Interview with "Nosawa" backstage

- - - - -
"Today is the day we begin with a new freshness that surrounds the arena, that freshness which hits my feeling, which strikes and lights my passion, that passion is what keeps me motivated, that motivation leads to new outcome, and that outcome is to win. I will continue my win, even if challenges arose, I will clear those bad air with new freshness, as I Nosawa will clean those bad air one by one, and Truly one day I will rise up to win a Championship in the NWA Japan. Remember me."

- - - - -
Nosawa vs. Hiroko

- - - - -

Nosawa runs towards Hiroko instantly the bell rings, as he locks in an headlock seeming to start in a good way and a good grasp of the head takes Hiroko to the ground as the headlock is still locked in with a good position to get-up Hiroko powers up and counter with a Technique he calls the "hiroko special" which is good counter of an headlock. Nosawa is being a little cocky here which might also cost him the match here, but hey Hiroko is not bad at all, as he counters the running elbow with good looking spinning kick to the jaw, as Nosawa rolls out of the ring continuing to check his jaw.

A determined Hiroko goes after Nosawa as he continues to beat him and whips him towards the guard railing, Hiroko then whips Nosawa back to the ring with all the sheer force he gets and climbs back in, but Nosawa using his clever senses paced up enough to catch Hiroko midway and hits a devastating DDT almost breaking his skull in half. Nosawa can't waste time here as he needs to get a win as soon as possible, he goes for a cover, but the same determined Hiroko kicks out at 2.

Nosawa now recovering in the corner, Hiroko on the other end also recovering both thinking of what strategy to use, Hiroko comes out with a right hand out of nowhere almost making Nosawa's teeth fly out of his mouth. A Stunned Nosawa gets wheel kicked in the face, but Nosawa does not get down, as he cannot go down yet, "still more, still more way to go" said Nosawa mumbling, Nosawa in him caught the flying dropkick from the second rope and turned it into a Boston crab as he tries to make Hiroko tap, Nosawa notices that the move is in a bad position so he transition the Boston crab into a STF, making it more impactful to make Hiroko tap, finally taking no more pain Hiroko taps out, giving Nosawa a clean victory to continue his journey.

"I told you all that I would win, no I knew I would win, I will keep winning till I get close to the Championship, I will prove my Worth in NWA Japan, making sure you remember me well, as I the freshness here will kill every bad air."

- - - - -

Interview with Koji Kanemoto backstage
- - - - -

"Today is the day I become a champion, Today I will show my mentor that I Koji Kanemoto has surpassed him, Dragon-san today I will show you that your student has indeed become much greater than you ever did. Today will be the final day to my test with Dragon-san, as Today I will beat you to win the World Japan Junior Heavyweight Championship. Just you wait."

- - - - -

Koji Kanemoto vs. Ultimo Dragon [World Japan Junior Heavyweight Championship]

- - - - -
Koji Kanemoto who is actually very serious in this match-up, seems to just like his master Ultimo Dragon used to be, very serious. Ultimo Dragon on the other corner is proud to be standing against his disciple. The Clash between Teacher and Student Starts.

Koji knows most of the tactics his master uses but never has he ever seen the Ultimo Dragon or should I say the evolved version of him, Koji strikes first, as both men involve in striking back and forth giving Koji the upper hand eventually and Ultimo is now on the ground, Koji knows what to next, as he has always been his master's truest disciple, never seem to miss a class nor does he seem to make any mistake, Koji knows its his time to prove what he has got. Koji goes all in.

Eventually Koji goes for an leg lariat, trying to destroy the leg by stomping the hell out of it, stomping continues and the leg has finally weaken enough for him to lock in an Boston crab trying to make his master tap out. Reaching the ropes Dragon seems to notice something different in Koij, something that he should take advantage of, something that is Koji's rage against him. Make no mistake, Dragon is an veteran here.

Making Koji feed on his emotion did the trick and made Koji's fail to connect to most of his maneuvers. Koji gets more and more frustrated as he cannot cope up with Dragon in this match. Dragon is clearly in the advantage here and also in full control. The Wrath came for Koji as Dragon finally hits the Asai DDT that almost broke Koji's skull to the Vacant World Japan Junior Heavyweight Championship Title.

