn't have the same effect that it does when he taps the boot into the mat! I know, with every fiber of my being that there's something in that boot! Something illegal! It's potentially a deadly weapon! Killer Khan truly deserves to be called 'Killer'! That boot is extremely dangerous!

"But the Skyscrapers, Nord and myself are at war with the Army! Dirty tricks have been used in battle since the first war was ever waged in the history of the world! The Sheik's Army has a secret weapon in that boot Khan wears! We have to be on our guard at all times and try to defend ourselves against that weaponized boot! That boot could turn the tide in this war! It could be the difference in victory or defeat for us as a team and for WCW as a whole!

"This is a huge battle between me and Khan tonight! He's lethal! We must work to reduce his effectiveness in this war! Khan needs to be neutralized when it comes to the boot! That is my goal in this match! I need to keep Khan from being able to activate whatever it is he has in there! That is the key to victory in this battle! It's the battle of the boot! Neutralize the boot...win the match for our side!"

Camera panned in on Hudson.

SH: "Sgt. Slaughter and Killer Khan of the Sheik's Army tangle in our main event and it's coming up next!")

(Announcers hyped the main event after the break. Also hyped the final confrontation between Dynamite Kid (WC) and Davey Boy Smith in their World Title re-match in a steel cage next week.)

Match 3
Sgt. Slaughter vs. Killer Khan w/ Mgr. Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey & Handler Kimchee

(Marine Corps Hymn filled the arena and out came Slaughter to a strong ovation. Slaughter was in his black, leg-length singlet with 'USA' in red, white and blue lettering on the outside of each leg and red, white and blue stars above the 'U' and below the 'A', black and green ring boots with his stripe rank on the outside of each boot and his DI hat. Slaughter was holding little American flags and handed them to fans as he made his way to the ring. Sarge climbed into the ring and saluted the fans.

'Cry of the Vatos' played and out came Khan, Kaissey and Kimchee to loud boos. Khan was in black combat-style pants and black combat boots. Khan's head was completely shaven except for a ponytail in the back. He also had a Fu Manchu mustache. Kaissey was in a suit and keffiyeh. Kimchee was in his safari gear, pith helmet, white mask with brown trim and carrying his riding crop.

Khan climbed into the ring and Sarge charged over and jumped on Khan and he and Khan started exchanging punches.

Ref called for the bell.

The punch exchange continued and Sarge got the upper hand and slammed Khan's head into the top buckle. Khan spun around in the corner and Sarge laid into Khan with a series of open hand chest chops. Khan staggered out of the corner holding his chest. Sarge popped Khan with a few more head shots and whipped Khan into the ropes and Khan caught the top rope and Sarge charged over and blasted Khan with a big running clothesline that sent Khan hurtling over the top rope and crashing to the floor as the fans cheered. (Announcers intro'd video from Davey Boy Smith's steel cage exhibition last week with wrestler George South.

VIDEO:

Cage surrounded the ring and ring announcer Craig Johnson and a wrestler in his tights and boots were in the ring.

CJ: "It is now time for the steel cage exhibition."

DBS: "I do. What I am about to show everyone is how the cage can be used in a match as a weapon of mass destruction to weaken your opponent and ultimately defeat him."

Smith again rubbed South's head violently across the mesh. Smith let go and South again crashed down to the mat on his front side.

Thank you!"

The security members were trying, and failing, to pull the two apart. After struggling for a bit, security finally separated the two and pulled them to their feet. Smith was pushed into one corner and Kid into another. A few more security team members hit the ring and looked to keep the two men at bay. Smith then started to walk up the ring steps to re-enter the cage but security physically stopped him and pulled him back down to the floor. An angry Kid glared down at Smith as Kid was still standing on the top rope and being held by the legs by security and Smith glared back at Kid as the program faded to black.
)

(Final Confrontation:

'Some Heads Are Gonna Roll' played and out came Davey Boy Smith to strong boos and some cheers. Smith was in street clothes and had a mic. Smith made his way to the ring and climbed in and was walking around.

'London Calling' played and out came World Champion Dynamite Kid to a strong ovation. Kid had a bandage on his head and was in street clothes and wearing a black leather jacket. Kid had the belt slung over his shoulder. Kid slapped hands with some fans on the way to the ring. Kid climbed in and pulled a mic out of his back pocket.

DK: "You see this bandage on me head, Davey. I had to get six stitches from you ripping me head open on that cage last week."

DBS: "You're gonna need a lot more stitches than that after I get through with you in our cage match next week."

DK: "You took liberties with that guy last week in your steel cage exhibition. It was sadistic."

DBS: "Cage matches are sadistic by their very nature. You should know that, Dynamite. We've been in enough of 'em over the years. And next weeks will be very sadistic. We're gonna set a new standard for brutality inside the cage."

DK: "I have no doubt that it's gonna be violent. There's a lot of rage building between us. You can sense it. Neither of us will come out of the match unscathed."

DBS: "But only one of us can come out of the match as the World Champion. And that man will be me."

DK: "It never had to come to this between us, Davey. I would have gladly given you a match for the belt anytime, anywhere."

DBS: "Oh please! You weren't going to just hand me a championship match! I had to force the issue! That's why we're headed into that steel cage next Tuesday! I am the man who made this happen! And I intend to reap the full rewards of all my hard work!"

DK: "All that hard work and you still may not be the World Champion when you wake up next Wednesday morning! It may all end in epic failure for you!"

DBS: "I can't wait to see you lying in a pool of your own blood, Dynamite. All these years of being in your shadow are about to end. I pinned you in the tag team match at 'Winter Warfare'. I pinned you in our World Title match a month ago at 'Spring Breakout' and yet they reversed the decision and took the title away from me."

DK: "You pinned me at 'Spring Breakout' because you hit me with a foreign object."

DBS: "Cry me a river, man! I still pinned you! And as they say...the third time's a charm! No one in the WCW front office nor you is stopping me this time! I'm gonna beat you in that cage and the people will have no choice but to recognize me as the new WCW World Champion!

"That brawl we had with each other last week really raised the bar! Security could barely contain us! Now, there will be no security in the cage next week! It's just you and me! No matter how ugly the match gets, no one can pull us apart and keep things from escalating!"

DK: "That's right, Davey! We can tear into each other like wild animals and no one can stop it until there's a winner! The last man standing in this match will be as beaten and battered as the loser! The question is: who will walk out with the World Title?! That's what everyone wants to know!"

DBS: "The question will be answered loudly and clearly! And I will finally get my time to shine in the spotlight that you denied me for so many years when we were the British Bulldogs!"

DK: "Look, I never pushed you into the background. We were a team. A team! You've got this all in your head!"

