CGC Title Bout Wrestling
Sasketchewan, Canada
4,700
1.29 (974,240, up from 1.25)

Turner: We'll finally learn our competitors tonight for the Chamber of Horrors match next Friday.
Hesketh: Five men, one chamber, one championship, who can get the belt?

To begin the show, the Elite come out with Adrian Garcia out first followed by his three Elite clients. They stand in the ring, DaLay and Maverick as muscle while “The Fabulous One” stands flamboyantly with a fluffy, bright pink scarf.

Garcia
Hello and welcome to Canadian Elite Combat wrestling, I am your host, Adrian Garcia and tonight, we will begin with a special speech from “The Fabulous One” Eddie Chandler.

Eddie
Thank you Mr. Garcia. I am speaking here on this fabulously Elite night for one reason and that reason is certainly not fabulous. Tonight, the competitors for the Chamber of Horrors match will be decided. Yet, I do not see my fabulous self in the line up. How rude? So I ask the not so fabulous wrinkly man to come out here and tell me why.

Garcia
AKA We want an answer George DeColt.

Eddie
Thank you for translating Mr. Garcia. Sometimes I forget people don’t understand my fantabulous, phenomendous vocabulary. So, where are you Old man?

At this moment, George DeColt does come out, a mic in hand.

George
Mr Chandler, I can understand you are upset about not being included in tonight's qualifying matches. However, you are not in the position to be in them. You have other responsibilities.

Eddie
Oh, and what might that be?

George
Well, the CGC Canadian title. You are the champion and you must defend the title at Chamber of Horrors. It would be silly and irresponsible for CGC to place you in two matches on one night. That being said, I think it's very obvious that the CGC Canadian title must be your top priority, which is why you have been left out of tonight’s qualifiers.

Eddie isn’t happy with the news, shouting and screaming at George. Some of it is audible but it’s mostly just disbelief. He then turns to Garcia and stares at him.

Garcia
Mr. DeColt, surely we can work something out. I am a businessman, you’re a businessman, let’s talk backstage and we can work something out.

George
Sorry, my decision is final.

Garcia is taken aback by these comments and can’t contain his anger.

Garcia
Oh, you think you’re so smart, huh Georgie? Well at the Chamber of Horrors, Eddie will beat his opponent into a pulp and you’ll be made the fool. You’ll rue the day you crossed the Elite. RUE IT I SAY!!!

Eddie
FABULOUSLY RUE IT!!!!!

Rating: C+

Morgan and his puppet sit backstage, they seem to be having a conversation

Puppet
Ugh, The DeColts are a bunch of wusses.

Morgan
H-H-Hey, that’s not very nice, y-you can’t….

Puppet
Oh, shut it stutter boy. They all suck. Steve, Ricky, Jack, all of them. Especially that Alex DeColt.

At this point Alex comes up behind Morgan, casting a shadow over him. Morgan notices, the puppet doesn’t, it seems.

Puppet
He thinks he’s so smart. Always thinking, pfft. He’s just stupid.

Morgan
U-Uh, hey…..

Puppet
He’s just another wuss like the rest of them, a family of wusses.

Morgan
C-Can you…

Puppet
The DeColts? More like the DeCan’ts. Am I right?

Morgan
STOP!!

The Puppet then notices Alex DeColt looking at him, a confident smirk on Alex’ face

Puppet
What you looking at Blondie?

Alex
Charming Thomas, but I’ll see you out there and we’ll see who really is the stupid one.

Alex walks off. Morgan looks angry and upset.

Morgan
If you keep going the way you are, I’ll be in a coffin before 2006 ever arrives.

Puppet
Oh pipe down, he’s a wuss anyway.

Rating: C+

v
Alex DeColt (C+) v Thomas Morgan w/ Puppet (D+)

Morgan begins the match apologising to Alex but Alex isn't here to talk. A methodical approach to his opponent, Alex dismantles him with ease and a DeColt Driver ends it without much difficulty.
Winner: Alex DeColt
Rating: C

Turner: Alex is in the chamber.
Hesketh: That's one DeColt, will three more join him?

Jack is backstage training for his match tonight with a little help from Marie. Glistening with sweat, Jack does sit-up after sit-up without difficulty, despite the fact it looks like he’s been doing them for awhile. Marie dressed in a sports bra and yoga pants cheers him on acting as motivation. Until a man with a stetson walks up to them.

