Default Stampede: Hart & Soul - An Over The Edge: Flashpoint Diary

Quote:
Best There Is.
Best There Was.
Best There Ever Will Be.

These are the words my brother,
Bret Hart used to describe himself back in his glory days.
And while self proclaimed, no one seemed to object it,
this was just another fact about The Hitman.
I never had a problem being the number 2 guy in the family,
I love my brother and I know very well he's the best wrestler
I ever been in the ring with, that's for sure.
He's better than me, I have no problem admiting that.

When he asked me to join the company back in 2010,
there was no hesitation, of course I joined.

Starting out, we were pretty small,
but the name "Hart" always gets a crowd in Calgary,
so we had nice attendance.
We weren't huge,
we barely made any money if at all,
but it was never about the pay.

In the Hart family, Wrestling is sacred.
It's bigger than a passion, or a legacy.

IT'S LIFE ITSELF.

That's why I was so proud when my son, Oje,
started his pro wrestling career.
It was inevitable, yes,
and it wasn't like I never saw him wrestle,
I trained him after all,
but from that to wrestling around the world,
Japan,
England,
Canada
of course,
that's much different.

Then we started to catch some eye-balls,
and Bret was somehow able to persuade
Vince to give us all the clips from the Network,
then he got us ON the Network.

To this day, I have no clue how it happened.
Maybe Bret gave Vince something in return,
maybe Vince believes this is good business.
Or maybe, maybe this is Vince trying to pay back.
Pay back Bret for... THAT NIGHT.

Anyways, I went on enough, let me just end it like this:
We may not be the biggest name in town
We may not have the flashiest roster
We may not have the best wrestlers

But...

WE
ARE
STAMPEDE!

OOC:
I love this mod to bits, and I wanted to do a diary on it since it was announced, so here it is.
a MASSIVE thank you to Fleisch "The Wizard of Modz", this mod is probably the most hyped I've been since Summer of Punk screenshots were shown to me.
I'm playing as the focal point of this mod, Owen Hart, hopefully this will go for quite some time.
I'll have a preview for the first show very soon

p.s. for those wondering, the terrible Logo I'm using was made by yours truly. It's terrible, I know, but if for some reason you like it you're free to use it.

Default Roster Overview

Meet The Roster:
Quote:
Main Eventers:

Ethan Page - Our North American Heavyweight Champion. Great in the ring, incredible heel, is still young and has potential for days.
One of the best wrestlers on our roster, this kid can fly. High

El Generico - The Man Known as Sami Zayn, The Generic Luchador, Pride Of Tijuana, whatever you wish to call him, this man is quite possibly the best pure in ring wrestler on the roster, and it must be a matter of time before he's a multiple time North American Champ. His selling ability, aerial versatility, chain wrestling skills and storytelling brilliance make up for one of the best wrestler on the planet today, and one hell of a signing, and I'm proud I chose to sign the guy.

Oje Hart - My son, and the most promising talent on the roster,
as well as our number one guy.
Charismatic, oozes Star Quality, and a damn good high flyer,
kid has potential, loads of potential.
he likes the nickname "Hearthrob" so I guess we'll call him that.
The biggest problem surrounding his future in the company is, well, he might not have a future here.
With so much talent, charisma, and looks, WWE and WCW are destined to sign him,
and I'm not going to hold him back,
so the only question is "how long do we have?".

Tyson Dux - A great veteran, reminds me a lot of Chris Jericho for some reason, I can't put my finger on it.
Regardless, he brings 20 years of experience and can help passing some of his knowledge to the young guys.

Teddy Hart - Oh yeah, this little rat.
Teddy is the son of Georgia, my sister.
He was always so... distant, from the rest of the family.
That was until he followed dad's footsteps into wrestling, and suddenly we started seeing him all the time.
His son, Bradley, wants to be WWE World Champion when he grows up.
I don't know how I feel about it yet.
He's a trouble maker, yes, and I'll let you in on a secret:
I don't like him, but he's my nephew, and I love Georgia.
Plus he's not that bad a wrestler, so I guess that's nice,
and he's one half of the NA Tag Champions, The Hart Foundation 2.0, although I think you'd agree when I say the original was better.