DBS: "And I will only be able to clear my conscience when I've destroyed you and taken the World Championship from you! You, Dynamite, are my stepping stone to the glory that has evaded me all these years! You held me down! And now I will rise up like a Phoenix from the ashes and take what's mine by force!"

DK: "If you beat me cleanly next week, Davey, then I have to live with the result! But, because you have made this so personal when it didn't need to be, I'm fighting to not only retain this belt, but also to soundly thrash you because that seems like the only thing you'll understand!"

Smith angrily started pacing back-and-forth in the ring. Smith then went to punch Kid in the head but Kid blocked it and dropped the title to the mat. Kid raised his fist like he was gonna hit Smith.

DBS (eerily calm):"Come on, Dynamite, hit me."

Kid just looked at Smith for a moment.

DBS: "Do it! What's holding you back, champ?!"

Kid looked at Smith a little longer and then calmly picked the title up off the ground and slung it back over his shoulder.

DK: "See you in the cage next Tuesday."

Kid and Smith glared at one another briefly and Kid dropped his mic and turned and left the ring, stepped out on the apron and shot a quick glance back at Smith and then headed for the floor and headed back up the aisle as Smith looked on from the ring.

DBS: "There he goes! That's your World Champion! Where's your pride, Dynamite?! Get back here and fight, dammit!"

Kid never turned around and disappeared to the back.

DBS: "Next Tuesday, you will have a World Champion that is a PROUD fighting man from Liverpool!"

Smith stood in the ring while the crowd buzzed as the program faded to black.)

VIDEO:

Abby dropped the board and scurried the safety of the floor.

Nord: "When we have our match next week...I'm gonna drag you to Hell!"
)

Match 1 (No DQ)
Nord The Barbarian vs. Abdullah The Butcher w/ Mgr. Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey & Handler Kimchee

('Steel Monkey' filled the arena and Nord came out to a strong ovation. Nord was in his black tights with white life rune on the back, fur-lined boots and had his trademark chain, Valhalla, draped around his neck. Nord made his way to the ring and climbed in. Nord waved his chain in the air and stomped around and then draped his chain over the top bolt that connects the ring post to the top turnbuckle.

Abdullah climbed into the ring and Nord charged over and jumped on Abby and started pounding away on Abby.

Ref called for the bell.

Nord continued pounding Abby and then went to whip Abby into the corner but Abby reversed and sent Nord into the buckles. Abby followed Nord in and nailed Nord with a running big splash. Nord staggered out of the corner by the ropes and went down and rolled out on the apron. Abby used his foot to push Nord off the apron down to the floor. Abby left the ring for the floor. Abby reached down and pulled Nord up and went to slam Nord's head into the ring post but Nord got his foot up on the post and blocked the move. Abby tried again with the same result. Nord then elbowed Abby in the ribs three times and slammed Abby's head into the post. Abby stumbled forward and went down on the floor. Kimchee snuck up behind Nord and hit Nord with his riding crop. Nord turned around and Kimchee started backing off. Nord started slowly stalking Kimchee. A now bleeding Abby had recovered on the floor and came up behind Nord and nailed Nord with a forearm smash across the back. Nord spun around and Abby dropped Nord with a headbutt. Abby reached under the ring apron and pulled out a folded up steel chair as Nord slowly made it to his feet. Abby went to hit Nord over the head with the chair but Nord grabbed it and a brief struggle ensued over the chair. Nord kicked Abby twice in the gut and gained control of the chair. Nord slammed the chair down on Abby's head. Abby staggered off. Nord came up behind Abby and nailed Abby with a chair shot across the back. Abby staggered off again and Nord once again came up behind Abby and nailed Abby with another chair shot across the back. Nord tossed the chair, grabbed Abby and threw Abby back into the ring. Nord climbed into the ring and reached down and started to pull Abby up when Abby stunned Nord with an open hand throat-thrust. Nord grabbed his throat and staggered off. Abby to his feet and Nord turned and Abby nailed Nord with two headbutts and Nord crashed to that mat after the second one. Abby, right in front of the ref, reached into his pants and pulled out his trusty foreign object. Nord up and turned around and Abby popped Nord in the head with the object. Nord crashed back to the mat. Nord got to his knees and Abby came up behind Nord, grabbed Nord under the chin and and drove the foreign object into Nord's forehead and scraped the object across it. Nord went down face-first on the mat. Abby turned his attention to the ref. Ref started backing off and backed into the corner and Abby drove the object three times into the ref's forehead. Abby crashed to the mat and rolled over near the ropes. Nord picked up Abby and nailed Abby with a gourdbuster. Nord for the cover with his head by the ropes. Kaissey reached into his outside right coat pocket and pulled something out. Kaissey went over and smashed Nord in the head with a roll of coins. The coins went flying everywhere. Nord weakly rolled off of Abby and the two men were laying there. Ref still down in the corner. Abby made it to his feet and dropped a series of elbow smashes across Nord's chest. Abby then pulled Nord up and popped Nord with another headbutt and Nord crashed helplessly to the mat. Abby dropped another elbow smash to the chest of Nord and then nailed Nord with his jumping double foot stomp to the gut. Nord grabbed his gut and rolled over on his side. Abby rolled Nord over and covered Nord. Kimchee climbed into the ring and dragged the ref over to where Abby was pinning Nord. Ref also bleeding. Ref laying face-down on the mat. Kimchee gave the ref a vigorous shake and then bolted the ring for the floor. Ref slowly came to his senses and counted. 1.....2.....thr! Nord kicked out. Crowd popped.

Ref still barely moving and Abby got up and dropped an elbow smash across the ref's back. Nord slowly got to his hands and knees and Abby booted Nord in the head. Abby then went over and grabbed Nord's chain out of the corner and wrapped part of the chain around his fist. Nord made it to his feet. Abby turned and went to punch Nord with his chain-laden fist but Nord blocked the punch try and fired away on Abby with a series of head shots. Abby dropped the chain. Ref over by the ropes still recovering. Nord grabbed Abby by the throat and chokeslammed the big man to the delight of the crowd. Nord picked up his chain and wrapped part of it around his arm as Abby slowly made it to his feet. Abby up and Nord pulverized Abby with a chain-laden running clothesline. Abby crashed back to the mat. Nord dropped the chain. Kimchee snuck in the ring behind Nord and hit Nord with a double sledge to the back. Nord no sold it and turned around and Kimchee started backing up and Nord grabbed Kimchee by the shirt and popped Kimchee with a head shot that sent Kimchee's pith helmet flying. Kimchee spun around facing away from Nord and Nord paid Kimchee back for last week by low-blowing Kimchee. Kimchee fell through the top and middle rope out onto the apron and crashed to the floor as the crowd roared. Nord turned as Abby made it to his feet. Nord laid into Abby with a series of head shots, whipped Abby into the ropes and caught Abby coming off with a boot to the face. Abby crashed to the mat. Nord ran and hit the ropes and came off with his flying leg drop finisher that connected. Nord covered Abby. Ref had recovered enough to make the count. 1...2...3! Ref called for the bell as the fans roared.