???
Howdy Pardner, I do believe I am the wrangler set to conquer your bull tonight.

Jack
WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY WIFE????

??? [Pointing his finger at Jack like a pistol]
I don’t reckon you understand what I mean, Pardner. Despite the fact she’s a fine fillie, the bull I plan to conquer is you. Pew!

Jack
I hate to say it “Pardner”, but you look to be a little out of your jurisdiction. So get your eyes off my wife and keep moving.

Marshall
Heh, I’m just passing through, hombre. Looking for a new bull to ride and I found him. Mick Marshall always wins. Whether it’s a bull or a bronco, this Marshall never loses.

Jack
Oh we’ll see because I ain’t like no bull you’ve faced before. I just don’t give up, see you out there, “Marshall”.

Rating: B-

w/v
Hotstuff Marie w/ Jack DeColt (C+) v Mick Marshall (D)

Marshall's power is scary. A brute of a man, no doubt earned from his time at the ranch, Jack can't catch a break. He throws Jack around like we've never seen before but the rage is building. Every attack, every move that lands, it adds to Jack's rage metre, he's ready explode. Here we go, Right hand, again, again and again. Clothesline. Shoulder Block. Irish Whip. Spinebuster. End of Days is locked in.... Marshall taps.
Winner: Jack DeColt
Rating: C

Turner: Things are not going well for the Elite, another DeColt is in the chamber.
Hesketh: I'm sure Adrian Garcia will have a plan, he isn't one to go in unprepared.
Turner: Neither are the DeColts

George and Ryan Powell are in the formers office. Powell puts down a cup in front of George, still in his suit. George has numerous documents in front of him, a whole workload.

Powell
Anyway I can help, Sir?

George
No, Ryan but thank you.

Powell
My pleasure, Sir.

At this moment, Steve walks into the office.

Steve
Hey Dad, I-

As he sees Ricky Powell, Steve stops talking and his ultra athletic, arch competitor demeanor comes into play.

Steve
Oh, it’s you.

Powell
Yes, it’s me. You were looking for Mr DeColt? Have you an appointment?

Steve
What? No, he’s my-

George
That’s quite alright, Ryan. I’ll talk to my son now, you can head to lunch.

Powell
Of course, Sir.

Powell leaves the room and Steve looks back and George in complete disbelief

Steve
What’s that about?

George
Oh, nothing much, Ryan’s being helping me out a bit.

Steve
Right…. Anyway, I was just coming to talk about-

George
Yeah, tactics. They’re over there. Alex dropped them by earlier.

Steve
Thanks.

Steve leaves and Powell is standing outside the door waiting for Steve.

Steve [Tapping the notes]
I may not know what you’re up to but Alex does.

Steve begins to walk away as Powell stands still, his hands behind his back.

Powell
Yes, use those tactics, it’s not like I’ve had access to them all day.

A smirk comes across Powell’s face as Steve looks back concerned at how much information Powell has before walking out of view leaving Powell by himself.

Powell
Oh, you are smart, Mr Powell. Heh, heh, heh. Very smart.

Rating: B-

w/v
Adrian Garcia w/ Dan DaLay (C+) v Ricky DeColt (C-)

Dan starts well due to his power, but Ricky has the stamina and speed to use hit and run tactics and they work very well. Sure Garcia gets involved more than enough times to keep DaLay on top but in the end, Ricky is a DeColt and he can do a comeback just as good as any other DeColt. He gets a head of steam and looks to finish, but a chair to the back as Ricky hits the ropes stops his momentum, the referee didn't see anything. DaLay Down, 1.. 2... 3.
Winner: Dan DaLay
Rating: C

Turner: Huge win for the Elite. Dan is in the chamber.
Hesketh: Looks like Maverick will have a friend after all.
Turner: Still, if Steve wins later on tonight, it'll be three on two with the DeColts at a distinct advantage.

Backstage, Adrian Garcia is sitting down with a cauldron in front of him. The contents bubbling, smoke rises from the cauldron. Garcia checks a book and then throws something into the cauldron and a brief flash of light and more smoke rise from the cauldron. It’s at this point when John Maverick enters the picture, the CGC World title belt strapped firmly around his waist.

Garcia
Don’t talk, John. We don’t want you to be like a deer in headlights again. Anyway, I know why you’re here. I know you probably think you'll be outnumbered in the Chamber next Friday, but we've a plan to help that dunce Ryan Powell, and if that fails, I have a back-up plan.