Sylvain Grenier - Not really much to say about him.
41 years old, bring a lot of experience, but nothing special.
He's charismatic, though, so maybe he can become a manager or a commentator down the line.

Midcard (Lower - Upper, this will rotate a lot so they will be specified as one group):

Chakal - Same as the above, solid worker, but he told me he might retire soon.

Jack Evans - Now we're talking, this kid is SPECIAL. I've been around the wrestling business for, what, 30 years?
And yet he somehow manages to surprise me, to amaze me, with his athletic abilities. Incredible high flyer, probably the best we have, he's the second half of the North American Tag Champs, The Hart Foundation 2.0 and a real good kid. Apparently he and Teddy are best of friends, hopefully Jack turns Ted into a better person, but I feel like it's more likely going to be reversed.

Scotty O'Shea - I LOVE his gimmick. It's unique, fresh,
and most of all, Oje says it's cool so it must be true.
I have no idea what this World of Warcraft is,
but if it gets butts on the seats I really don't care.
Wrestling-wise, he's not bad by any means, but nothing more than your average wrestler with a good gimmick, which sometimes is all you need.
To my surprise Bret likes him too, I thought it would piss him off.
he's very... tight with wrestling.
Usually he can't stand gimmicks like that, but not with Scotty.

William Brady - People like him very much, but I didn't have the chance to witness him in person yet.
Looks good, but I can't see any greatness there. A solid midcarder if a little more, he's on a tag team with Ashley Sixx as The Mayhem Express and they click nicely, they have a few title runs in them.

Alessandro Del Bruno - A solid cruiserweight, he's teaming up with Scotty and they seem to be over, so that's nice.
We'll see how he does in the ring, I have some doubts.

Ashley Sixx - The other half of The Mayhem Express, a nice flashy worker, but the strongest guy we have. Mentally that is.
"Advanced Stage-3 Lymphoma Cancer couldn't stop me, so why should anyone try?" - It's amazing how he overcame that, and what's great about wrestling is that stories like this can only get you over.

Eric Cairnie - He's young, and that's more or less his best attribute. A good heel if anything, he needs to improve if he wants to stay here.

Joe Hendry - I've heard crowds chant "local hero" so many times before finding out why.
He's a singer.
A good one, I'll give him that, but does it help in wrestling?
Apparently so, because he got over very quickly. He can cut promos very well, has some nice technical skills and is only 4 years in the business. I like him, and so should you.

Josh Alexander - Being an announcer and a commentator helps him with his promos, but other than that I can't see much else. Maybe a tag team down the line?

Joey Janela - He's got a bright future, I'm sure of it. And I'll make sure to help him get a name out there, while hopefully get him some good skills in the squared circle.

Kirk Warmack - He's still young and has room to improve, but I'm not too sure if I want to wait for him to do so.

Kobe Durst - Again, very young, we'll see how he does.

Lionel Knight - I'm gonna be honest here, he's not very good. Not sure how long he's got here, but unless he pulls something out of his sleeve, it's not long.

Openers & Enhancement Talent:

Brent Banks - A solid high flyer, can't see much more than a midcarder here, but he's got some nice moves and one of the only babyfaces who can get people to cheer him without needing anything more than his moveset.

Shane Sabre - Kid has some nice sideburns, I must admit. Very average in the ring though, but he has some potential I think.

Justin Sane - He's really just a jobber here. But hey, we all start as ones.

*Brian Pillman Jr. - Do I really need to introduce a name like this for you? A good high flyer, just like his dad, but I'm not too sure if he's got the charisma and promo skills his father had. He's very young, so that might change, and he's injured for about a month.

More Flashpoint diaries! Woo! Stampede is very interesting, going to be fun to see the rise of the promotion. Excited to follow this!

Gym Rats (Alessandro Del Bruno and Scotty O'Shea) vs Hart Foundation 2.0 (Jack Evans and Teddy Hart)
Gotta put over probably your two biggest stars at the moment. Unless Gym Rats can somehow manage the upset.

Tyson Dux vs Joey Janela
Hm, interesting addition of Joey Janela. I think Tyson picks up the win though, for Canada!

Joe Hendry vs Oje Hart - Winner Gets Title Shot Whenever He Wants
Oje is someone I'm excited to personally book down the line, I hope he picks up the win here! I can easily see him becoming the ace of Stampede.