Nord rolled off of Abby and made it to his feet and the still groggy ref raised Nord's hand in victory as the cheering continued. Nord went over and picked up his chain off the mat, slung it over his shoulder, looked down at the defeated Abby and then left the ring for the floor. Nord looked over at Kaissey and Kaissey started backing up. Nord pulled the chain off his shoulder and pointed at Kaissey and the crowd cheered. Nord took a couple of steps in Kaissey's direction and Kaissey bolted and climbed over the ringside barricade and took off through the crowd, leaving a laid out Abby in the ring and a hurting Kimchee laying on the floor. Nord hoisted his chain victoriously in the air to more crowd approval and then headed up the aisle to the back.

(Announcers pointed out that Anderson had Flair arrested for assaulting him last week. Said Flair posted bond that night and Anderson has also dropped the charges.

Announcers wondered if Flair planned to carry through with his threat to break Mr. Anderson's leg.

'I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide' filled he arena and out came Mr. Anderson to loud boos. Anderson was now wearing black tights with 'Anderson' written across the back in white lettering with red trim and black boots. Anderson made his way to the ring and climbed in.

Kid bounced off and crashed face-first to the mat and then rolled over on his back holding his head. Smith dropped an elbow smash across Kid's chest and then snapped up Kid in a rear chinlock. Smith tightened his grip on the hold but Kid would not submit. Smith let go of the hold and dropped an elbow to the top of Kid's head. Kid sitting up holding his head. Smith ran and hit the ropes and came off and nailed Kid with a low-flying dropkick to the chest. Smith quickly covered Kid. 1...2... Kid kicked out. Smith snapped Kid up and went to whip Kid into the ropes but Kid reversed and caught Smith coming off with a dropkick. Smith crashed to the mat. Smith up and Kid moved in and blasted Kid with more European uppercuts and threw Smith head-first into the cage. Smith slammed into the cage and spun around and Kid caught Smith with kick to the gut followed by a gutwrench suplex. Kid stomped Smith in the head, snapped Smith up, whipped Smith into the ropes and caught Smith coming off with a flying lariat. Smith crashed to the mat. Kid went out on the apron and mounted the top buckle as Smith slowly made it to his feet and turned and Kid came off with a missle dropkick but Smith fell out of the way and and Kid crashed to the mat. Both men down. Ref counting. Both men slowly made it to their feet and Smith charged in and blasted Kid with a running clothesline. Kid back down. Kid got to his hands and knees and Smith booted Kid in his previously hurt ribs. Kid toppled over grabbing his ribs. Smith snapped Kid up, hoisted Kid up and dropped Kid throat-first across the top rope. Kid staggered back grabbing his throat and crashed to his back in the ring. Smith rolled Kid up for the pin. 1... Smith grabbed a handful of tights. ...2...thr... Kid kicked Smith off.

Both men up and Smith charged at Kid with another running clothesline but Kid ducked the move and caught Smith around the waist from behind and nailed Smith with three German suplexes in a row, the last into a bridgeout for the pin. 1...2... Smith kicked out. Kid snapped up Smith and whipped Smith into the ropes and caught Smith coming off with a flying headbutt. Smith crashed back down. Kid then grabbed Smith's legs and locked Smith in the Indian Deathlock. Smith in dire pain. Ref asked Smith if he wanted to submit and Smith shook his head 'no'. Kid had a firm grip on the hold as Smith started scooting towards the ropes but they were still out of reach. Smith in agony. Smith was finally able to scoot close enough to the ropes to drape his arm out over the middle rope to force a break. Smith slowly pulled himself to his feet with the aid of the ropes. Kid started to move in on Smith when Smith suddenly crumpled to the mat and grabbed his left knee and yelled out in agony. Ref ordered Kid to stand back and checked on Smith. Smith once again slowly made it to his feet with the aid of the ropes and then stunned Kid by charging over and tackling Kid to the mat. Both men down. Smith popped up and was limping around as Kid made it to his feet. Kid up and Smith stunned Kid with a kick to the gut and then managed to hoist Kid up and blast Kid with a piledriver. Smith covered Kid and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... Kid got a shoulder up. Crowd cheered. Smith snapped up Kid and rubbed Kid's head violently into the steel mesh. Smith let go of Kid and Kid spun and crashed down face-first on the mat. Smith was walking around and shaking out the effects of the Indian Deathlock. Smith went over and pulled Kid to his feet. Kid now bleeding. Smith threw Kid head-first into the opposite side of the cage and Kid caromed off and went down again. Smith reached down and pulled Kid up and blasted Kid with a violent headbutt. Kid crashed back down to the mat. Smith walked around a little more shaking out the effects of the earlier submission hold by Kid. Kid had gotten to his knees and Smith stood over Kid and popped him in the cut with a series of punches.

Madden: "Looks like Smith is angling for a blood stoppage."