This wasn't your time Koji, as I clearly saw you have to improve more, more skills to develop, but overall you have evolved with time, but hard-work always pays off- remember that Koji and you will succeed in the future, as for me I need to evolve more.

- - - - -

Interview with "Masahiro Chono" backstage
- - - - -

"Ahh....Yuji Nagata seems like we are paired to fight against one another, but remember that I've always been the best and tonight will not be any different. Your new World Japan Heavyweight Champion Masahiro Chono."

- - - - -

Masahiro Chono vs. Yuji Nagata [Word Japan Heavyweight Championship]

- - - - -

This is not the first time they have fought against each other nor will it be the last, but this time the only difference is that they are fighting for a World championship. The Championship which is the top prize in NWA Japan, the ultimate goal of every wrestler.

Masahiro Chono being an bad ass, makes the way to the ring with great reception from the crowd, so can be said for Yuji Nagata, an ultimate genius. Yuji Nagata seems to have a plan onward, as he attacks the legs of Masahiro Chono, with increase in force with every strike, softening the legs to get a better hold, while attempting an submission Yuji clearly had a bad positioning which allowed Chono to counter right in.

Chono knows how to get the match flowing, he knows the in ring psychology, also knowing the situation he digs right in. Yuji and Chono put up a great fight which resulted into the fans showing their respect for both man. The camera cuts a few times to the World Japan Heavyweight Championship and at the same shows both men clinging onto each other to get on their feet.

Back and forth the match goes and the momentum changes into different section, once in the hands of Chono, he ends it quickly enough for the win with his signature "The Shining Yakuza Kick", to win the World Japan Heavyweight Championship.

Tournament Round 1:

- - - - -

Interview from backstage with "Jado"

- - - - -
"Kaz Hayashi dies tonight, I will take his soul tonight, as I Jado will be always be victorious. You think I am stupid, you have never questioned me in the first place, Jado is the best!"

- - - - -

Interview from backstage with "Kaz Hayashi"

- - - - -

"I agree that Jado might be tough, but he cannot defeat the motivated Kaz Hayashi, this Kaz Hayashi is only one that can win this tournament. Keep your eyes on me, as I take a step towards the victory, and finally win the World Japan Junior Heavyweight Championship."

- - - - -

Jado vs. Kaz Hayashi

- - - - -
Both men seems to know what is about to go down, what is about to be, what is about to go. Only one man can enter through the gates of victory, only one man leaves tonight as a victor, only one will win. Jado starts with some quick feels and take down, which seems to annoy Kaz Hayashi, roll-ups from Jado continues to cause Kaz Hayashi to attack in rage. He know how to get his opponents down, arm drags followed by some light headlock to hear it down.
Kaz Hayashi tries to make a comeback again and again but Jado seems to end his momentum right away, a running stiff kick from Jado as Hayashi rolls out to check his jaw. Jado follows and whips Hayashi into the guard railings and smashes his head over and over on it. Finally whipping Hayashi into the ring he tries to return in, but Hayashi hits a pair of dropkicks to make Jado lose balance and falls from the apron.
Heavy strike exchanges follow back and forth, causing both men to dance phonemically. Jado ends the dance with a stiff right elbow which almost knocked out Hayashi. Jado knows what to do next, as he climbs the turnbuckle to hit a diving elbow but Hayashi counters hit with another pair of dropkicks, quickly lifting Jado by his trunks he hits him with a combination of backdrops followed by one after the other.
Chops onto the corner can be heard as loud as a water dripping in a horror film climax scene. Jado gets quick enough to dodge the right elbow and hit one of his own, both men on the ground, Jado tries to end it now on but Hayashi seems to be too motivated to give up that easily as he counters Jado with a lifting DDT, but this was not enough to end Jado, Hayashi starts thinking hard, what to do, what should he do to end this match, what should be do, finally he seems to get an answer, an answer that cost him his match, Hayashi lifted Jado to finish him with his signature move which is know as the "Final Cut", Jado being smart enough turns him around and whips him into a devastating "Jado Bomb" that shook the life out of Hayashi knocking him out. Jado finally wins and advances a step forward gaining his first victory in this tournament.