Thanks! I bet you're gonna steal Oje in your diary very soon, but I'll do whatever I possibly can to stop it from happening in my diary, that's for sure.

I am however absoloutely amazed by your diary presentation, but sad that I do not home the skills nor tools to create such cool graphics (case in point: the logo and banner I made for this diary).

I'm running a Stampede game as well though I changed it to perf > pop and brought in a few name Canadians because it made sense to me. Jericho, Zayn, Rhino, Petey, Rene, RD are all fun additions. And I'm strongly considering Alex & Chris in the future. And maybe Kenny Omega...

Gym Rats (Alessandro Del Bruno and Scotty O'Shea) vs Hart Foundation 2.0 (Jack Evans and Teddy Hart): Unless you wanna give the Gym Rats a title match, these are the best two guys there.

Tyson Dux vs Joey Janela: Big fan of Janela though and hes my company's loose cannon basically.

Joe Hendry vs Oje Hart - Winner Gets Title Shot Whenever He Wants: Rematch against Ethan Page? Ethan isn't really ready to hold the title. Oje's solid though.

Idk if you're going by stats but Ethan Page isn't really a high flyer xD I think he's had deliberate antics about his inability to do much of anything fancy going top rope. Also not sure how far ahead you've booked but Josh Alexander is pretty solid, I wouldn't disregard him. IRL for sure. Him & Page or him & Dux would make a handy pairing.

I'm very sorry for not being able to finish Best There Is yesterday, but I am very close right now and will post it in an hour/two hours tops.

As a gift, here's Joe Hendry's brand new theme I literally wrote myself (and took most of the time to write...):
Based off of his brilliant ICW Theme
"Joe Hendry Makes Things Better, His Wrestling Is Like Art, Joe Hendry Makes Things Better, For None Other Than Owen Hart!
JOE HENDRY
LOCAL HERO!

Cause if you want some,
Come and get soooome,
If you want some,
Come and get-

Gonna takeover the world,
Japan, US and Wales
And Canada is up next,
So watch out Oje and Page (CANADA IS UP NEXT)
Cause baby I'm the star
Of the Heavyweight division
I'm gonna get rid of all the cigarettes
And get us back on television!

Cause if you want some,
Come and get soooome,
If you want some,
Come and get some
If you want some,
Come and get some
If you want some-

Let's have a great evening
At the first ever Best There Is (BEST THERE IS)
There's a new face of Stampede
And his name is Joe Hendry (JOE HENDRY)
We wrestle all day long
Putting smiles on families' faces
We wrestle all over Canada
Calgary....... And sometimes other places

Cause if you want some,
Come and get soooome,
If you want some,
Come and get some
If you want some,
Come and get some
If you want some-

Joe Hendry Makes Things Better, His Wrestling Is Like Art, Joe Hendry Makes Things Better, For None Other Than Owen Hart!"

I would also like to add that Ethan Page's moveset is just the most fun thing ever

Default Saturday, Week 4, May 2018 - LIVE! From Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Quote:

Stampede Wrestling Presents 'Best There Is I', LIVE! From The Stampede Corral, Calgary, Alberta Canada
Quote:
The Show starts with a video recapping some of the feuds and matches we're going to see tonight

Rating: 32/E+

Owen Hart Enters The Ring To A Big Applause:
WELCOME! To the FIRST ever Best There Is!
This is a monumental occasion for us here at Stampede Wrestling, and we would like to thank all of those who chose to arrive here tonight!
Now I don't want to waste too much time, because we have a packed card here tonight, and much like anyone here at The Stampede Corral or watching this from the comfort of their couch on the WWE Network, I'm excited to see the matches unfold.
So I'll make this short and sweet:
Let me welcome The One And Only...