Ref ordered Smith to stand back and the ref checked on Kid. Kid had scooted over next to the ropes and was holding his bloody head. Kid signaled he could continue and made his way to his feet. Ref gestured for the match to continue. Smith charged over and jumped on Kid and started pounding away on the champ and then caught Kid in a side headlock and Smith popped Kid in the cut area with three deliberate punches. Smith let go of Kid and Kid fell against the ropes. Smith whipped Kid into the ropes and caught Kid coming off with a big clothesline. Kid crashed helplessly to the mat. Smith for the cover. 1...2...thr... Kid got a shoulder up. Smith caught Kid with two more punches to the cut on his forehead. Smith snapped Kid up and went to hoist Kid up for a suplex but Kid twice blocked the move and nailed Smith with a snap suplex. Both men down. Ref counting. Both men slowly made it to their feet and Kid stunned Smith with an enzuigiri. Smith crashed back to the mat. Kid snapped Smith up and Smith grabbed Kid and drove Kid back-first into the corner. Smith went to whip Kid into the opposite buckles but Kid reversed and sent Smith crashing into them. Kid followed Smith in and blasted Smith with a running knee to the chest. Smith staggered out of the corner holding his chest. Kid grabbed Smith by the back of the head and ran Smith's head into the cage and then violently rubbed Smith's forehead across the steel mesh. Kid let go of Smith and spun around and went down face-first on the mat. Kid briefly regained his senses. Kid snapped Smith up and Smith was now bleeding. Kid whipped Smith into the corner. Kid followed Smith in and, borrowing from Flair's playbook, mounted the middle buckle over Smith and started firing away with punches to the cut on Smith's forehead. Kid dropped back to the mat and Smith staggered out of the corner holding the ropes, dropped to a knee and then back down on his face to the mat. Kid went down to a knee and brushed his bloody forehead with the back of his hand. Both men slowly got to their feet and Kid moved in on Smith and Smith stunned Kid with a series of deliberate, stiff kicks to the ribs he'd worked on with kicks earlier in the match. Kid stumbled back grabbing his ribs. Smith moved in and and popped Kid with some more head shots to Kid's cut. Kid was dazed. Smith kicked Kid in the gut and doubled Kid over. Smith then hoisted Kid up and nailed Kid with a running powerbomb. Smith covered Kid and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... Kid kicked out. Crowd popped. Kid down and Smith on his knees. Smith snapped Kid up and went to bodyslam Kid but Kid caught Smith in a small package for the pin. 1...2...thr... Smith kicked out. Crowd buzzing. Both men to their feet and they engaged in a deliberate punch exchange with both men appearing to weaken with each blow. Smith gained the advantage and stunned Kid and Smith caught Kid with a crucifix and took Kid over for the pin. 1...2...thr... Kid kicked out. Crowd cheered. The two made it to their feet and Smith went to punch Kid in the head but Kid blocked the punch try and laid into Smith with a series of European uppercuts that dazed Smith. Kid then snap suplexed Smith, ran and jumped on the middle rope and came off with a lionsault but Smith got his knees up and Kid crashed into them. Both men down. Kid holding his gut. Ref counting. As the count got high, Smith was able to crawl over and cover Kid. 1...2...thr... Kid got a shoulder up. Crowd on its feet. Smith snapped Kid up, whipped Kid into the ropes and looked to catch Kid coming off with a clothesline but Kid ducked the move and came back and plowed through Smith with a spear. Crowd exploded. Both men down again. Kid rolled over on his back. Ref counting. Kid crawled over and covered Smith. 1...2...thr... Smith kicked out. Crowd gasped.

Kid and Smith slowly made it to their feet and Kid charged in and blasted Smith with a second spear. Both men down again and Kid rolled over and both men were looking up at the lights again. Ref counting. Kid again crawled over and draped his arm across Smith's chest. 1...2...thr... Smith got a shoulder up. Crowd stunned. Kid and Smith slowly made it to their feet. Smith got up facing away from Kid. Kid assumed the position. Smith slowly turned around and Kid charged in and obliterated Smith with a third straight spear. This time, Kid found the strength to cover Smith right away and hook the leg. 1...2...3! Ref called for the bell as the crowd roared.

Kid still laying on top of Smith. Ref went over to the now open cage door and took the belt from Craig Johnson and had a few words with him. Kid slowly stirred and rolled off of Smith and sat up wearing the crimson mask. While still sitting, the ref raised Kid's hand in victory and handed Kid the title as the cheering continued.

CJ: "Wrestling Fans! In a time of 17, minutes, 49 seconds, your winner...and STILL World Class Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion...the Dynamite Kid!"

Ref offered to help Kid to his feet and Kid waved the ref off and slowly made it to this feet. Kid raised the belt in the air with his right hand as the program faded to black.

WINNER: Kid - Pinfall - Spear - 17:49)

WCW MAYHEM - EP. 106 - ROCHESTER, MN - MAYO CIVIC CENTER - 4-25-17 (Taped)

(Show Intro)

(Crowd Shots/Pyro)

(Announcers Tony Schiavone and Mark Madden welcomed viewers and ran down the program: Tru TV Championship: 'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. Paul Orndorff; Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey has a major announcement; The New Spoiler vs. Tommy Rich; Dick Slater sees action; and more! Then sent it to the ring.)

(In-ring: Craig Johnson.

CJ: "Welcome to 'Mayhem'. I'm Craig Johnson.

"With me right now is Jim Herd of the WCW Executive Committee. Jim, we hear you have some major news for us."

Herd was in a suit.

JH: "Yes, Craig. Last week, after Ric Flair had defeated Mr. Anderson on the show, Ric tried to carry through on his threat to break Mr. Anderson's leg with his figure 4 leglock. Flair also tried to break Anderson's leg with the hold three weeks ago. If it wasn't for outside help coming in to separate Flair from Anderson, there is no doubt that Flair would have succeeded in his goal of crippling Mr. Anderson.

"Because of that, I am out here to announce that Ric Flair has been fined $100,000 dollars and suspended indefinitely."

Crowd booed loudly.

JH: "I understand why you people are booing. Ric Flair is a legend and one of the big crowd favorites in WCW. But, this man has said for weeks that he would break Anderson's leg and tried to do so on two occasions. We were left with no choice on this matter."

More loud boos.

CJ: "These fans are doing more than just booing, Jim; they're angry."

JH: "Pro wrestling is a unique business. Unexpected things happen all the time. Wrestlers do get hurt. But, as I just outlined a minute ago, this situation was different. Flair made his intentions known over a period of time and attempted to carry through on his threat. We on the executive committee stand by our decision even though we knew it would be very unpopular."

CJ: "Is he just suspended from wrestling or..."

JH: "He is off all WCW TV programming and arena shows around the country until the suspension is lifted."

CJ: "You said the suspension's indefinite. But, do you have a possible timeline in mind for his return?"

JH: "We do not. When we say indefinite we mean indefinite."

CJ: "That was WCW executive Jim Herd. You just heard the news. Ric Flair is sus..."

'Steel Monkey' filled the arena and the crowd popped as out came the Skyscrapers (Sid Vicious & Dan Spivey), Nord and Sgt. Slaughter to a loud ovation. All four men were in street clothes and Sarge was also wearing a baseball cap with USA written across the front of it in red, white and blue letters and sunglasses. The four made their way down to the ring and climbed in.

CJ: "This was unexpected. What is this about?"

JH: "I'm going now."

SV: "Herd! Stay right there! You're the man we want to talk to!"

JH: "Talk about what?"

SV: "Me and Danny stand out here tonight as the former World Tag Team Champions thanks to the right boot of Killer Khan!"

JH: "You guys will be getting a re-match in the near future."

SV: "We don't care about titles right now, Herd! We wanna know what you WCW execs are gonna do about that boot?! We've had enough of this! And we are demanding that WCW investigate Killer Khan's boot right now!"

JH: "Let me inform you gentlemen that we have discussed the legality of that boot that Killer Khan wears."