Maverick stands there, emotionless.

Garcia
What is it I hear you say, well, I can’t tell you until next week. Myah, ha ha. However, I will tell you that I have everything covered. Heh, Alex ain’t the only ones who can come up with plans and tactics.

Still, Maverick is unperturbed. No facial expression or anything of that nature. He just stares at Garcia.

Garcia
I can see you’re doubting me, John. When have I ever led you wrong? Huh, this will work and the Elite will still rule the roost. Myah, hah, hah.

Rating: C-

v
Ryan Powell (D+) v Steve DeColt (B)

As the match begins, it is very even as the two men trade moves. When Steve begins to execute his game plan, Powell see's them all coming. He did study the game plan. Despite this, Steve thinks on his feet and gets back on top a few times but Powell always is able to regain control. He hits big moves, missile dropkick, only two, springboard crossbody, two, tornado DDT, two. He can't put him away but Steve is hurting. However, he does come back with a clothesline, but Powell also lands just as much with his clothesline and they're both down.

Here come the Elite, but Powell is already up as Steve has taken far more damage. Annoyed by their appearance, Powell screams at the Elite to get out of here so he can win this, but the distraction is bad news. He turns, DeColt Stampede. The Elite can't react, 1... 2.... 3.
Winner: Steve DeColt
Rating: C+

Turner: HE DID IT!!!! Ryan Powell put it up to Steve, but he did it.
Hesketh: Through sheer determination, the ability to take punishment and taking his opportunities. A true DeColt victory.

All four of the DeColts stand in the ring, mics in hand. The Elite flee.

Steve
And There we have it folks. Three DeColts are in the Chamber.

Jack
That’s right and we will happily bring back the world title to the DeColts, where it belongs.

Alex
Steve, Jack and I are ready for Maverick and DaLay but the thing is, who will Eddie Chandler put his title on the line against?

Steve [Sarcastically]
It’s certainly a mystery.

Jack [Sarcastically]
I have no clue.

Alex
Eddie, you will face…...

Ricky, who instead of bursting out with the reveal, is on his phone, laughing and seemingly talking to Delicious Danny.

Alex
Ricky!

Ricky
What? Huh? Oh. Um, Me. Eddie. You will face me!

Jack rolls his eyes, while Steve is obviously unimpressed.

Alex
Get your head in the game Ricky.

Ricky
Don’t worry, Al, my head is totally in the game. I’m gonna beat up Eddie so bad, he’ll wish he never came to CGC. I’m totes psyched up. I just needed to talk to Danny, we haven’t had…

Steve
Good, you're gonna need to be tuned in.

Ricky
No, I totally am, it’s in a cage, he’s got nowhere to run and no Elite friends to help.

Jack
Well there, goes the big reveal.

Ricky
Oh my bad, I mean, IT’LL BE IN A CAGE!!!!!! WOOT WOOT! How was that?

Jack
Ugh, I hate millennials.

Alex
Anyway, Eddie Chandler, you’ll face our brother Ricky. This time you will have no help, this time you will be inside a cage, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no friends to help you. We believe in Ricky, right guys?

Steve and Jack
Of course.

Alex
Yes, that’s right and we will all be victorious because we are….

All Four
THE DECOLTS!!!!! CANADA’S BEST!!!!!

Okay, so big apologies again posting this earlier than I wanted. I wanted to get this up tomorrow but I'm busy throughout the weekend and I want Chamber of Horrors up by Monday because the chances of getting something out after Monday is iffy at best. So sorry if you didn't get time to predict or comment.

Thought this show was better than the last in terms of character building. Really glad that the puppet got over with some of the readers and Morgan continues to be one of my favorite parts when writing the shows. Mick Muscles debuted as Mick Marshall, I enjoyed the gimmick even if it isn't goofy usually but I can work with it. Also, I really, really, really like Ryan Powell's gimmick, like a corporate kiss ass trying to impress his boss. I really like it. What gimmicks do you guys like?

Chamber of Horrors is written and it's 18 SEGMENTS LONG!!!! I really hope it's not too long for you guys, but it does delve more into characters and foreshadowing some stuff I want to do down the road.