KING RICOCHET! *Huge Pop To The NXT Star*

Rating: 66/C+ (Owen Hart Promo)
68/C+ (King Ricochet Arrival)

El Generico vs. King Ricochet:
The hype surrounding this match ever since King Ricochet has been announced to appear against The Generic Luchador was exploding Social Media for two days, but finally we get to see the two high fliers in action.
The crowd was cheering for both athletes, but were definitely behind Stampede's own, El Generico, who used the energy provided by the fans to get an early chain of attacks, starting with a hurricanrana and ending in two consecutive Olé Kicks!
But those weren't enough to put down The Future of Flight, who appears to get momentum by his side ever since the kickout, returning the favor with some of his own signature moves - Backflip Kick, Rolling Thunder DDT and Chocolate Rain to pop the crowd up!
Generico was looking to get a quick break to get himself together on the outside, but maybe he forgot he's facing Mr. High Fly, because what followed was obviously expected by the Kentucky native, who performed a marvelously executed Cockscrew Moonsault to the outside! The crowd is loving the action they're seeing inside the ring, and you can't blame them.
The flashy moves don't stop as Ricochet climbs the apron and goes for a springboard moonsault to the outside but nobody's home, Generico got out of the way, and he's now bringing the pain back to Ricochet, hitting stiff punches and forearms to his cranium inside the ring, but Ricochet answers back with forearms of his own, they start switching blows, both visibly taken to their limits, until all of a sudden a storm of forearms ensues, they are at the peak in terms of their bodies, but they take it all out here, leaving nothing behind.
Ricochet gets the upper hand though, and he's able to hit his Benadryller!
He follows it up by climbing the ropes, and hits an unhuman 630º Senton! And that's all she wrote!
One! Two! Thre-

NO!
Generico kicks out! The crowd can't believe it!
And so does the NXT Superstar, he could've sworn he will return to Florida with a victory abroad, but Generico will not let Stampede down, he will not let Canada down!
Ricochet goes back up to the top rope, looking to finish the deal with a second 630º Senton, but this time Generico climbs the other side and hits a Spike Brainbustaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!, and adds a Brainbustaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! for good measure!
This is over, no one has kicked out from this combo since his debut!
One! Two! Three!
El Generico wins the clash of the high fliers!

Winner: El Generico (Brainbustaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!)
Rating: 57/C-

After the match, King Ricochet and El Generico show respect and sportsmanship to one another, and shake hands after their incredible bout.

Rating: 49/D+

No Holds Barred Match

Joey Janela vs. Tyson Dux:
Bad blood has been brewing between the two for weeks, and finally they have the chance to close it out with a No Holds Barred match. No Countouts, No DQ,
NO RULES.
Anything goes in this one, and the two enemies take no time to start a war, when the bell rings, they both drop down the apron and look under the ring for a weapon.
This results in a synchronised image of them taking out a chair and return to the ring at the same exact time, to their respective corners.
It's not long before they charge at each other with the chairs and start slamming them at each other, absorbing each hit and continue trading chair shots to the body until both drop from the pain at the same moment, leaving them on the mat, motionless.
This will usually initiate a ten count, but Jimmy Korderas knows better, this is a No Holds Barred match, no count is necesarry, and after what seemed like a minute of the crowd clapping for them to get up to no avail, they finally get back to their feet, and pick it up right where they left off!
Chair shots gallore again, but this time Dux is able to get the upper hand, and hits a painful Power-Breaker!
It's not enough though, and Janela is in for a world of pain, because Tyson takes the chair he brought, only this time Joey is helpless, and lands vicious looking hits, he channels all of his anger into those, and after he's done he sets up the chair on the bottom turnbuckle, gets Joey up on his shoulders, oh god no, he's not doing what I think he is, right?
DEATH VALLEY DRIVER, ONTO THE CHAIR!
This man is trying to kill Joey Janela on an international stage!
But wait on for one moment, because Tyson is not done, what else is he gonna do?
The Muay Thai Kid sets up the Boston Crab to finish this match, but before he can fully lock it in, he's interrupted by...

Brent Banks?!
What does he have to do with this?
He runs in and proceeds to slam Tyson with the chair Joey brought in, is this an act of a vigilancy?
He keeps hitting Tyson with the chair, Jimmy has nothing to do with this interference, until Joey regains himself and rolls up Dux for a big win!