DS: "You've discussed it?! How about taking immediate action?! Sure didn't take you guys too long to suspend Ric Flair! But yet you keep letting Khan run wild and kick people with a boot that is so obviously loaded that even Stevie Wonder can see it!"

SS: "Jim, that boot would be classified as a deadly weapon on the streets! You get kicked by it, you can't breath at all! We're in a war with the Sheik's Army! WCW's future hangs in the balance! So, unless you're on Sheik Adnan's payroll, you guys on the executive committee need to get cracking and examine that lethal weapon...pronto!"

JH: "First of all, I'm not on the Sheik's payroll. And neither is anyone else on any of the committees here in WCW. I assure you of that. Later tonight, we know the Sheik will be out here because he has some sort of announcement he wants to make. You guys are making a valid case for examining that boot. And we will look into it tonight."

Crowd cheered.

SV: "Good! You suits need to step up to the plate and do your damn jobs! We're getting tired of this! Killer Khan needs to be forced into handing over that boot for inspection!"

JH: "You have my word, men. We will get to the bottom of this situation and we will do it quickly."

SS: "Every wrestler's future may hang in the balance because of this, Herd! If our side loses this war to the Army because of that boot, may God help WCW!"

CJ: "An interesting way to open 'Mayhem'. Ric Flair is suspended and fined and now WCW executives are going to begin an investigation into whether or not Killer Khan's right boot is indeed loaded with an illegal weapon.

"Tony and Mark."

(Announcers discussed the Flair suspension and the call for an investigation into Khan's right boot. Hyped still to come: Tru TV Championship: 'Million Dollar' Bill (TVC) vs. Paul Orndorff. Said The New Spoiler battles Tommy Rich next!)

Match 1
'Wildfire' Tommy Rich vs. The New Spoiler w/ Mgr. Jimmy Hart & Security 'Big' Bubba Rogers

(Instrumental song 'The Champ' played and out on the entrance stage walked the New Spoiler, manager Jimmy Hart and security Bubba Rogers to pretty strong boos. Spoiler was wearing the silver mask with black trim, a black singlet with the bottom half of the tights covered by red leg-length tights with a black stripe going down the outside of each leg, a fingerless black glove on his right hand and black boots with the silver Spoiler mask on the outside of each boot. Hart was in a red suit with black shirt and thin red tie, black and red shoes, sunglasses and carrying his trademark megaphone. Rogers was in a gray suit, white dress shirt unbuttoned at the top two buttons, black shoes and fedora. The trio made their way to the ring and climbed in.

'Wild Eyed Southern Boys' played and out came Rich to a decent ovation. Rich wore a red, white and blue ring jacket that had a map of the Southern states on the back. The map was bracketed by the words: 'Southern Connection'. Rich was in black tights with the U.S. and Confederate flag logos on the back and red boots. He slapped hands with fans on the way to the ring. Once in the ring, Rich briefly acknowledged the fans.

Hart had final words with New Spoiler and then he and Rogers left for the floor.

Ref called for the bell.

The two men came out of their corners and circled one another and engaged in a collar-and-elbow tie-up and New Spoiler got up inside on Rich and drove a series of knees into Rich's gut. Rich doubled over. New Spoiler then nailed Rich with a high knee to the chest and Rich crashed to the mat. Rich made it to his feet and turned and New Spoiler moved in and blasted Rich with a double knee facebuster. Rich crashed back to the mat, rolled over on his side and was holding his face. New Spoiler caught Rich with some stomps to the back. New Spoiler snapped Rich up, whipped Rich into the ropes and caught Rich coming off with a dropkick. Rich again crashed helplessly to the mat. Rich slowly made his way to this feet and New Spoiler moved in and caught Rich with a trio of head shots and then hit Rich with a discus punch that sent Rich again crashing to the mat. New Spoiler dropped down to his knees beside Rich and applied the rib cage claw to Rich. Rich in dire pain. New Spoiler released the hold and then re-applied it. Rich again writhing in pain. New Spoiler released the hold and applied it a third time. Rich in agony. New Spoiler released the hold, snapped Rich up, grabbed Rich's hand, mounted the top rope and walked along holding Rich in the arm twist rope walk. New Spoiler then came off with a punch to the head. Rich wobbly. New Spoiler then whipped Rich into the buckles and followed Rich in with a running clothesline followed by a series of knees to the gut. Rich stumbled out of the corner holding his gut. New Spoiler grabbed Rich and whipped Rich into the ropes and looked to catch Rich coming off with a clothesline but Rich ducked the move and came back with a Thesz Press. Rich on top of New Spoiler and nailed New Spoiler with a series of head shots. Rich got off of New Spoiler and New Spoiler slowly got to his feet and Rich moved in and blasted New Spoiler with a Russian legsweep. Crowd popped. Hart concerned at ringside. Rich snapped New Spoiler up and locked New Spoiler in position for his exploder suplex finisher. Rich hit the move and the crowd ate it up. Rich for the cover and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... New Spoiler kicked out. Crowd groaned. Hart breathed a sigh of relief at ringside. Rich reached down and started pulling New Spoiler up when New Spoiler stunned Rich with an uppercut to the jaw. Rich staggered off holding his jaw. New Spoiler to his feet. Rich turned and New Spoiler popped Rich with a head shot and then grabbed Rich by the wrist and nailed Rich with a short-arm clothesline. Rich crashed to the mat. New Spoiler circled around behind Rich and raised his gloved right hand as Rich slowly made it to his feet. Rich turned and New Spoiler locked Rich in his Iron Claw finisher. Rich briefly struggled in the hold before dropping to his knees. A few seconds later, Rich started slapping New Spoiler's left leg signaling a tap out. Ref called for the bell.

New Spoiler kept the hold locked on a little longer before Rich had weakened to the point he was laid out and semi-conscious. New Spoiler then released the hold on Rich. Ref raised New Spoiler's hand in victory as Hart climbed in the ring and was ecstatic and Rogers stood on the apron.

WINNER: New Spoiler - Submission - Iron Claw - 4:52)

(Post-Match Interview: Craig Johnson.

Johnson was standing at ringside as Hart, New Spoiler and Rogers joined him while WCW security team members came to the ring to help the defeated Rich.

CJ: "I must say that was an impressive victory scored by the New Spoiler."

JH: "Did you see that, baby?! Oh man! Tommy Rich hit the New Spoiler with his exploder suplex finisher! Most guys would have been finished by that move! But the New Spoiler is not most guys! And to come back and finish Rich off with his Iron Claw! Whoo! This is one special wrestler right here!"

Hart patted New Spoiler on the back and New Spoiler nodded in approval.