Chamber of Horrors

John Maverick (c) v Alex DeColt v Dan DaLay v Jack DeColt v Steve DeColt [CGC World Title][Chamber of Horrors Match]
Eddie Chandler (c) v Ricky DeColt [CGC Canadian Title] [Cage Match]
Ed Monton and Youth Energy v The Soldiers of Fortune and ???
The Specialists (Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson) (c) v The Varsity Boys [Delicious Danny & Stunning Stuart) [CGC Tag Team Titles]
Ryan Powell v ???
Mick Marshall v ???

CGC Chamber of Horrors
Edmonton Grandstand, Alberta
9,959
0.05 (29,385)

Turner: We're here. Chamber of Horrors have arrived and tonight, we hope, we have a new champion.
Hesketh: We'll have to wait and see, Jerome. I can't wait.

Backstage, Morgan and his puppet are sitting down minding their own business.

Puppet
This place sucks.

Morgan
A-ah, no. C-Come on, it isn’t t-too bad.

Puppet [Mocking]
Uh, Y-Y-Yes, it is. We gotta get outta here.

At this point, Whippy the Clown comes up to Morgan, a bag full of balloons, he begins to make a balloon animal.

Whippy
Oh, ho, ho, don’t be down sir. Here have a balloon, what animal would you like?

Puppet
I’d like you to go away.

Whippy bends down to be face to face with the puppet.

Whippy
Well, excuse me mister, no need to be grumpy, I’m just trying to help.

Puppet
How about you help by going away.

Whippy
That’s not going to help your bad mood.

Whippy makes a dog and hands it to Thomas, smiles and walks away. The puppet looks at Morgan.

Puppet
We need to beat that idiot up.
Rating: C-

v
Puppet w/ Thomas Morgan (D) v Whippy the Clown (D+)

Whippy dances around the ring to begin as the bell sounds but Morgan hits him with a cheap shot. This really sets Whippy up to comes back with kicks, punches and elbows. When Whippy is about to end it, miraculously, the Puppet comes flying across the ring with a crossbody. Some might say that Morgan threw him at Whippy.... but this gives Morgan to opening to lock in the STF and win.

Winner: Thomas Morgan
Rating: C-

Turner: Oh my god, the puppet helped Morgan to win.
Hesketh: Are you an idiot? Morgan clearly thr..
Turner: What a crossbody!
Hesketh: Ugh.

Backstage, Ricky is playing some video games in his locker room when Delicious Danny and Stunning Stuart barge in, Ricky fumbles and bumbles to try and turn his console off until he realises it isn’t who he thinks it is.

Ricky
Hey, don’t just barge in like that Danny, I thought you might have been Alex.

Danny
No way dude, we ain’t here to bust you. We here to wish you good luck tonight in your match.

Stuart
Yeah bro. Good luck and…. Yeah, good luck.

Ricky
Oh, thanks dudes. Good luck to you too, tag titles? The Varsity Boys tag champs, sounds good huh?

Stuart
Hell yeah.

Danny [Daydreaming]
Imagine all the skirt we’d get. Anyway, we got something else to ask too? Beers tonight, after the show?

Ricky
Can’t, family gathering tomorrow. Not that I care or anything but last time I was hungover at one of those, Alex made me play the drums for everybody, my head… ugh. I can’t go through that again.

Danny
Oh…

Stuart
Hey, we understand bro. We can rip it up another time.

Ricky
Well, I’m free now, wanna play a few matches in CGC’s new video game?

Danny
Hell yeah!!

Brrrrring, Brrrring. Ricky’s phones lights up as a call is coming in.

Ricky
Hello….. Yeah, I was just… Yeah, I….. No, not yet but…… *sigh* Okay… yeah, I’ll be right there. Sorry, I have to go, my brothers want to talk to me but stick around and play if you want guys, I might be back in time before your match.

Ricky runs out of his locker room as Stuart waves goodbye. Danny on the otherhand looks incredibly disappointed and seems disinterested in playing the game now.

Mick Marshall is sitting backstage on a rocking chair chewing tobacco when a bright light begins to shine. Unperturbed by the light he does nothing until a loud bang signifies the arrival of a person.

Marshall
What in tarnation?!

???
You sir, what year is it?

Marshall [confused]
What year is it? You on something pardner?

???
No matter, I can find out for myself. Who are you?

Marshall
Who am I? I could ask you the same question hombre.