Winner: Joey Janela (Surprise Rollup)
Rating: 38/D-

After the match, Joey Janela takes to the mic and says 5 simple words:
Tyson...
Meet Flash (Points to himself)
And Banks! (Points to Banks)

Rating: 38/D-

Oje "Hearthrob" Hart is backstage, cutting a promo while smoking a Cigar:
Tonight will be the historic night that will begin the second run of The Hearthrob as North American Champ.
Joe Hendry and Ethan Page can't do a damn thing about it, because I am better than them in every single percivable way, I am Superman, but they're far from being Cryptonite.
Hendry wanted war, he's gonna get it.
Ethan sided with him, he's gonna get it.
In Stampede, there's one guy standing above the rest, and that guy is Oje "Hearthrob" Hart.

Memorize that name, because you're gonna be seeing me soon as the new, 2-time, North American Champion.
*He throws the cigar on the ground and stomps on it before we head back to the ring*

Rating: 52/D+
Additional Notes: Oje worked the crowd well by improvizing, neat!

Chakal vs. Sylvain Grenier:
Chakal and Grenier are two experienced veterans of the industry, and long time Stampede roster members, looking to put on a show to please the fans, and do so in quick, action-packed fashion.
They switch signature moves and big reversals with each other, seemingly unable to be put down for a 3 count, until Grenier pulls out his famous Vertical Suplex-DDT, "3 Seconds of Fame", and picks up a win against the struggling Chakal.

Winner: Sylvain Grenier (3 Seconds of Fame)
Rating: 37/D-
Additional Notes: Chakal and Grenier have shown great chemistry.

North American Tag Team Title Ladder Match

Gym Rats vs. The Mayhem Express vs. Hart Foundation 2.0©:
The first of two title matches here tonight, a triple threat tag team ladder match makes this an open chance for new champions to be crowned, and definitely puts the current ones at a disadvantage, since they don't need to even be involved with the finish.
The ring is set with 4 ladders leaned against all corners, seemingly waiting until one of the participants puts them into use, and that doesn't take long, because all four ladders are immediatley picked up by Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, William Brady and Scotty O'Shea, but even with one ladder more than the rest, Hart Foundation 2.0 can't hold off the attack which is being launched by Gym Rats and The Mayhem Express, who hold the rivalry between them for a moment to eliminate the champs from the match. This results in a great image where Hart and Evans have their backs against each other, both holding a ladder and surrounded by the four other opponents.
After getting disposed of the title holders, Gym Rats and The Mayhem Express can get down to business, as Ashley Sixx and William Brady topple Gym Rats with classic tag team wrestling, climaxing with a beautiful tag team manuever on Bruno where Sixx runs off the ropes, frog jumps over Brady, who pushes him even further up the air, and landing a devastating elbow drop, followed by Brady hitting a running senton on the Italian!
This looks to be over, with Sixx climbing a ladder to reach the titles, but O'Shea isn't gonna let that happen.
He pulls Ashley's leg down, lands a huge clothesline, and climbs the second turnbuckle to signal the crowd to start cheering, which gets abruptly cut by William Brady, who takes advantage of Scotty's position and hits an elevated Crucifix Powerbomb!
This leaves him all alone in the center of the ring, one ladder in position, and he starts climbing for the promise land, uninterrupt-

Quote:
Peyton: Hold on one moment, some just jumped the railing, a crazed fan of the Hart Foundation 2.0 perhaps?
WAIT, THIS IS-
Owen: JIM?! *Owen is frozen in place*
Peyton: JIM THE ANVIL NEIDHART!! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?!?
Brady has yet to notice him, The Anvil is rocking the ladder! OH MY GOD!
BRADY JUST FELL 10 FEET FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER!
And look who's back, Teddy Hart and Jack Evans.
Go ahead, climb the ladder, it must feel so good for you to win like this.
Teddy Hart and Jack climb the ladder, unhook the titles and celebrate with Jim Neidhart.
What a finish, the return of The Anvil has a sour taste without a doubt.