CJ: "Last month at 'Spring Breakout', the New Spoiler defeated Ric Flair with his Iron Claw finisher. In an interview a couple of nights later on 'Mayhem', you said the New Spoiler had another major star he was targeting here in WCW but didn't give a name. Can you tell us who it is?"

JH: "We'll announce that wrestler next week! New Spoiler is undefeated since he arrived in WCW! Tommy Rich was just another in a long list of victims! The man who will be challenged by the New Spoiler next week is a man who ranks right up there with Ric Flair! The victory over Flair was huge! A victory over the next man will mean one thing!"

CJ: "What's that?"

JH: "The WCW Championship Committee will be put in a position where they will have to give the New Spoiler a shot at the big gold belt! They won't be able to avoid us! And neither will the Dynamite Kid!"

CJ: "We'll find out who Jimmy Hart and the New Spoiler are looking to challenge next week. And Hart's right. Another victory over a major star in WCW will elevate him to the top of the title picture.

"Tony and Mark.")

(Announcers discussed New Spoiler defeating Rich and the post-match interview where they said they will reveal their next big challenge next week on the program. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "This is Scott Hudson coming to you from the WCW Interview Center.

"My guest at this time will be defending the Tru TV Championship against Paul Orndorff in our main event. He is 'Million Dollar' Bill."

Bill walked into the interview area in his ring attire. He had the belt around his waist and was carrying his briefcase.

SH: "Bill, you successfully defended..."

MDB: "Don't call me Bill. You call me 'Million Dollar' Bill."

SH: "Alright. Gotcha."

MDB: "I'm not your average Bill who digs ditches, scrubs toilets or sits in a cubicle with a bacteria-laden headset on all day. Don't confuse me with those losers."

SH: "Well, a few weeks ago you retained the Tru TV Championship against Ric Flair..."

MDB: "You are looking at the man who defeated Ric Flair 1...2...3 right in the middle of the ring."

SH: "The WCW Championship Committee has ruled the match a no contest because Mr. Anderson counted the pinfall after coming to the ring and interrupting the match. Flair had you pinned when Anderson grabbed the ref and dragged him out of the ring. Flair was on the verge of winning!"

MDB: "Who is the Tru TV Champion, Hudson?!"

SH: "You are! But you probably wouldn't be if not for Mr. Anderson!"

MDB: "I don't wanna hear it, man! I pinned Ric Flair! Who cares who made the count?!"

SH: "Who cares?! Really?!"

MDB: "Bottom line: I've been the Tru TV Champion since 'Spring Breakout' and I don't expect anything to change tonight against Paul Orndorff!"

SH: "What are your thoughts heading into this match?"

MDB: "I enter the ring the Tru TV Champion and I leave the ring still the Tru TV Champion just like I did against Ric Flair! I was made for this belt! It looks great on me! And I'm gonna remain the champion because I'm stinking rich and run with the beautiful people! I'm a champion in life and a champion in wrestling! The two go together!

"Orndorff can be proud of the fight I know he'll put up tonight! He's a tough competitor! But when all is said and done and the dust settles...he's gonna be the loser!"

Camera panned in on Hudson.

SH: "That was 'Million Dollar' Bill. We'll find out if he remains the Tru TV Champion after our main event later tonight.")

(Announcers hyped the main event. Hyped still to come: Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey has a major announcement. Said Dick Slater sees action next!)

(Commercials)

Match 2
'Dirty' Dick Slater vs. Craig Pittman

(Pittman was already in the ring and announced.

Music-only version of 'The Crunge' by Led Zeppelin played and out came Slater to boos. He was wearing a plain black t-shirt, dark blue tights with a red stripe on the outside of each leg and red boots with blue trim. He was wearing a championship belt. Slater made his way to the ring and climbed in and briefly played to the crowd.

Announcers wondered what the title belt was that Slater was wearing.

Slater dominated early, but Pittman fought back and almost scored an upset pinfall victory after a powerslam. Slater regained control of the match and hit Pittman with his front Russian legsweep finisher to score the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Slater - Pinfall - Front Russian Legsweep - 3:39)

(Post-Match Interview: Craig Johnson.

The ref had raised Slater's hand in victory and handed him his title and Slater slung it over his shoulder.

CJ: "Dick Slater. We haven't seen you on WCW programming since 'Spring Breakout'. You've obviously been a busy man as I can see you're holding a championship belt."

DS: "I have been quite busy, Johnson. I've been touring all over Australia and New Zealand."

CJ: "You won that belt on the tour?"

DS: "I certainly did. This is the AWA World Championship."

CJ: "You're a World Champion now?!"

DS: "Yep. I went on a rampage down under and came back with their version of the World Title. So now, you have two World Champions in WCW."

CJ: "Are you gonna be defending the belt here in WCW at some point in the future?"

DS: "Since I represent the AWA as their World Champion, I can defend this title all over the world. And that's what I intend to do."

CJ: "The last time we saw you, you were battling Paul Orndorff at 'Spring Breakout'. Orndorff beat you in that match. Would that make him the #1 contender for the AWA Championship?"

DS: "My feud with Paul Orndorff is far from over. That match at 'Spring Breakout' was just the beginning. The feud between us ends when I say it ends. And just because Orndorff beat me in one match does not automatically make him the #1 contender for this belt.

"We'll have more nasty battles with each other. But they may not be for this."

Slater patted the belt.

CJ: "Orndorff's got a shot to win the Tru TV Championship tonight in our main event against the champion 'Million Dollar' Bill. What do you think of his chances?"

DS: "As of right now, I am the biggest 'Million Dollar' Bill fan on the planet. I hope he stomps a mudhole in Orndorff on the way to retaining the TV Title.

"But, I'll throw this out there. If Orndorff wins the Tru TV Championship tonight, I will give him a crack at my AWA World Title. But I don't think it's gonna happen. So...nothing to worry about."

CJ: "What do you mean?"

DS: "I just don't think he's gonna win it. I believe he'll do something stupid and that will cost him."

CJ: "What stupid thing do you think he might do that would cause him to lose tonight?"

DS: "I just explained this and I'm not gonna do it again. I'm bored now. Interview over."

Slater took the belt off his shoulder and briefly walked around the ring holding it aloft to crowd boos and then dropped to the floor and headed back up the aisle with the belt slung back over his shoulder.

CJ: "Dick Slater is back and he is a World Champion. And his feud with Paul Orndorff looks like it will be picking up where it left off at 'Spring Breakout'. Tony and Mark, back to you.")

(Announcers discussed the return of Dick Slater and winning a World Title while on a tour of Australia and New Zealand. Then sent it backstage.)

(Backstage: Scott Hudson.