Interview from backstage with "KENTA"

- - - - -
"When was the last time I ever lost, what the last thing that happened to my opponent after I beat him to death, in other words, life and wrestling to me is equivalent to "Do or Die" or should I say "Kill or Get Killed". This words is what keeps me alive, never have I ever lost, and tonight this is not the end of my streak."

- - - - -

Interview from backstage with "Tiger Mask IV"
- - - - -

"KENTA-chan, you are getting in the with a veteran, well I would say winning does not make someone who is not someone that you want to be to beat as I can clearly see that. Makes no sense right? as I will talk the sense out of you in the ring."

- - - - -

"Tiger Mask IV vs. KENTA"

- - - - -
KENTA stares the living hell out of Tiger Mask IV, who seems to not worry about it so much and start shoving KENTA, big mistake by Tiger Mask, as he got the shit beaten out of him, KENTA starts early on with stiff arms to the side of the jaw weakening it up, to make it easy for him to destroy Tiger Mask.
Tiger Mask eventually got out of KENTA's hold and hits a Spin kick to the face of KENTA, Tiger Mask is not to be taken lightly in any way, Tiger Mask know how to berate his opponents and also know to beat the living hell out of opponents. Tiger Mask gets a dark feeling inside of him, constantly making him fear of something, something that is the weakness of Tiger Mask, something that keeps him in fear, something which might also end him sometime.
KENTA starts hitting the stiff strikes again as they both get back and forth in motion, KENTA finally counters the backdrop attempt from Tiger Mask and hits a Stiff kick to the face, Tiger Mask seems to go into his motions again, KENTA keeps getting the upper hand now on as he hits another pairs of stiff kicks to the face and now Tiger is down, wasting no time he hits Tiger with a low dropkick now straight to the head trying to keep Tiger down.
KENTA wants to end it early on and Tiger Mask on the other hand is now in paranoia of his own fear, that seems to strike in him like lighting a match, striking constantly like a lighter. The fear never goes from Tiger Mask, something feels so odd and so wrong, this is also the feeling that cost Tiger Mask his match against KENTA, who finally ends the stunned Tiger Mask with his signature "Go 2 Sleep" to get the first win in this tournament. KENTA wins and advance in his journey to conquer the World Japan Heavyweight title belt.

Black Tiger Mask IV vs. NOSAWA

- - - - -

Right off the start are coming with a exchange of strikes between both men, finally Black Tiger IV strikes NOSAWA with a devastating right hand and whips him to the corner and the chops hits NOSAWA, agility starts to kick in as he escapes from the chops set up by Black Tiger Mask IV. Both of them knows who's leaving the ring victories tonight and also knows what happens when they are equal.
NOSAWA's agility was no match for Black Tiger Mask IV, seemed to get most of the upper hand and the strikes gushing in, seems to wear his opponent down. Getting a little cocky here NOSAWA lifts and whips his opponent to the ropes and tries to go for an early finishing trying to hit a lariat, but a more experienced Black Tiger Mask counters NOSAWA's lariat with an hard looking spin kick the face and getting in for the cover, but kick out breaks the count. NOSAWA is still in the match.
Both men try to out best each other, trying so hard, so that either one of them wins, so hard to reach the World Japan Junior Heavyweight Championship. Both men keeps trying on and on and on. Black Tiger Mask IV whips NOSAWA to the ropes and tries to hit an right kick but NOSAWA blocks the kick turns the leg around and hits hits a dropkick on Black Tiger IV to which NOSAWA goes for the covers but Black Tiger Mask IV came to consciousness early on to kickout in time, to avoid getting pinned out.
Black Tiger IV pulls a mule kick out of nowhere, which almost knocks out NOSAWA, but he cannot give up yet, NOSAWA desperately tries to get back on his knees and tries to hit his opponent with a Lightning kick but Black Tiger Mask IV quickly counter in time to hit one of his own. Now both men is tired and both lay onto the ground, it was one hell of a grueling fight.
Black Tiger IV takes the advantage after a "i-block-your-punch-you-don't-block-mine routine", after this follows the Dropkick from Black Tiger Mask IV, making NOSAWA fall to the ground hard, and ends NOSAWA's momentum tonight as here it comes the Tombstone Piledriver for the win. Black Tiger Mask IV wins and advances with one win in this tournament.