Winners: Hart Foundation 2.0 (Jack Evans Retrieved The Belts)
Rating: 45/D+

*Cheers Emerge as Local Hero Enters The Arena*

Rating: 39/D- (TEW can't appreciate a man's hard work)

North American Heavyweight Title Match

Joe Hendry vs. Oje "Hearthrob" Hart vs. Ethan Page©:
There it is, the end of the first ever 'Best There Is', the first year of the trilogy that gives Bret "The Hitman" Hart the honor he deserves.
And what better main event than a triple threat for the North American Heavyweight Championship, the grand prize of Stampede Wrestling, with 3 of the top workers in the company, if not Canada - Joe Hendry, Oje "Hearthrob" Hart and the current champ, Ethan Page!
We start with a few taunts from all three participants, Joe Hendry gettign the biggest support from the crowd, followed by Oje and lastly Page, who can't get the crowd on his side.
This visibly angred him, and he starts punching and pummeling Joe Hendry, who doesn't let it become a beat down, resulting in the two brawling while Oje, perhaps wisely, watches from the side, letting them waste energy and power.
The Hearthrob doesn't stay out of the picture for long, and after Hendry hits a Hendry Slam to take Page out for a few moments, Hart checks in to take down the Local Hero of Stampede and starts stomping on the legs and feet of Hendry, a smart startegy that could prove lethal once he attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter, which doesn't take long because Hart wants to end this quickly!
He locks in the famous hold that made virtually every known wrestler to tap out ever since it was debuted, but this time Ethan Page runs in to force a break on the hold before Hendry ends his run as champ.
And as Page comes in, he and Oje start switching blows to the crowd's delight, booing both men with each strike and start cheering heavily once Hendry comes back in to hit a Freak of Nature on Oje Hart!
But the reigning champ won't let Hendry capitalize with a pin on the third man, who answers right back with his variation of the Fallaway Slam, known as the Shitonite *Patent Pending*.
This leaves the North American Heavyweight Champ all alone with two fallen comrades, he first picks up Hart and lifts him up for a Canadian Goldberg!
He then turns his attention to Hendry, hits his finishing move, the feared Spinning Dwayne! But instead of hooking the leg, he goes for another one, but this time he can't finish the move, because a spear with the outline of Oje Hart breaks him in half!
Oje has an opportiunity to end this!
He pushes Hendry out of the ring, drags Page to the middle of the Squared Circle, looks at the crowd with a crazed expression, and locks in THE SHARPSHOOTER!
Middle of the ring, Page has nowhere to go-
HE TAPS OUT!
HE TAPS OUT!
WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!
THE HEARTHROB HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

What an ending to Best There Is I!

Winner, And 2-TIME North American Heavyweight Champion: Oje "The Hearthrob" Hart! (Sharpshooter on Ethan Page)
Rating: 41/D-

*The Show's ending images are Oje celebrating with his regained belt*
Rating: 35/E+
Show Rating: 49/D+

Stampede Wrestling, LIVE! From The Stampede Corral In Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Brian Pillman Returns to open the show

Rating: 20/E-

Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Lionel Knight:
"Flying" Brian Pillman Jr. is back in action and never missed a step by the looks of it, chaining a plethora of maneuvers to start the match, working around and over Knight rather than in fornt of him.
The strategy worked wonders, and the fan favorite had the crowd on their feet for him in less than 5 minutes after hitting a physics-defying springboard corner armdrag to put Knight down.
It wasn't long before Pillman ended this bout too, Knight sparked a bit of a comeback but couldn't finish the job, and before he knew it, Pillman hit the move made famous by his father, the Tornado DDT, known as the Devastating Driller Tornado, to win the match!

Winner: Brian Pillman Jr. (Devastating Driller Tornado)
Rating: 36/D-

Quote:
Peyton: And Brian Pillman Jr. is the winner! It's like he never went away, don't you think so, Ow-
Owen: Sorry George, but I'm forced to interrupt you because once again there has been a fight backstage.
Peyton: Oh boy, not again. Who are the two punks this time?
Owen: Well not two, George, but four. I'm hearing Tyson Dux is there but let's just go backstage and see for ourselves.
*We go backstage and see Tyson Dux and a hooded man, like the one who attacked Joey Janela last week, assault FlashBanks with foreign objects.
The hooded man reveals himself to be none other than son in law of the legendary Dynamite Kid, Dan Myers!*
Peyton: What the hell is he doing here?! Is he even on our payroll?
Owen: It doesn't matter, what matters is he attacked members of the roster, and I promise you this will not go unnoticed.
Rating: 34/E+