SH: "We are back in the WCW Interview.

"Paul Orndorff, come on in here."

Orndorff walked into the interview area in his ring attire.

SH: "Paul, Dick Slater is back in WCW and he's returned with a World Title he won down under. What do you think of that?"

PO (chuckles): "First of all, I know we'll be fighting again in the ring and maybe even some other places. 'Spring Breakout' wasn't the end of our situation. We despise each other immensely. There will be more warfare between us. You can bank on that.

"As for him winning a World Title on the other side of the world, well, are we sure he really won it? Knowing Slater, he may have purchased the belt on Ebay or something and now he's claiming to be a World Champion. And if he actually did win it, you have to ask yourself what questionable tactics did he use to become a champion."

SH: "You think he cheated to win that title?"

PO: "It is Dick Slater we're talking about here."

SH: "Good point.

"Tonight, you've got a chance to win the Tru TV Championship when you face 'Million Dollar' Bill in our main event."

PO: "'Million Dollar' Bill is a guy who should already be the former Tru TV Champion! We all saw what happened in his match against Ric Flair! Ric was gonna win until Mr. Anderson showed up and cost him the match! And if it wasn't for me showing up last week and pulling Flair off of him, then Anderson would be in a cast today! Looking back, maybe I should have stood back and let Flair break that SOB's leg!

"Now, I've got my shot! And I'll be damned, if I have 'Million Dollar' Bill on the ropes, that someone is gonna cost me my chance at winning a championship! Let's do this! I'm ready to rock-n-roll!"

Orndorff walked out of the interview area.

SH: "'Million Dollar' Bill defends the Tru TV Championship against Paul Orndorff in our main event and it should be a slobber-knocker!")

(Announcers said Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey has a major announcement and it's next!)

(Commercials)

(In-ring: Craig Johnson.

CJ: "We are back on 'Mayhem'.

"My guests at this are the Sheik's Army."

'Cry of the Vatos filled the arena and the Army came out to strong boos. Kamala, One Man Gang and Abdullah were all in their ring attire. Kaissey was in a suit, tie and keffiyeh. And Kimchee was in his safari gear, white mask with brown trim, pith helmet and carrying his riding crop.

The group made their way to the ring and climbed in.

CJ: "Where is Killer Khan?"

AK: "He got called away on personal business and could not be here."

CJ: "Is he avoiding handing over his right boot to WCW officials for examination?"

AK: "No! And don't bring it up again! You hear me?!"

CJ: "O...OK. Subject dropped."

"Sheik, we hear you have a major announcement concerning your Army."

AK: "That is right, infidel Johnson!

"The momentum has swung back in the Army's favor in our war with the Skyscrapers, Nord The Barbarian and Sgt. Slaughter. Now, we are looking to deliver the death blow to them and win this war!"

CJ: "How do you intend to do that?"

AK: "I have added a new recruit to the Army! We will have the advantage once again in terms of manpower! I believe I have found the missing link that will push us over the top and secure victory for us!"

CJ: "Is he here tonight?"

AK: "He is! This man is mighty and he is powerful! He is a first-class warrior and merciless in dealing with his opponents! He doesn't just defeat people! He crushes them!

"I give you the newest recruit to the Sheik's Army...the Warlord!"

'Cry of the Vatos' played and out came the Warlord on the entrance stage to boos. He had black and red face paint around his eyes. He was bald and had a goatee. He was wearing a post-apocalyptic steampunk trench coat, black leg-length tights with 'Warlord' written in red lettering on the outside of each leg and heavy black biker-type boots. He was carrying a round silver shield with 'Victory or Death' engraved on the shield above two engraved crossed swords.

Warlord made his way to the ring and climbed in as the Army looked on. He shook hands with the Sheik.

AK: "Look at this man! Would you say anything to him that might make him angry?! He looks like pure devastation and he is!"

CJ: "Can I speak to him?"

AK: "You may! But I would watch my words very carefully if I were you!"

Johnson gulped hard before speaking.

CJ: "Warlord, I'm sure the fans are wondering, what made you join the Sheik's Army?"

War: "I've been watching this war since it began last year! I've been impressed with the Sheik's Army! Look at 'em! These guys are destroyers! They are working to destroy WCW and re-build it in their image! But there was one thing that was missing! They needed one more weapon to give them the upper hand! They needed a powerful weapon, who, like an atomic bomb, could help drive the final nails in the coffin of the opposition! I am that weapon!

"It was like a divine presence was guiding this whole thing! One day out of the blue I get a call from Sheik Adnan El-Kaissey asking me to join his Army and fight the good fight! This was meant to be! And victory is meant to be ours as well!

"Sheik, you hired the right man for the job!"

CJ: "This is an army of mercenaries, Warlord. Did the Sheik make you a good offer?"

War: "It's the best offer I've ever received in my life! I'm now set financially! But this is so much bigger than money! All of this has come together because of something greater than all of us! Someone up there has shown favor to the Army!"

AK: "This is Allah's doing! And with him behind us we can't lose!"

War: "There are now five of us and just four of them! Everything is falling into place! I wanted to be on the side that will ultimately prevail and the Army is that side! Sid, Spivey, Sarge and Nord, prepare for total, crushing defeat!"

CJ: "The Sheik's Army has a new addition and the war takes yet another unpredictable turn. Tony and Mark, back to you.")

(Announcers discussed Warlord being the newest addition to the Army. Also thought it convenient that Khan wasn't there since WCW officials want to look at that boot. Said the main event was next!)

Match 3 (Tru TV Championship)
'Million Dollar' Bill vs. 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff

('There's No Easy Way Out' by Robert Tepper filled the arena and out came Orndorff to a strong ovation. Orndorff was in his red robe with black sleeves, red tights with 'Mr. #1derful' written on the back and red boots with white trim. Orndorff climbed into the ring and briefly acknowledged the crowd.

'Money' by Pink Floyd played and out came 'Million Dollar' Bill to pretty strong boos. He was wearing a silver and black tuxedo-like satin jacket with tails. On the back it said 'MDB' in silver lettering with black trim and several silver $ signs with black trim spread all over the back. He had a silver bow tie. He was wearing silver and black leg-length tights with the word 'Millionaire' written across the back of the tights in silver lettering with black trim and silver boots with a black $ sign on the outside of each boot. He had the title around his waist.

Ref called both men to the middle of the ring and laid down the ground rules and patted each man down as Orndorff and Bill stared each other down. Ref sent both men to their corners.

Ref called for the bell.