???
I cannot disclose that information

Marshall
Oh, smart guy eh? Well let me tell you pardner, you have gotten on the wrong side of this Marshall, how bout I meet you in de ring?

Marshall leaves.

Human Arsenal
Human Arsenal Journal Entry one, it seems they speak unusually in this time period, I met an individual who is certainly big enough to be my target but I have not confirmed as much. He has challenged me in combat so I will defeat him and figure out if my mission here is complete.
Rating: D+

v
Human Arsenal (D) v Mick Marshall (C-)

Marshall looks to use his strength against Arsenal but it seems Arsenal knows all his moves before he uses them. This makes Arsenal very difficult for Marshall to deal with and after an Ammo Dump, Arsenal gets the win. "Mission Not Completed". Damn, Arsenal's mission ain't done yet.
Winner: Human Arsenal
Rating: C-

Turner: Who on Earth is that guy?
Hesketh: I dunno, some weirdo.
Turner: He called himself Hum..
Hesketh: He's a weirdo, Jerome, let's leave it at that.

Backstage, Marie is giving Jack a message to relax him for the match tonight. When suddenly John Maverick and Dan DaLay attack, beating down on Jack. Marie stands there initially before she tries to protect her other half throwing punches at Dan DaLay. They don't’ affect him despite her rage, she just comes off as cute. Dan picks Marie up and puts him on his shoulder and the two Elite members walk away with Jack on the floor in pain.

In his office, George DeColt seems to be waiting for something or someone. It is then when Ryan Powell walks in the door.

Powell
You called for me Mr DeColt?

George
Yes Ryan, I have a job for you.

Powell
Of course sir.

George
We have a new employee here in CGC tonight and I would like you to face him one on one in the ring as a friendly welcome to the company.

Powell
Of course sir, may I ask who it is?

George
Well, see for yourself.

At this point, George points at the door and Owen Love walks through.

Love
Mr DeColt, finally I am here to help the stars of CGC with their love lives. We all deserve love and the Love Doctor will make sure CGC has plenty of it.

George
Excellent, Owen. This is Ryan, you will face him tonight.

Love
Unlucky in love is it, young man? Well tonight, I mend your broken heart.
Powell isn’t best pleased.
Rating: C

v
Owen Love (D+) v Ryan Powell (C-)

Love starts by giving Powell some tips on how to present himself but bang, a right hand to Love knocks him to the mat. From there, Powell takes his anger out on Love and a Star Treatment ends it.
Winner: Ryan Powell
Rating: C-

Turner: Powell has really done well recently.
Hesketh: Are you surprised, the guys the biggest kiss....
Turner: A win is a win Farrah.

Eddie Chandler is in his locker room styling his hair when….

Jack
EDDIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Jack DeColt breaks down the door and grabs him by the throat

Jack
Where… is….. Marie?

Eddie
Oh Jack, how on Earth would I know?

Jack
Don’t make me hurt you Eddie. WHERE IS SHE?

Eddie
Jack, I am very busy making myself look splendiferous, I don’t have time for kidnappings.

Jack releases Eddie Chandler as that does indeed make sense.

Jack
Well, surely you know something?

Eddie
You know I don’t. However, I think you can figure out who does.

Jack’s eyes widen in realisation as he runs off.

Eddie
Ugh, Anger is not a pretty emotion.

&v&
The Specialists (Bobby Thomas (D) & Nate Johnson (D))v The Varsity Boys (Delicious Danny (E+) & Stunning Stuart (E))

A very simple match, the technical heels ground the faces while the faces look to fly around the ring. It's very even but the experience of the Specialists really shine throughout. They corner Stunning Stuart and a Natural Order by Nate gets the win to retain the belts.

Winner: The Specialists
Rating: D-

Alex is in his locker room looking over his notes for his match tonight. He studies a Dan DaLay match and looks at his notes, coming up with various strategies that could lead to his win in tonights main event. However, where’s his notes on John Maverick? He gets up and goes into his filing cabinet, nothing is in there. He then returns to his locker room everything is gone, as Garcia sprints out the door with the notes and tapes in his hands

Bloodstone (B-) & The Soldiers of Fortune (Chance (D) & Fate (D-)) v Ed Monton (D+) & Youth Energy (Lee Rivera (D+) & Shane Nelson (D))

It's a even match, at least when Bloodstone is on the apron. When he's in the ring, he shows his class, destroying his opponents with almost super human precision. Bloodstone Mutilation on Monton, that's it.