William Brady vs. Teddy Hart:
Two weeks after Jim Neidhart cost him the tag titles, William Brady finally has a chance for vengeance on the leader of The Hart Foundation, Teddy Hart.
Bad blood has been building between the two teams but especially between William and The Terminator, who became the voice of the new foundation.
This match was bound to get ugly and get ugly quick, Jimmy Korderas was going to have to work extra on this one, as Brady starts off with vicious knees and elbows, he's not wasting any time on his foe, looking like a mad man on the loose, left and right hooks hitting the forehead of the 3rd generation star to the point where Jimmy had to hold him off and bring out doctors to treat the bloody Hart.
He refused them, though, he wanted to put Brady in that position, he wanted to make him snap, and he succeeded in doing so.
When the match restarted Teddy tried to get Brady to corner him or push him to the ropes to force a break, and it worked every time, Brady was blind to the tactics used on him, which eventually worked to Teddy's advantage, when at one point Brady was separated from him, Teddy punched him right in the eye when Jimmy couldn't see it, resulting in a shift of momentum in the match.
With Teddy on the offense, things got out of hand, Jimmy was almost hit by him several times, and it started to look more like a threat than an accident, and The Terminator was looking to end this with a sharpshooter!
He locked it in tight, and Brady was in serious trouble now, crawling to the ropes but whenever he got close, Teddy would pull him away.
But Will wouldn't tap out, he stayed in and grabbed all of the power he could, all the energy left in him and somehow, got to the ropes, and after 4 seconds that felt like an eternity, Ted let go of him to avoid a DQ.
Teddy looked around for a while, seemingly angry about someone or something, and started shouting towards the crowd.
"Where the hell are you?!"
Could he be looking for one of his stable mates? Was there going to be yet another interference?
It appears like this one was avoided, but Teddy was not happy.
Out of pure rage, he started flipping over whatever he found outside the ring - monitores, water bottles, even the match bell, until he stopped as if he remembered something.
We saw a sadistic look in his eyes, and he approached to the apron skirt, lifting it to find...

Quote:
Peyton: A Kendo Stick?!
Owen: What the hell is that doing there?
Peyton: There is no way this was put there by the ring crew, this was planted by one of the Hart Foundation!
*Owen once again looked frozen, and couldn't say a word*
Peyton: But surely he wasn't going to hit Brady with it, right? Think about the consequences, about the punishment he may recie-
NO!
GOOD GOD!
This man is unstable.
Teddy Hart hit Brady with the kendo stick many times in all parts of his body, until he was left there, bloody and broken, waiting for the paramedics to arrive.
But when they did, Jim Neidhart and Jack Evans came out and blocked them off, beating the already beaten man down, as well as Ashley Sixx who came for the rescue.
When the security arrived, it was already bad enough, but they got a hold of the trio and The Mayhem Express were able to get medical treatment.

Winner: William Brady (DQ)
Rating: 45/D

The Champ, Oje "The Hearthrob" Hart is backstage, cutting a pre taped promo before his tag match:
Tonight you will be gifted with the presence of The Hearthrob himself, YOUR North American Heavyweight Champion,
ME.
But before you pass out of excitement, I want you to hear this, more specifically, I want Joe Hendry to hear this:
In the first show of May, last month, I defeated you in a match, clean as a whistle, middle of the ring.
A match that ultimately granted me a title match, whenever I want, WHENever I want.
And guess what, I didn't even use it to win the title, I used a thing I like to call "Perfection...
Of Performance"
And now, you try and claim my throne, my crown.
What makes you think you will do any better than last time?
What makes you believe that you, the so called "Local Hero", can beat ME?
Well let me answer that for you,
You Can't!
You know that very well, but you will try anyways, because of your stupid optimism, naiveness and sheer idiocy.
I am a HART, Joe, not some drunk Scottish man in a dress.
I was trained by the absolute best in the world, the pride of Canadian wrestling since I was 5 years old.
5 Years, that's even higher than the amount of in ring experience you have.
So come Best There Was I, you can bet your drunk ass, I will walk out the same man as the one I walked in as -
A CHAMPION!