Bill charged out of his corner and jumped on Orndorff and started pounding Orndorff. Bill whipped Orndorff into the ropes and caught Orndorff coming off with a lariat that dropped Orndorff. Bill snapped Orndorff up and drove Orndorff back-first into the corner. Bill whipped Orndorff into the opposite corner and moved in and Orndorff charged out of the corner and blasted Bill with a running clothesline. Bill crashed to the mat. Orndorff covered Bill. 1...2... Bill kicked out. Both men to their feet and Orndorff stunned Bill with a kick to the gut and went to hoist Bill up for the piledriver but Bill twice blocked the move and backdropped Orndorff to the mat. Orndorff got to a knee and Bill caught Orndorff in a side headlock. Bill cinched up on the hold. Orndorff made it to his feet still locked in the hold. Orndorff shoved Bill off and Bill hit the ropes and came off and Orndorff dropped Bill with a shoulder tackle. Bill slowly made his way to his feet. Orndorff moved in on Bill and Bill started moving around the ring with Orndorff stalking him. Bill then bailed to the apron. Ref ordered Orndorff back and started counting. Orndorff blew off the ref and went over and Bill went to punch Orndorff but Orndorff blocked the punch try and nailed Bill with a head shot and suplexed Bill back into the ring. Orndorff snapped up Bill and went to whip Bill into the ropes but Bill reversed and caught Orndorff coming off with a flying tackle. Orndorff crashed to the mat and rolled out on the apron. Ref ordered Bill back and started counting. Orndorff slowly started making it to his feet on the apron and Bill moved in and stunned Orndorff with a head shot and then neck snapped Orndorff on the top rope. Bill turned and played to the crowd as Orndorff no-sold the neck snap and climbed back into the ring. Bill turned and saw Orndorff and jumped back and started backing up and begging off and then tried to bolt the ring again when Orndorff moved in and grabbed Bill by the back of the tights, spun Bill around and blasted Bill with head shots. Orndorff whipped Bill into the ropes and caught Bill coming off with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Bill down and hurting. Orndorff snapped up Bill and nailed Bill with a rib breaker. Orndorff mounted the middle buckle and came off with a diving knee drop to the chest that connected. Orndorff covered Bill. 1...2... Bill kicked out. Orndorff snapped Bill up and whipped Bill into the buckles and Orndorff charged in and blasted Bill with a running clothesline. Bill staggered out of the corner and crashed to the mat. Orndorff grabbed Bill by the legs and spun Bill around several times in the leg swing and let Bill go and Bill crashed to the mat. Bill hurting. Orndorff snapped Bill up and Bill stunned Orndorff with a knee to the gut that doubled Orndorff over. Bill nailed Orndorff with a series of forearm smashes to the back. Bill whipped Orndorff into the buckles and Orndorff slammed into them and stumbled out of the corner into Bill's arms and Bill bodyslammed Orndorff. Bill went out on the apron and climbed to the top buckle and came off with a frog splash the connected. Bill bounced off of Orndorff but quickly recovered and covered Orndorff and hooked the leg. 1...2... Orndorff kicked out.

Bill reached down and snapped Orndorff up and went to slam Orndorff's head into the top buckle but Orndorff got his boot on the top buckle and blocked the try, elbowed Bill in the ribs, freed himself from Bill's grasp and slammed Bill's head into his boot. Bill staggered off holding his head as Orndorff quickly regained his senses. Orndorff came up behind Bill and blasted him with a double sledge to the back. Bill staggered off and Orndorff repeated the move. Bill fell against the ropes and Orndorff leaned Bill back and laid into Bill with a series of stiff forearm smashes to the chest. Orndorff pulled Bill off the ropes and hoisted Bill over his shoulder, held Bill there for a moment and nailed Bill with a backbreaker drop. Bill down and out. Orndorff for the cover. 1...2...thr... Bill got his foot on the bottom rope and the ref saw it and ordered a break. Orndorff started pulling Bill to his feet and Bill caught Orndorff with a jawbreaker to the top of the head. Orndorff crashed to the mat as Bill fell back against the ropes. Ref counting. Orndorff slowly made it to his feet and Bill moved in and grabbed Orndorff and blasted Orndorff with a gator roll. Bill for the cover and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... Orndorff kicked out. Orndorff still down and Bill sitting up. Bill to his feet went over and grabbed Orndorff's leg and, after a brief struggle, was able to turn Orndorff over into a single leg crab. Bill cinched up on the hold. Orndorff in pain but scooting towards the ropes. Bill leaned back even more to apply more pressure to the lower back and Orndorff stopped moving. Orndorff, in one last surge, got close enough to the ropes to get his hand on the bottom rope and force a break in the hold. Orndorff made it to his feet with the aid of the ropes. Bill moved in and caught Orndorff with a head shot and then went to whip Orndorff into the ropes but Orndorff reversed and caught Bill coming off with a boot to the gut followed by a piledriver. Crowd popped. Bill down and convulsing on the mat and holding the back of his neck. Orndorff covered Bill and hooked the leg. 1...2...thr... Bill got a shoulder up. Crowd groaned. Orndorff snapped Bill up, whipped Bill into the ropes and nailed Bill coming off with a flying shoulder tackle. Bill crashed to the mat, rolled out on the apron and crashed to the floor. Ref ordered Orndorff to stand back. Ref counting. Bill barely moving on the floor.

Crowd booed as Dick Slater, still in his ring attire, snuck down to the ring and squatted down by the apron. As the count grew, a wobbly Bill made it to his knees on the floor and then to his feet and climbed up on the apron and fell through the top and middle rope back into the ring. Bill suddenly reached up and grabbed the ref by the front of the shirt and wouldn't let go. Orndorff moved in and tried to separate the two as Slater snuck into the ring and came up behind Orndorff, spun Orndorff around, kicked Orndorff in the gut and nailed Orndorff with a piledriver. Orndorff down on the mat and grabbing the back of his neck and writhing in pain. Slater bolted the ring and fled the scene. Bill let go of the ref and Bill made it to his feet. Bill snapped up the stunned Orndorff and rolled Orndorff up in a small package for the pin. 1...2...3! Ref called for the bell as the crowd booed.

Ref went over and took the belt from Craig Johnson and had a few words with him.

Bill got to his feet and the ref handed Bill the TV Title and raised his hand in victory.

CJ: "Wrestling fans! In a time of 10 minutes, 37 seconds, your winner...and STILL Tru TV Champion...'Million Dollar' Bill!"

More booing as Bill briefly raised the belt in the air with one hand and grabbed the back of his neck with the other. Bill then dropped to the floor, slung the belt over his shoulder and headed back up the aisle still holding the back of his neck as the ref checked on Orndorff in the ring as the program faded to black.

WINNER: 'Million Dollar' Bill - Pinfall - Small Package - 10:37)