"Many wrestlers in NWA Japan have tried to out smart me before, but none of them succeded, you haven't got your lesson yet TAKA, don't worry I will teach it you, that never come across me ever again kid."

- - - - -
Jado vs. TAKA Michinoku

- - - - -

Jado one of the most experienced one here knows how to work TAKA and make the situation in the better, while also making the momentum shift in his hand, Jado knew that TAKA would be good in the kicks he threw, but a scopslam stopped him Decisively, and making good use of the situation Jado make a great advatage and weaken the arms and the head of TAKA, luring into finishing him.
TAKA thinks that he can win here, as he thought with just throwing some kicks and punches, while following some suplex, but stayed on his gaurd, thinking he could defeat Jado, which seemingly proved to be wrong as TAKA's mistake of carelessness made Jado's job easier to lock him into the "Crossface of Jado" for the second win in a row. Jado advances to the next round.

KENTA vs. Kaz Hayashi
- - - - -
KENTA and Kaz Hayashi showed what happens when someone is equal to you, when neither backs down lose, or nobody wants to lose, same game on right time, making the bar for the next generation even higher and showing their amazing skillful performance.
KENTA showed why is someone to be feared with, someone that can knock you out at any moment, someone who only has victory in mind, KENTA made many near falls tonight with countless kicks and bodyslams combined, the penalty kick by KENTA made him even more dangerous almost breaking the ribs of Kaz Hayashi.

At a point Kaz Hayashi taunted KENTA by slapping the face of out him, which only made KENTA's fire burns even brighter. After an absolutley gruelling match it was time for Kaz Hayashi to "Go To Sleep", while KENTA advances in the next round with yet another win.

This match is all about the rivalry between Black Tiger Mask and Tiger Mask themselves, contributing to which brother is the best at what they can do, what they can achieve, the proving ground for them is the NWA Japan.
This is one hell of a grueling fight that takes place, both trying to kill each other, both try to make the other lose, both are trying to win here. After all the hardwork Tiger Mask IV put into this fight, it was all washed down the river as Black Tiger Mask IV knocked Tiger Mask IV with "Tiger Suplex", to advance to the next round with another win.

- - - - -

Tiger Mask IV begins with a grascious strike to the balant face of NOSAWA, seemingly taking NOSAWA to the ground and working to weaken him, Tiger Mask knew that he has to win no matter what happens, he has just to, or else he will be the victim of his own words, thinking only of this he lifts up Nosawa and kicks him in the gut to reverse the momentum and going for an early finish with the "Tiger Suplex".

NOSAWA scores with a back heel kick on Tiger Mask taking him to the ground and covers him to get a count of two. The referee is out, as he goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face from Tiger Mask IV, which was an use mistake as NOSAWA quickly ceases the chance and hits a sickening low blow to the groin of Tiger Mask IV.

Back heel kick off the second rope, Tiger Mask goes down, mostly knocked down, NOSAWA heads to cover Tiger Mask IV but the referee is still out, which is all the fault of Tiger Mask IV. "This is all your fault Tiger Mask, O' don't worry but I am going to beat you tonight, don't worry." NOSAWA says the fallen Tiger Mask, while NOSAWA lifts him up to adjust the pressure of sleeper hold applied by NOSAWA.

Tiger Mask IV seems to drastically counter the sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker, but NOSAWA rolls out of the ring, while checking his jaw at the moment, Tiger Mask IV did not take this lightly as he applied the high risk maneuvers to the moment and successfully hit the amazingly performed Suicide dive from the top rope!

Kick by Tiger Mask IV...to the facial regions once they are back in the ring. Tiger Mask tries to lift his opponent but the sudden blows to the gut stop him from performing any move at that moment, NOSAWA hits a devastating kick right into the face of Tiger Mask IV, NOSAWA then shouts out the following sentence " I am going to break that nose of yours! Yeah!", took to time to respond while being cocky, he gets Super kicked by Tiger Mask IV, got his own nose damaged instead. 1 - 2 - kick out NOSAWA saved himself from a near fall.