Rating: 49/D+

Oje "The Hearthrob" Hart and Chakal vs. Joe Hendry and Eric Cairnie:
Joe Hendry and Chakal are the ones who start this match, leaving the champion to taunt the crowd the entire time he was outside, and the match starts out like a methodical battle of technical wit, as the two refined wrestlers lock up in numerous holds to try and get an upper hand.
Hendry was the one able to achieve that first, however, and he started with his usual tactic of wearing down the opponent with slam after slam, fraustrating the veteran in the proccess.
But Chakal isn't stupid, he knew what was going on quickly and countered with brilliant takedowns from a grounded position to put Hendry down.
Chakal was getting momentum, hitting a DDT to put Joe down for a bit, before trying to tag in Oje, but he wasn't even paying attention to his partner, he was too busy taunting the crowd with his belt.
Chakal was there for too long because Hendry was able to get himself back up and running to hit a surprise German Suplex on him!
He even bridged it into a pin but couldn't bury the hatchet just yet.
Hendry was wearing down Chakal again, but this time using submission holds and chin locks to do so, until eventually putting Chakal up on his shoulders for a Hendry Slam!
The veteran was able to fight his way out of it, hitting Hendry with a backbreaker instead, leaving both men out on the canvas as Jimmy started counting them out.
Both tried reaching for their tag partners, but Chakal was the one to get the tag first, this time Oje very much into the action.
When Oje entered, he dragged Hendry away from Cairnie, who was still fresh, and towards Chakal, bodying the Scottsman from the tag.
Oje started stomping on his opponent, trying to end it before Cairnie even has a chance to get in, but Joe was not giving up just yet, able to somehow reverse the sharpshooter attempt from The Hearthrob into a Hendry Lock!
Could he force the champion to tap out?
Not this time, Oje was too close to his corner and Chakal checked himself in to force a stop, and we were back to square one with the two that started the match.
Hendry caught the man with a forearm, but Chakal answered with one of his own, leading to a standoff between the two.
It was Chakal who won this one, but not without a price, he hurt his leg in the tussle, and was struggling to get up.
This gave the Local Hero enough time to tag in the fresh Eric Cairnie, who came in fired up!
Knocking down Oje from the apron, and hitting Chakal with a Swinging Neckbreaker to end the match-
But Chakal kicked out just before that could happen.
On the outside, Oje was visibly mad, and decided to take care of Hendry in the ringside area, slamming him down from the apron and they started brawling.
Back inside the ring, Cairnie noticed the fact Oje was missing from his corner, and went to finish the deal.
He waited for Chakal to get up, and once he did, hit his variation of the East River Crossing, the Niagra Falls Crossing!

One...

Two...

Three!

Cairnie beat his enemy in the main event, what a way to get momentum going into Best There Was!

Winner: Eric Cairnie (pinned Chakal, Niagra Falls Crossing)
Rating: 39/D-

After the match, we hear The Hart Foundation 2.0 Theme hit the arena to a chorus of jeers, but instead of the Tag Team Champions, Tyson Dux and Dan Myers come out from the crowd!
They get up on the apron, all 4 match participants inside, when Teddy Hart, Jack Evans and Jim Neidhart all crowd the ring from the remaining angles.
They proceed to attack all men in the ring, assaulting each of them seperately and brutally.
They hit Cairnie with 4 finishing moves, Chakal eats 2 tag team maneuvers, Joe Hendry is slammed onto the concrete and the champion, Oje Hart, is put through the announce table right in front of his father.
It's at this point that Owen Hart snaps, and we hear him shout through the camera microphones:
"You are ALL going to regret this! You hear me?
This is MY company, this is MY home, this is MY SON! What the hell is going in your head, Jim? You were family to me you son of a b****!"

The Anvil then approaches Owen Hart, looks at him, and then out of nowhere slams him with a giant Spinebuster on top of Oje!

*Stampede Wrestling has hit a new views record on the WWE Network, and due to their success, WWE has given them an improved slot on Saturday programming, reaching many more countries too. (Stampede Wrestling has risen to Regional Size, but my way of expressing rise in size would be through Network reports like this, so be aware)

*Pepper Parks aka Pepper The Body has reached a deal with Stampede Wrestling as per sources.
It is also said that Owen Hart is looking to pair a valet with him, but it's not too sure who's it gonna be.

*Abdullah The Butcher, one of the most hardcore wrestlers to ever live, and a 5 time Stampede Wrestling NA Champion, has retired.

*Owen Hart sent a press release stating "big announcement coming tomorrow regarding the events of last show". Could it be about Jim Neidhart, or maybe Tyson Dux and Dan Myers?