Winner: Bloodstone & The Soldiers of Fortune
Rating: D+

In Steve’s locker room, it is empty as Steve is in the shower. While this is happening, Adrian Garcia runs in and steals his gear bag and leaves again. When Steve comes out of the shower he realises his gear is gone and isn’t happy.

[Cage Match]
w/v
Adrian Garcia w/ Eddie Chandler (B-) v Ricky DeColt (D+)

Ricky really starts well, he works his gameplan to perfection and looks like he may win quickly. Unfortunately, a low blow turns the tides. Garcia starts to throw weapons in, a chair and kendo stick. Eddie picks up the kendo stick and looks to hit Ricky but he rolls out of the way and picks up the chair and uses it to block Eddie's kendo stick attacks. The kendo stick breaks and Ricky has the chance to use the chair but misses, Superkick by Eddie. Only 2. Eddie uses the chair now but Ricky dodges the attacks and hits a dropkick on Eddie. He's setting it up, DeColt 45.... NO! Eddie smashes Ricky over the head with the chair. Fabulous Stretch, Ricky strains his face in pain... but he won't tap. Eddie extends the hold even more, Ricky still won't tap, but he's fading, more and more, and he's out.
Winner: Eddie Chandler
Rating: C+

Turner: What a brutal match, Ricky gave it his all but it wasn't enough.
Hesketh: He's just after regaining his consciousness. That Fabulous Stretch was locked in, but Ricky would not give up, what a warrior.
Turner: However, Eddie Chandler retains, but what a match up.
Hesketh: This shows Ricky can go, he was unlucky tonight, he went high risk and it didn't pay off, if he hits that DeColt 45, we're probably looking at a new champion.

Sitting backstage, surrounded by Alex' notes and Steve's gear, Adrian Garcia is very happy. We here loud bangs and screams for help from a locked closet, probably from Marie who is locked inside. Garcia, of course, doesn't care about her screams. He sits surrounded by the stolen goods counting a wad of cash he has received, probably some kind advertising pay off. It is then when a shadow is caste over him and he looks up. To his shock, Alex, Jack and Steve stand over not looking very happy. We then cut to outside Garcia's room, as Alex comes out with his notes, Steve comes out with his gear and Jack comes out with Marie.

Walking backstage, looking disappointed, Ricky DeColt put his long hair in a ponytail. Walking with his head down and his spirits in the dumps after his loss, Ricky is upset at not winning the Canadian title. At this point, Steve, Jack, Marie and Alex pass by on the way back from Garcia's locker room. Alex stops to talk to him.

Alex
Ricky, whats wrong?

Ricky
I was so close, Alex. I almost had the dude, but I failed again.

Alex
I don't think you need to beat yourself up Ricky. You did us proud out there, you'll get him next time.

Alex smiles at Ricky who smiles faintly back at him.

Alex
I better get ready, world title match is up next.

Alex runs off, Ricky is left alone, clearly thinking about where he goes from here.

With eyes as red as the devil's, Bloodstone stands next to Jenny Playmate.

Jenny
Hello, I'm here with the man they call Bloodstone, so, uh, Bloodstone, what are you doing here in CGC?

Bloodstone
A sacrifice must be made.... A toll to be paid.... to pass the river Styx.... a hell that I am fixed.... strength is what need..... as that is what they feed... the angels of gold fell.... to give me my path back to hell....

Bloodstone walks off, Jenny is stunned in silence.

[Chamber of Horrors Match]
w/vvw/vw/v
Adrian Garcia w/ Jack Maverick (C+) v Alex DeColt (C+) v Dan DaLay w/ Adrian Garcia (C+) v Jack DeColt w/ Hotstuff Marie (B-) v Steve DeColt (B)