Both men seemingly recovering from the hits performed back and forth but NOSAWA walks into a face crusher variation, as Tiger Mask IV goes for the quick cover, but 1 - 2 - almost a 3. NOSAWA blocks a suplex attempt using the power of gravity, as long as he can destroy the Tiger Mask IV and humiliatin him in from of everyone, instead countering the suplex he performs the hurricanrana, to everyone's surprise Tiger Mask takes a rana from NOSAWA, another near fall 1 - 2 - kick out before the 3. Tiger Mask IV takes the advantage here as NOSAWA is in trouble because he got countered at the moment while going for his own finisher the "Twisting senton bomb", Tiger mask finally rocked him and performed his devasting finisher the "Tiger Suplex! for the 1....2....3." for the second victory and gaining momentum to advance to the next round 4.

KENTA vs. TAKA Michinoku

- - - - -

TAKA knows from the beinning that he is screwed but tries to make the best of this match, take every notice and notes of it, it's time to evolve is it not?, KENTA makes the very best of TAKA from the beginning and makes sures he stays right in his possession, but the whip from KENTA makes TAKA walks into a high dropkick from KENTA.

KENTA seems to get a little smart here, wearing TAKA's head down so that he can a quick vicotry with his finishing maneuvar, so he tries to go for a high kick trying to damage as much as possible but TAKA blocks the high kicks from KENTA, with a sharp knife-edge chops seeming to do more damage, so TAKA takes this moment to actually come back and do the offense here, as TAKA hits a massive spinning kick to the jaw, which seemed to do enough damage to take KENTA groggy.

While TAKA seemed to do the damage and offense here, KENTA goes into his countering mode as he reverses an irish whip...and TAKA Michinoku runs into the referee. "Hah, die referee scum!" TAKA shouts while instantly low blow the hell out of KENTA, TAKA will try anything to win here tonight, he has too, will be successful?

TAKA seems to get the momentum in his hands with a back heel kick off the second rope, KENTA goes down, a quick cover Hooking the leg in, but the referee is still out. "God Damnit" TAKA shouts and thinks of the reverse plans, as he only gets knees on a splash and continues to diminish KENTA with Hard back suplex. TAKA strategy comes to an end as he takes a rana from KENTA, with him covering him quickly. 1 - 2 - no 3 though, KENTA tries to make the best of the situation and catapaults TAKA to the top buckle.

DDT from the top rope by KENTA....holy crap, that was sweet, just made the whole momentum shift into the hands of KENTA in a shiwft. 1 - 2 - almost a 3. Frustrated about TAKA not giving up KENTA drops an elbow...but misses...HAH, TAKA is clever as always, following with escape, TAKA crushes KENTA with a running butt smash...nothing says 'killer move' like driving your ass into someone else's face, did you get it?. 1 - 2 - kick out before the 3. TAKA now thinks he can end the night, but O' how wrong he was, KENTA moves in for the kill with a devastating Busaiku Knee Kick! 1....2....3 for a beautiful win for a beautiful match.

Black Tiger Mask IV vs. Kaz Hayashi

- - - - -

Black Tiger Mask Knows what's about to come down, so he first works around Hayashi to get the view correct and let the match do it's own dance. Kick from Black Tiger IV...to the leg! Oh the humanity!, makes the crap out of Hayashi correct and standard to quality, but just making a kick does not make the match steady, you are going to have a black nightmare with Black Tiger IV when he misses a big legdrop and lands ASS-FIRST on the mat, gruding in pain, while Kaz takes to the ropes recovering.

Kick from Kaz Hayashi...to the leg! making the same exact pace and goes to it with a same exact move. Kaz thinks to do a Springboard dropkick which landed succes fully and...that looked pretty cool. Kaz thinks to some some more damage before the good pin and only gets knees on a splash, only turned to be flying neckbreaker from Black Tiger IV, who makes a wild comeback as he crushes Kaz with a high DDT from the top rope by Black Tiger IV and taking him for the cover, but only getting a 1 - 2 - 2.5.

It seems Black Tiger Mask is in the game as Kaz get's killed with the high angle slam and quickly gets hooked in the cover 1 - 2 - almost a 3, Black Tiger Mask IV tries to end it as soon as possible with Kaz walking into a trip. It's time to make the kill as Black Tiger IV moves and Here it comes - Tombstone Piledriver. 1....2...3, it's finished and hell that was good to get Black Tiger Mask IV advancing in pace, how will Tiger Mask IV respond?