Being outnumbered, Maverick and Dan begin the match with weapons already in hand having taken a chair and kendo stick off the chamber walls. However, it doesn't help much as Jack, Alex and Steve get weapons too, a trash can, stop sign and a 2x4. Alex and Dan go at it while Steve and Jack go after the champ. Dan swings his kendo stick over and over at Alex but Alex blocks the shots with the stop sign. Jack and Steve are beating Maverick in the corner but Jack goes over to help Alex but Dan turns and smashes Jack over the head with the kendo, Alex has his chance his kicks Dan leg and looks to hit Dan with the stop sign but whack, chair shot to the head by Maverick who thanks to an Adrian Garcia distraction threw Steve face first into the cage. So they set up the plan, Dan puts Jack's feet in between the chain link of the chamber and Garcia puts a chair around it, locking it with a key pad, Jack can't move. Dan beats up on Alex and john ties Steve in knots. Garcia mocks Jack, but Jack uses his foot to jab Garcia in he face. Garcia is down and Jack calls over Marie on the outside to get the key off Garcia and unlock the pad. She does and Jack grabs a chair, ready to become the Wild Man he is. SMASH! Chair shot to Dan's back. BANG! Maverick gets one over the head. Steve is up and he goes over to help Alex with Dan and Jack locks in the End of Days on Maverick. Steve and Alex beat down Dan assuring he can't help his partner, Maverick's hand is rises, he's about to tap...

BANG! A monster is coming down to the cage, Jack, Steve and Alex are distracted. The monster is huge, far taller and bigger than anybody in the ring. However, ti's okay, the door is locked. WHISH, CRACK, TSHH! The monster rips the door off his hinges and he's in the ring. The DeColts are shocked. Jack reacts first with a chair, SMASH! It cracks off the Monsters body.... He doesn't even flinch. Now Steve and Alex join the party, nope, nothing works, BANG, BANG, BANG! Three big right hands to the DeColts. They're down but not out. The monster picks up Jack and flings him into the steel. Steve receives another punch to the jaw. He then picks Alex up, lifts him above his head and drops him onto the pile of weapons below. The monster picks up Maverick and places him on Alex' chest for the pin, 1.... 2..... 3.

Winner: John Maverick
Rating: B-

Turner: Aw come on, they had this planned.
Hesketh: Garcia is a genius Turner, he maybe a little goofy but he's a known winner.
Turner: Who is that monster?
Hesketh: I don't know Jerome, but I do know this, he's going to change the landscape of CGC forever.

With Dan and John down it is up to the monster to destroy the DeColt brothers. He throws them around like ragdolls as Adrian revives Maverick and DaLay and the three men cheer on the monster who is beaten down on the DeColts. Sure they fight back, but they just went through a grueling match, they can't fight a monster right now. The DeColts are in real trouble with this monster he could end them.

HERE COMES RICKY! Chair in hand, he gives the best he's got to the monster who was choking Alex. SMASH! AHHHH! IT HAS AN EFFECT!! Right into the back of the monster. DaLay looks to attack Ricky, he gets a chair shot to the head for his troubles. Garcia orders his troops to retreat, and they run away from Ricky, however, the Elite still hold the belt as Maverick holds the belt close to his chest.

Rating: C

Turner: Wait, how come that chair shot did something?
Hesketh: Must be a weakness.
Turner: I'm sure Alex will see it that way, but how will they exploit it?
Hesketh: More like can they exploit it?
Turner: We have more questions then answers, and it seems the DeColts have a new Elite member to worry about.

Good lord that was long, after only two weeks of build it's tough to make things matter for the first PPV but I think I did as well as I could have.

I actually thought a lot of the stuff was pretty fun, Whippy and Morgan, Marshall and Arsenal, Love and Powell. With the lack of time on TV, I decided to build all these matches on the show and I think it worked pretty well. The Elite and DeColt segments were good, gave the impression that their plan was one thing, then they had another, then that was just another weapons in their bag of tricks, so overall I think I set this up as good as I could have given the time I had.

One thing I have to mention, oh my god, this company. A lot of people find CGC in 2016 to be in trouble. I disagree, look at the 2005 roster, my god, they have no faces. Their midcard is barren, their tag division has three proper teams and that's it. I have a lot of work on my hands. The whole company is just DeColt v Elite and everything else is just filler. I don't mind that cause it isn't too bad but when you have multi-man tag matches as a PPV stip (Elimination, the next one), the roster is run incredibly thin. Hopefully some of the additions I have made can make the midcard relevant and I can have some good midcard characters instead of relying on the DeColts and Elite to do 6-8 angles each show.

One thing I need to do is get the people who can help CGC over. However, I think I'm getting a little too caught up in gimmicks, but I like creating gimmicks so, I'll have to wait and see what I do from here.

I'm in the process of setting up Elimination now and in truth it's been tough but I have the first week of TV figured out. However, if anybody has any tips, feel free to give them. CGC 2005 is tough.
